That's not a very good comparison. Batman would beat Superman without a doubt, he already did it via proxy when Ra's al Ghul stole his plans for fighting the Justice League.

That is the only part of the comparison up for debate.

Both are the best of friends; one All Powerful and with a single debilitating weakness, the other relies on his brains and gadgetry.

I don't think non-cartoon Batman has any friends. Definitely not besties with Superman, at least.

And both Luffy and Superman have multiple weaknesses. Superman with all the types of Kryptonite, magic, and different colored suns. Luffy with the ocean, Sea-Prism Stone, Armament Haki, slashing attacks, and Fishman Karate. To name a few for each.

And Batman isn't all plans and gadgets, dude can bench press half a ton and is almost superhuman himself. Usopp's got insane damage soak, but aside from that he's pretty weak physically.

So, we're pretty far into One Piece, who do you think is currently the strongest character in the series? I'm tempted to say Garp, and the only reason I'm not 100% sure because we don't know how much his power has waned in his old age.

But to list some things about Garp:

- In his prime, Garp was on par with the most powerful pirate in the world, Gol D. Roger. He and Roger were practically crew members and they almost killed each other on several occasions. By comparison, Whitebeard in his prime, in all his strength (strength I believe could actually destroy the world, and strength that made him the Strongest Man in the World after Roger's death), could not defeat Roger and become the best (also interesting to note, Whitebeard actually calls Garp by name instead of "brat", something he calls even the Admirals).

- In order to train to fight Don Chinjao, Garp destroyed 8 mountains like they were punching bags. No small feat on its own, obviously, but the real kicker is of course that he completely and utterly defeated Chinjao with a single punch. This was when Chinjao was at the peak of his power, a power with possibly the highest bounty in the series yet (above 500 million may or may not be above Ace's 550 million).

- During the Battle at Marineford, Sengoku was forced to hold back Garp, because we all know, Sengoku included, that Garp would have definitely killed Akainu if it came to a fight. In his prime, Garp was definitely Fleet Admiral material, and even in his current age, he's stronger than Admiral level. Remember that the only reason he stayed Vice-Admiral was for the freedom that he would lose in a higher position.

I'm sure there's more, but I've forgotten if I was going to add anymore.

Second discussion topic: Would you want any previous antagonists to make a return? I'd want Eneru.

Granted, he's perfectly happy on the moon, so I doubt it'd happen, but I think him returning would be cool. I really liked Eneru as a villain, and I didn't even hate him (I usually judge how good a villain is based on how much I dislike them). It's entirely possible that Eneru has gotten stronger since his first appearance in the Skypeia Arc, but note that while he lost to Luffy, he wasn't weak (compared to later antagonists) during that arc by a long shot.

- He's definitely the best user of Observation Haki shown so far, with a range that can reach across a whole kingdom, and in conjunction with his Devil Fruit, he can do extremely precise things like hear conversations from miles away.

- With a hypothetical bounty of 500 million (as stated by Oda in an SBS), that would be the third highest known bounty in the series, behind only Ace and Chinjao.

- He'd be loads more powerful if he simply lost the god complex, which may have lessened after his defeat at the hands of Luffy (if Eneru wasn't so damn cocky about everything, I doubt Luffy would have beaten him).

Also, third one: Do you guys prefer to use the Japanese terms or English terms for One Piece?

For me, it sort of depends. I watched only the dub for awhile, and the terms I heard in English first stuck with me. For example, I say the Warlords (as in Seven Warlords of the Sea), but I stopped watching the dub before it got to the Yonkou, so I say Yonkou. For the kinds of Haki, I use English names merely because I don't know how to spell the romaji terms of the top of my head.

Sabo's a beast. I'm not sure he'd be able to take Fujitora, but he'd definitely make him sweat bullets.

Cannonballs even.

I laughed at the scene where the two fell off the bull, surprised by the ending panel as well. It's been a while since Luffy's been screwed by the ocean.

So now I'm wondering if Luffy and Law will actually team up to fight Doflamingo or if Luffy will get him solo.

And something else, before Oda took his break, weren't we gonna learn about how Doflamingo screwed his bro over?

Guess that'll come up during the fight or something.
