Hello YCM. I'm looking for a good 1v1. The task is to make a simple Xyz monster. First to 3 votes wins. Easy enough?
Galaxy Lord
LIGHT
Rank 8
Warrior/Xyz/Effect
2 Level 8 Monsters
You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card: Special Summon 1 Level 8 LIGHT monster from either player's Graveyard in Attack Position, and make its ATK and DEF 0. Its effects are negated and this card cannot attack during the turn you activate this effect. The effect of "Galaxy Lord" can only be activated once per turn.

2700/2900

Nathanel, the Seer
••••
DARK
Fiend/Xyz/Effect
2400/2000
2 Level 4 Monsters
You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card: reveal the top card of your Deck to your opponent. If the revealed card is a monster: Banish it face-down. If you Summon a monster with the same Level as the banished monster: You can Special Summon the banished monster. If the revealed card is a Spell/Trap card: Add it to your hand. The effect of "Nathanel, the Seer" can only be activated once per turn.
Galaxy Lord is extremely narrow. Maybe you can use it for an extra Hieratic Seal? Make another Xyz Monster and add damage? (But it can't attack that turn...) What you were going for I have no idea.

Nathanel reveals the card to both players. Then it either gives you a free Spell/Trap, or it banishes a monster from your Deck, and can Special Summon that monster if it's still on the field when you Summon a monster of the same Level. This provides card presence far too easily for the Rank and amount of ATK you've chosen.

Overall, I'd have to go with Card B (Nathanel) because it's interesting.

I love card A. Galaxy-Eyes does too, I'm sure. And it certainly can't be abused as that other thing there.

Card B... is hideously broken.

Generic Rank 4? 2 Materials? Solid stats? All check.

Broken-as-f*** effect? No, nonononono. You went WAY overboard with that. Think of the impact this thing would have in ANYTHING. Rabbit would become INSANE. Anything that could make Rank 4s would be getting mad pluses. I mean, his effect can be activated once per turn. That never stopped Rabbit. You have to reveal the card. That never stopped Zeal Gigas. And oh, what is this? You turn your plenty-of-Level-4-monster-filled Deck into an Xyz Normal Summoning machine? That is nuts, plain simple.

To whoever made Card A, congratulations on the vote, and that's a card Jeremy would like. To whoever made card B, you should reconsider your playing this game.

Monkey said everything, and I mean EVERYTHING, that needs to be said about Card B. It's outrageously broken in anything that makes Rank 4.

Dino Rabbit doesn't need help being broken. It runs mostly Spell And Traps, so that's an instant plus, then it runs Rabbit (4), Kaba (4), Sabersaurus (4) all at 3. So, banish that Rabbit, suddenly those dead Dinos in hand aren't so dead anymore. Level 3 has Tour Guide and Sangan.

OCG Inzektors already use Ladybug, now they have a reason to make Rank Fours. TGC Inzektors CAN make them, but most of them don't run Ladybug, but Hopper.

GAdgets are undermeta, but this gives them a lot of help. They already run 6 level 4's, not including the rest of the deck.

Card B is just terribly designed and broken. Easily a staple Rank 4 in anything that summons them.

Card A's only use is Photon Sanctuary, one of the coolest undermeta decks around honestly. I can't really say a whole lot that Monkey HASN'T said.

I still don't know what Galaxy Lord is s'posed to do. After you Summon GEPD, what do you do with it?

Read GEPD.

His effect is negated, but it can be activated. Once it is activated, since it's no longer on the field, it is not negated anymore. It will therefore come back later as the 3000 beater it actually is.

Banishing GEPD and the other monster is an effect, not a cost.

And even if it were Red Nova Dragon and not GEPD, the effect activates and resolves on the field. Where the card goes is of no consequence: it is still negated. Negation a la Debris Dragon does not function like Skill Drain.

While this is all true, Galaxy Support requires a Level 5 or higher Photon/Galaxy.

Aaaaand albeit the result being what it is, I can only assume he meant it to work like Skill Drain, and allow GEPD to slip through. Obviously not what actually HAPPENED.
