I always get impressed by how Oda handles this ton of characters recently introduced and presents this "fight by fight" structure while making it all feel natural and non-dragging.

As for the chapter, I am satisfied, and am waiting for:
Doflamingo vs Luffy

What are the ones at the Thousand Sunny into right now?

Soldier-san vs Flag guy

Backstory about Doflamingo's brother

Sabo's fight

There's a ton of material to cover before the arc can end.

I find it scary, and a little sad, how little trouble Zoro has had with EVERY fight so far. I mean, I don't think this one is going to be easy for him, but everything has been such a walk in the park for him since the time skip. I want to see him actually take the fight seriously. Curb stomps aren't that fun when its the norm.

Eh, his enemies post-timeskip haven't been that powerful in my opinion, at least compared to others.

All the Straw Hats curbstomped during the Fishman Island because that was the point.

Monet had an interesting power, but Zoro having haki was all he needed for her. I think that would have been a closer fight pre-timeskip; seeing Zoro improvise against a Logia user back then would have been interesting.

I will admit though, this current guy being giant and control over all stone is pretty strong.

But Zoro can cut stone and he's faced a giant (Oz) before. So he's used to this by now.

It's kind of reminding me of Hibari from KHR, he pretty much curbstomped his way through that whole series and was super scary and badass.

Personally I'm okay with it.

I'm fine with it in small amounts. At this point I just want to see him get serious. I'm still betting he will need to though.

I just noticed.

Zoro isn't fighting with a handicap now.

Usually something screws him over before the fight starts .-.

You know, I never noticed that.

One shitty trend to fall in.

He was starved/nearly dead against Captain Morgan.

He had a stab wound fighting Cabaji.

He lost 2 of his swords fighting the Meowban Bros.

Nothing for Hawkeye, but the point was he was at his best and lost, so yeah.

He had wounds from Hawkeye fighting Hachi.

Technically, his handicap against Mr. 1 was being unable to cut steel.

He had Usopp stuck to him at the start of his fight with Kaku.

And his brief scrap with Kuma was after he was wasted fighting Moria and Oars.

Looks like Oda's been giving him a break recently.

You missed his fight with Ryuma. He didn't have much of a handicap there, but him being a zombie should count for something. Hell, even vs. Monet you have the fact that he doesn't like to fight women.

Edot: Wait, Zoro only had 2 swords against Ryuma. So yea, Zombie + -1 sword.
