Wow that was very intense.

How can all those 10 years worth of legendary pirates be losing to 2 of Doflamingo's crew?

And what stance is Burgess taking in all this, or the admiral that's on board? They seem like it affects them as well.

I don't remember very well but did Big Mom go after the Thousand Sunny or touch port at Dressrosa?

A lot of the guys are just average dudes and what not. In terms of who will be major players outside of Mingo's group, its safe to assume we know all of them. My guess at the list would be

Jesus Burgess, Fujitora, Bastille, Bartolomeo, Sai, Boo, Hajrudin, Ideo, Don Chinjao, Funk Bros, Cavendish, Rebecca, Elizabello II, Blue Gilly, Sabo, Hack, Kin'emon, Kanjuro, Kyros, Viola, and Straw Hats (minus Sanji, Brook, Nami, and Chooper). We have a handful of named characters from Block D, but they don't seem that important. We also have CP-0 so that will also be important.

Over all, thats a fair number of characters, but we had similar (though I'd guess smaller) numbers during the War and CP9 stories.

There's an interesting theory by a Brazilian Youtuber called "Symmetry Theory". I would link you guys to it, but it's in Portuguese.

Basically, it says that every event that happens in the New World has a corresponding, similar event that happened in East Blue/Grand Line. When I get back home I'll rewatch it and post it in a detailed way. It's actually a very good theory with little flaws.

Dressrosa arc does have some similarities to Alabasta arc, so I could believe that.

This week's chapter was cool. Doflamingo's plan's really nutty, and the way he swept Luffy aside was chilling. This stone guy seems really damn powerful too; I think Oda could have saved that power for a future boss if he wanted.

I'm guessing Bird Cage will gradually become smaller and smaller until everyone's sliced and diced. Gross.

  • 2 weeks later...

So I went lurking in discussion threads about the newest episode and someone said they were done with the show since Usopp had Haki. The person actually believed his lie to the Tontatta that his Haki shook the island, not Fujitora's meteorite. Usopp's lies are so good they fool the audience now. XD

Awesome scene, btw, that meteorite.

Yea, that was an amzing chapter. I love the turn around Oda did with Usopp. Honestly makes the whole bit around that joke go from, "gah, your doing this again", to "this is amazing and is going to be so much to watch". The stuff with Rebecca was also good. I just love how Luffy can just latch on to people. The whole "look at this country" line did feel a little out of character though. Though I'm going to chalk that up to Luffy just hating Mingo.

Usopp: Dressrosa's Most Wanted.

We havent seen the reaction from The Giant Gladiator and them, who knows where the loyalties will lie.

Its going to be really interesting to see where the loyalties end up falling. The King will likely fight with the SH, but I can easily see his strategist trying to catch them. The one I'm most interested in seeing is Cavendish.

I wanna see Luffy do some fighting alongside Don Chinjao, I'm sure he and his grandsons would help them out.

And I agree with Flame. Elizabello is friends with King Riku, I doubt he'd fight against them, but Dagama's not so nice.

You would think I would know by now to not start reading One Piece when I need to leave in 15 min.

you might know better, but you also know it's always worth it. that ton press was hilarious. and we even get some minr building on doflamingo's character to go with it.

I need to know why that blind guy's doing things in such a roundabout way instead of just arresting doflamingo. does he think (or even know) that somebody worse is waiting to take his place?

Yeah, Ucy! And lol at everyone trying to help against Luffy's will. Reminds me of

, actually.

Also, I still want to know how strong Elizabello's King Punch really is, even an uncharged one blasted straight through the one side of Pica's arm.
