I like Mingo's progression in the New World. He started off standard villain, confident in his own abilities and high standing, but unlike most he never underestimated the Straw Hats. Starting at Punk Hazard and now all that's happening to his kingdom, he's steadily been getting angrier and more desperate in his situation. We saw him angry for the first time back in Punk Hazard when Monet and Vergo got beat, and in this most recent chapter we've got this face.

Also, Sabo confirmed Dragon-Type. But seriously, how strong is he? I really want to find out.

I only read this, it never crossed my mind (certainly blew it). No one mentioned it here, so I'm sharing.

"He's not dead. Oda made it obvious in this chapter that Law is awake. Law can separate limbs. We know that Law and Doflamingo have a history. Maybe Law wants the kill himself, maybe he wants to shame Doflamingo rather than kill him, who knows?" I like to add that this also explains the amount of blood we saw. A result of a last moment scratch.

My bet is on this, but IMO Law's reasoning will be more rational than emotional.

What I though when I saw Mingo's head fly, was -like most other ppl- that he can recover from that through his DF powers.

But now, thinking about it, since his head is rolling on the ground ATM, he is not actually breathing and his blood cycle is broken. So, even if he does reattach his head and stuff, he can not regain brain cells...

There are probably some other side effects to having your head cut off, but I do not know them, cause I'm not a doctor. :P

EDIT: Actually, scratch that, my reasoning is not that good. If Law's PDF can do it, why can't Mingo's PDF do it... One Piece is crazy.

The sand/stone clone theory is debunked by the blood splatter, IMO.

Holy sheet I forgot about Law.

I assumed it was just a fake.  Also, him reattaching his head with strings would be too far of a stretch, even for One Piece.

So after ever new episode of the anime I go lurk on some forums discussing it just to see others' opinions on it, and this past episode had Bartolomeo finding out about Luffy at the Colosseum. There are always a handful of posters who watch the anime without reading the manga, and they have posted wondering how Luffy would do against Bartolomeo, like they're expecting a fight, and I'm just laughing to myself at the reality of what's actually going to happen.

The reality is extremely more awesome than their predictions. Can't wait to see "Lucy" animated.
