Thranduil
Arta didn't even blink as he watched his King become engulfed in light. As the light faded an empty space was left where his Tyrant once stood. "Good move, but sadly not good enough. I can assume that you are done since your Scientist is not strong enogh to kill anything of mine. My turn, since I activated Reckless Greed I can't draw, however that is a non issue. By sending my Memories of Ozymandias to the grave I can draw one card for each counter on it. Right now I count four." Arta drew four cards from his deck. "So," Gabriel said to Natsu, "you wish to know our reason for... living...." Gabriel and Russell to a brief moment to think of their reasons. After a moment, Gabriel went first: "I live my life as a way to express gratitude to those who have guided me through life, and gave me a second chance," he said, referring to his foster parents who run the orphanage. Russell then spoke up: "My reason? I wish to live my life to the fullest. Go everywhere, do everything, stuff like that." Russell gave a hollow laugh, shaking his head. "I know, it sounds a bit shallow or selfish. Truth is...," he said, reaching his hand to the dogtags around his neck, "... I live... to make my father proud. He may no longer be with me physically... but I know he's always watching me." ~~~~~ Carla gave a polite nod and a smile to the four war men who had ordered the drinks, but as soon as they turned away, she immediately made a gagging gesture, rolling her eyes. "Really, I just don't see why guys do that," she said to her two teammates in a hushed voice, picking up one of the drinks (a sangria) and taking a sip. "It's not like Syria or I will be giving any of them the time of day." After seeing Lucas take one of his Atlantean spoils and fusing it with his watch using the Orichalcos Stone's power, Carla then had a similar idea; she took out one of the bracelets that she had obtained and held her Stone against it. This resulted in the Stone becoming embedded into the bracelet, also changing its overall design. "Well, Arche did say it could be put into a bracelet. Now, let's see what else we can make you do...." She looked deeply into the Stone, concentrating a single thought. The stone's color actually changed from an ocean green-blue to a bright rose color. "Well, this is interesting."

This was it: Yuri was going to have to turn the corner at speed, something she never thought she had to do. galesonic
Kori managed to recover from his ordeal with the Orichalcos. His mind was clear from the influence as he had hoped it would eventually had if he suppressed its lust for souls.Though, it was stronger than before, surely a work of Archetype trying to toy with him into using the Orichalcos and again, it was repelled for the time being. He felt a strong jolt in his head as he heard the laugh of the Orichalcos. "Oh no. It seems the Orichalcos has taken another soul." Kori said to himself as he walked down the road. "I've got to find this dropship and fast. Maybe They could help me get this annoying blight of the Orichalcos out of my head." he then winced as the laugh grew loude after hearing what Kori was saying. "Hmph. How rude." Merci
"I throw down the last card in my hand and end my turn!" Yuuto declared, inserting a facedown into the Spell and Trap card zone in his Duel Disk. On the field proceeded to materialize yes, a facedown card. He had successfully brought his opponent's Life Points down to a mere hundred. Then, his Mirage Knight faded away into mist, leaving his field all but open, for it could only stay on the field for a turn before returning. "Your move! Continue your turn!" Premier Alexander Romanov
Lion Tamer, now the one piloting One For The Money, made sure to keep the Pelican going at the same speed as the GTO before lowering the magnetic clamps from the rear section of the ship. The robotic arms slowly maneuvered themselves into position, reconfiguring their clamps before locking themselves into the wheels in one swift mechanical motion no human could properly time, letting the clamps rotate with the rest of the wheels as the magnetic effect took hold. The arms raised the car above the asphalt as Lion Tamer gave power to the thruster nacelles, sending the dropship, car attached tightly, up into the cold night sky. Natsu considered this for a few moments before asking simply. "What should I live for?" Pandora, meanwhile, was sound asleep in the back room, having found a comfy leather couch to rest on. All of the healing had left her drained, and the poor posthuman was exhausted. She slept happily, dreaming of better times with her parents. Love of Ghibli
Lucas was slightly annoyed youngsters were always so annoying to deal with. Their loud parties and drinking games...wait a minute games. Games just might be the answer to this new found problem. The men quickly noticed as Carla picked up and drank one of their drinks. For some odd reason this was perceived as a sign to come over and get further acquainted. By the four men had made it over to the booth they actually realized Lucas was there. Seeing him as some kind of obstacle the males tried to prove themselves to the girls. Hey old man why don't you go over and file for Medicaid or somethin' Lucas rubbing his forehead in annoyance. Ugh I have not had enough liquor. He let out a deep sigh. Okay childr...gentlemen lets settle this with a game? Or you just leave! Another one of the youths clearly drunk tried to throw a punch at Lucas across the table. Unfortunately all that was heard was a loud scream of pain and anguish. Lucas stabbed the guys wrist with a fork and it was in their pretty tight. I wish I was young enough to waste other peoples time. As he was wincing in pain Lucas was looking at his two guest non-chalant. To answer your question Syria men usually offer drinks to strangers when they want to get to know them. Its the beginning of what we call courting which is a discussion for another time. Hey, you son of a .. said the first one truly angry Hush you Lucas interrupted as he was done listening talking. Now children my offer for a game still stands. Or we can discuss more about why you brought fist to a knife fight. His gaze was dead pan as if hinting the correct option that could end with them having lives. So the young men reluctantly accepted. A couple minutes later a small crowd had came over the table to watch the game but it seems as if it wasn't the ever popular duel monsters it was regular cards the four gentlemen, one with a splint on his arm, and Lucas each had a card in front of them face down. Now guys remember to say the magic words. Of course everyone joined in for this. I ACTIVATE THE SEAL OF ORICHALCOS!! everyone in the lounged yelled like some sort of festival. Lucas chuckled a little bit seeing as that bold delivery worked and like they said the seal activated surrounding the entire table. Then at the same time all four gentlemen flipped over the cards in front of them. Yes! Queen of Spades Better King of Diamonds Hmmm Jack of Clubs And I win Ace of Hearts Lucas last to say his and he flipped over the 3 of diamonds. The four men were laughing victoriously and Lucas glanced over to his teammates and gave a slight mischievous eyebrow raise before turning back. OH look I win. The boys paused as they checked each of their cards and his. Didn't you know this an odd man out game? The card that is most different wins. The crowd nodded at Lucas' explanation then the boys started getting flustered at the concept of them loosing. It was at this moment Lucas' eyes glowed for a second as the men seemed to all loose consciousness at the same time. Lucas put his hand under the table and it came up with four new cards. His teammates would know what they were. As the crowd was getting confused and slightly worried about the young men Lucas felt the need to intervene. Well since you lost you can leave now. Like zombies the four soulless corpses got up and walked out of the underground lounge. In little time everyone went back to living their own lives. Now that was entertaining. Lucas said as the waiter came over with appetizers and drinks. TotalObelisk
Syria watched curiously as Carla followed Lucas' example and somehow merged her stone with the Atlantean bracelet she'd recieved from the ritual, Syria considered doing so as well but didn't have any jewelry of her own to use. As she was thinking it over the group of men that the waiter had pointed out made their way over to their table, a strong smell of alcahol following in their wake. Syria looked up from the stone resting in her palm to look at the men in turn, giving each of them a rather blank and bemused stare. Her expression didn't even shift when one of them, trying to start a fight, wound up with a fork embedded in his wrist, Syria merely stared at the red liquid seeping out from the wound, remind her that humans where pretty much entirely organic, she briefly considered perhaps discecting one to see how it worked. "Oh, I see," She replied to Lucas' explanations "So it is some form of mating ritual then?" She turned her attention back to her stone as the men sat down for their 'game', Syria knowing full well what Lucas was planning as her own stone was giving off a slight glow. It was a short game to say the least but it satisfied the seal's conditions. Soon after the waiter returned again, this time with the drinks they'd actually ordered, Syria took hers and spent a minute or two staring at it before sipping some experimentally, it tasted rather odd but was far from unpleasant. She returned her attention back to her own stone, considering the possibilities it presented. She noted that both of her companions had chosen to merge theirs with pieces of jewelry, non-organic materials, which left Syria wondering something. So she decided to experiment, she closed her eyes and raised the stone to her head, pressing it against her forehead lightly, the stone glowed brightly and seemed to sink in and smooth itself out, becoming a perfect oval set into her head, forming a perfect triangle with both her eyes. Once it was done Syria opened her eyes again and ran her fingers along the stone now imbedded in her temple. "How curious," she muttered to herself, as if imbedding a stone into your own head was as trivial as finding some loose change beneath the sofa. Kingdom Xathers
"And good riddance," Carla muttered as the four bodies were puppeteered out of the bar. "God, that was pretty stupid of me," she added, referring to her act of "accepting" the guys' drinks. "None of those guys were my type, anyways. I can't stand drunken a$$holes. "Still, that was a nice little show you put on, Lucas," she said as their waiter brought in the appetizers and drinks. "Of course, I didn't think it was possible to play the Seal without anyone else noticing. That should prove very useful." She once again looked at her own Stone, still modified into the rose-color that Carla forced it into. Carla then reached over to grab a potato skin when she caught sight of Syria from the corner of her eye, having actually fused her Stone into the middle of her forehead. "What the hell, kid?" Carla blurted out in shock. "If you needed something to put that stone in, I would've lent you one of my bracelets." A thought then ran through Carla's mind, imagining if she herself had done the same thing. She concluded that a Stone embedded into her own forehead wouldn't've looked that good for her... although it did fit rather well for Syria, Carla admitted to herself. ~~~~~ Gabriel gave a brief sigh at Natsu's question. "I'm afraid that is not for anyone else to say," he replied, placing a reassuring hand on the girl's shoulder. "Your reason for living is for you to decide. I'm sure you'll find it."
a bad post
Cynthia walked the streets of Detroit, looking for something to do, and then she remembered she knew a guy who owned an underground bar. He refused to give her alcohol, but would always make her something special whenever she came in, because she acted like an angel around him. He was nice to her so she was nice back actually offering to sweep his floors on Thursdays. She hadn't seen him in about a week, would he be angry on her for skipping out on him, who knows, but she might as well check on him. As she neared the bar, four guys looking zombified came from the direction of the bar. "Okay, what the heck?" puzzled Cynthia continued on her way to the bar. She reached and turned the corner, and saw Lucas, Syria, and the woman in red,"oh crap,"and Cynthia spun around the corner hoping to avoid notice. Love of Ghibli
Lucas was busy chuckling at Carla's folly for though it was a flawed move it did allow him to test a theory. He might as well let the girls in on the true joke. What's really funny is that I made that game up on the spot. In fact there were no rules, whatever card I got I was just going to say I won and see what happened. The reason why everyone went along with my little charade is because we're all friends here. I, and about ten other people, provided the start-up money for my friend Micheal so of course people are going to side with me of some unruly youngsters. But what is truly interesting...he said as he looked at his Orichalcos studded watch...is that the seal recognized a loss when there was a contest with no structure or rules. It just makes me think what is a loss? I remember getting a couple of souls simply because my opponent drew a really bad hand and said they just assumed they lost. I didn't even have to work for the soul and even with these kids just now they didn't truly loose because they never truly played a game they could win, but even though they hemmed and hawed about it they still acknowledged that they lost and therefore the seal took their souls. Very interesting indeed. I wonder how the ancient Atlanteans dealt with such a loophole? He chuckled at his little wax philosophic speech their as it reminded him of one of his favorite lines from V for Vendetta. This vichyssoise of verbiage veers most verbose. He chuckled again as he prepared to dine on potato skins as well. Of course he caught the smell of sweat, shame, and mediocrity walk into the bar, yet it was familiar he looked up to witness a familiar face. The stripper had arrived. Oh! he said with a slight shock that the stripper knew of this place. I wonder if she's potty trained yet.
Kingdom Xathers
"Oh, well, that's something!" Carla replied to Lucas' hypothesis to his experiment. "So really, the Seal can steal a soul if the loser acknowledges their defeat, or at least believe they can't go on?" She then went deep in thought as she took a bite of her potato skin, remembering back to her Duel with Zodinu. "So then, if Zodinu had already acknowledged his defeat, why didn't the Seal take his soul then...?" Then it hit her; she had kept the Duel going to torture Zodinu slowly and, had she not complied with Zodinu's plea, would have continued letting her Harpies skin him until long after his Life Points had hit zero. "Actually, Lucas," Carla spoke up after a bit, "I don't think it's enough for the opponent to just acknowledge their loss; I think, in some cases, the winner must also acknowledge the loss, otherwise the "game" could potentially continue without end. It'd probably be pretty annoying if one were to face someone who wouldn't accept their defeat, wouldn't you say?" She took a brief moment to take a sip of her sangria. "Of course, then there's the other variable, where a player may be rendered unable to continue the game under any circumstance. Loss of consciousness, broken limbs... stuff like that." A sudden disturbance in the force. Carla turned to look toward where the four gentlemen had exited, to see someone she thought she'd never have to see again. "Ugh, look, it's The Littlest Stripper with Daddy Issues," she blurted out. "And no, we're not teaching her," she added to Lucas while pointing at Syria, "what a stripper is."
Love of Ghibli
That is logical now that you mention it, those kids walked into a game they couldn't win meaning I acknowledged their defeat before they sat down. I would think that the whole unconscious business is a form of forfeit or at least I would hope so. He chuckled as he was actually having a pleasant conversation with the prostitute. How many of these were they going to have in one lifetime? Nevertheless there was the fact that the stripper was just existing in front of them clearly trying to conceal herself. Lucas laughed at the thought teaching Syria about strippers. Aww you're no fun. How else is Syria going to learn about the downsides of human behavior? he let out a sigh though because this stripper did need to be dealt with. So he looked at the two girls while taking another sip of scotch. Remember I said that I saw her being taken away by the "resistance" I'm pretty confident that she now knows where they are stationed and whatnot. Now while I'm not really in the mood for activity at the moment but shouldn't we...apprehend her or something. Pretty sure Arche would like that. He clearly didn't care either way, but it was something that needed to be said. This whole abduct a stripper topic now become a group discussion. Merci
Yuuto breathed in. This was hard. Even with his Mirage Knight, he had failed to defeat this guy...dammit. He drew his next card, probably the last card he would draw in this duel, and looked at it. "I activate my set card Dark Magic Curtain, allowing me by paying half my Life Points to summon my final copy of Dark Magician!" He declared. His facedown flipped open (Yuuto LP: 1100). Then a dark curtain appeared on the field, spinning around before finally Dark Magician popped up from within it, like a magician doing a magic trick as a performance (ATK 2500). He turned to Yuuto for a moment and winked. "Now I activate the card in my hand, Knight's Title! This allows me to knight my Dark Magician, and turn it into, well, Dark Magician Knight!" With that, the Dark Magician knelt down and suddenly a tornado of swords surrounded it. The swords then faded away like illusions, revealing that the magician within...had been transformed into a knight. (ATK 2500) "When it's summoned, I can destroy one card you control, so I'll destroy your facedown!" Then the Dark Magician Knight ran forward and stabbed its purple sword into one of Arta's facedowns. "And now, GO! Attack his Hoplite for victory...!" TotalObelisk
Syria looked over at Carla, a look of confusion on her face at Carla's slight outburst. Her eyes briefly flicked up towards the stone in her forehead (if it was even possible for her to see it from that angle) then to the bracelet Carla had fused hers to and then back to Carla herself. "I would rather keep it somewhere where it is not so easily lost," she replied "It is far easier to misplace a bracelet than it is your own head." She sat back with her own drink still in her hand, while the other two began to discuss the properties of the Orichalcos. Syria listened intently, finding their conversation quite fascinating, especially since the Orichalcos was her main priority here. A thought crossed her mind as the two discussed the idea of 'accepting defeat' and whether or not a game would go on indefinitely if the loser did not accept his defeat. "It's psycological," Syria spoke up "Even if the conscious mind does not accept the defeat, if the subconscious recognizes that they have lost according to the rules set, for example their life points becoming zero, then the seal will recognize the loss. When you tricked those four humans into losing everyone else agreed that you had won, even if the losers refused to accept defeat the number of people acknowledging your victory convinced their subconscious that they had lost." She looked up suddenly when somebody else entered the bar, Syria recognizing her as the girl that had come to talk to her in the park just before the earthquake. She blinked at Carla's 'stripper' remark and found herself looking between Carla and Lucas in confusion as they discussed the subject as if they where a pair of parents fussing over an infant. "What is a stripper?" She asked regardless, directing the question at Lucas since he seemed more inclined to answer. She looked back over at Cynthia as she approached, appearing nervous but trying to keep calm as she greeted the three of them, spotting the stones that they possessed. Syria briefly ran her fingers alone the stone in her forehead as if to assess whether it was still there or not, she considered for a moment if it was wise to tell Cynthia where they got the stones from. **** In the meantime Idris had made her way back to the duel runner she'd parked by the side of the road, slipping the helmet on and booting up the onboard computer. What are you doing? Timaeus asked. "Need to find Protheus and tell him about this," she said "If I can find the signal of the duel runner he took then I can find the lab her and the other guy went to, aha!" A digital map opened up on the screen, showing the location of the lab as well as the best route to get there. "Well this is gonna be a long ride," Idris said "Full speed ahead." She kicked the duel runner to life and sped off back out of Detroit in the direction of the lab. She could help but get a nagging feeling at the back of her mind that something was terribly wrong. She barely paid attention to anything around her, merely checking the map every five minutes to check her progress. As she began to approach the lab the feeling grew stronger and she quickly realized why. "Cultists," she muttered grimly "We're gonna have to duel our way past them I expect." No, we won't have to, Timaeus cut in Just follow my lead. The wandering drones outside the building looked up as they heard the sounds of a duel runner approaching, each one raising their duel disks in preperation for the intruder. As the runner approached they heard a loud cry from the rider as they placed something on the duel runner's duelling fielf. "Arise, Timaeus!" Before any of them could react a giant teal coloured dragon emerged from nowhere, shooting a powerful blast of energy that sliced across the ground before blowing a hole through the side of the building. The cultists dived out of the way of the attack leaving a clear path for Idris to shoot past them and through the hole Timaeus had made. As soon as she was inside she practically dived off the duel runner, tossing the helmet aside, and began running through the halls looking for Protheus and Brian. She eventually rounded a corner and spotted the two of them, with Protheus slumped over Brian's back apparently unconscious. "The hell happened to him?" She asked, sounding very out of breath. Love of Ghibli
Very interesting Lucas commented on Syria's follow-up statement. He was having an intelligent with a robot and a prostitute why was this not being recorded he wonder. Then along came a stripper. However fascinating her life story was she he existence is probably best categorized as.."meh" in Lucas' mind. He watched as she put on her best fake smile and proceed to compliment he watch. Aww how cute. This must be the same fake smile she puts on before she goes face first into some dirty old man's crotch. I wonder how many "favors" did she have to do in order to be allowed to walk the streets by herself? Hmm would it still be appropriate to call her a stripper any more. Maybe Carla has a new peer. Lucas then realized that Cynthia must be kind of lost in her way of life right now. Surely she spent some time with the so called good guys and that can't be good for morale and while giving her to Arche and subsequently tortured was the easiest thing to do. It sure wouldn't be the nicest...but who cares about being nice. Well there is the fact that she could die too and that wouldn't be useful. Lucas was genuinely torn. So he did what any decent person does when they are torn between two choices he pulled out a coin. While he prepared to flip the coin he decided to answer Syria's question...since she asked. Well Syria, this is stripper, pointing to Cynthia, a stripper by definition is a person whose occupation is to take off their clothes for money. For a little more money you can pay to touch a stripper or have them touch you. Its not as dirty as Carla makes it. What is funny is that most humans consider this form of occupation to degrading. While others see it as a form of empowerment. But a lot of strippers are similar to this girl here...once again point to Cynthia... they come with a myriad of personal drama, like father issues, drug abuse, child abuse, sexual abuse, etcetera, etcetera. But I guess there are worse things you can have as a occupation. Lucas takes a quick drink and glances at Carla. On the positive side most strippers are in very good physical condition since their main way of attracting people to pay for them is through a slew of acrobatics. So there you go. Strippers in summary. If you want to know more ask...um, um, White Zinfandel here. Lucas forgot the girl's name and remembered that most strippers were named after drinks zinfandel was the closest drink with a matching first syllable to Cynthia. Nevertheless after his explanation was through he flipped his coin in the air and caught it in his hand. He paused for a second and peeked at it, he looked at Cynthia and then back at the coin. "So where have you been all this time we missed you back at HQ?" He was clearly addressing Cynthia but since he forgot her name it would be easier to avoid it all together. Merci
As soon as Idris approached, a random image of a young child with black and silverish hair flashed into her mind, like a cute-faced kid Protheus. What flashed into her mind next came a view on how Ancient Egypt used to look like, as the young Protheus was desperately running away from royal guards wielding weapons, while a dark shadow not unlike Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon was following right behind him. Protheus remained still, but it seemed as though his memories were being leaked- no- not leaked, merely being reviewed, and anyone nearby just happens to be able to see this 'review'. The next thing that flashed into her mind was what had happened only moments ago, the young Protheus standing in front of the Nameless Pharaoh with raging eyes and the shadow fully materialized, which appeared to be Red-Eyes Black Dragon. This 'dragon' was the ka of the child, apparently, and he battled against the seven magicians with the Millennium Items as they defended their pharaoh. Then came another flash, where they successfully sealed it into a stone tablet, only for a Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon to somehow emerge from it, roaring before it aided the child in escaping the kingdom. These flashes in her mind merely continued on and on, slowly.
Thranduil
"Your a fool boy and you have already lost. I chain activate my other facedown card, Empire of the Titans. So long as this card remains face up on the field you cannot negate the activation of my Tyrant cards. Next from my hand I play the quick play card Offering to the Titans. By tributing three monster I controll I can speical summon one Titan from my hand, deck, or graveyard. So rise up Okeanos the Titan of the Sea." When offerings was played all three of Arta's monsters were lead up to an alter by a priest in a white robe and stabbed in the chest with a sacrafical dagger. Each one of the monsters were engulfed in blue flame and absorbed into the stone alter. The alter then shattered and began a flow of torrental water. As the water washed over the field it swallowed Dark Magician Knight and left nothing in it's place. Out of the torrent of water arose a massive merman. It was so large that it appeared to cover all of Arta's field. "Say hello to your demise boy!" Arta said pointing at Okeanos. "Thanks to the effect of Offerings I cannot attack or draw for the next two turns. However that matters not once per turn, be it mine or yours, I can negate one monster effect, spell, or trap card and banish it." Arta smirked at Yuuto. He knew that he had won. TotalObelisk
Idris froze in shock almost as soon as she stepped out in front of the pair, her palm instantly flying to her head as something flashed within her mind. It took her a second or two to realize what was going on and a few more to work out what she was seeing. Her eyes widened slightly as she watched, or rather her mind watched the images play out. Idris, are you... "Shush!" Idris said suddenly, looking like she was speaking to no one. She continued to watch the events play out, beginning to recognize things as the scene entered the Pharaoh's court and the battle with the seven guardians. Her eyes widening further when the Red Eyes Darkness Dragon finally revealed itself. Red Eyes Black Dragon represents potential, Idris recited to herself It never says potential for what. Her gaze flickered briefly to the unconscious Protheus I suppose the potential for anything. She directed her focus back to the memories, her curiosity and miniscule sense of family duty getting the better of her. a bad post
"Well Lucas I'm glad you asked, because I would love to say that I infiltrated the enemies camp, have been spying on them, and have some very useful information,"Cynthia started, she was treading carefully these were very dangerous duelists, and one misstep could cause her her life, she looked especially worried at Carla, who could definitely go off at her at any minute,"that is unfortunately untrue, I was almost crushed by a building, and was rescued by those people, though I have been spying on them, and I have some very useful information, one of their members is the descendant of Yugi Mutou, who seems to have met Arche, and one of them has the power to destroy the Seal with one of his cards,"Cynthia leaned back to let the information sink in, though they would probably come back saying they knew this already, Cynthia hoped they didn't have this information already. werewolfjedi
Brian was tired, not from carrying the suprisingly light ally on his back, but the fight to keep himself from being distracted from the memories like it was a really good TV show, he had to focus, he shock pistol was almost out of charges, the sheer number of them was putting his marksmenship skills to his limit, and as long as he had Protheus' on his shoulder, he couldn't reload the battery magazine effectively, not that it would help much, at the rate he was going, they wouldn't make it to the bottom floor. "who, you! from the bus, right, collapsed, not sure how, and I keep seeing these memories, at least I hope that's what it is, i'm getting the best history lesson right at the time I don't freaking, GET DOWN!" Brian squeezed off two shots at a robed figure darting out of the side hallway, the tazer bolts making his body twich wildly and leave him unable to move. "if my count is right, that was shots 19 and 20, my mags hold 30 each, I got one spare, and the number they are coming in, I will run out before we get to the car, much less escape, unless you got a better plan, and while I know they haven't broken into it yet, we can't let them get my bike or the car to a professional, or they can track the GPS to where we all are coming from, and if our base is public knowledge to cultists, then we're sunk." Brian gripped his head and groaned. "Not another, ugh! I can't take much more of this mental strain, the duel I had using a sycnhro in the seal was hard enough on me, this is going to tire me out beyond usefulness in a fight, we have got to wake Protheus up or, whatever is going on to stop!" Brian mental strain was not only being caused by the being he carried, the stone was amplifying the effect, trying to take down the man who held it and did not want to further their cause, even if he was resistant to the normal effects of the stone's presence alone, the effects of others were free game. he would break, with a strain to build on, he would surely break, and when he did... Merci
The leaked memories continued. A young Egyptian person, now around twenty years old, was sleeping underneath a blanket in a place far away from the kingdom believing himself safe from them. And even if the person did end up in combat, the possessed ka had furthered its transformation into Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon. But then, an Egyptian scout walked in and without another moment's hesitation killed him in his sleep. For just a split second the silver-haired person's eyes flickered open, just a split second to comprehend fate. Of death. Do you want to live? A voice asked him. A voice of evil and darkness, of Dark Master Zorc, the creator of the Shadow Realm. A voice so terrifying that it managed to snap Brian out of his corruption for a moment. Yes! came the desperate, anguished, and distorted reply of a soul trying its best to resist the pull into the afterlife, into the realm of [s]Slifer[/s] Osiris. ------------------------------------- "GAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!" Yuuto screamed out. He had done everything he could, and was now throwing a mini tantrum in his head. He drew his next card. It was only a Mirror Force, and so he set it before ending his turn. His look was quite distorted.
Premier Alexander Romanov
Lion Tamer set down One For The Money down in front of the facility, and disengaged the magnetic clamps, allowing Yuri and Atsuko to drive into the former factory. However, Atsuko had fainted during the flight over, and was still bleeding from her foot. Natsu was about to answer the wrestlers when she heard the Pelican land, and Ringmistress announced. "Ladies and gentlemen, we now have Itsu's daughter Atsuko in our care. However, she appears to be wounded, so someone who can use psychic powers to heal people, please report out front." Natsu's eyes widened as she heard who had returned, and she dashed out towards the GTO. A voice that sounded like Ringmistress', but a bit more tomboyish and gruffer, emitted from the Duelhog. "Don't just stand around! Get into the Duelhog and get going!" A slight whirring sound could be heard as some shapes in the sunset sky starting to get bigger...
