Seta
Boring and monotone. The c4d is also too obvious. And for now I'd suggest removing those pixels and working on them when the tag is closer of being done. Might wanna remove then completely on the finished version. Also the lighting is forced, make it more natural. Overall the whole tag could be more lit up.
.Rai
Thanks for the critique. I've always liked the pixels as a stylistic point but I'll remove them. They'll return someday ;-; I'll probably go back and remove some of the gradient filters. They're really sucking the colour out of the render. Maybe a Brightness filter to make it brighter by a bit. chairman ali
I like the blocks a lot, I think it's a really smart move but you're not placing them correctly. Try to bring everything together, try to make a movement in the artwork so that it feels that she's attacking. And as Seta said it is pretty obvious. You can fix it by texturising some parts near and and enhancing the dark areas. Maybe with orbs or more textures. A cool idea would be that you'd use those squares as scatters but I don't know how you're going to pull it off unless you have a good idea. .Rai
God, there was this member in Showcase a while back who did some amazing effects with pixels. I'm trying to remember if I can find that member's work, because I think I remember something like the scatters you're suggesting. I feel like an abstract C4D would really add some movement, but the left is already pretty cramped unless I remove some of the effect C4Ds. I'll add some extra detail to the darker areas eventually. Thanks, Ken.
Night
Too blurry, the pixels make it look almost LQ. But keep practicing with them, If achieved you could have a really unique style, something that is hard to come by. The whole thing is just far too big for your what you're able to incorporate. The only problem I have with the lighting is that it's too focused on specific points locking the eyes only to that exact area. As Seta said, the c4d is far too obvious, you can't just place them around, you need to blend them into the tag and use them as if they were finite.
Tried something a little new, but I really don't like it that much. Supposed to help with how static the piece was, but ended up looking like effect spam. I might leave this one and go onto something new.
