Return of the Orichalcos (Finishing/PG-13/IC)

"You are defining evil incorrectly, my dear Cynthia." Archetype Earth continued on. "Evil in and of itself is not inhuman. Can you call the man who lies, the child who steals, or the girl who flirts inhuman? I am pure evil, but do not confuse the meaning of evil with 'monster'. I am still capable of neutral actions, such as thinking and planning. And as for that meteor thing..."

She snapped off a piece of the Orichalcum that made up her throne, before crunching it up into pieces, annoyed.

"I am the champion of the Earth. I'm not going to destroyed the planet that I must protect. That will defy everything I've been striving for - no, the destruction of the Earth is the very worst thing that could happen. I do not care for it, I cannot care for it, but all I need to know is that I need to protect it. My only goal is the annihilation of humanity's intelligence. Of course once their intelligences are gone, my superhuman powers shall disappear, but it is a necessary price." She went on. "For now, that is all you need to know."

And then she grinned a bit at her last question.

"Now why should I tell you that?"

As if to end their conversation, she rested herself onto her throne again and shut her eyes.

Brian revved his engine and took his bike off the pelican, coming over to the door of the roof, and taking the D-wheel down the stairs in control of the decent, as he came to the proper floor, sending himself down the hall to the armory doors, breaking hard as he stops just a foot away grinning, getting off as he grabs the powering device. attaching it to the door and taking a quick swallow.
"well here goes nothing."
he pressed his 2 minute timer on his watch as he started the power unit, getting the door open as fast as he could , going for the armor, and stopped for a moment
"that looks pretty cool"
he looked over it for a moment,
"okay Miss AI, I need your guidence, tell me how I get this on real fast."

Great.

He said his words quickly as she got in the back of the car and he put the peddle to the meddle and made it out of there. Its not like the place was going to explode or anything, well not by his hand anyway. Its just that eventually some form of authorities would show and start asking questions. And even though they would probably be under Castle's control no need in taking any unnecessary risk. I have to admit that was rather fun. Caused some destruction and I beat a super powerful Herald of Darkness. His watch glowed and he materialized what he assumed to be Lady Penelope's soul in card form. And you did an excellent job dwindling their numbers. I know you may not feel things like pride but you really did a good job. He congratulated Syria while continuing to drive around rubble, debris, and the dead.

While driving he couldn't help but pass a random park where he saw the golem looking at some...one and the little brat from before. No need to get involved with that he said as he continued to drive past avoiding what he defined as death.

45 minutes later

Lucas had finally made it to his condo space in what was formally downtown Detroit. Luckily as he opened the door he noticed that a team of maids were still busy working to clean up the place. He let out a slight smile as he knew Consuela was alive. Gotta love that foreign labor force, they are so persistent. He left the door open for Syria to walk through and acclimate herself. He threw his totebag of combined plundered loot on the table and made his way to his upstairs room. As he got to the stair he paused. So Syria, just so you know the library is on the first room to your right over their he points to a closed door and somewhere in there is a pile of my friends random science fiction...stuff. Feel free to help yourself to anything. I assume you can read a book just fine, this old man is going to take his long awaited nap.

Lucas then proceeded to go upstairs. And after taking off the full three piece suit he had been wearing the whole day he finally put on his night attire and took his nap.

The Orichalcos Spirit arched her eyebrows, but did not remark on Arche closing her eyes instead her only remark was,"I'll leave you a burger, from McDonalds," and with that she got up and proceeded to leave, what the woman had said about evil was quite a lot of food for thought."Ugghh... what an enigma she is, now I need to find something to entertain myself." It was slightly cold outside so she grabbed, a midnight blue scarf from one of the drones, and wrapped it around her shoulders, "How convenient it matches," she remarked to herself, the more she thought about it the mare she liked calling herself by the host's name Cynthia, better than being a nameless Orichalcos Spirit. The McDonalds was at the door, Cynthia fished through the bag until she found a salad, which was better than eating the rest of that greasy crap in the bag. She grabbed the keys for her car, and began driving down the road looking for something entertaining to do.

Victoria roared out. "AND FINALLY, THE OTHER EFFECT OF GRAPHA! BY RETURNING A DARK WORLD MONSTER I CONTROL TO MY HAND, HE MAY RISE FROM THE GRAVE!!!" A clawed fist erupted from the miasma and grabbed Beiige, dragging him back into the Gates, which swung open to allow for the monstrous draconic demon from before to stomp onto the field and let loose a terrifying roar. (2700 ATK -> 3000 ATK) "TIME TO END THIS!!!" She has 4 monsters with over 2500 ATK, and very little to stop her. Grapha, Goldd, and Reign-Beaux head after Gabriel's monsters while she herself sends a powerful blast of purple energy at Idris.

Natsu activates her Duel Disk and stares down her original self. "You want to duel me? Fine. I'll play your game. I win, you let her go. Deal?" She then adds. "However, prove to me you can defeat me without your Seal. The real Itsu would never use the card." Again, she is bluffing, but she hopes the golem will accept.

"Sireen #1, stop Tyhrria's attack!" Gabriel shouted out. "And Sireen #2, halt Grapha's attack!"

The two female luchadores nodded in reply, then dashed toward their respective targets and let loose a ear-splitting shriek. "I hope you can still hear me, Victoria, because due to the effect of my two Sireens, both you and Grapha have now become incapable of attacking this turn!"

True, this act was able to stop Tyhrria from inflicting some real Soviet damage on Idris, but he himself was not going to be so fortunate. First, Sireen #1 was struck down by Reign-Beaux, bringing Gabriel's Life Points down to 2100. Goldd was soon about to do the same to the remaining Sireen, when out of nowhere a snake-masked luchador appeared, jabbing Goldd in the side of his torso with his open palm, halting Goldd's attack momentarily.

"Lo siento, Senora Victoria," Gabriel replied, "but when you destroyed one of my Sireens, you've called forth the Climax Assailant known as Vipor! "Very well, fakEE." The golem replied, its expression constantly unnmoving like a statue, its movements like those of a doll's. "I am the ReAAL Itsssu. The real Itsu. Real beats fake, rock beats scizzors. Let's go, you faker!" Its tone ending in a strangely cheery voice,

Then, a deck of forty cards with an emerald back instead of the standard one materialized into the appendage disk that acted as the golem's deck, and five cards quickly floated over towards its free hand, before being joined by one more. That was her draw, her Draw Phase, her deck. The duel had begun.

She placed down a Spell Card. "First, I will activate Molten Transmission Field! This allows me to send Laval Magma Cannoneer and Laval Volcano Handmaiden from my Deck to the Graveyard!" A bubbling pit of magma radiating intense heat formed at her feet, and she sent two of her cards from her Deck to the Graveyard. "However, since I sent off a Laval Volcano Handmaiden, her effect activates, allowing me to send another Laval to my Graveyard!" She revealed a second Handmaiden. "And this Handmaiden has the same effect!" She then dropped a third Handmaiden into the pit. "And now, I send Laval Lakeside Lady to the Graveyard as well!" A fifth card floated down and sunk below the lava before the pit sealed back up.

"Now I activate Searing Fire Wall, banishing two Handmaidens to bring out two Laval Tokens!" She continued, and two cute fiery creatures appeared on the field (DEF 0). "However, they will not remain for long, for I tribute them to bring out Laval Judgment Lord!!!"" The two cute familars disappeared, before a large humanoid figure began to rise out of a fiery pit, with red skin and skeletal armor. (ATK 2600) "And now, with its effect, I banish my Magma Cannoneer to inflict 1000 points of damage to you!" The Judgment Lord held out its hand to Natsu, as if it were some kind of gesture, before a fiery torrent of blazing flames came out of nowhere and burned her. Although the Seal of Orichalcos hadn't been activated, somehow the realism to it remained (Natsu LP 4000 -> 3000).

"Then I will set two cards and end my turn!"

Arta walked up to Brenin. "Brenin I can't believe that your here. I mean I had hoped-" Arta's sentence was cut off as Brenin's fist collided with Arta's jaw. Arta took a step back as he regained balance. "What the hell was that for?".

"Do you think your life is so worthless that you can throw it away on a whim?!"

Arta became angry at Brenin's statement. "I do not calously throw away my life! I was saving the life of another and-" Arta was cut off again.

"Do you think that matters in the long run!? Tell me, what would I have told your family when I discovered you corpse under a fallen building?"

Arta shut his mouth and went silent for a moment. "I-I do not know." Arta's head hung low.

"Don't you dare try and give me that 'I don't know' crap! If you wont listen to reason then listen to my Deck!" Brenin activated his duel disk. "Fight me Arta and win back your right to call yourself a true Greek!"

With fire in his eyes Arta activated his duel disk. "Fine, if you want me too!"

The two of them spoke simultaneously "DUEL!"

"Russell, what is with you? C'mon, man, snap out of it!" Tom Seda pleaded with a zoned-out Russell Oxford, trying to shake him out of his trance.

Russell nearly punched Seda out before realizing where he was, as if his mind had wandered off elsewhere and his body was reacting out of instinct. "Where's Atsuko?!" was the first thing he blurted out, remembering what had happened a few minutes ago.

"Calm down, Russ," CJ Brat replied. "Getting frantic over this isn't going to help--!"

""CALM DOWN"?!" Now Russell was furious. "I just let a little girl get taken away by some... "statue-creature", and you want me to CALM DOWN?!!" Before Russell could continue bellowing out his frustrations, he received a slap right across the face from Carla.

"We don't "want" you to calm down; we "need" you to," Carla replied as sternly as possible. "Like what your friend here was saying, you're not going to be able to help anyone without a clear head. You get what I'm saying, sweetheart?" she added, her tone shifting to one more tender, reassuring. Meanwhile, her mind was worried about another factor: "Of course, if that little brat recognizes me from before, she'll most likely blab to everyone about who I'm with, and my plan'll be ruined!"

"Well, then," the voice of Sayer resonated within Carla's mind, "we'll just have to make it so that she doesn't recognize you. Simple as that."

Russell slowly sobered up, his face now expressing regret. "I just... I just feel like I failed her in some way," he said to the group. "It's my fault that she's...."

"Russell, don't kick yourself over this," Shannon McKowen said. "We'll just have to find her again. I mean, they couldn't have gone too far, right?"

Russell nodded somberly, sniffling a bit, before he once again went into yet another trance-like state.

"Oy, how many times is he gonna be doing this?" CJ sighed.

"They're in a park nearby," a voice told Russell. "Just follow her presence...."

"I... I think I know where they went," Russell slowly said once he got out of his trance. Without further warning, he made a mad dash in the direction of the park, hoping that he wasn't too late.

Victoria frowned as her attacks were stopped, and her monsters were called back. "I END..." She growled angrily.

Victoria: 6000 LP
Hand: 2 (Beiige and Nahvii)
Monsters: Reign-Beaux (2800 ATK|LV7), Grapha (3000 ATK|LV8), Goldd (1300 ATK|LV5), Tyrrhia (3300 ATK|RNK5|0 XM)
Spells/Traps: Gates (Field)
Graveyard: A lot of cards.
Banished: Qhamarrinh

Natsu grimaced at the attack, then drew her card. "First, I will Normal Summon Magnetic Warrior in Attack Mode!" A man with a strange helmet that had various mechanisms attached to it, a black jumpsuit with more gadgets and gizmos affixed to its exterior, and a giant horseshoe magnet with a cord going to a device on his back came onto the field. (1500 ATK|LV4) "And with him, I can bring out Fleur Synchron from my Deck!" A cute flower-like robot was drawn from Natsu's deck by the magnet. (400 ATK|LV2|Tuner) "I shall Synchro Summon with the two of them!" Fleur Synchron rose into the air and turned into a pair of green rings, which Magnetic Warrior entered, becoming 4 stars. "Technology progresses across space and time! Leave the confines of gravity and soar to new heights! Synchro Summon, take flight, Gear Warrior!"
From the Synchro array glides an olive green-armored warrior that evokes memories of Yusei's Synchro Monster Turbo Warrior, but unlike the red-armored car-themed warrior, Gear Warrior resembles an airplane, with a torso resembling the nose of one, complete with a propeller, an aviator's cap, goggles, and scarf covering its masked face, arms with gauntlets beneath a pair of metal wings, each of which has its own propeller, and a pair of legs ending in wheels (2500 ATK|LV6).
"And now, the special effect of my Gear Warrior! When he is Synchro Summoned, he sends a Warrior from my Deck to the Graveyard, so why not Lonestar Warrior?" The airplane-like warrior starts its propellers and, against all laws of aerodynamics, lifts off into the air, sending a card from Natsu's deck into her Graveyard. "Also, Fleur Synchron summons a Level 2 or lower monster from my hand, so here comes Fortress Warrior!" A massive stone creature holding up a helicopter pad with four arms materializes from a flower, and holds the helicopter pad up as a shield (1200 DEF|LV2)
Magnetic Warrior
Fleur Synchron
Gear Warrior
Lonestar Warrior
Fortress Warrior
Inside of the armor, once Brian's head was enclosed, the Greek symbol for Theta flashed in front of him, followed by Eta, then San, Lambda, Rho, and Kappa. All 6 symbols hovered in front of the screen as a feminine voice, one that wasn't Ringmistress', but sounded similar to Natsu's, spoke into his ear. "T.E.S.La.R.K. Armor online." The armor, designed for a female, constricted around him, tightening to fit his frame as it made adjustment to fit his physique. The cleavage window in the front closed up while the fake hair in the back receded, though he could now move, and the view in front of his was shown through the helmet, along with a heads-up display.

"Bueno," Gabriel said once Victoria had ended her turn. "Now, before Idris' turn begins, I'd like to remind you of my "Masked Bravador - Duende's" special ability; since you had destroyed him this turn while he was Set in my Spell & Trap Card Zone, he can then work his magic during the End Phase, by equipping his mask onto one of your monsters. Now, I believe I'll target... your Reign-Beaux!"

At Gabriel's declaration, the wandering spirit of Duende began to circle around Reign-Beaux's head, uttering a demonic incantation as a white, skull-like mask materialized on the Overlord's face. Reign-Beaux then proceeded to make his way over to the Chosen Ones' side of the field, taking his place next to Vipor and Silver Sentinel.

"Now, while Duende is equipped to a monster," Gabriel continued, "control of that monster is then switched to me, and is also treated as a "Masked Bravador" as well. In addition, the equipped monster gains 100 Attack Points for every "Masked Bravador" in my Graveyard. With that, I'll leave this to my partners, until I myself can make my next move, if need be,," he concluded while giving his comrades a reassuring nod.
Masked Bravador - Duende (poltergeist)

DARK/Lv 4/Warrior/1200 ATK/1600 DEF

You can Set this card face-down in your Spell & Trap Card Zone as a Spell Card. During the End Phase of the turn that this face-down card in your Spell & Trap Card Zone is destroyed by your opponent's card effect and sent to the Graveyard: target 1 face-up monster your opponent controls; take control of that target and equip it with this card (from your Graveyard). A monster equipped with this card is treated as a "Masked Bravador" monster and gains 100 ATK for every "Masked Bravador" monster in your Graveyard. If this card treated as an Equip Card (by this effect) is destroyed by a card effect; return control of the equipped monster to your opponent.

"You do realize you're use one of my weakest decks, right, faker?" The golem mocked, though in truth it couldn't have possibly known such a thing. It was simply guessing, messing with Natsu's mind, aided by the fact that its voice was now fully replicating the voice of Itsu. Whether the mindplaying worked or not, it didn't care. "But anyway, go on ahead and continue with your turn. Judgment Lord is still much more powerful than your Gear Warrior. Let's see what youuuUCAANSnn do."

The golem paused for a moment, Atsuko still suspended in midair.

"Faker." It stated, as if to affirm to the little seven-year-old above who was her true mother.

"Since you seem incapable of making wise choices I will go first. First I activate the spell card Kingdom of Paragons." No sooner had he spoken than a gleaming white city built on top of a glass still ocean came into being, as though it was simply covered by an invisibility cloak.
"This card gives me the nifty effect of allowing me to add one Paragon monster from my deck to my hand if one of my Paragon monsters would be destroyed by card effect. All be it the monster has to be the same level or one level lower. Next I play the spell Virtues of a Paragon. As payment for activating this card I send one light Paragon monster from my hand to the graveyard. And since it was a level 4 monster I can special summon it. So arise Aurora Paragon!" An impressive rainbow colored aurora appeared right above the heads of both Brenin and Arta. Out of the aurora descended an angelic being who looked to be wearing armor made out of amber colored glass.
"I am not done though! Next I discard two of my Paragon monsters to draw two cards from the top of my deck." After drawing his two cards Brenin smirked. "Alright now I normal summon Paragon Merchant." The man appeared sitting on a cart pulled by an ox. At first glance he did not look to be anything special however he did have a large quantity of trade goods in his cart.

Victoria suddenly realizes that her turns are numbered, due to the only cards in her hand being Nahvii, Ranger of Dark World, and Beiige, Vanguard of Dark World. With Yuri's Critias fusion possessing Tyrrhia's effect, she can gain a massive advantage. The demon sorceress reluctantly took To Arms from Yuri.

Natsu smiles back at her counterpart. "One of your weakest decks? Then why does it feel like you poured so much time and energy into every combo, every move, every Monster, Spell, or Trap that was selected out of an infinite pool of cards? You built this deck with your love. I can feel it. And I will show you the power of your love! Gear Warrior has another effect! I can banish a Warrior in my Graveyard, and then increase the ATK of another Warrior by the ATK of the banished Warrior until the End Phase! Invention Shift!" Gear Warrior blasted some spare parts into the air and started to assemble a gun from the mechanisms left over from Magnetic Warrior, eventually creating a humming gun with a giant horseshoe magnet on the end that was crackling with electricity. (2500 ATK -> 4000 ATK) "Gear Warrior, attack Judgment Lord! Gizmo Blaster!" Gear Warrior aimed with its magnet gun and fired off a green ball of electrical energy.

The golem did not reply at her question, but merely did something that might be a rocky equivalent to a scoff.

"All you strive for is in vain, faker, and I will show you with my very own selection of cards why that deck is weak." It stated in a monotone. "Trap card activate, Mirror Force. This allows me upon activation to destroy all Attack monsters you control, and conveniently your Gear Warrior happens to be among them. Go."

As the green orb closed in on Judgment Lord, it was suddenly blocked by an invisible forcefield, and upon contact, it bounced off and turned into a laser, redirected back at Natsu and threatening to get rid of her monster.

After swiping Nahvii from Victoria's cold hands, Yuri proceeded with her turn. She had to make a push to destroy those monster, and she also had to be able to protect Idris from taking a blow from Grapha when it would (highly likely) return to the field after being destroyed. There was a problem though; even if she got rid of The Gates of Dark World, Thyrria would still be too strong for X-Saber Brink to take down, and that was the only monster that was capable of attacking more than once, something that would be necessary.

"Now, I animate Saber Abyss Dragon's effect, allowing me to draw 2 cards at the cost of 1000 Life Points, and discard my decently admired Nahvii, thereby animating her effect and banishing your Gates of Dark World," Yuri declared, continuing on after examining her cards, "And now... I tune my Level 7 Saber Abyss Dragon with my Level 1 X-Saber Tiurcer to Synchro Summon X-Saber Brink in Attack! This in turn allows me to Special Summon XX-Saber Crusader in Attack, which I then sacrifice to enable Brink to attack once again this turn. Also, since I sacrificed Crusader, I can banish it and draw an additional two cards."

The next card she drew wasn't very helpful at this time, but the one that followed, XX-Saber Steelknight, was something that she wasn't expecting to come across. Victoria cried out in rage as her Gates dissolved from Nahvii's shot, bringing down her monsters in power. (Tyrrhia: 3300 ATK -> 3000 ATK) (Grapha: 3000 ATK -> 2700 ATK) (Goldd: 1300 ATK -> 1000 ATK) She then sees her entire field get wiped out, and when Tyrrhia is brought down, all that is left is Victoria, who reforms her dark cloak and weakly stands up, but it quickly assaulted by the rest of the attacks until she has nothing left on her field. (Victoria: 3000 LP) She looked at the only two cards in her hand in despair, knowing she was finished.

Natsu cursed her own stupidity as she set down two cards, hating the fact that she ignored what was an obvious trap. Maybe this creature was right. Maybe she wasn't qualified...No...she had to stop thinking like that. She had to do this. For Atsuko's sake. She looked up to the golem and stated. "I end my turn."

"Yes! Excellent work, Yuri!" Gabriel cheered on his comrade, glad that they were finally making dents in Victoria's armor. In spite of this, however, one other thought was bothering him: "Still, we all know that she has one Dark World monster in her hand; that's all she requires to bring back her Grapha, and Idris is still defenseless. True, my Sireen can prevent one of her monsters from attacking, but there's always the possibility of her drawing something that could Summon a second Dark World monster. I just hope Idris can survive to make her next move...."

Russell had eventually made his way to the park, where Natsu and the statue were now dueling it out. Taking cover behind a nearby tree, he took quick glances between the Duel and the floating crystal that imprisoned Atsuko, taking care not to allow himself to be noticed by the statue. "Dammit... now what?" he thought to himself, biting his lower lip as he stressed over his options. "Should I wait for the Duel to end, or just charge in now and grab Atsuko?"

~~~~~
Meanwhile, back at the Orichalcos throne room, Sayer slipped in, without a sound, without a word, and walked up to the throne of Orichalcum where Arche was slouched in. "And how have you been... Madame Archetype?" he asked, seemingly unused to addressing the leader by such a title.
That look on Victoria's face seemed to tell Yuri enough. She'd done it. Now, it was just a matter of setting up so that she could protect Idris. After all, knowing that Beiige was still in the hand meant that it would be moronic not to expect a return from Grapha. Thankfully, Victoria's unpredictability would likely have gone down with the Gates of Dark World card, unless of course she could draw a card that would allow to draw multiple, such as Advance Force or Card Destruction.
"Now, I start my second Main Phase with De-Synchro, allowing me to defuse Brink and Special Summon Tiurcer and Saber Abyss Dragon," Yuri declared, "I then make an Overlay Network with Saber Abyss Dragon and Steelknight. Victoria's hands were shaking as she drew her card. It wasn't anything she could use. She simply sighed and placed down her monster. "I shall Normal Summon Beiige, Vanguard of Dark World, then return him to my hand to Special Summon Grapha, Dragon Lord of Dark World from my Graveyard." The bony spearman reappeared, but was quickly engulfed by black miasma that allowed for the skeletal dragon demon to emerge once more from the darkness and roar at its foes. (2700 ATK|LV8) "I shall set two facedown cards, and end my turn." It was pointless for her to attack, as Gabriel could simply block it with his monster. Furthermore, she had nothing else to use. One of her facedowns was the card she received in Exchange, leaving her hand open, save for Beiige. She simply raised her hands and whispered. "Finish me."
Idris found herself breathing a sigh of relief, it seemed the odds had finally turned in their favour and their opponent was finally on the defensive. The ironic part was it was only Idris’ second turn and it already felt like this duel had been going on forever. If she could finish this now they could finally leave this place.
“My turn,” Idris announced drawing a new card from her deck.
The downside was she only had 2 cards in her hand right now, a fact she intended to correct.
“I activate the Spell Card Allure of Darkness,” she declared “This allows me to draw 2 cards from my deck so long as I remove 1 DARK Attribute monster from my hand.”
Idris drew two additional cards and selected one of them.
“And the card I’m removing is Cyber Ouroboros,” she explained “Which in turn allows me to Discard my Emperor of Prophecy and draw another card.”
The Cyber Ouroboros in her hand disintegrated in a display of light and she sent her Emperor card to the grave, allowing her to draw another additional card.
“And since I now have 5 monsters in my Graveyard I can play this,” Idris continued, revealing Pot of Avarice in her hand “Meaning I can return them to my deck and draw an additional 2 cards.”
Idris’ The Tricky, Strength of Prophecy, Empress of Prophecy, Effect Veiler and Emperor of Prophecy slid out of her Graveyard and she returned them to her deck, the deck then shuffled itself and she drew 2 more cards, bringing her hand up to three. She looked down at the cards she’d drawn, hoping all that effort would pay off.
“Here goes then,” Idris began “I Summon Elemental HERO Prisma.”
A monster apparently made up entirely of polished crystals emerged on Idris’ field. (ATK: 1700)
“And by activating his effect I’m allowed to send 1 monster from my Deck to my Graveyard that’s listen on a fusion monster and Prisma’s name becomes the same as the monster I just sent,” Idris explained, taking a monster from her deck “So I’ll send my High Priestess of Prophecy to the Graveyard.”
As Idris sent her card to the grave an image of her High Priestess became reflected on Prisma’s body.
“And I’ll follow up with this, The Eye of Timaeus!” Idris declared.
With a mighty roar Timaeus’ dragon form emerged from behind her, towering over Idris and glaring across the field at Grapha.
“When Timaeus is played he instantly fuses with one other monster I control,” Idris explained “So I’ll fuse him together with Prisma, who is currently treated as High Priestess of Prophecy, in order to summon Erudite Junon Dragon!”
On command Timaeus and Prisma where both sucked into a vortex and merged together, a new creature emerging from within. It was a great white, serpentine dragon with the High Priestess of Prophecy riding on its head, an open book in her palm. (ATK: 3000)
“Next I’ll activate the Spellbook of Secrets,” Idris said “Allowing me to take Spellbook of Wisdom from my Deck and add it to my hand. And that activates my dragon’s own effect, whenever a Spellbook Spell Card is activated, I can destroy 1 card on the field, and I choose Grapha!”
The High Priestess raised her arms, magic runes floating about her before she unleashed a spell towards Grapha, eliminating it from the field.
“And that leaves you open,” Idris declared “Erudite Junon Dragon, attack directly!”
Victoria didn't respond to the summoning of the mighty dragon Timaeus, or his fusion with the prismatic duplicate of the sorceress to create a massive white dragon with a priestess riding on its back. She didn't blink as the new Erudite Junon Dragon disintegrated her only defense into its component molecules. And she didn't even flinch as the dragon attacked her directly and ended this long and drawn-out duel. (Victoria: 0 LP) She simply summoned up a throne made of shadows to sit down on, looking at her opponents. "Congratulations." She replied softly after a few tense moments. "You won. Now, for your prize." She snapped her fingers, and three crystals emerged from the ground in front of each duelist, the bluish-green one in front of Idris, while a black crystal appeared in front of Yuri, and before Gabriel stood a red crystal. "These are Duel Blades, designed to help you better synchronize with your dragons and provide a handy weapon against the Three Swordsmen. Your dragons will be able to channel their own expertise of sword-fighting through the blade, so no need to worry about training. And they can function as Duel Disks." As she said this, the crystals started to fracture, and eventually, they broke open to reveal a trio of swords, each one with a blade made of the same crystal they were formed out of. The guard of the blade was similar to a rapier's, but larger and built to not only serve as a deck slot and a Graveyard slot, but also create a holographic display of the duelist's Life Points. "Now, I bet you all are wondering why I am giving you these weapons. The truth is that I never intended to destroy your world. This was merely a test to see whether you were worthy. After all, you are facing off against foes who fully intend to rend this planet you live on asunder. They no longer care for the well-being of any of its inhabitants. You three must rise to the occasion, because the stakes are so incredibly high. I was testing to see if you would work together, and while the three of you are strong, you have to learn to be a team, otherwise the Three Swordsmen, who are a team, will destroy you, and this Earth will fall."
"I want you to promise me something." She told them with a grimace upon her face. "I want you to make sure the-" Victoria suddenly started speaking in inhuman tongues with a strange echoing effect to her voice that indicated the language she was speaking was not a language that should even be spoken, let alone transcribed or translated. "-gets what's coming to her! How DARE she imprison MY elder sister in that giant rock! If my hands weren't tied in this conflict, I would blast that hunk of crystal until there was nothing but dust, but I am unable to." She grins and gets up. "You have no idea what I am talking about, do you?"
She begins to slowly circle them. "You see, mortals, Itsu has many powerful allies. To many, she is Itsu of Solace, the Firebrand, the Phoenix Queen, the Tamer of Legendary Dragons, the Traveler of the Sun. But these allies have not responded to her distress beacon because they have been told otherwise. Elements of her plethora of potential responders have convinced almost all of her friends to wait. They have deluded themselves into thinking that Itsu had a plan. That my dearest elder sister WANTED to be absorbed by the Orichalcos. That she has set into motion the events that shall save herself, and by simply waiting it out, everything shall be right again."
"I disagree. I have known her for countless years. Itsu is not perfect. She can make mistakes. And I believe she underestimated her foe. So, against the will of my colleagues out among spacetime, I am covertly interfering by granting you this power. Now go and save her. And take that monstrous b***h down while you're at it, before she makes my niece into a duplicate of herself."
She faded back into the shadows, and all three bearers of the Legendary Dragons suddenly felt themselves falling as the world around them turned to black...
As soon as Natsu had ended her turn, the golem began its own, drawing a card that put her total hand count to three, and then used up all three of them. Strangely enough, although its mouth was moving, no sound seemed to be coming out, so there was no way for the Itsu clone to have any idea what exactly the golem was doing. Apparently, somehow its volume had been decreased to zero.
Monsters on the field appeared in flurries, both new monsters and monsters Natsu had earlier destroyed, before being engulfed in fiery Synchro Summons that brought out even more powerful monsters, and with these monsters both of her set cards were destroyed and bounced back to her hand each. And then, before she could even fully comprehend what exactly the golem had done, three powerful Laval monsters opposed her...
"...and that, foolish faker, is the true power of Itsu." The green crystal statue thing stated, though whether it meant the ability to cheat by not declaring out loud its moves or its moves themselves, it was hard to tell. "You are pitiful. You are not even a good clone, you're a sucky clone. And do you know why?"
Its tone becoming more and more humane, to such an extent that it could almost be called a she, the Orichalcum Itsu gestured for all her monsters to attack. First came her two Synchro monsters, which burned up poor Natsu. Granted, the clone was a powerful AKI Prime with the ability of regeneration, so there shouldn't be any problem...however, it didn't change the fact that they had pinned her to the ground. Somehow, Seal of Orichalcos or not, the monsters were physical.
Then Laval Judgment Lord prepared its hand, like a blazing cannon, walking up to the trapped Natsu, preparing to fully incinerate her in a way that not even an AKI Prime could escape out of...!
The golem gestured up to poor Atsuko, trapped and suffering within the crystal.
"Itsu Fudo can always rise above danger and save the day. When her daughter is threatened right before her very eyes, she WILL save her like the multiversal troubleshooter she is, even if the one who opposes her is a distorted copy of herself." It lectured. "But if you cannot save an innocent little child, if you cannot save what is technically your own daughter before your very eyes, then you are not and shall never be Itsu Fudo. You do not even deserve to be called a faker, because you are just that pathetic. THEREFORE!"
Then the blazing fireball forming in front of Judgment Lord's hand was aimed at Natsu, and...disappeared?
Instead, it flicked its finger and a small wisp of flame hit her in the face.
Natsu LP: 0
"You have failed to defeat me and save the girl. However, I shall spare you today, stranger." The golem said, no longer acknowledging the clone as a faker but as an entirely different person. Green light began to envelop the statue, Atsuko, and Yuuto, spinning about them. "Remember this; do not pretend to be Itsu Fudo, do not try to become Itsu Fudo, and do not ever delude yourself or others into thinking that you are Itsu Fudo in any form whatsoever. Remember your failure today as proof that you are not and never will be Itsu Fudo. The only reason I have chosen to spare you is because you are but a mere child who knows nothing, not even worthy of being called the faker of Itsu Fudo."
Then the green light thickened, before bursting, and all of a sudden all three objects of Orichalcum disappeared. The golem, Atsuko, and Yuuto, all gone.
That had been perhaps the one and only moment in all of history that the golem had acknowledged, or at the very least implied, that it itself wasn't Itsu Fudo.
----------------------------
"Greetings, my dear Sayer." boomed the voice of Archetype Earth herself, champion of Earth and herald of Faust, an infinitesimal contradiction that Itsu Fudo had but the bad luck to come across. "I have been well. According to that possessed Cynthia brat from earlier, the three Legendary Knights have come back, but they're weakened from their battle with the Great Leviathan only decades before. They will never be able to gain their full strength as the Knight of Destiny back. So I've deemed them not much of a threat."
Then she closed her eyes, before opening them again. There was a slight hint of irritation in her eyes, human eyes as the cloaking device had been fixed.
"I've discovered a slight flaw in my own plans." She stated suddenly, clenching her fists. "The souls my cult collects are enough to pull in Faust, but at this rate it will crash into the Earth and ruin everything. I cannot accept that. I had been planning to revive Atlantis as a magnet that could 'repel' it and stabilize it in space as a moon, but even then, that will not stop the comet from crashing down. The return of our beloved city of Atlantis will only slow it down."
Then she began to tap her fingers on her throne of Orichalcum, in rhythm.
"Perhaps if I harness the power of the Spirit World though, I can fix this predicament..." The superhuman creature mused.
Suddenly, a green flash of light came near Sayer, and there the golem, as well as a trapped Atsuko and Yuuto each in their own crystals, appeared. An amused grin formed on Archetype Earth's face, a grin that gave her acting away as it was filled with evil. She ignored the golem of Itsu Fudo, but her gaze moved to the two trapped humans. Then she rose from her throne.
"This boy, descendent of the nameless Pharaoh, will solve that predicament." She stated. "And this girl, daughter of Itsu Fudo herself, shall be my successor."
The cloaked woman walked down from the steps leading to her throne, and towards the Atsuko's crystal. Then, with her amazing super-strength, she picked up the crystal and began to carry it out of the throne room, and towards an operation room that had already been conveniently prepared...
The torture that the girl was suffering within the crystal had disappeared for now, but worse, much worse awaited her within that ominous room.
"You seem a bit disappointed, Gabriel," Hermos spoke to the luchador, taking a closer look at his Chosen One. "The three of you were able to prevail, so I'm a bit confused by your body language."
"Well," Gabriel spoke up as he took up his new sword, his voice revealing a slight, disappointed-yet-humble tone, "I didn't get to use you in the Duel. I even had a possible play set up...." He then gave a slight shrug and a small smile. "Of course, I'll have plenty of opportunities in the future. There is always next time." He then turned to face Idris and Yuri. "Excellent work, you two. It was an honor to fight alongside you."
~~~~~

"No, WAIT!!!" Russell left his hiding spot and scrambled toward the floating crystal holding Atsuko in place. Unfortunately, the golem disappeared in a flash of green light, taking Atsuko and Yuuto with it. Russell tripped and fell to the grass just as he reached Natsu's side. For the second time that night, Russell failed to rescue Atsuko, and this time, she may be gone for good.

"... dammit," he muttered under his breath, pounding his fist on the ground. His eyes began to water as he continued slamming his fist harder and harder on the ground, his voice growing louder with each hit; "Dammit, dammit, DAMMIT, DAMMIT, DAMMIT, DAMMIT DAMMIIIIIIT!!!" The hit that accompanied that last word was enough to shatter the ground around him.
