I would be fully willing to have my level of Autism identified, surely. I am not very certain I've any significant amount of a unit measuring Autism, but I'd rather remain open-minded in terms of possibilities. Would you have any symptoms or idiosyncrasies of somebody Autistic to compare myself to?

I'm just harsh on myself in terms of intelligence. Being eloquent is not tantamount to being intelligent, as having high grades is even less so. You couldn't call me a genius for remembering every word in a book like you couldn't for remembering all the lessons in class, as it's merely encyclopedic knowledge. Do you understand?

Knowing the word idiosyncrasies? No. But for encyclopedic knowledge? I guess. Are you in college though, cause I'm having a hard time understanding what you mean.

"Idiosyncrasies" can be simplified as habits, for example.

I'm starting college this August. A week and a half following my seventeenth birthday. Why would you have difficulty following?

Thanks, kind sir.

And C4, if it makes you feel better, I can't understand most of what Alice says. All of her points just kind of go over my head, so I'm generally left with no response other than "Wait, what?" or "Okay."

But now for a more on-topic point...I often have many people state that I'm intelligent, but I honestly don't see it. And it's not even for the reasons Alice gave...I have difficulty remembering most things, and I am far from eloquent...I see no reason for me to be referred to as such. It's honestly very confusing, and, ironically, I feel stupid for not knowing why people call me intelligent.

I have considered the possibility of being autistic/having Asperger's syndrome...I've never gotten it diagnosed, but I think there's some level of autism within my mind.

Also, I suck at tying thoughts together.

I'm Autistic, for one, so my intelligence is lower in some cases. And two, I have some weakpoints when it comes to science terms, or science in general, and I'm going into my senior year in September, so that's not particularly leaning in my favor.

@Dharc: Thanks for understanding.

Autistic people tend to have a higher median intelligence than other people, though. I wasn't referring to the science, though. I asked what signs I could look for to show Autism, to word it simply.

Well, for signs, I do have some antisocial problems, but it doesn't really effect me as much as it did when I was in 6th Grade, where I tried to get attention through stupidity. And I have Borderline Autism, so the only signs for that I can give you is the antisocial thing, and this weird act of flailing your arms around like a little kid when you get over-excited about certain things (Depends on your interests). Hope that helps. Oh, and the possible habit of biting your nails for no real reason.

I actually have light dermatophagia, rather than biting my own nails. That's the skin on my fingers, my lips and the inside of my mouth.

I scored forty-one on the Autism quiz.

I'm actually LOLing a bit now, as my score was 25/50. I'm slightly above the average math contest winner. I actually thought I would get 27/50, but my score is fine.

Oh, I do that too, I forgot about that. :D

I got a 23 on my score.

But I was diagnosed with Asperger's when I was 12, which was the climax point of its symptoms.
I've gotten so much better throughout the years, especially after graduating high school.

Can't we agree that most of us are Autistic?

We can label it "Treehouse Villa for Socially Awkward People."
