Return of the Orichalcos (Finishing/PG-13/IC)

Idris heaved a sigh of relief when they finally heaved the metal statue inside the pelican and found herself leaning back against the wall for a moment to catch her breath. She cast a nervous glance out of the doors, waiting for the old geezer to show up with Yuri so they can get out of here, she could already feel the building shaking again and she suspected the forces on the ground outside where getting steadily closer as well. Idris jumped when Yuri suddenly appeared next to her seemingly out of nowhere and they finally took off through the roof. Idris glanced out of a window at the ground down below, her eyes widening in surprise as she caught the miniature mecha advancing on the ACS troops.

Gotta get me one of those, she thought

****

The fight had taken a rather interesting turn, rather than simply push and shove each other as seemed to be the accepted way of doing things, the two humans had instead decided to duel each other to decide the final place. Thinking it over it did make an odd sort of sense to the cyborg, duelling did seem to dominate this society in every way imaginable so this didn't seem as far fetched as it should. It would also be a good learning opportunity as Syria was still very new to this game and learning a few new tricks would be extremely helpful, especially if she was to help collect souls for Archetype Earth. She leaned forwards slightly as the duel began, keeping her gaze fixed on the two duellists.

While that may have been a short interval, for Protheus it had been long.
Fifteen seconds.

The duel began. Well, actually it wasn't a duel, or at least not with card games. The Seal of Orichalcos was - not dissimilar the Egyptian ritual to the afterlife - originally based on an actual fight instead of one of card games. There would be an arena modeled around the Seal, and the battlers would battle until one was defeated, where their bodies would then be sacrificed for the Great Leviathan to consume. This was a ritual practiced during the final months of Atlantis, and the Seal was actually a simulation of that.

Archetype Earth didn't have time to play card games. She was in a hurry, and card games had the risk of opponents delaying way too much. Therefore, she had switched the primitive form of the Seal. Combat. Protheus caught on, and launched himself forward at the Archetype with great speed with his sword of time, but she was faster. A green blast of energy threw him against the Seal's barrier, and Archetype Earth reappeared right in front of him to deliver an uppercut punch, throwing him high into the air, halfway breaking through a floor before hitting the barrier from above. Alas, it was a dome barrier.

Thirteen seconds.

Protheus recovered instantaneously. The truth was that he didn't feel pain, or at least his body never felt any. It's only in rare circumstances that he feels pain, either when he's within a mortal body or when something hurts his soul. And so, having recovered, he launched an immediate counterattack, sending dark waves of shadow energy at the Archetype. Of course, they merely bounced off of her, but all of a sudden dark gas began to cover the dome barrier they were within...

Twelve seconds.

"Ah, a shadow game." The woman chuckled. She had knowledge on such things because of the knowledge that the world had granted her, but this was the first time she had seen it in person. The dark energy quickly filled the whole barrier, shadowing her enemy in pitch-black darkness. But of course, such an attempt was pathetic. As she spoke, she let out a green blast of light that engulfed the entirety within the barrier, completely obliterating the shadows. If there had not been a Seal, the attempt would've been futile, but with it in place, there was nothing for her to fear. Not even the shadows themselves.

Nine seconds......!

With the shadows gone, the green light slowly faded away to reveal him, unaffected yet bothered by that green light. Before Archetype Earth could react, he swung his sword at her...but he had underestimated her strength. She was fast enough to react from something so sudden and swift, so fast that she delivered a green blast of energy at him before he could even start the swing. Protheus Maximus couldn't help but be surprised a bit. Not only had she extinguished a shadow game with light that isn't even proper light, but she had also countered his surprise attack.

Eight seconds.

If he could drag her into his own pocket dimension, things would be a lot easier as he could summon Absent Twilight God there and consume this foolish woman. But with the Seal of Orichalcos in place, he was stuck within only a tiny space in some tower. He had been trained to maximize his situation during battle whenever his life was on the line, but this was absolutely ridiculous. There was nothing to maximize here.

Archetype Earth had delivered a beam of green energy that pierced his heart. Protheus, still lost in thought and complaining about his situation, had hardly noticed it. Only then was it obvious that this person was incapable of dying normally. Then...

Six seconds.

Then Archetype Earth appeared right before him and grabbed his neck, wringing it, before tearing it off with glee. She threw the head away triumphantly. "Now...give me your soul! With yours, Faust will accelerate to merely tonight..!!!" She stated, an insane grin now on her face. The body of the man crumbled away like dust.

Unfortunately, there was something she should've done. As she said her words in triumph, she hadn't turned around to look back at the head. If she had, she could've kept on crushing it until the Seal recognized such a thing as defeat. But she hadn't, and Protheus Maximus regenerated from a mere head all the way down to his feet and outfit, soundlessly. He looked behind him and saw a motorcycle appear. Archetype Earth's back was still turned. Well, this was his cue.

"You win." He said, with a slight smirk on his face. The woman turned around in surprise, but then in a grin. Such a thing was counted as surrender, so- "Here, have it."

And he plunged his fist into his own regenerated chest, before taking out a metallic box. It was an absolutely perfect box, with edges as sharp as something unachievable by normal means. Well, there were two small square holes in it, indicating that two parts of his embodied soul was missing. This was the soul of Protheus Maximus, the thing that embodied his existence, and the thing Itsu Solace and co had pieced back together.

So he chipped off a small block of Prothean, before throwing it at the Archetype. It banged against her head, and she was still trying to comprehend the situation. Then he pushed the box back into the hole in his chest, where his body then proceeded to regenerate the hole. The block he had thrown against Arche disappeared with a flash of green light, signifying that a soul had been taken.
The Seal of Orichalcos disappeared, and before the Archetype could reply, he launched one last beam that connected to her and temporary sent her into the Shadow Realm. She'll be stuck there for about two minutes...at most. Then he jumped onto the motorcycle that had appeared near him. "Go."

Luckily, there was still a slight delay from the seconds, and the motorcycle - the one he recognized to be called Caledfwlch - took off into the air,. before entering the Pelican, through the doors that Idris was watching, and then he pulled himself off.

"I must find a new combat style." He muttered. "Ancient Egypt is outdated."

------------------

Archetype Earth had been flabbergasted at the man, who had somehow managed to pull out his own soul, tear off a tiny piece, and use that for the Seal. Still trying to comprehend the situation, she suddenly ended up in a realm which tried to continually torture her with things. She saw the three Legendary Dragons reappearing. She saw herself being defeated by the same woman she thought she had defeated. And she saw a dragon, different from the three Legendary Dragons, defeat the Great Leviathan in space....

Unacceptable.

With a scream of anger, she began to tear down the perpetual darkness, the realm of shadows, with explosions of massive green energy and light.

-.-(<-- Cynthia's expression) Really is that how that old chap thought of women? Well that certainly is troubling though Cynthia.

"Is that really what men think all of women's emotional problems come from menstruation I mean come on!" Cynthia came up from her crying to scold the old man.

"Really she should just wack you across the face with her chair, and what do you mean because I'm a stripper that I can't handle menstruation I hadmy period 2 weeks ago by the way!" Cynthia continued blowing up in Lucas's face.

"Thats like saying that the problems of all men come from a lack of sex!"Cynthia continued with her tyraid.

"Now if your done with the insensitive comments about a woman's body I'm going to go back to dealing my personal problems," she concluded foneally settling down. With her throat raw Cynthia returned to fetal position on the stool and crying.

Caledfwlch spoke into his new rider's mind <As you wish, Master.> and gunned it, Pandora opening the cargo bay doors. The motorcycle and the ancient being almost grazed the Duelhog hanging from the underbelly of the dropship before landing inside of the cargo bay, just barely fitting. Pandora closed the doors and sent the dropship forward and in a downward arc towards the river as to fly low so that they would hopefully avoid detection.

Castle witnessed this, and grabbed a nearby communicator before dialing Selfridge Air National Guard Base, where he had a pair of Predator UAVs waiting under his command. "We have an alien ship here in Detroit, trying to escape the Duel Arcadia. I want it shot down now." He hung up, and the drones started to taxi onto the runway, their controllers ready to shoot down the "alien".

Idris found herself jumping back in surprise as Protheus shot through the open bay doors on a motorcycle, almost knocking her on her back. She regained her balance with an annoyed frown on her face, just managing to hear Protheus mutter something about ancient egypt.

"Nice to see someone who agrees with me," she muttered bitterly "The rest of my family's obsessed with following their ancestor's traditions."

She chewed her lip nervously, if the forces attacking the tower from the ground spotted them then it would be only moment before they made to shoot them down.

"How long till we reach wherever it is we're going?" She called over to Pandora "For that matter, where are we heading for anyway?"

But they wouldn't succeed. Protheus Maximus sat crossed-legged in the center of what they called an 'alien ship', and was chanting something in Ancient Egyptian. A spell. Idris might've been able to understand bits and pieces of it, such as 'protect', or maybe she wouldn't. Maybe she wasn't capable of understanding the language, but it didn't matter overall. What did matter was that Protheus was casting a spell, and an invisible barrier began to surround itself around the ship, protecting it from anything that attempted to shoot it down.

The barrier wasn't invincible, it would probably shatter after five hundred cannons are fired at it, or after Archetype Earth emerged from the realm and came at them with her ridiculous superpowers. But for now, the ship would go unscathed.

Once he was done chanting, he stood back up. "We should be safe for now." He stated.

Yuuto left the run-down building and started walking into the lively part of city. He reached the city in an hour, talking to Kuriboh along the way. "So Kuriboh..." Yuuto was interrupted by Kuriboh jumping up and down on his head. "What is it?" Yuuto asked. Kuriboh started floating toward a tall Duel Arcadia building. Yuuto followed knowing that Kuriboh felt something coming from it. They continued on there way, and then saw a spaceship flying through the sky. "What the hell?" Yuuto asks himself. Then he continues toward the building with Kuriboh. When they approached the building Kuriboh flew back into the deck to hide."Well, this is it." Yuuto said as he walked through the doors.

Archetype Earth tore down the shadows and the darkness. With pure energy, she flooded a vast dimension with green light, and the nightshrouded beings of darkness ran as far away from her as possible. She was screaming in anger, refusing to accept these visions that kept tormenting her as long as she stayed within the realm. Slowly, piece by piece, the fabric of the Shadow Realm's reality and existence began to unravel, and then - yes, a gap. A gap back to whence she had came. At last, a gap to escape...! And she flew through it.

Emerging through them, she found herself back at the entrance of the Tower, slightly shaky. She could no longer sense the life energies of anyone on the roof, but she could sense Castle.

And right in front of her was a strange little mortal. She was still slightly dazed from the realm's torture, so for a moment her thinking wasn't linear, and for a moment it didn't occur to her that she should be absorbing his soul.

"Why are you standing there?" She asked Yuuta, before turning her gaze to the brown-furred spirit floating above. "You too. Go help Castle search for the aliens, or else they'll end up bringing that army here which'll destroy the world."

Your dreams are hopeless, little girl. The Great Leviathan will fall. A dark voice echoed in her head.

STOP THAT! I AM THE MOST POWERFUL BEING ON THE PLANET! I TORE DOWN YOUR REALM! I AM THE BEST OF BOTH WORLDS!

Yuuto stared at the girl. "You mean you're one of those duelists whose been stealing souls?" he yelled back. "If you are then come down and duel me. I'll take you on without even breaking a sweat," he gloated. Kuriboh popped his head out of the deck and closed his eyes and shook his head disappointedly. Yuuto stuck out his arm and his duel disk went into dueling position. He looked at Kuriboh. "Don't worry little buddy. We'll survive." Then Watapon popped out of the deck and starred at Kuriboh. Then they both re-entered the deck. I'll show these no good duelists. She won't be stealing souls when I'm done with her. Yuuto thought.

Idris gave Protheus a quizzical look as he sat down and started chanting something she recognized as a barrier spell, she could practically feel it encasing the ship as he finished his chant. Idris gave a short shrug and sat down on the floor.

"So what now then?" She asked "Your barrier spell isn't going to last if they have enough firepower and, given how crazy prepared they are I'd imagine they do, so where are we going and what the hell do you plan to do when we get there?"

She averted her gaze slightly from the others in a slight effort to keep the markings down the right side of her face out of view of the rest, a subconscious habit she often had when talking with other people.

Yuuta's action was foolish. Archetype Earth finally regained herself with those words.

And she was shocked. Here was some random duelist, and he was challenging her fearlessly. This was something even more incomprehensible than what the Shadow Realm had shown her. In fact, he was so ridiculous that she had to stand there for a few minutes there in shock. This guy...was so absolutely ridiculous...did he honestly know...who he was talking to...?!

She laughed. The most powerful being in the world laughed, an uncontrollable fit of laughter. This was just so honestly amazingly surprisingly funny that such a silly little puny spirit-seeing Mutou-descending cocky innocent kiddy brattish kid like him would actually dare to stand up to her, actually believing that he stands the tiniest tiniest miniscule nonzero chance against the most powerful amazing superpowered knowledgable champion of the world like her...? HAAHAHAAAAAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHA

He probably didn't, and she stopped laughing straightaway. People like this were rare, but she will have to correct him.

"I am Archetype Earth, herald of the Faust comet, leader of the Cult of Orichalcos, and champion of the world." She announced as matter-of-fact. "My pure aim is to advance Earth's technology, and achieve world peace. I give you one chance to join us. We may need somebody like you..." Then she remembered the Kuriboh. "Actually, we will definitely need somebody like you. You see, you and I are alike. We both have duel monster spirits, and we can both see them - my partner happens to be a gigantic serpent. We may be the only ones in the city capable of such a thing. So how about it, friend?"

She extended out her hand for a handshake in an act of kindness, ignoring Yuuta having taken a dueling stance. Perhaps only now he was realizing that this woman's power was equivalent to that of a god. Or perhaps he was so thick that he couldn't comprehend even that. Even so, she couldn't help but admire the bravado of this foolish little spirit boy.

"Please join us, for the sake of the world."

---------------------------------

Protheus shrugged back.

"I cast another one. Well, it depends. The recharge of the barrier spell takes about twenty minutes, so I'm hoping for the barrier to last until then." He stated, before noticing her gesture to hide the markings on her face. He couldn't help but chuckle a little. "I just noticed. Those markings. They're a little different from the ones we used to have, but they're quite similar. You must be descended from the Ancient Egyptians, I suppose." He then pulled up his sleeve, to reveal tattoos all over it. "I was born during those times. I was a slave before a fugitive, a fugitive before being a boy lost in time." Then he glanced at Yuri, a smile on his face. "Not unlike that girl there, I had to adapt from Ancient Egypt to modern life."

Lucas was watching the duel and then a loud nagging voice came across his ear. He looked around to see who it was and it was the stripper with the heart of gold..or a mouth garbage, something like that. Since she insisted on preaching about something he decided to actually listen. "Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, I'm a stripper like you said father issues blah blah I can't handle menstruation oh, right again she's a mind reader too, maybe that's how she gets more stripper money, she reads peoples minds while she's on the pole and sees who's brought 20 dollar bills instead of singles. Very clever young one. By this point in his thought process Cynthia was done with her tirade and went back to crying. Lucas however (still thinking he never said the stripper and the prostitute joke out loud) was now intrigued by the girls mind reading powers. Were they voluntary or did she just get lucky maybe she can be suggested to do things. Lucas then looked back at the ring but thought real hard about controlling Cynthia.

Yuuto stared at the hand, then pushes it away. "And I am Yuuto Diasu. Descendant of Yugi Muto. I need to stop you for the sake of world. I fight for all that is good and worthy. I fight for my deck and for all duelists everywhere. For that same purpose I will defeat you." A fierceness takes form in his eyes. "Now, Duel me or forfeit!" Yuuto draws 5 cards from his deck and stands, ready to duel. Kuriboh and Watapon come out of the deck. Each one rests on either side of Yuuto. "C'mon you two. Let's win this." Yuuto turns to Archetype "IT'S TIME TO DUEL!" Yuuto stares at Archetype, waiting for a reaction.

"Look, kid. Here's what's going to happen." She said, in an attempt to explain to him. "I'm going to activate my Seal of Orichalcos first, so you won't be able to escape," she wagged a card in front of the ridiculous little human, the infamous Seal that steals people's souls. "Then I'm going to activate Deuteros and Tritos, secondary layers, meaning not even if you posssessed the Egyptian Gods would you win," she wagged another two cards in front of him. "Then I'm gonna overlay them all by each other and summon the embodient of Faust," then she wagged another card at him, one with epic artwork of a gigantic green serpent...oh, and the ATK and DEF was listed as INFINITY, "see, foolish little child, it cannot be destroyed except by another monster with infinite ATK, and I can never lose as long as it's on the field. Also, none of your card effects will work on it, so go figure. And then I'll attack you directly with it, and your soul will be absorbed by the Seal of Orichalcos."

Having finished her explanation, she placed the four cards that signified her victory back into her deck.

"Are you honestly QUITE sure that you can win this?" She asked him, now genuinely intrigiued.

Yuuto, not wanting to give up so easily, decides to play annoying. "What happens if you shuffle your deck? Then those cards wouldn't be on the top of your deck, so you wouldn't be able to activate them all on the first turn. You basically just said that your going to win by cheating. And If you're going to do that, then shouldn't I be allowed to cheat and beat you on the first turn? I bet that the only way you could beat me is if you used your Orichalcos cards. YOu couldn't beat ANYONE without them." Yuuto taunts. "While I on the other hand could beat you, without your Orichalcos cards, without my god cards." Yuuto decides that if he angers the entity, then maybe she would get weaker out of anger.

"Very well." Unimpressed by his amazingly courageous yet boring answer, Archetype Earth put the cards in her hand into the Extra Deck slot in her Duel Disk, where they wouldn't be used. Then she took out two more copies of the Seal, and also placed them into her Duel Disk. "I shall not steal your soul just yet. Personally, I don't like taking advantage of stupid little innocent people who have no idea what sort of situation they're actually in." Then she drew five cards from her deck. "I will show you my power, without the Divine Serpent."

"I start my turn, activating the Ritual Spell card Orichalcos Mirror, sending the Level 6 Timeater to the grave to Ritual Summon Mirror Knight Calling!" Then, in front of her appeared a large diamond gem, floating without support. (ATK 0) "When it's summoned, I can bring forth four Mirror Knight Tokens. By its effect I place four Shield Counters on each of them. Each one, if it should be destroyed, can negate its destruction by removing a Shield Counter. Not only that, but each time it's selected as an attack target its ATK reflects that of your monster's." Four knights clad in armor made of a mirror-esque metallic material appeared onto the field (ATK 0 -> 500), "I set a card, and end my turn."

She waved her hand for a moment.

"I am showing you multiple acts of mercy, just so you know, child." She stated. "First, I didn't obliterate you and steal your soul stragithaway. Second, I offered you a chance to join us. Third, I am not running the Seal of Orichalcos. Fourth, I am not running Divine Serpent. Fifth, I took the first turn so I could let you make your only move." She closed her eyes, and focused on the tower around her, which began to shake about as if there was an earthquake, demonstrating just how far her power went to this little kid. "And sixth, I'm trying to send it to your thick skull exactly what I am capable of, so you can understand. I hate taking down targets who didn't know what they were up for."

Pandora flew the Pelican, with Protheus, Idris, Kurai, Yuri, Natsu, and Caledfwlch inside, through the Detroit skies, using the piloting overlay Ringmistress gave her. She turned on the speakers and asked Protheus. "Dad, you said they were attacking the Duel Arcadia in order to get Mom's body, right? Then why are they still fighting if we took the body with us?"

Ringmistress was wondering the same question as she used her proxy pilot to maneuver the mech, called "Exocet" in her files, through the mock carnival. He had proven rather effective, and had even managed to score a few kills. However, his shields were running low, and the ACS troopers would tear him apart if they managed to trap him. Furthermore, the elite soldiers were tearing apart Ringmistress' ragtag mechanical militia faster than she could dig robots out of storage, activate them, give them a MacGyver'd weapon, and send them out. With each inch they took from her, it was an inch closer to the Tower. And Castle's subordinate commanders were calling in some regular troops to support the ACS units. Ringmistress ran the numbers, and finally resigned to the fact that the humans' victory was not a matter of if, but when. She then activated an emergency application within herself: a duplication program that would churn out a near-perfect duplicate of the files that made her up. Now that the sentient beings she had been tasked with protecting were gone, she could focus on saving herself, as well as making sure they got as few secrets from the Tower as possible.

Idris clapped a hand over the markings down her face, making a tad more obvious the markings on the back of her hands, when Protheus noticed them. She merely gave an uninterested shrug in response, giving the tatoos on his own arm a brief glance.

"Family tradition," she muttered bitterly "My family's descended from the guardians of the sacred court and know pretty much everything there is to know about the shadow games and any of the other legends surrounding the Pharaoh. I guess you could say we're like the Tomb Keepers only we don't live underground."

She said all this with a very monotone and uninterested tone of voice as if reading out an old school essay that she had to get over with. She eventually took her hand away from her face.

"....well." Protheus was clueless at first, but he came up with an explanation in the end. "Perhaps they think they can access Itsu Solace's secret files and folders. Afterall, such a famous timetraveler must have technology that can boost their forces to no end. Not to mention time travel and space travel. If they get those, with the Orichalcos, the multiverse is probably doomed..." He paused for a moment. He was contradicting himself. But at the same time, that little statement gave him an idea...yes...yes...but he will have to keep this idea to himself, at least until the end of this roleplay thread. "However, Ringmistress, do you care to confirm the status of those files?"

Then he turned to Idris, and his smile returned a little. "I served the Pharaoh's father personally. I did see Prince Atem in person though-" He stopped. Dammit. He just spoiled to her a gigantic secret that was guarded and kept for three to five thousand years. "Perhaps you still have much to learn. There's a lot more to shadow games and to the tradition than your family probably remembered. I may teach them to you someday. Who knows?"

"My turn. Draw!" Yuuto draws a card and adds it to his hand. "First I'll summon Gazzelle King of Mythical Beasts in defense mode." A wolfish, bearish like creature with a horn and claws came out of a card and took a defensive position. "Then, I'll activate Emblem of Dragon Destroyer, which lets me add one Buster Blader from my hand to my deck." The hilt of a sword comes out of the ground, then a card came out of it and landed in Yuuto's hand. "Finally I'll set two cards and end my turn." Two face down cards appear on the ground and then disappear. "Your move. Go." Yuuto stares at his cards and smirks.

Ringmistress replied to Protheus' question. "I created a daemon, a 'Disk And Execution MONitor', that I have dubbed 'Glasya', and distributed him through cyberspace. His job will be to protect the heavily-encrypted data Itsu has gathered. I am also in the process of copying myself, who will be broken up into nodes and seeded across several different machines. This Pelican will be one of them. All of the Dimensional Doors are offline and sabotaged, meaning they can't get through to Aelflaed, Mythworld, Nowhere, and other locales Itsu had connected to the tower. And I am purposefully corrupting my own files to make sure they can't put me back together...It's been an honor serving you, Mister Maximus..."

"Okay, my turn." Archetype replied in a dull tone. "I activate the spell card Orichalcos Corruption-Swap, which allows me to switch all my monsters with all of yours, and we can destroy other set cards we control equal to the cards we swapped. Sine I swapped five, my Mirror Knight Calling and four Tokens, I select to destroy merely two cards: your two set cards. They will go, as somebody might say, 'boom'." Then they exploded. "In return, I get your Gazelle, King of Mythical Beasts, a Normal Monster if I may add." She crossed her arms. "Since you only swapped one, you can choose to destroy my set card. But it's alright, you won't need to see it."

Then her set card flipped open.

"Now I switch Gazelle to Attack Position, and have it attack your Mirror Knight Token." She stated. "You were a fool for summoning a normal monster. Actually, if you weren't so thoroughly stupid, you might've lasted a bit longer, but since you are..Mirror Knight Token's effect activates automatically, so you can't stop it."

Then Yuuta was forced to watch as it collided against his new shiny Mirror Knight Token, whose ATK rose to match it (ATK 1500). He could select to destroy it by not removing a Shield Counter, but in any case that was a stupid choice.

"Now that Gazelle has been destroyed by battle, I can bring out Orichalcos Shuneros." She continued, and out appeared a green ancient robotic thing...whose ATK rose to 4000 or 5000 in conjecture with the monsters Yuuta now controlled. "Victory is mine. Shuneros, destroy Mirror Knight Calling." And before he could comprehend it, a powerful laser beam engulfed the diamond that shielded him from harm, and sent him flying back all the way back outside of the tower, decreasing his Life Points to zero. (Yuuta LP: 0)

"Quite boring..." Arche muttered to herself, before taking out a remote. "Castle dear, are you there? I want you to explain exactly how a little kid managed to reach a tower all alone, while you had me waste my energy come here faster than normal to help you get in. And you better have a good excuse too." Then she waited for a reply.

After the Ringmistress's explanation, Protheus clapped his hands and turned back to his daughter. "There, you see? Everything went absolutely alright. Nothing to worry about."

Castle frowned as he heard his superior on the other end. "I have no idea. We have the bridge secured from both ends. The only way the kid could've gotten onto the island is if he flew. Anyways, we're having a bit of trouble taking down this mech. Mind if I divert the Predators heading to destroy the aircraft Itsu's allies are flying to attack this mech?"

Ringmistress sighed happily. "Indeed. And the city will keep having power thanks to the-" She stopped and was silent before she emitted a rapid series of numbers. "01000110 01110101 01100011 01101011 00100001" She sighed and told Protheus. "The Ener-D reactor! Underneath the tower! The one that powers not only Duel Arcadia Island, but the whole Z-onedamn city! They wanted the reactor all along! And I can't do anything to stop them at this stage!"

Yuuto slid outside the tower. "Dammit! How did I lose?" Kuriboh and Watapon sat up and flew back into the deck. "It's ok guys. I'll beat her someday. That was pretty powerful though. How could anyone ever get such power?" Yuuto left and Kuriboh popped back out of the deck and scrunched his face up. "What are you doing?" Yuuto asked. Just then a laser shot toward them, but luckily a shield coming from Kurubih blocked it just in time. "Woah! I guess I walked into more than I bargained for." Yuuto ran away hoping that no more lasers would cross his path. When he finally thought he was safe he looked through his deck to make sure his cards were too.

Solomon couldn't hold back the laughter he had held in from the start of the duel. Solomon has always dueled with half effort but now he has finally meet with someone he could call strong someone who he could duel without any regrets. It was the same with his mentor all those years back maybe it would be a good idea to see what this guy was doing and join him on his quest. He looked up and try to think of what to say to Arta but Arta had went to go get something to eat for the both of them and he looked like he was waiting for him to order. "Star I will have another cup of black tea and something sweet maybe some pie and Arta thanks for the lovely duel I guess I still have a lot to learn and master before I can become strong right?" Solomon laughed it was one of the first times that he could feel a sort of happiness "So Arta where you heading cause i feel like going on an adventure if you don't mind"
