"Dark Master - Zorc" Support

I always felt that Zorc would be perfect as a boss monster, and it is not too different to Grapha (Level 8 DARK Fiend-Type with 2700 ATK and a destruction effect) Unfortunately, Zorc seems to be outclassed by Demise, so here are 2 support cards that I believe will take him to the highest tier.


Name: Resurrection of the Dark Master
Spell Card
Type: Ritual
Effect: This card is also treated as "Contract with the Dark Master". This card can be used to Ritual Summon "Dark Master - Zorc" from your hand [i]or Deck[/i]. You must also Tribute monsters whose total Levels and Ranks equal 8 or more from the field or your hand. You can banish this card in your Graveyard: Banish from the Graveyard(s) up to 5 monsters whose total Levels and Ranks equal 8 or more; Special Summon 1 "Dark Master - Zorc" from your Graveyard. (This Special Summon is treated as a Ritual Summon). You cannot activate this effect the turn this card was sent to the Graveyard.


Improved version of "Contract with the Dark Master". It is named "Resurrection" because it can Summon a "Zorc" from the grave with its second effect, which most likely will be the same Zorc Summoned by the first effect. Just like with Harpies, you would not be able to have 3 of this [and 3 of the regular Ritual Spells in your Deck, but with a card like this, that shouldn't be a problem. This card is not your ordinary Ritual Spell (besides the second effect) because:
- It can Summon "Zorc" from the Deck. (A few might find this ability is overpowered, but my intention is to make "Zorc" top tier, and considering the current, aggressive met, I think this effect is needed).
- It can also use Xyz monsters as Ritual Materials.
Notice how this card's second effect can also be used as a pseudo-"Soul Release".


Name: Royal Guard of the Dark Master

Type: Fiend/Effect
Level: 4
ATK: 1900
DEF: 700
Effect: When this card is Normal Summoned: Add 1 "Dark Master" card from your Deck to your hand. If you Ritual Summon "Dark Master - Zorc", this card can be used, [i]from your hand, field or Graveyard[/i], as the entire Tribute. If a "Dark Master - Zorc" you control would be destroyed, this card is destroyed instead.


A 1900 ATK searcher who behaves as a Zorc-exclusive "Ritual Raven", protects "Zorc" (even from its own effect) and can look for a copy of itself in non-Zorc Decks. Since "Zorc" is not a target of "Preparation of Rites", a personal searcher who can also look for the Ritual Spell would be of great use. As a added bonus, with 1900 ATK it can stand against most Level 4 monsters.
The text in italics might look redudant, but I included it so the Royal Guard will be compatible with the second effect of the improved Zorc Ritual Spell.

Ressurection summoning from the deck might be a little OPed. However i do like the graveyard effect of it as you would need 5 monsters. Royal guard, though, shouldn't be able to be used as the entire tribute from the graveyard!I mean, how would that even work!

Oh, but good job on the first card
