Return of the Orichalcos (Finishing/PG-13/IC)

Idris put the High Priestess of Prophecy back into her deck and began to shuffle it with her left hand. She wasn't all too sure about this but she had heard from her father once that it was possible to tell a person's fortune using their own personal deck (though given that Idris' deck was already based on Tarot cards she doubted it would give her any kind of different results). nevertheless she began to lay them out on the table in front of her and set the remaining cards aside. She turned over the first card, the card representing the past, revealing Spellbook Institute - La Maison which was upside-down. A frown crossed her face, she knew exactly what it was referring to. She turned over the middle card, the present, revealing the High Priestess of Prophecy.

"Well, that tells me a lot," she muttered.

She reached for the final card that represented the future and turned over the Emperor of Prophecy. Her eyebrows raised in interest, she'd dran the Tarot card equivilent earlier and assumed it was indicating Protheus but that had turned out to be false as Protheus was Judgement. She stared at the card for a moment, pondering what it could mean before picking the cards back up and shuffling them back into her deck.

"That achieved a lot," she sighed as she sat back on the sofa to stare up at the cieling again.

Syria made her way to the entrance with Lucas following behind, emerging onto the untouched area of the city to find some kind of human air craft had landed close by. The human spoke in an odd dialect, it was english but the language was distorted somehow and it took Syria a moment or two to figure out what he'd said. She averted her gaze to the aircraft, staring at it in interest for a moment before returning her attention to the new arrival.

"Hello," she said calmly "Who are you?"

Yuuto threw his open palm toward Natsu. "Not so fast! You attacked my Marshmallon. Since she was facedown your attack bounces off and delivers your life points 1000 points of damage. And furthermore Marshmallon can't be destroyed by battle." Yuuto knew he would win now. But just in case he held on to the card in his hand. "Now what are you gonna do about that?" He taunted. Kuriboh and Watapon smiled and jumped around based on the move he played. "Just end your turn so this duel will be over and I can spare you the misery of losing. Sound good?" Yuuto continued looking at the field, feeling as if something was off about how easily Natsu let that happen.

Natsu laughed as the attack seemed to bounce off, but Junk Berserker righted himself, and used the momentum from the bounce to swing his axe around in a horizontal manner, cleaving the squishy creature in two. (Natsu: 4000 LP -> 3000 LP) "Junk Berserker has a special effect that lets him destroy any Defense Position monster he attacks, regardless of its Defense Points or its ability to be destroyed in battle." Junk Berserker took a few steps back as the gooey monster he had destroyed faded away. "Now, Gadget Warrior, attack Yuuto directly! Gizmo Hammer!" The parts on Gadget Warrior's mechanical arms started shifting, detaching from the backpack Gadget Warrior was wearing and repositioning into a large mallet. Gadget Warrior picked up the sledgehammer, and pounded it down near Yuuto.

Kori followed along the tunnel's walling and looked at the clearing ahead. He was almost there. just thinking about finding Archetype in there and get done with this mess made his heart pound. He started to jog his way there, and then run. he noticed something very odd about this. The opening to the headquarters is already open. Was Archetype already knew he was coming? It didn't surprise him if she did, let alone set a trap for him. Well, he's already here, so he went down the stairs.

The headquarters looked like it hasn't even been hit by the earthquake, more like it never even happened at all. This gave Kori a chill up his spine. But it gave him a sense of anticipation and thrill. He started to look around to see if anyone was still inside the place.

Someone words seemed to penetrate Cynthia's head, actually it was not just words it was a song. Cynthia awoke and opened her eyes she was immedeately aware of 2 things she was looking at a pair of shoes, and something squishy was undrneath her head. Wait a minute Cynthia thought.

"Holy crap," Cynthia screamed jumping of Arta, then squinting her eyes she continued,"are you a pervert?" she asked in a somewhat serious somewhat joking matter. Not waiting for an answer Cynthia left the room going to find a place to have some quiet, she wasn't aware of anyone following her nor did she care. Cynthia walked in to a secluded room with a few beds and toke a seat on one crossed her legs to sit in a cross legged position, and began her meditation.

As Idris gazed up at the ceiling she found herself getting slowly drowsy, she suspected that all the excitement of their escape and the earthquake had finally gotten to her. She heaved a low yawn and allowed her eyes to close; figuring that a short nap won’t do her any harm.
As she dozed off she began to feel herself drifting, she didn’t really pay it much attention at first, it was just a dream after all, but as soon as the drifting stopped she opened her eyes. She found herself in front of an ancient looking castle, the architecture too different to be a mediaeval castle but seemingly more advanced. It took her a moment to realize that she wasn’t standing on the floor but instead floating a few feet in the air, she stared at the ground below her with a bemused expression on her face.

“This is…Different,” she commented, looking back up at the castle in front of her.

It was then that the gates in front of her slowly began to open, apparently of their own accord.

“Best see where this goes,” Idris muttered, floating forwards through the gates.

She found herself in a large antechamber with tall teal coloured pillars along the walls and a decorative chandelier hanging from the ceiling. Idris paused on the spot for a moment to take the sight in only stopping when her eyes caught sight of a figure at the other end of the room approaching her. Idris’ eyes widened slightly as the figure drew closer and she was able to make out the ornate teal armour the figure wore as well as the scar cutting across his right eye, Idris found herself tracing the markings across her own eye as her eyes widened with recognition.

“You’re Timaeus,” she said out loud.

“I see you know who I am,” the warrior replied, his voice deep and brimming with confidence and authority.

“You’re one of the legendry knights of Atlantis,” Idris recited “The ones that were sealed in the form of dragons by Dartz to…” she paused, realized crossing her face.

Timaeus seemed to read her mind as a grin formed across his face.

“You are correct, ” he said “Then yo u are no doubt aware of why I have chosen to appear to you.”

“No!” Idris immediately raised her hands and leaned back slightly “No, no way, I…Just no, okay? I want nothing to do with this?”

Timaeus’ grin turned into a frown at Idris’ reaction, his gaze hardening as he observed the Egyptian girl.

“Look, I’m sorry,” Idris continued “But I’m really not cut out for this I’m…”

“You are a descant of the Pharaoh’s Sacred Court, are you not?” Timaeus cut in.

“Well, yes,” Idris answered “But…”

“And you are aware of how the Pharaoh once wielded me to defeat the Orichalcos?”

“Yes, but I…”

Idris bit her lip as Timaeus continued to glare at her.

“Listen,” she said “I know about what happened with Atlantis and the Orichalcos, more or less, but you’ve picked the wrong person, I don’t want anything to do with this.”

“You would rather allow the Divine Serpent to succeed and throw the world into ruin?” Timaeus replied.

“Well, no, but,” Idris heaved a sigh “I know my family’s spent their entire lives following the traditions of the Egyptian sorcerers and honouring the memories of the Pharaoh but, all I’ve done is turn my nose up at them and treat them like old fashioned fairy tales, I’m not cut out for this.”

To her surprise Timaeus smiled in response.

“I would not have chosen you if I did not think you worthy to wield my power,” he said calmly “You may not agree with your family’s traditions but you still hold them close to you, deep inside.”

Idris heaved a sigh, her thoughts drifting to her grandfather: “Yes,” she admitted.

“Then for their sake accept my gift,” Timaeus said, holding his sword out towards her “I do not ask this of you lightly but I know you will find the strength inside yourself to succeed.”

Idris stared from Timaeus to the sword and back again, still chewing her lip nervously. Eventually she reached out and wrapped her fingers around the scabbard, a determined look in her eyes.

“Okay then,” she said.

“Good,” Timaeus grinned in satisfaction “The time is fast approaching when you will need my aid, do not fail me Idris.”

Idris awoke staring up at the ceiling above her before sitting up straight and brushing her fringe out of her eyes. She looked around the empty room for a moment or two before standing up and reaching into her pocket for her deck, pulling it out her heart skipped a beat as she saw the Eye of Timaeus card right at the front.

“Well, here goes nothing,” she said, clutching the deck tightly.

Arta looked a little surprised by Cynthia's sudden awakening. "My apologies, did I wake you?" Cynthia did not even respond she just walked off. Arta was not one to let someone just leave without finishing a conversation. So, whether she wanted him to or not he followed her into the room. When he entered the room he was shocked to find beds. They were certainly not the cleanest of beds but they were beds. He looked over at Cynthia sitting on the bed meditating. Oh that is nice, I am glad that she can find ways to bring peace to her mind. Arta sat on a bed opposite of her smiling. It occurred to him that it might seem a little creepy since she had just, jokingly, called him a pervert. So he instead laid down on the bed and closed his eyes. He slept for a few minutes but his mind would not let him rest fully. Too much had happened, his mind wandered to the boy he had met earlier that day. What happened to Solomon, last I saw of him was in the cafe. I do hope he got out okay. When Arta opened his eyes he found Cynthia standing over him with at stoic look on her face. "Oh hello, you never answered my question, did I wake you?" Arta gave her a soft smile.

Cynthia raised an eybrow,"You are aware were I laid my head are you not?" Cynthia asked. "On another note you do realize that while someone is meditating they still have full awareness of the world around them, but to answer your question no you did not wake me though I did awaken to your song," Cynthia said. "Is that all you came in here to ask," Cynthia said cocking her head to the right,"well in any case I forbid you to leave now, and I will ask you for your deck, becuase I wish to perform a little fate test, though this is supposed to be done with a deck of cards or Tarrot cards I can just as easily do it with someone's deck, actually I prefer to do it with someone's deck as it tells more about there character, I am also aware of the other girls cards, but again I'd prefer to use your deck," Cynthia finished and toke the cross legged position, and opened her hand waiting for Arta to deliver his deck in to her hands.

Yuuto threw his palm out. "I activate the effect of Kuriboh from my hand." A small ball of brown fur with grren hands and feet and yellow claws comes out of the ground and goes to block Gadget Warrior's effect. "His effect allows me to send him from my hand to the graveyard so I can reduce any battle damage from one of your monster's attacks to 0, so my life points are still safe at 4000." Kuriboh smiles at Yuuto and at the fact that he could be of help during the duel. "Good job little buddy. I'm proud." Yuuto smiles. "Now since your out of high attack monsters to attack with the most damage I can get is 900, which still means I'm winning. What are you gonna do about that?"

Arta blushed at this and rubbed the back of his head. "Oh I apologise I thought I had laid you on my leg, you were so light I did not notice." Arta handed Cynthia his cards. "I was hoping that I sung softly enough to keep from waking you but when I saw you sleeping I just had to sing that song, not really sure why though." Arta had a puzzled look on his face as he thought about it. "If you want to see my fate that is fine, I have no intentions of hiding anything. To know ones fate is a relaxing thing, because then you need not worry of the future." Arta gave her another smile and sat back on the bed while he waited for her to tell him his future.

"This."
Accel Synchron suddenly dashed forward, as if to attack, but she ran past Yuuto, Gadget Warrior following her. They kept heading away from Yuuto, gaining speed, until their was a sudden burst of light and a thundering BOOM, and they disappeared. Suddenly, a pair of doors near Itsu crashed upon, and a gale rushed by Yuuto, taking one of his Trap Cards with it. Several seconds later, the same high-speed wind returned, and it knocked Yuuto to his feet, lowering his Life Points to 1400 before he had time to react. Finally, the gale dispersed as it entered a third time, revealing a brand-new monster next to Natsu as the blinding wind dispersed across the assembly room.
In front of Yuuto was a being covered in chrome armor and a black rubbery hex-patterned bodysuit beneath the angular frame. The warrior, clearly female due to its thicker hip armor and rounded sections near the pointed front of the chestplate indicating breasts, had wheels where her feet would be, a helmet resembling something a racecar driver would wear, and a powerful-looking apparatus on her back with two large engines ending in thrusters and supported by bladed wings. She flicked up her visor to reveal a face with icy-blue eyes, a few loose strands of blonde hair, and an air mask over most of her face that had hidden tubes running underneath the helmet. "Say hello to Accel Warrior, one my ace Synchros." Natsu introduced, Accel Warrior revving her engines in response. (2600 ATK|LV7) "And you just witnessed an Accel Synchro Summon."

Cynthia closed her eyes and giggled at Arta's sheepishness, then taking a stoic fate intrested in what the boys deck might hold. Cynthia first shuffled the deck, then said,"In no way is this as accurate as Tarrot cards this is just a fun little game I used to lay in as a little girl, but it is supposed to tel you about someone's personality anyhow lets get started, first,"Cynthia started by picking up the first card face down, then flipped over laying it on the bed,"Spartan Musician, I think this is supposed to mean you or someone close to you is a fan of music, next we have Gerousai Council, this one is obvious it means your diplomatic, or don't like to fight, and finally we have...oooff!" Cynthia felt the power that surged through her, and fell off the bed. What was that Cynthia thought this power it obviously reacts in a negative format to anyone who poses an Orichalcos card speaking of that were is that card anyhow. Before checking on her Orichalcos she looked at the card that had thrown her off the bed "Atlas, World Keeper Titan",and it was literally smoking. then Cynthia reached into her pocket to see if anything odd had happened to the Orichalcos, but it wasn't there,"Hey where is my Orichalcos?"Cynthia asked.

Arta watched amused, she was doing well for it just being a game. "That is true, I am a lover of music." Arta continued to smile as she flipped the next card. Gerousai Council, it was one of his newer cards that just appeared in his deck. "You are correct again Cynthia, I prefer to solve my problems with conversation rather than fists." As she picked up the next card Arta's smile faded, he felt it, the power starting to build in the card that she was touching. "Cynthia don't-" his warning came too late as Cynthia was forced off of the bed by the power of the Titan that she had just touched. He looked at his now smoking card and sighed. "I should have known, Atlas." Arta bent over to help Cynthia up. "I am sorry about that, my Titans have power greater than that of the Orichalcos and their sole purpose is to eliminate threats like the Orichalcos." Cynthia did not seem to notice as she was looking for her Orichalcos card. "I have it here with me. I saw how hard you were gripping it and I knew that it had a harsh grip on your mind. So I put it here in my pocket." Arta patted his chest. "I will not be giving it back to you. It is an evil card and only seeks to corrupt and destroy." Arta grabbed her hand and pulled her up.

After helping Cynthia up, Arta, just out of curiosity turned away from her and pulled the card out of his pocket. The seal at first seemed to be fine however as he took a closer look he noticed the seal had four cracks running through it making a jagged X mark across the face. Did Atlas destroy this Orichalcos card? Arta thought to himself as he slipped the card back into his pocket.

CJ, Seda and Thorton watched on as Protheus grabbed onto the rope ladder with just two fingers.

"What the hell is he doing?" CJ muttered. "He's not gonna get anywhere like tha--"

What everyone on the surface saw next was both unexpected and astounding: Protheus, with his own two fingers, managed to pull the whole rope ladder up with a single tug, an act that practically launched Gabriel and Russell high into the sky, screaming simultaneously as they soared about fifty feet high through the air.

Snapping out of his amazement, CJ shouted to the other wrestlers, "Hey, we don't have a safe landing for them!!"

In earnest, the entire male half of the DWF roster huddled together, making a mosh pit for Gabe and Russ to land on. "A little to the right! No-no, go left! You're OTHER LEFT, DIP$#!TS!! Now, move forward! Okay, this spot should be good, now stay still!"

Gabe and Russ finally landed... through the roof of one of the tour buses, fifty feet away from the mosh pit. Luckily for the both of them, there were beds underneath the part of the roof that they had crashed through.

"... well, sh!t," Tom Seda blurted out as he and the other wrestlers ran toward the tour bus in question. "Guys, are you alright?!"

"Considering we were just catapulted into the air... and crashed through a frikkin' metal roof of a bus... all with blatant disregard for the laws of physics," Russell replied, grunting in pain in-between breaths, "we're actually both okay, thanks for asking, Seda."

"Blame him," Seda and CJ said at once, both pointing at Protheus.

"Now, wait a second guys," Gabriel spoke, gingerly adjusting himself on the bed. "Regardless of what he did and how he did it, he did manage to get us out of that hole. For that, at least," he added, turning to Protheus, "I will thank you."

"Same here," said Russell.

"Now," Shannon McKowen stepped forward, "about this offer of recruitment, Mr. Maximus... we're all going to have to discuss this amongst ourselves, so if you'd please, be a bit more patient, and we'll get back to you with our answer."

Meanwhile, Carla was still outside, acting as if she was looking for something. In reality, she was having a "conversation" with her Seal of Orichalcos.

"Look, I wanna have a bit more fun with this, okay?" she said mentally to her Seal. "And if what that guy just now said is true, he'll be able to catch on to me and it'll be game over."

"You had best not be forgetting your duties, Carla Bellerose," replied the Seal. "There are many souls here, just waiting to be reaped--"

"--and they'll all kick my ass if I try anything of the sort," Carla retorted. "It's not going to do either of us any good if I get found out.

"Now, I'm not saying you should leave," Carla continued, "but right now, I can't have you with me, so...," she trailed off, looking around at the debris and destruction. "Hmm... ... I know! You can hide in that corpse they found!"

"... ... you cannot be serious," the Seal replied, actually dropping its ominous tone.

"Oh, don't be such a baby. You steal souls, for Pete's sake, and you're getting antsy over being inside a faceless dentist?"

"FINE!" shouted the Seal. "I shall leave you to your precious "fun" for now. But remember to whom you ultimately answer. By the way... when you are done here, Archetype Earth wishes to see you back at the lair...."

With that final note, the Seal vanished from Carla's deck and placed itself within the caved-in skull of the deceased dentist, while Carla, as best she could, covered up the corpse once more.

"Hey, are you alright?" Carla actually jumped, having not expected anyone else to be around; the stone slab she had been holding on to fell out of her grip, landing with a loud thud, accompanied by a sickening squelch, signalling that the rest of the dentist's head, and body, would no longer be recognizeable. Carla turned around to see Barby standing behind her.

"Um-uh... of course!" Carla replied, instantly recovering. "I just thought that I'd give the dentist a decent-enough burial."

"Oh! Well, that's nice of you," said Barby. "Are you going to come in to one of the tour buses?"

"Sure, why not?" Carla answered, a nonchalant smile gracing her lips. "Lead the way, girlfriend."

After a while of deliberating, the wrestling troupe was almost unanimous with their decision; most of them, including Gabriel and Russell, had decided to join with Protheus and his cause, while only a handful of others, which included some members of the audience, were against the idea, but they couldn't be blamed; none of them knew what was in store for them.

Those who had decided not to join moved over to one of the empty tour buses, while the part of the group recruited by Protheus took the other two.

Shortly before the Tour Buses departed, Carla walked into the makeshift infirmary, where Russell and Gabriel were resting. "May I come in?" she asked, despite having already welcomed herself in.

Upon seeing Carla, Russell became dumbstruck. "Um-uhh...," was the first thing to come out of his mouth.

"I think what my friend here is trying to say," Gabriel spoke, unable to hide a chuckle, "is, "Have we met before?""

"Well, that depends," Carla said coyly as she walked over to Russell's bed, taking a seat on the edge. "I mean, it's not often that I get to see wrestlers going about their daily lives... but then again, who has?"

"The diner!" Russell blurted out. "Last night, when the comet was shining brightly, I--I mean, we, meaning my friends Gabe and CJ--" Russell immediately cut himself off, realizing how silly he must have sounded. He sighed out. "Sorry, I just... ... what's you're name, anyway?"

"Well, that's a better start, hun," Carla said. "The name's Carla Bellerose, and the pleasure, I assure you, is all mine, umm... Oxford, was it?"

"R-Russell. Russell Kevan Oxford, ma'am," stammered the blushing Russell.

Gabriel gave Russell an odd look, surprised at seeing his friend act so strangely.

Carla giggled sweetly. "You don't have to been so formal, sweety. Just "Carla" will do."

"ATTENTION ALL PASSENGERS," blared a loudspeaker in the infirmary. "THE TOUR BUS WILL BE DEPARTING SHORTLY. ALL PASSENGERS NOT JOINING THE FIGHT AGAINST THE ORICHALCOS SHOULD DISEMBARK IMMEDIATELY."

"That's my cue," Carla said getting up from Russell's bed. "Yep, I'm afraid I won't be joining with the rest of you."

"Oh... I see," said Russell sadly, feeling dejected.

"Hey, it's okay," Carla added reassuringly, leaning over to Russell. "I'm sure we'll see each other again sometime. In fact, I'm hoping we can talk later." As she said this, she reached into the top opening of her blouse and, from her cleaveage, pulled out a piece of paper, giving it a kiss before handing it over to Russell. "Call this number as soon as you can. That is, if you're comfortable enough to talk by then." She blew Russell one more kiss before leaving the infirmary. CJ entered the infirmary shortly after.

"Hey, was that...?" CJ asked, pointing back at Carla.

"Yep. That was our mystery woman," Gabriel replied, giving a quick glance and a nod toward Russell, who was now staring blankly at Carla's "calling card". "And guess who got her digits?"

"Lucky dog...!"

After of few moments of driving (read: hovering) and listening to random one-liners from Protheus, the two Tour Buses had arrived at a seemingly abandoned motor vehicles factory, several miles from Detroit and the earthquake.

"Arta that's a foolish move, but if you insist on keeping the Orichalcos know that I will need it back soon," Cynthia said. An odd sound puzzled her it sounded as if a car or truck was driving by, puzzled Cynthia began to move back into the main chamber. It seemed as though Natsu and Yuuto were also still in the middle of there duel with the desendant of the Great Yugi Muto losing, oh well it was time for a queen of games anyhow. Cynthia then exited the building to see for herself what all the fuss was about and her jaw nearly hit the floor. A whole bus of people was driving up to the warehouse, was this all the recruits Protheus was talking about Cynthia thought, man the Orichalcos is going to have its hands full.

Arta had a thought cross his mind. He turned around to ask Cynthia but she had already walked off. He walked out of the room himself to see where she had wandered off to now only to find her staring at a large bus full of people unloading in the middle of the factory. "Well this certainly is an interesting turn of events. Perhaps we do have a chance against the Orichalcos. I mean we always had a slim chance but now we have real and serious chance." Arta put his hand on Cynthia's shoulder. "I would like it if you could join us against the Orichalcos. I know you might think I am crazy for asking this however I don't think you will be under the control of the Orichalcos any more. That and I don't think the Cult will accept you back with a broken Orichalcos." Arta pulled the Orichalcos card out of his pocket and handed it to Cynthia. The once hard to see cracks were now clear as day and had spread from it's original X. The Orichalcos was broken and still breaking.

"Really the Orichalos is not something you turn your back on easily, and besides I don't that Orichalcos, I could always take one from the drones," Cynthia said thinking about her options, or I could take his he does still have it I presume, and if he doesn't I'll eliminate a drone and take one of there's, besides the Orichalcos is all I have left, there's no going back to my old life. Cynthia turned to examine the newcomers, they were the wreslters and such from the event maybe she could find out about Lucas, Syria, or Carla.

"Hello," she said approaching one of the wreslters in a mask,"did you maybe see a girl dressed up kind of like a clown, and old man, or maybe a young woman that kind of looks she could be a prostitute?"

Arta let out a sad sigh, he liked Cynthia and would have liked it if she had decided to join them. In all that time he had forgotten about the Orichalcos card he had taken off one of the cultsts. "Oh that's right." Arta walked away from the group of new comers and went to get his deck. In his deck he found the other Orichalcos card. As Arta walked back out he noticed Cynthia talking to one of the wrestlers, he did not know why this made him jelous but he did not care. Arta walked up to Cynthia and pulled her away from the group of wrestlers. "Here you go." Arta held out the Orichalcos card infront of Cynthia. "You can have this one but you must face me in a duel and win while using the seal. If you beat me congratulations you win you can go back to the cult and you will be going back with a powerful soul. If you loose then you need to give up on the Orichalcos forever and never return to the cult." Arta handed her the card but never looked away from her eyes. If she was serious about returning to the cult the she would have no issues about stealing his soul.

Before she could get her answer Arta pulled Cynthia away and gave her his spare Seal of Orichalcos, but it came with a condition, and if she was smart one that she couldn't meet.

"Arta you know I can't do that," Cynthia said, but she toke the card anyway and placed it in her back pocket,"listen as soon as I beat you you would lose your soul and Protheus would eliminate me, is that what you want," Cynthia continued,"besides I need this card if I'm going to infiltrate there headquaters, but Arta just so you know I won't leave the headquaters in the end I will have to fight on the side of the Orichalcos, now I have a question I need answered."

Cynthia returned to masked wrestler,"So about my question, have you seen any of the people I just described."

"Who says you would win." Arta's tone was serious but it didn't matter. Cynthia walked off leaving Arta standing there. He may have lost this battle but he would not loose the war. Arta walked back to the room full of beds and laid down on one of them. In his mind Arta was working out a plan to try and covince Cynthia to drop the business with the cult. I do not care what it takes I will get you to join ME against the cult. Cynthia... why can't you see that the cult cares for no one not even it's own members. Arta fell into a deep sleep while continuing to think up ways to pull her out of the cult.

As Arta fell into a deep sleep, Protheus Maximus suddenly took that opportunity to emerge from the bus. He was still holding the piece of Orichalcum earlier given to him by the man in the helmet, and waved it over Cynthia, the female cultist. Immediately, the cracks in her card began to repair themselves, as well as the influence of the Orichalcos asserting itself over her once more.

"You need to fight it at full power." He stated bluntly, before grinning a bit as he looked at the sleeping Spartan man who possessed the Titans. "Oh, we all saw that. You might want to reconsider having such conversations in front of public next time."

He shook his head for a bit, as holding the Orichalcum was influencing his mind and trying to corrupt it. He had to return it back Brian as soon as possible, as Brian might have an immunity to this particular rock. But before then, he had to show it to the Ringmistress and destroy her- no, have her destroy-, no examine it. Stupid rock, amplifying his desires.

"Everyone, please follow me into the factory. There is a particular artificial intelligence that may answer your questions easier than I can." He instructed them, and walked on ahead.

"Ringmistress, appear now." He ordered, holding out the green rock. "We have...quite a lot of recruits now....and you may want to inform them of the current situation. By the way, where's Pandora...?" He winced. His willpower was strong, but the rock was using his purpose against him, amplifying the darkness that made him immortal and drove him on and on. No good. No good. Acceleration going higher and higher, lapse is nearing imminence, Pener, Pener, Egypt, got to built a laboratory, but he already built it. He? Yes, he. Yes, Protheus. Conquer Maxima? No. He already did that years ago. Destroy the multiverse? Still working on it. Burn the egg? Failed, it's now the greatest thorn in his existence. Burn it now? No, he'll wait for it to expire on its own. Why wait? He can't quite bring himself to do such a thing. Why not? Rey Rasvateil was the same. Oh. Okay. The Anti-Realm? Gave up on that plan, too time-consuming. Why so? Idiots kept getting in the way. How about Egypt? What about it? How are you going to assassinate the young Pharaoh?
That last question was enough to snap him back into reality.

He shook his head, and waited for the others to enter.

Yuuto looked at the monster and couldn't believe that Natsu summoned ANOTHER monster. "That was just a scratch," taunted Yuuto. "I'll deal much more damage than that during my next turn. Now do you end your turn or are you going to summon another one of your friends?" Yuuto waited for Natsu to say the words that would ensure victory for him, as long as he picked the right card on his next turn. Yuuto smiled at the spirits of Marshmallon and Kuriboh, who were beside him. "Nice job guys. You did good." the duel spirits smiled and started to bounce around. "Lets do this guys. I know we can win." With that Yuuto looked at the field and waited for his turn.

Idris found herself wondering around the factory out of boredom, everything that had happened over the past day or so had left her feeling restless; the duel she'd witnessed, carrying Itsu's statue back to the tower, escaping the tower with a bunch of strangers, the earthquake and now Timaeus having appeared to her. She fished into her pocket for her deck for about the umpteenth time and stared at the blue card at the front, her mind still boggling as to why Timaeus even chose her in the first place.

"No sense moping about it," she sighed "The sooner we get to those cultists the sooner I can put this all behind me."

She stared at the card for a moment, a puzzled expression crossing her face. Eventually she looked up and to her surprise saw a pair of tour buses with a bunch of people departing in the main part of the factory. Her confusion didn't last long as Protheus himself emerged from one of the buses but her surprise was still very much fixed.

"You where quicker than I expected," she commented "How did you get so many people?"

She paused, giving Protheus a scrutinous look.

"You feeling okay?" She asked "You look kind've out of it."

"W- who are you again?" Protheus asked, in an oddly light voice in contrast to his usual harsh tones. But he quickly shook his head again. "I apologize, Idris, it's just this stone I'm holding..." And he held out his hand, letting it be visible that he was holding a decent chunk of Orichalcum. "Stupid thing amplifies things, and it's just amplifying my already-existing problem... ANYWAY, these people are mostly wrestlers. I saved the lives of two of them so it wasn't quite- what was I talking about again...? Oh yes, harsh. Wasn't quite harsh."

He took a few deep breaths, trying to calm himself down. And yet, this action was completely ridiculous, for he was immortal and had no need to breath. The action itself was useless anyway, because his body was already pretty much dead. It was completely illogical.

"So, where is that Ringmistress...? I need to have this bit of Orichalcum examined..as soon as possible..."

Brian walked out, looking anxious, and removing his helmet, his dirty blond hair a bit of a mess. "can I have the stone back now, it's the piece my father was working on, I need to make sure it's kept safe."
Brian looked at the other person, and smiled, bowing slightly " hello there, my name is Brian Katan. I believe that my father has been taken by this cult here, and as my opponent seems to be yours as well, I shall assist you in whatever way I can, do you know where they are, or have any clues? I brought my father's notes, it isn't much, but perhaps some of it would help you with information I have that you do not, and vice versa."
he walked to his bike, opening his storage panel, and removing the package of papers he gathered from his father's house.
"his observations are in here, namely of their usual hang outs around his work. I didn't want to walk in alone, but with an organization of some kind behind me, I could try my luck."
