Domination Soul! -Take Control of Destiny- [Started|Not accepting|PG16]

So that makes my character something of a natural spellcaster? Cool.

The Irony in your post, hivenet, has made me think of an Idea. I think my Character shall be some form of Comic relief, maybe. A guy who seems energetic in the outcomes, but has actually reached it aiming to be lazy. Thanks hivenet.

The big thing is that you cannot phase through mages (the PCs, and anyone else with magic power). Note that magical things are unphasable as well, like a conjured sword, or a thrown fireball. All things mundane are fair game, though.

That seems pretty much fine. Will make things fairer on my end.

I try my hardest. I just had the thought... wait. I've woken up on a plane, and theres an odd teenager having to be forced awake by the staff... Not like thats odd in anyway. I hope my post was ok, it was kind of... odd thinking of what to actually put, and i was worried that i hadn't got enough details in.

@encapturer: I am so sorry for my inactivity. But I will have to admit that my schedule has gotten unexpectedly busy. If you want, I can just drop out now, so as not to slow down the RP. If not, I am still happy to be here. It is taking me a little while to sift through the sheer number of posts so far. Haven't finished yet.

EDIT: Alright, I finished reading through the posts. Since the story hasn't moved outside the airport I feel I could still easily bring about my introduction. I will still leave it up to you whether I stay or not though. Also, I just realized with the rules you have given about magic, will my telepathy still work on other magicians. Because if not, that is a pretty big problem, leaving my character with almost no way to defend himself against other magic users.

This MAY be a bad time to mention this, but I left for a 12-day vacation this morning. I'm in Canada right now, and I have no idea if any of the hotels I'm stopping in have free wi-fi. If it comes down to no other option, I can make short-ish posts with my mobile. I'll try my best, but mobile sucks.

Direct telepathy... will not work unless the other party allows it if they are a magic user. Note these two things, though.
1) The majority of the opposition at this point will be mundane enemies, which telepathy works just fine on
2) By the time we get to the point where you'll be dealing with magicians more often, telepathy will not be your only weapon.

Do I have permission to move Devin with the group if need be? It will be... minimal, and only if it is important.

Good job, everyone's gonna die!

Well, not everyone, you all are going to live most likely. Their guns don't... have much ammunition, and they are relying on their boss' ability to pretty much kill anybody he wants with creative use of his power. Of course, mages are immune to that method =p. Actually, I had planned on someone trying to take out the mastermind while he is distracted, but this is more interesting, if more deadly to everyone involved.

In any case, the 10 gunmen's role is done, so you can say what they're doing when they're fighting you.

@ DaWeirdGuy: Your recent post appears to be rather Godmoddish. The post right after the host mentions the villain is on the second floor only to my character, your character immediately gets the idea that the villain is on the second floor and gets there in a flash, assuming there are no obstacles or resistance. Sure, you could say that your character has the ability to reason towards that conclusion, he is in the middle of mortal combat against armed gunmen. I'm sure the adrenaline would be blocking such a train of thought in favor of thinking of ways to survive. I would reconsider your post.

Okay, I'm sorry. But, considering that I've already said that my guy would probably be the first one to confront this guy, I thought I might as well take advantage of the knowledge that is there. But If it appears a little too much, and a little too co-incidental, then I shall edit (Though it's more meta-gaming than God-Modding)
And really, my Character isn't the kind of guy to have tonnes of Adrenaline rush and such. He's rather dull and nonchalant about pretty much everything, and still remains that way. I'm not saying he's the greatest thinker and a genius and stuff, but he can stay calm and think about things.
And technically he's not in the middle of combat, and has been pretty much away from the combat for the most of it.

As I read, I'm astounded by how many characters are bored of the situation. Most of them were in mortal combat with armed terrorists, but yet they are only mildy surprised about it. I'll admit, I haven't put much writing into the feelings of my own character, but I have implied that she was fearing for her life and the life for the others (at least that was my intention). However, I did not get such a feeling when I read about your characters. The only people who can be bored after a deadly conflict are the most hardened of veterans of the bloodiest wars or psychopaths. From what I've gathered, none of your characters are such. Try to give your characters more realistic reactions please. <3

TL;DR, CHARACTERS, Y U NO EMOTIONS?!
