a bad post
"Boy,"Cynthia said refering to Brian as she had just entered the room as Brian asked for his stone back,"do you know what that stone does, I'm sure you don't he,"indicating Protheus,"is having a hard time keeping himself under control and his willpower is astronomically higher than yours, what chance do you think you have," Cynthia continued to inform the boy about his mistake,"that stone amplifies your deepest and darkest wants, and you know what it can make them real aslong as you give in, but then become its slave it will control you, that is the cold hard truth learn it Brian Katan,"Cynthia smiled cruely,"because you may never see your father again, because one of my fell Orichalcos members may have taken him from you... forever." Merci
"Organization...? Hah, we're just a random bunch of people jumbled up together, and hoping this odd combination can work." He stated, almost as a laugh. "We're a 'team', and apparently this so-called team was formed just this morning. Even so, each of us have unique qualities, and we're opposing the cult...ugh..." He shook his head once more. "Cynthia, he might have a sort of resistance to this rock." He then continued. "After all, I saw him holding it earlier without...problem.... But it doesn't really matter....RINGMISTRESS! APPEAR ALREADY!" He was starting to get impatient at the chibi AI for not appearing.
galesonic
Kori look around the central part of the headquarters. There was no one in sight. This didn't surprise him at all since all the members must have left for higher ground when the earthquake struck. Its like a ghost town in there, and it was creeping the crap out of him. It was like something out of a cheap horror movie. One thought came to his mind. Archetype's throne room. She never allows people to go into her throne unless she has an announcement or when she let us in for rather menial tasks. She always locked it and stayed inside. He hand started to shake as he placed his hand on the knob and turned it. The throne room looked the same as it ever was. Nothing even changed in it. He looked around the whole room, nothing seemed off, much to this surprise. "Where is she?" Kori said aloud. "Where could she even be?"
Merci
"Right behind you, Kori." Archetype Earth's voice came from right him, in the form of a whisper right into his ear. "The selection of the three Swordsmen is coming soon. While I'm a bit reluctant, I've chosen them. On the other hand, though, I'm curious. Our newest member has appeared in a helicopter, and my other two favorites, Syria and Lucas, have rushed over to greet him. Yet you're here. Why is that?" She asked innocently, as if daring him to answer with the truth. While she talked to him, she waved her hand and the door to the throne room opened once more, the gigantic stone tablet of Itsu Solace still standing behind the large throne of Orichalcum. She walked into it, and beckoned him to follow.
Kingdom Xathers
As soon as the two buses had finally finished landing, the new recruits started to file out. Gabriel, though, still needed a bit of support, what with his twisted ankle and all; one of the medics on-board lent him a walking cane to support himself as he and Russell approached the building. "Looks like an old car factory," Gabriel mused to himself, loud enough for Russell to hear him. He had half-expected Russell to respond to his rhetorical statement, but nothing came. Looking back at Russell, Gabriel realized that Russell was once again looking at the piece of paper he had received from Carla. "How many times are you going to stare at that paper, Rusty?" Gabriel said with a half-jesting tone. "I just remembered... that my phone broke," Russell said, his voice almost whining as he cried over-dramatic waterfall tears. "Don't worry about it, you can have my old one," Gabriel said, trying to be as helpful as possible. "But my smartphone had all of my games on it~~!" Russell's tears were now half the size of Niagra Falls. "... stop that." "Okay." Immediately, Russell stopped his melodrama, his face returning to normal. "But seriously, it's a total waste to have gotten her number and not have a phone to call her with." "Like I said, we'll try getting you a new phone later on," Gabriel reassured him. He then turned back around to approach the building, only to be stopped by a young girl asking him a question. "Old man... clown girl... prostitute...?" Gabriel ran those three key phrases through his head, trying to think of anyone who fit those descriptions. Nothing actually came to mind at first... but then he remembered seeing Syria at the DWF Event, sitting in the tree. It was a stretch, but the "clown girl" description somewhat matched Syria's attire, at least. Perhaps this girl was a friend of Syria's, or at least an acquaintance. It might also give insight as to what kind of person Syria is. "That depends," Gabriel finally spoke up. "Do you know of a girl named Syria?" Before the girl could reply to his question, Protheus had called for the group to enter the factory. Perhaps some other time, Gabriel though as he joined the others, the *clank* of his walking cane echoing a bit over the crowd's commotion.
werewolfjedi
Brian listened, nodding as he walked. " it's something my father was obviously resistant too, as he seemed to have been studying this rock since they started falling, perhaps it's partially genetic, in any case, I'm the person who should be holding it, because I'm actually in possession of two pieces, this one was the base piece, look at the side and how it's cut, I still have the other part to it in my pocket, and yet, I"m totally unaffected from what I can tell, this is a stroke of fortune." he looked at Protheus, putting his hand on the rock, "I've already noticed you have been getting irritable and angry at an extreme rate and you should let me hold it for now, we don't need you having a hot head, to make any sort of dent in this cult, we need to have a plan, clear heads and smart stratagems, if your truly what your friend here says you are, you can do this better than even I could, but we need you at your best. Merci
"Perhaps you are correct." He muttered, slightly dazed, and let Brian take the rock of Orichalcum. Unfortunately, he was still slightly disoriented. But fortunately, this disorentiation was no longer growing larger and larger, or at least for the moment. He relaxed his body a bit and turned back to the pile of wrestlers he had gathered. "If anyone is injured, please walk somewhere to the right of the factory, where something that can heal your injuries from the quake is currently practicing in a duel against a descendent of Mutou." He told them, his tone more like a lecturer leading a pile of people into a gallery than a man giving advice to his forces. He still shook his head. A relapse is inevitable, and that bit of Orichalcum only accelerated it. In a situation like this, such things would be dangerous. But hopefully I can delay it long enough to instruct the Ringmistress with orders...
werewolfjedi
Brian took at it, looking at it. is this stuff really that dangerous to others? why am I immune to it, or at least heavily resistant, this makes little sense, and my father didn't mention this in his notes. perhaps he wasn't in possession of the stone for long periods. in that case, I better find a place to leave this safe from others. He took his duel runner into the factory, placing his stone parts in the back of it, locking the metal panel that opened to it. he looked around, seeing who had come with, and studying his current groups base of operations. this place is half a dump, but at least if I need spare parts, I should be able to find something that works.
Premier Alexander Romanov
"You can stop yelling." Ringmistress piped up over the local PDA. "I was processing that Orichalcos chuck with the very limited sensor suite I have. In other word, I was looking at it through the security cameras, and trying to get info from hacking. I've got very little. Some classified data I can't hack into without setting off some serious bells and whistles to alert a branch of this country's government that technically doesn't exist that we are here. A group of very stupid Ukranians is selling this stuff on eBay and Craigslist, because a large fragment landed in...are you f**king kidding me?!? Chernobyl?!? Wow... Anyways, some other governments have info trails leading to locked servers. All of it points to an event about 30 years ago that no one really wants to talk about, and it appears as if a similar cover-up is in place on the events here. No one is confirming nor denying anything, just responding and attempting to ease the collateral damage." She sighed and continued. "But if you want me to run a proper analysis of the rock, as opposed to utilizing my non-existent magical sensor suite I have all over this factory, I have a site for you: the chemistry labs at Lawrence Tech, 12 miles west of here." The Duelhog rolled up to Protheus and honked. "Classes have been cancelled due to what happened downtown, so we can use the node in this vehicle to get in. But I need people to be my eyes, hands and feet. Anyone coming along, head to Workstation E-6, then report back here." They were currently parked near the C aisles of workstations. Pandora came back over as the bus pulled in, and listened to Protheus and the others talk, and eventually came over to the masked wrestler and placed her hands against his wound, closing her eyes as she willed the injury to begin healing. She continued to hold her hand out at the injury, then backed up, extending another hand to another wounded person to heal them as well. She simply concentrated at both patients, also sending subliminal messages into their subconscious to calm them. Natsu placed a card facedown, frowning at being unable to finish him off. werewolfjedi
Brian stepped up with a matter of fact look on his face, turning on his motorcycle. "guess that means I'm in for the lab expedition, seeing as I have the training and the stones, plus, with my duel runner I can run protection as well, I don't expect the cult to let us just idly waltz in and discover all their secrets about their main weapon." Brian sighed inwardly knowing this was gonna get messy. he hated messy. Merci
As the Duelhog appeared, another small headache crossed Protheus's mind. That was the same Duelhog used by the resistance back in his home dimension wasn't it? He couldn't be sure, as that vehicle must've been lost when the dark future was prevented and disappeared, but it was certainly similar... this headache was worsened by the appearance of his daughter Pandora who just appeared. "Ringmistress, while I'm gone, look up on tutorials and tips of dueling as well as physical exercise on the internet. That should be easy enough, no? I might not be quite the same once I'm back. I want you to train these little kids, and hopefully they can rise to the challenge while I'm..." In any case, he faltered for a moment as Brian offered to come along with on his Duel Runner. "Protection is unnecessary, but I may indeed be in need of a companion. Then let us be off." Twelve miles west, chemistry lab at Lawrence Tech. He needed the Orichalcum to get examined. Hopefully, they could discover something, a weakness, or anything, right before the relapse occurred. Fortunately, Brian was somebody unfamiliar to him, so as long as he kept himself around company unconnected to his past, then surely nothing will happen for the trip. Right? Merci
Then they set off. By now, it was already around sunset, and thus the Duelhog that Protheus was in and the Duel Runner that Brian rode both raced through the setting sun. As they rode, he couldn't help but reminisce about his Ancient Egyptian past. The sun was Ra on his chariot, soaring through the sky. Of course, whenever there were stormclouds in the sky that covered the sun, it meant that Ra was under attack from Apophis, the serpent of chaos. Ancient beliefs still remembered today, though unfortunately not quite widespread as a religion. Still, it was something for him to remember... Headaches. Headache. Hurts. Kill him. Kill Who? Him. Who? Him. Who? Him. Who? Him. Who? Him. Who? Him. Who? Him. Who? That man who uses you as a toy everyday. Who? He went too far. Who? He crossed the line. Who? You know what to do. I do? The Black Dragon. I'm afraid that I've left- Use him, kill his son, you can do it, don't be afraid. That's stupid, I'll fail. Remember last week? Remember how he used- Protheus snapped out of it. It shouldn't be too long now before they reached it, only a few more minutes. --------------------------------- Meanwhile, not so far off, a cultist stood by, hidden among the college students, who were hiding under tables and inside closets to save themselves from the earthquake, although it was already over. Apparently, none of them were taking any chances. They were pathetic weaklings, and Zabaniya knew the source of this earthquake; Archetype Earth. He adored her like the sun, and like a god she had now finally shown her true power to Detroit, and to the rest of the world. The member of the cult hidden amongst these students, called Zabaniya, had joined the cult while still part of college. There was one other cultist lurking about, but they only interacted within the headquarters. For now, Zabaniya was looking about, to see if there was some student or teacher separated from the rest of them, someone whose soul he could steal without problem. Yugiman64
"My turn. Draw!" Yuuto drew his card and looked at it. It was the exact card he needed. "YES!" he yelled out. "Ok, now its time for some fun. First off I activate Emblem of Dragon Destroyer, which lets me add one Buster Blader from my deck to my hand." A giant black sword hilt with a yellow design and a blue crystal in the middle comes out of the ground. A blade comes out of the hilt and a warrior in dark blue armor with a yellow design, matching the sword's, appears to grab it. Once the warrior grabs it the warrior and sword shrink to the size of a card. The card flies into Yuuto's hand. "Next I activate Polymerization! Now I can fuse My Dark Magician in my hand with my Buster Blader in my hand." A wizard in purple armor flies up into the sky, and the aforementioned warrior goes soon after. The collapse into a vortex and start swirling around each other in a 2-dimensional state. "Now I fuse the ultimate magician with the ultimate warrior. Come the destroyer of dragons, Dark Paladin!" The vortex disappeared and in its place stood a green skinned magician with the same armor as the magician used to fuse with it, and the same color-scheme as the warrior. Thranduil
Arta was startled awake by Yuuto's shouting. He walked out of the "room" that had the beds and over to the duel between Natsu and Yuuto. He watched as Yuuto summoned Dark Paladin and smiled, So this kid really is Yugi Moto's decendent. Arta was about to say something when he heard the engines of a duel runner and the bus start. He turned around and noticed that the Demi-God, whom Arta had yet to meet, and the boy by the name of Brian drove off into the evening sun. Where they were going or what they were doing he didn't care. What he did care about was the feeling he got from the Demi-God and the less powerful, but still present, feeling he got from Cynthia. Damn it, who repaired her Orichalcos? He thought to himself. He walked up to Cynthia and decided on a different approach. "Well seeing as you don't need the Orichalcos card I gave you might I have it back?" Arta asked Cynthia with a sheepish smile. "And while your at it come have a seat with me and tell me about yourself. Tell me why you joined the cult and what you seek to gain." Arta smiled at her and walked off without waiting for a answer. Like usual he avoided trying to force any information out of her. He to let Cynthia tell him herself, then he might get a better understanding of the girl.
galesonic
Kori's eyes widened as he heard Archetype's voive behind. He fell over and clutched his pounding heart in pure surprise. How the hell did she even get inside? He looked everywhere and there was no opening that he could find. "Damn it. This girl's gonna be the death of me...possibly one way or another." he thought as he tried to keep composure. Wait...did she just say new member? Kori knew nothing about a new member being inducted into the cult. Then again, that explains why he didn't see the rest of the cult around town. Though, even then he barely sees them outside of headquarters. Still an oddity in Kori's mind. "New cult member?" he said to Archetype as he dusted himself off and followed her, while he looked at the statue. He thought of how she even got it. One thing that came to mind was an unlucky duelist trying to defeat her. "I've heard nothing about this new member. I only hear about new member in your announcements in the headquarters actually." Wait...did she say favorites? Has she already chosen her knights for the Orichalcos? This is making it seem like there's almost no time until the comet Faust comes to Earth and Archetype's plan for making a 'utopia' become a reality. At least in theory, that is. Aesirson
Viktor turned to the two strangers and figured that they were his escorts, or guides, to this cult-thing that he had joined. One of the, as Viktor asumed, guides was an old man, although Viktor would probably be considered old himself at the age of 41, who looked quite fit for his age, but Viktor guessed that he was in his late 50s or early 60s. The other, a woman, was clad in a pink coat with white trim and looked to be around her late teens. None of them looked to be cult material. "My name is Viktor, and I am here for the Orichalcos Cult." He said, trying to sound a bit more 'american', but failing to do so.

Premier Alexander Romanov
Ringmitress groaned from the Duelhog's speakers. "There were D-Gazers back at Workstation E-6. I was hoping you could put them on so I could talk you through the procedure. No matter. This will get a bit complicated. One of you will need to find a professor in the science department and get him or her to spill their username and password for the school's network. That way, I can access the science building's mainframe, plant a couple nodes, and direct you from there." Atsuko still waited...and waited...and waited...She had finally fallen asleep inside of the ring, Albatrum silently floating there, and had recently woken up to see that Alexander was still spazzing out. He had apparently decided not to reply to the fact that she refused to duel. She suddenly saw Yuri, one of her mother's co-workers, and lit up, waving frantically from inside the Seal to her. "Hey! I'm over here! Get me out of this seal!" Natsu told Yuuto. "You really need to make sure I don't have anything that could stop you, like my Trap Card." She flipped up a card depicting a green individual getting sucked into a purple portal. "Bottomless Trap Hole! Since your Paladin is well over 1500 ATK, I get to destroy and banish him!" A similar portal formed beneath the warrior, and he started to sink into the vortex.

I feel like we are walking into a trap, I've not noticed anyone following us or even much anyone around here, it seems, wrong." Brian didn't realize it, but he wasn't thinking about much into a plan to stop this problem he was feeling coming, he was too focused on getting there and getting the stone under a microscope himself, and following his dad's research, he was fascinated by the stone's properties, and if it could be used to rescue his lost father. the stone was affecting him, just not in the same way as the others. he saw a weapon, a weapon he wanted to use on his adversary. TotalObelisk
Syria continued to stare at the new arrival, even after his reply. Her gaze moving slowly around his person and focusing particularly on his left hand side, staring for a while at the strange mechanical arm attached to the armour over his left shoulder. She hadn't seen anyone quite like him before and his unfamiliar tone of voice made him a complete mystery to Syria, and a mystery to one of her kind is like being let loose in a candy store and being told everything is free so long as you could open the boxes. "You are...Different," she stated, her gaze finally returning to the human's face "I have not seen another human like you." She paused for a moment, her head tilting to one side and an endless number of potential queries rattled through her electronic mind, however she would have plenty of time to question the human later as it seemed he intended to stick around. "I believe Archetype-Earth will be arriving shortly, if she has not arrived already" she said "I trust you are familiar with her and her intentions? Otherwise you likely would not have come here seeking to join this organization."
Yugiman64
Yuuto grabbed a card from his hand. "Since my paladin will be destroyed, I activate Monster Reborn!" A light green ankh appears and then disappears. In its place is a magician wearing purple armor and holding a purple staff with a green orb in the middle. He then sits on top of his card and is in a defensive position. "Now my Dark Magician has returned to protect my life points. Then I end my turn. Go." Kuriboh jumps up and down at the triumph. A new spirit, the one of the Dark Magician, appears next to Yuuto. "I am proud to do you service." The magician said. "You always have and always will." Yuuto replied. "Partners 'till the end. I'll never leave your side." "Nor shall I leave yours." The magician said. Then he smiled at the puzzle.
