The major weakness to them is needing time to evolve and gather them. As such, this support is geared towards speeding up progress. Behold and quake, at the diabolical evolutions of the Great Moth. (Plus some generic insect support that also helps to support this set) [spoiler=Monsters] Imitation Moth EARTH * Insect / Effect This card’s name is treated as ‘Petit Moth’. Once per turn: You can discard 1 Insect-Type monster; Special Summon this card from your hand or graveyard. ATK: 300 / DEF: 200 Oaken Moth EARTH ** Insect / Effect Whilst you control another ‘Moth’ monster: Your opponent cannot select this card as an attack target and this card cannot be targeted by card effects. When your opponent Normal Summons a monster; draw 1 card. You can only control 1 ‘Oaken Moth’. ATK: 0 / DEF: 0 Armoured Great Moth EARTH **** Insect / Effect As long as this card remains face-up on the field, other ‘Great Moth’ cards you control cannot be destroyed by card effects. If you opponent activates a card effect that would destroy 2 or more ’Great Moth’ monsters you control: You can Tribute this card; negate the effect and destroy it. ATK: 0 / DEF: 2200 Prepubescent Great Moth EARTH **** Insect / Effect This card inflicts Piercing Battle Damage. ATK: 1900 / DEF: 1100 Truly Perfectly Ultimate Great Moth EARTH ********** Insect / Effect This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This monster can only be Special Summoned (from the hand) by banishing 1 ‘Perfectly Ultimate Great Moth’ you control. When this card is Special Summoned; you can add 1 ‘Great Moth Evolution’ card from your deck or graveyard to your hand. ATK: 4200 / DEF: 3700 Petit Butterfly WIND * Insect / Effect When this card is destroyed by your opponent’s card (either by battle or by card effect); search your deck for up to 2 ‘Evolution’ or ‘Moth’ card(s) and add them to your hand. ATK: 200 / DEF: 300 Monarch Butterfly WIND ******* Insect / Effect Cannot be Special Summoned from the deck. You can Special Summon this card (from your hand) by Tributing 1 ‘Petit Butterfly’ you control. Once per turn; you can add 1 ‘Moth’ card from you deck to your hand. ATK: 2000 / DEF: 3500 Precious Butterfly WIND ** Insect / Effect Once per turn whilst you control a ‘Moth’ monster: You can reveal this card in your hand; draw 1 card. This card remains revealed until the End Phase. If you use this effect, you cannot conduct your Battle Phase this turn. The effect of ‘Precious Butterfly’ can only be used once per turn. [/list] Mutant Evolution Normal Spell For the rest of the duel, all Level 7 and above Insect-Type monsters now inflict Piercing damage. Great Moth Evolution - Acid Scales Normal Spell Select 1 ‘Great Moth’ monster you control; its effect becomes: ‘As long as this card remains face-up on the field; reduce the ATK of all monsters your opponent controls by 100 x this card’s level. This card cannot be targeted by the effect of a ‘Great Moth Evolution’ card.’ Great Moth Evolution - Treasure Horn Normal Spell Select 1 ‘Great Moth’ monster you control; its effect becomes: ‘When this card destroys an opponent’s monster by battle; draw 1 card. This card cannot be targeted by the effect of a ‘Great Moth Evolution’ card.’ Great Moth Evolution - Enhanced Reproduction Normal Spell Select 1 ‘Great Moth’ monster you control; its effect becomes: ‘Once per turn: Select 1 ’Moth’ or ‘Butterfly’ monster in your hand or graveyard with a level equal to or less than this card’s; Special Summon it. This card cannot be targeted by the effect of a ‘Great Moth Evolution’ card.’ Entomologist’s Gift Normal Spell Tribute 1 Level 8 or higher Insect-Type monster you control; draw 2 cards. Hidden Insect Normal Spell Select 1 Insect-Type monster on the field; it cannot be targeted as an attack target, it cannot be affected by card effects and it cannot declare an attack. Insect Force Continuous Spell Negate the effects of all Insect-Type monsters your opponent controls.[/spoiler] [spoiler=Traps] Generic Insect Normal Trap If this card was sent to the graveyard by an opponent’s card: When your opponent activates a card effect that would destroy a Level 7 or higher Insect-Type monster you control; you can Special Summon this card as an effect monster (Insect-Type/EARTH/Level 4/ATK 0/DEF 0) to your side of the field to negate the effect and destroy the card. This card cannot be destroyed by battle. If a card effect would target an Insect-Type monster you control; you can change the target to this card. Mugendramon Posted July 23, 2012 Report Share Posted July 23, 2012 So you're finally presenting them. EARTH and WIND should be capitalized. The Great Moth Evolutions were suggested by me, iirc. I still believe they're amazing, and they should exist. ...Hidden Insect is a problem though, because Dragonfly is a possible target. Link to comment
