Return of the Orichalcos (Finishing/PG-13/IC)

Recommended Posts

Even though Solomon was still a kid he had learned to adapt quickly without his mother thanks to the help of his mentor. He could see that the duel wasn't going to be easy and that was enough to clear his mind and focus. He felt his concentration tighten and begin to narrow down, His brain began to mentally preparing for the battle ahead not slowing down but racing with information. He finally closed his eyes and with a sip of tea and a deep breath he was ready.

" Well then I might have to tell you I am happy that you choose to go all out on me. That means I can focus more and pass proper judgment" Solomon activated his duel disk and the hum of machinery springing to life bathed the Cafe with its light tone he drew his bottom card and it was a magic card. " Alright I pulled a magic so what did you get?"

It was only a matter of time Solomon could feel it this man would become a key player in a battle very soon and he made a mental not to use that to his advantage. More importantly he thought this is a start of our friendship and as if the horror of the cult and the death of his mother just lifted Solomon felt kind of happy.

"So you ready yet or what? I'm a little impatient if i have you know when it comes to dueling"

"I got a monster, Atlas. I think that means I am first." Arta said with a sly smile.

Arta drew his six cards from his deck. "First I will activate the spell card Terraforming. I am sure you know what it does but just to be safe It allows me to add one field spell card from my deck to my hand. I will be adding the field spell 'City of Tyrants' to my hand." Arta pulled 'City of Tyrants' out from his deck and placed it into his hand.

"Next I will set two cards and summon my 'Diplomat of the Tyrant'. My Diplomat makes it where no monsters with 1400 attack or less can attack." Arta looked over the cards in his had once more before continuing.

"I end my turn, your go." At the end of Arta's turn the effect of the coffee shop activated taking away 500 of his life points.

"... and who the hell is this chick...?" Carla thought to herself, somewhat miffed at being called a "mistress" by this new girl. Still, it did seem that she was aware of their affiliation, so she couldn't be that bad... ... ... oh, screw it, the girl seemed about as stable as the garden variety drones.

... oh well, can't be helped, she supposed. "Hello... person-I-could-care-less-about," Carla curtly replied. Seconds later, Carla's attention was seized by the cheering of the viewers, turning her gaze toward the wrestling ring, where a pretty, young Hispanic woman stood in the center.

"Ladies and gentleman," spoke Vivian Morales into a microphone, "welcome to today's special afternoon show of DRAW Supershow!" The crowd cheered loudly. "Today's first match will be a 10-Man Battle Royale; in this match, competitors are eliminated when thrown over the top rope and both feet make contact with the ground. The last man standing will be named Number 1 Contender, and go on to face Slade Thorton in tonight's Main Event for the World Heavyweight Championship!" With that, Vivian exited the ring, just as the competitors made their way to the ring one-by-one. Each competitor does get an introduction, but for the sake of time and the sanity of the Powers That Be, we fast-forward to the actual match.

"Ok my turn I draw and I summon Dark Night Judge Fisher in Atk mode his effect is one this card is normal summon I can discard a card from my hand to special summon 1 level 3 or lower monster with 1300 or less Atk in face up Defense position I discard Dark Night Judge Lancer to the graveyard. Then I summon Dark Night Judge Fighter to the field in face up defense position. Then Dark Night Judge Fishers 2nd effect says I must discard a card from my hand when a creature is special summoned. Come on out Dark Night Judge Shaman in Atk position and thanks to Dark Night Judge Fisher's effect I discard another card this time Dark Night Judge Jester is sent to the grave" Solomon gave a smile back he could tell by Arta's reaction that this match was going to be a good one.

"Next I set 1 card and end my turn your move" Solomon took 500 points of damage due to coffee shops effect

Idris reached the top of the steps behind the rest and took a moment to catch her breath, it didn't seem like the cultists had been able to breach the tower yet so they still had a good few minutes to prepare. A sudden thought struck her as she examined the surrounding room and the other members of the part as they made their various preperations.

"Hey, where'd the Aztec go?" Idris asked, referring to Yuri.

****

Syria sat up attentively as it seemed they where about to start. Her attention became focused on the woman standing atop a peculiar looking stage that had been erected in the field, announcing the following events and explaining the rules; they seemed simple enough, ten people would attempt to force each other off the stage until only one was left. She had seen other worlds and species where it was often the norm to engage in combat as a way to establish leadership, terratory or perhaps even attract mates so this practice was nothing new to her, the fact that it seemed to be an organized event and publicised as to attract a sizeable crowd did interest her though as she had seen very few other species where this was the case, humans where obviously a bit more advanced compares to the other races she had witnessed. She paid close attention as each of the participants where introduced, keeping an unbroken gaze fixed on the main stage and waiting for them to start. She noticed a few people in the crowd cheering when certain people entered the stage, possibly in support or admiration, she would have to investigate these things further as the events proceeded but for now she focused her attention back to the stage.

"Okay my go." Arta said as he drew his card. "I will activate the spell card 'Memories of Ozymandias'. Each time one of my Tyrant monsters are removed from play I place one counter on this card. I can send this card to the graveyard to draw one card for each counter on it. Next I will activate my field spell 'City of Tyrants'. For each monster removed from play all of my 'Tyrant monsters gain 300 attack and defense. Now I activate my face-down 'Empire of the Titans'. As long as 'Empire of the Titans' is face up on the field you cannot negate the activation of any of my 'Tyrant' cards. Next I special summon 'Tyrant Queen' to the field. Her effect also allows me to special summon one 'Tyrant King' from my deck. So rise my 'Tyrant King'." As Arta said this a man appeared on the field sitting in a throne made of gold.

Tyrant Queen: 1100/800
Tyrant King 2300/1800

"My 'Tyrant King' has a special ability, I draw five cards from to top of my deck. I chose one of them to add to my hand and banish the rest. For each monster that I banish with this effect 'Tyrant King' gains 100 attack." Arta drew the five cards and chose one, the rest he removed from the game.

"Sadly I didn't get any monsters to banish. I now activate the spell card 'Tyrant's Ego'. I can now special summon one Tyrant monster from my deck. I choose my 'Tyrant's Royal Guard'. As long as my royal guard is on the field you cannot attack another Tyrant monster. Now I activate my other face down card, 'Trap Stun'. For the remainder of this turn all trap cards are negated. Now then I attack. My Diplomat will attack your Dark Night Judge Shaman, my Queen will attack your Dark Night Judge Fisher, my Royal Guard will attack your Dark Night Judge Fighter. To finish this off my Tyrant King will attack you directly. Now I set one card and end my turn."

At the end of his turn Tyrant's Royal Guard vanished and one counter was placed on 'Memories of Ozymandias'

Ringmistress suddenly realized that Yuri had gone off and groaned in frustration. Once she double-checked the security logs, it turned out Yuri had managed to acquire some powered armor of her own and was going to confront the soldiers trapped on the other side of the river. She created an avatar next to Idris and asked her. "Idris, could you go and fetch Yuri? This is a flight, not a fight. We'll pick you two up once you catch up to her."

Ringmistress then checked on Pandora, who was doing a flight check. "Almost ready?" "Yeah, but this 'Duelhog' we're carrying is going to be a pain to carry." She indicated to the olive-green jeep-like vehicle hanging from the Pelican by a set of magnetic clamps. "However, I think it's going to be useful to have with us."

Atsuko gulped as she headed for the roof. "Thanks for having my back." She told Alexander, and once they reached the roof, she announced. "SHOW YOURSELF!!!"

"Ok Draw I activate pot of greed from my hand and draw 2 more cards. Then I use Dark Night Judge Lancer effect and summon him from the graveyard then I discard messenger from my hand to decrease Lancer's atk but allows him to atk directly. Then I special summon Dark Night Judge messenger from the grave and discard a card to gain pot of greed from my hand. I activate pot of greed and draw 2 more cards. Then Xyz summon by overlaying Dark Night Judge Lancer and Dark Night Judge Messenger. XYZ SUMMON! Grenosauras In atk Mode and since i used Messenger as part of an Xyz summon I can search for one spell card in my deck. I search for pot of greed I activate it and draw 2 more cards to my hand.I then use Dark World Lighting and Discard Dark World Enforcer to destroy your face down spell card in response i also use Dark world enforcers effect and discard Dark world Fighter to special Dark World Judge Enforcer to the field in Def position I switch him to Atk position. If he is special summoned by effect he cant be destroyed in battle. Ok now I Special summon Dark Night Judge Fighter from the grave due to his effect in Atk position.... Now that my field is set I Atk with Grenosauras destroy Diplomat of the Tyrant. Then I remove one of my Xyz materials to deal a 1000 points of Damage. Next up is Dark Night Judge Enforcer he Atks Tyrant Queen. Finally I activate Dark Scheme We both Discard 2 cards and then draw 2 cards and since I don't have anything to discard i just draw 2 cards. Then I activate Dark Night Judge Jester's effect by discarding a card from my hand and banishing Jester I can gain an effect based on the discarded card and I discard Dark world Dealings so its effect is when I discard a spell or trap card my opponent must reveal there hand and discard every spell and trap they have and for every spell and trap discarded they take 300 points of damage."

Solomon let out a small sigh of relief he knew he wouldn't been in that situation if he had focused more instead of trying to show off his cards like that and it was only sheer luck that he was able to survive an Atk of that magnitude the first round. He was betting on Jester To pull through for him and remove at least one of his opponents cards if not no doubt the next turn was going to be even tougher than the first. OK all he had to do now was pull through and Focus

Arta smiled at this, the Solomon kid was playing well. Arta drew his card and knew that it was time to end this fun game.

"It has been quite fun but now I need to end it, so then, first I will play a card you might know. Pot of Greed." Arta drew two more cards from his deck. "Now I summon my 'Tyrant's Foot Soldier'. Tyrant's foot solider has an effect that allows me to summon up to two more from my deck. So say hello to my other two Tyrant's Foot Soldiers. Next I activate the spell card 'Offering to the Titans'. This spell card can only be activated while I control a 'City of Tyrants', 'Empire of the Titans', and a 'Tyrant King' on my side of the field. I sacrifice and banish my 'Tyrant King' and two other Tyrant monsters to special summon one Titan from my hand, deck or graveyard. And I choose 'Okeanos, the Titan of the Sea'." As Arta spoke a merman appeared on the field. This merman towered over all the monsters on Solomon's field by a good four inches (a lot for a game with Chibi monsters).
"Here is how it works, when Okeanos hits the field he negates and banishes all cards on your side of the field, so all your monsters effects are negated." Arta gave Solomon a little smirk at this.

"Also, once per turn I can negate and banish a spell, trap, or monster effect. Fortunately for you I can't attack or draw for the next two turns so I set one card and end my turn. Your go."

Cynthia smirked at the fact she had succeeded in pissing the other girl off, and though she didn't show it Cynthia could tell the girl was pissed.

"I see you don't lose your cool easily, though it is a little weird that your hanging out with a man 30 years older then yourself, I mean nothing by what I said because I'm sure this is just buiness," pointing between the 2 people sitting in front of her.

"Oh and besides I think your pretty anyway to be honest I'm jealous I wish I could look that good on a daily basis," Cynthia siad in an attempt to be friendly.

"Don't try to hide as I'm well aware that you are both cultists thanks to my lovely little Seal of Orichalcos," Cynthia said smiling smiling smugly.

"So anyway geezer you got a chair for me or do I have to sit in the grass," she said smiling sweetly at the man.

"Really~? I honestly couldn't tell~!" Carla snarked in regards to the girl's knowledge of she and Lucas being part of the cult as well. "Seriously, sweetie, you could be a little less straightforward with these kinds of things. You can get yourself in a lot of trouble that way, not that I really give a flying frak-nugget about what happens to you. No offense~ Now shush, I'm trying to watch these half-naked guys beat each other... up," Carla demanded, throwing in that last word in an awkward manner, as she returned her attention to the match.

So far, two competitors were already eliminated from the match, and the gigantic Grand Event was working on making Russell the third elimination by forcing him off the apron. Russell, however, countered with a headbutt which disoriented Grand Event enough to allow the Irish-Latino to slip back into the ring. Meanwhile, on the opposite side of the ring, War Garvas (Gabriel) managed to evade Da Zim's attempt at clothes-lining him over the top rope, the momentum of Zim's charge sending him flying out of the ring instead, much to the satisfaction of the cheering fans.

"... wait, those two guys...," Carla began musing to herself, her focus on Gabriel and Russell, "... those are the two I saw last night, at the diner."

The match continued on for the next fifteen minutes, all the while each of the competitors were eliminated one-by-one (War Garvas managed to eliminate two at the same time at one point), until the only wrestlers remaining were Russell, War Garvas and Grand Event, all three of them staring each other down as they contemplated their next move. During this, War Garvas and Russell were staring at each other, a look on each of their faces saying, "Am I really going to have to ring you out?", then both looked back at Grand Event, then back to each other. Russell, with a smirk and a shrug, motioned with his arm as if to tell Garvas, "After you," getting a short laugh out of the masked wrestler.

Suffice to say, Grand Event wasn't having any of that comedy routine; the behemoth charged right for War Garvas, tackling the unsuspecting masked man in the abdomen with a force that could've broken an ordinary person in two. "HEY!" Russell shouted angrily as he attacked Grand Event in retaliation, forcing the giant wrestler closer and closer toward the ropes as Garvas attempted to recover. During Russell's barrage, Grand Event blocked one of his punches and delivered a headbutt straight to Russell's forehead, causing the Irish-Latino to reel back, disoriented, even having to take a knee. It seemed as if Grand Event was about to make his next move, but then Garvas, in a last-ditch effort, came charging forward, using the kneeling Russell as leverage to take to the air, the crowd going insane as he delivered a powerful knee to Grand Event's jaw. The momentum of the attack finally sent the giant over the top rope and falling to the ground below, Garvas looking on with a smile that he couldn't bring himself to hide.

Admittedly, Garvas did think it was over, until he turned around to see Russell, on his feet once again and with a mischievous smirk on his face. "... well, crap," Garvas uttered as the crowd reacted with just as much shock. "I guess we are gonna have to do this after all."

"Eeeyup," Russell replied as the two of them began pacing around the ring, staring each other down once more. "Question now is, "What would be the most fitting way to resolve this problem?""

First Protheus nodded a a question.

Then he frowned as he watched Yuri leave bravely on her own, and held out an arm to stop Idris. "No, I will go." He stated firmly. "If she does encounter the enemy, I'm the one with the greatest chance of bringing her back." And before anyone could protest, he darted off into the exact direction he saw the Aztec go.

For a moment, he winced. For a moment, yet another familiar feeling. Shadows. The shadows that he lived on. The Earthbound Immortals...they shouldn't be here, but one was heading here right now.

This wasn't good. If he ended up in the presence of both Pandora and Kurai, the Seal of Orichalcos, as well as an Itsu from the Arcadia Movement incident, AND THEN an Earthbound Immortal as well...he very well just might suffer a lapse. And such a thing could prove extremely fatal for anyone on this world.

He caught up to her, seeing that she was armored. He couldn't help but smile a little. "If I didn't know that Solace had been defeated on this barren wasteland, I probably would've acted the same way as you." He admitted. "But we are to go back, do you understand-"

-----------------------

A green beam of light appeared over the sky of Detroit, traveling at high speed towards the Duel Arcadia Tower. It was small, so the people below must've probably assumed that it was actually a meteorite from Faust far above. That is, until it crashed into tower.

Archetype Earth had arrived.

"Here I am, Castle." She announced, emerging from the hole and floating down. Her eyes glowed and a bridge made of false Orichalcum was formed to replace the sinking one. It was 'false' Orichalcum because although it looked the same as real ones, it had none of the same properties. She was capable of converting carbon dioxide in the air into this 'false' material, which was still quite solid, although it crumbled away after half an hour.

Letting them pass through, she didn't stop to further talk with them. There was nothing to be said. She darted back up into the sky like a Dragonball Z character and once again flew into the hole formed by the crash. Having taken a shortcut to defenses, she looked around, searching for them while waiting for the soldiers downstairs. They were merely reinforcements in a way.

Ringmistress was in a state of panic. Even with all of the power she had concentrated in the shields in the spot the meteor was supposed to hit, the tower was penetrated like the shields were nothing. The reactor was having a hissy fit from the shields breaking, causing power to flicker on and off inside of the tower. The D-Doors were offline, and Ringmistress scrambled the coordinates to make sure no one found a way to connect them with the other ends, and reveal the secrets within. And the intruder, the one who turned Itsu into a mythril statue, was 25 floors below in a meeting room. Ringmistress now knew that if she tore apart the shields like they were nothing, 25 floors of reinforced bulkheads were child's play to her.
So Ringmistress started her Scorched Earth plan, creating several fake groups, each generated through Solid Vision holograms. Three of these groups loaded up in robot jester-controlled vans that were going to try and run the gauntlet of the newly-rebuilt bridge, while two other groups got onto a pair of speedboats docked near the Loading Bay. Other fake groups moved throughout the building as if to try and find a way out. Ringmistress was desperately trying to buy the humans the precious seconds they needed to escape, but wasn't sure it would work. Meanwhile, she had a lot of things to safeguard, and scant minutes to do it in.

Natsu saw Protheus take off, but turned to Idris. "We have to go. Now." She motioned for Idris to go as she grabbed the statue of Itsu. She grunted, slowly lifting the heavy metal woman, then started to carry her to the Pelican one step at a time. When the tower was impacted, she stabilized herself, almost tumbling into a window, but proceeded forwards and up the stairs towards the heliport.

Pandora finished her pre-flight check, then announced over the Pelican's internal speakers. "This is Three To Get Ready about to takeoff. Anyone who wants to get out of this tower has 30 seconds to get on board." Above the Pelican, the circular hatch started to open, its scything segments parting to give the dropship a clear path up.

Castle smirked at Archetype's announcement and bridge replacement, and ordered. "All units, move out." The thirty Armored Combat Suit operators rushed across the bridge, special wheels on the feet of their suits propelling them over the river to to the island. The various vehicles accompanying them followed suit.

No sooner had Idris announced that Yuri had gone missing, Ringmistress popped up next to her, instructing her to go after Yuri. Before she could however Protheus stepped in front of her.

"Hey!" Idris was about to respond but he already left soon after, leaving Idris behind with the rest "Worst day of my friggin' life."

A sudden impact then shook the building, causing the lights to flicker briefly, Idris quickly made to grab the statue Natsu was carrying before she managed to fall over.

"What the hell was that?" She asked aloud as she aided Natsu carrying the mythril statue up.

Syria's gaze was still fixed on the stage as the participants began their brawl, their numbers dwindling by the minute until there where only three left. It wasn't until she got a clear view of them that Syria recognized the two humans she'd encountered the previous night. So this must be what they meant when they said they where wrestlers. After a close call with the third survivor in the ring the two where the only ones left standing and began pacing around each other, sizing one another up. Syria watched with interest, paying close attention to their movements and facial expressions.

Lucas was busy in contemplation deliberating over the fact that Carla made it to the same location on a whim while he was out for blood sport. Surely with her dueling talents she would harvest a great many souls here and would succeed vigorously. Lucas was about to respond with his motives and acknowledge her frustration when this little straightforward brat decided to mysteriously introduce herself.

"...dinosaur and mistress..."
Oh look the imp child chose to lead with insults Lucas didn't even deign to reply as he just looked at Carla to see what she was going to say. Of course Carla came back rather dignified which made Lucas uncharacteristically impressed in the young flirtatious one. Then this new manner-less wart continued to keep spewing word vomit and to make it worse the show was starting. Lucas decided this conversation should be put on hold till the end of the show.

Okay first of all I should thank you, by introducing yourself in such a manner I don't have to wonder if you were raised in what society would call a decent upbringing. I will just guess...wolves, apes...maybe circus folk where you went to clown college instead of finishing school. Pity truly a pity. Second that card you hold pointing to the Seal of Orichalcos does nothing for us pointing to Carla and himself but prove that children should have a strictly monitored bedtime as anyone who stays up late and watches TV on a certain channel can get one of those. Congratulations, you went from being uninteresting to regular. By this point Vivian had started to announce so Lucas rolled his eyes and cut to chase. As for the seat here you can take this fold out stool. He pulled a fold out stool from under him almost like a cartoon character reaching for something random behind their back. It was meant for his feet but it was wide enough to sit on. You will look as if you are of lower status than us but lets be honest...you are now sit down. He said as if it was a father disciplining his spoiled brat of a daughter.

Oddly enough as he inhaled this whole event he realized to anyone who was looking on he would either look like a sugar daddy with one of his "women's" illegitimate children or he would look like someones granddad taking his daughter and granddaughter to a show in the park. The latter made him think of time he did have with his own family. Of course his grandson wasn't some out of control cult brat who needed to be slapped across the mouth a couple of times rather it was still a simpler time. As young Cynthia sat down (because lets face it if she didn't a belt was probably going to come across that behind) Lucas gave a deep sigh and can be heard chuckling and saying I hate the young.

Anywho the show was on the way half naked men doing insane things to each other..how homoerotic. Lucas couldn't help but notice the same two men the card resonated on and Carla seemed to be familiar with them. Interesting he said straight to Carla you know these young blokes?

Cynthia scowled as she toke the stool, she deserved it though she figured. Well you live in the bad area of town and come out all sugar and spice. After what sugar daddy and his woman just said though they were about to gat a mouthful.

"You were right about one thing my father Juluis Havarn is about as close as you can get to an ape, because after my mother, Euria Thern Havarn, died he abused me so I ran away and you knnow what I did for a living a cocktail waitress which often meant to most men stripper so I don't need you taking care of me and worrying about me cause I can beat up a man almost twice my wieght got it," Cynthia spat.

"Secondly I didn't show the Orichalcos to prove that I'm somthing specail cause anyone with a TV can get this card I showed you it so you don't try your little soul sucking ruotine and to show however much I hate it that I'm an ally because I could whup both of your asses with or without the Orichalcos," she continued.

"Also don't ever make fun of my social standing or class because I'm probably a lot more educated than you gramps'" Cynthia concluded

"So on that note let's watch so half naked boys," she said. After that Cynthia curled up into a ball and cried she hated talking about her past especially about her mother.

-.-; (<-- Carla's facial expression) "Great, we've got ourselves a charity case," Carla thought to herself, then she spoke to Cynthia, "Honey, your sob story so far in life may seem like a lot, but it may as well just be beginning. You'll know once you get dumped by your first lover, believe me. You'll just keep getting more and more to hate about the world.

"As for these two, "Hugh Heffner"," Carla continued with Lucas, "I don't know them on a personal level; I just happened to catch sight of them last night, nothing more." With that, she returned her attention to the ring, specifically on Russell as he and War Garvas were still circling each other.

After a moment of thinking, Russell gave yet another mischievous smirk, seemingly content with the solution he came up with. "Why not do it now?"

"Huh?" War Garvas blurted in confusion. "Do what now?"

"Our Duel," Russell replied, to the surprise of not only the audience, but of the rest of the DWF wrestlers, as well as the McKowens. "Sure, we were scheduled for one later, but I figured, "Why not get that out of the way?" Besides, it'd be a nice end to this match, don't you think?"

"The hell is he doing?!" Enzo McKowen blurted out in his daughter's ear. "That's not part of the schedule!!"

"True," Shannon replied, trying to get her father's saliva out of her ear, "but he does have a point; a high-energy Duel can be a great way to end a high-energy match." With that, she got up, strode over to Vivian and whispered something in her ear.

Vivian nodded in reply, then said to the audience through the microphone, "How about it, everyone? We'll let you decide: Are you ready for an intense Duel?"

The crowd was more than eager to express their decision; a massive chant of "YES! YES! YES!" filled the air.

"Well, I guess it's decided," Russell replied as he motioned to the referees, one of whom came up and handed Russell his Duel Disk and hoodie, as the other gave Gabriel his Disk and jacket.

All Gabriel could do was shake his head, chuckling. "You just couldn't wait, could you?" he said as he donned his jacket, just as a red scanner-type lens slid in over his mask's left eye.

"It was practically keeping me up all night," Russell admitted, running his finger along the scar over his left eye; a tribal-like pattern suddenly appeared over its length as his left eye's iris changed from blue to bright yellow. "Ready?!" Gabriel nodded, his own mouth couldn't help but grin.

"DUEL!"

"Really, thank you for those kind words, and honestly I didn't mean to blow up at you I've just had a lot to handle lately," Cynthia said as she wiped the tears from her face.

"By the way I've been there done that with that first lover crap obviously my only appeal was my pig of a father's money, and by the way you really need to get better at hiding your emotions and facial expressions it read 'charity case' all over your face as you started talking to me," she continued.

"Also as long as we're all sharing things here come on darling you can certainly do better than those two," she said pointing to the two in the ring.

"Now if you'll excuse me I need to go back to feeling sorry for myself," Cynthia finished and went back to sobbing not even bothering to watch the duel.

Arta had been sitting a while waiting for his opponent to make his move. If there was one thing Arta was good at it was waiting.

"Look Solomon, I know that if you want to give up now it wont be a problem. If you just stop I will not hold it against you. I can understand, facing such a powerful creature can be a daunting task." Arta smiled his usual toothy smile and just sat there waiting. "Well while you are making a move I will go and order us something to eat." Arta stood up and walked over to the counter "Hello Star, I am not sure what it is that Solomon will be eating but I would like a Grilled Turkey and Ham Panini with onions, mushrooms, no tomatoes, and a slice of pepper jack cheese. He will have..." Arta paused and turned to Solomon. "Hey Solomon what do you want to eat?"

Archetype Earth is the most powerful being on the planet. This is a given fact that even the Earth itself had acknowledged. Her body itself is made entirely of Orichalcum, so it's only natural that such a person would be thought of as a meteor. And although the Ringmistress's idea of Solid Vision as a distraction might've worked with any other person, unfortunately she also possessed the ability to sense life energy, courtesy of the world.

Therefore, she couldn't possibly be fooled by mere solid holograms, that had nothing of the sort in them, that were empty. Even Duel Monster holograms had more life energy than them.

Instead, sensing that the presence of people was above, she kneeled down for a moment. Her body began to emit a glowing green energy, and all of a sudden with great power she blasted through the floors one by one. Her only plan was to exterminate all life in the tower, as their goal according to Castle lay underneath. But these humans probably didn't know that, blind weaklings that they are-

Before she could reach the top, where it would probably be by then be hopeless for the dropship to escape, a sword nearly sliced off her head.

She retreated back, and there stood a man. At first, she thought he was a mere Solid Vision, but such a thing was impossible. He looked alive and his sword was existential. She sensed it coming before her eyes could've seen it coming. No way a Solid Vision could do something like that. But the man before her had no life energy in them. He was dead. Dead. Dead. But he's alive too. No energy. But alive, probably with a soul. Then...a zombie? Next to him she noticed an armored woman, and without a word had a card appear into her hand.

----------------

He should've known it would be her. This is the woman that managed to down the almighty Itsu Solace. It was actually a little surprising, since she looked merely like a typical villain. Well, she was a typical villain, but one that happened to be superpowered. This was an Archetype, of Earth no less, so powerful that she could even avoid a sword that kills before it connects.

All of a sudden, the Seal of Orichalcos appeared on the ground, small at first, but it began to expand rapidly, attempting to trap both Protheus and Yuri into a duel of no return.

And only twenty seconds left as well... "Yuri, your courage is commendable, but I'm afraid we will have to leave now." Then he reached out to touch her shoulder right before the Seal could reach them, and before she could protest, she was sucked into a vortex that teleported her directly onto the heliport.

He was about to do the same with himself, but then he noticed something. The Seal of Orichalcos was underneath his feet, and a barrier prevented him from escaping, through time or space or otherwise.

Lucas squinted slightly as Cynthia was telling her story while she thought she was giving her life story all Lucas heard was

"Baggage, baggage, baggage baggage baggage baggage father issues of course baggage, baggage, baggage, baggage, baggage, stripper next logical step, baggage, baggage, baggage beat up a man...is that a sexual reference?" He clearly tuned the majority of what she was saying out then Cynthia proceeded to talk about the Orichalcos "Boasting, threat, threat, boasting, boasting, threat, threat profane language...well can't expect much from a stripper. Lucas' face was stoic as he proceeded not to answer he even missed the part where she called him gramps. As she went down into a ball and cried...well at least it was away from the food.

Carla's response about the gentlemen was slightly informative, she never said how she met them but Lucas just assumed it was during one of her shifts at the "Gentlemen's Club" she must work at. As the two half naked men circled each other Lucas was wondering who was going to throw a chair, A proper fight between combatants should always have some manner of crude weaponry for maximum entertainment. Then the announcer spoke that the two would begin to duel it out and the fans went wild. Lucas however -___- because yes that is the appropriate climax for blood sport...a card game. This is a stupid era.

The new brat Cynthia resumed speech...odd seeing as most beast can't form words when they're sobbing but this was an odd creature. Her in and out patterns of controlled speech and in-your-face attitude were vexing almost like a riddle waiting to be solved. He could be seen pondering for seconds. And then it came to him like a bolt of lightning so much so that he no longer thought he spoke more like it slipped out... Menstruation! That's it she's menstruating, ah why didn't I think of it sooner? Of course my wife and daughter handled it better...but she is a stripper so no fault of her own. Funny a stripper telling a prostitute she can do better he said with a slight chuckle "ha that's a good one."

Lucas thought he was having an internal dialogue and didn't realize that he said the whole menstruation bit and stripper joke out loud. He proceeded to watch the duel with a slight smile on his face as if he had solved one of life's greatest mysteries.

Yuuto Diasu got off a plane and started his way toward baggage claim. “Ok. Now I’m here. What am I going to do do? Just hope some duelist comes at me and threatens to take my soul if I don’t beat them in a duel?” Yuuto thought aloud. He arrived at baggage claim and grabbed his bag, a small duffel bag with wheels and an extendable handle. He went outside and started calling for a taxi. Yuuto started mentally going over everything he needed. “Duel disk? Check. Deck? Check. Bag? Check. Ok I’m good.” he said. A taxi pulls over and picks Yuuto up. “Where you headin’?” said the driver. “The cheapest hotel in this city.” Yuuto replied. The taxi driver sighed and muttered something under his breath. They drove to an old, run-down house. There were holes everywhere you looked. The floor was missing boards, and the ceiling’s support beams were cracked. Yuuto paid the taxi driver and entered the building. It smelt like molding cheese and corpses. Yuuto walked to the front desk and rang a rusty bell. An old man with an eye patch, a hunchback, and a cane popped up. “How can I help you?” the old man asked. “I’d like to rent a room.” Yuuto replied. “Ok. That’ll be $2 per night. First five nights must be paid in advanced.” Yuuto handed the man 10 dollars and the man leaded him into a dusty room. There was half a mattress on the floor and a napkin with holes on it on top as if to be a blanket. There was a nightstand balancing on a leg and a half with its drawer on the floor. The man left and Yuuto sat on the mattress and started at the holes in the walls. “Damn this place sucks, but I need to save all the money I can.” Yuuto took out his deck, entered it into his duel disk and left the hotel to go and try to find one of the duelists who had been stealing souls. He stared at his deck and a fur-ball with giant eyes and green claws popped out. “C’mon Kuriboh. Let’s go.”

"PROSTITUTE?!?!" bellowed an overly furious Carla, fire literally spewing from her gaping mouth. "YOU HAVE A LOT OF F**KING NERVE SAYING THAT ABOUT ME, YOU G*DD*AMN GEEZER!!! I OUGHT TO TEAR YOU LIMB FROM MOTHERF**KING LIMB, YOU--"

... of course, the above scene was just an over-dramatization of Carla's thoughts. In reality, the only actual sign of her reacting to being called a "prostitiute" was a tiny twitch of her right eye, the rest of her face stoically in place. Without much else, she turned her head toward Lucas and, in a tone that simultaneously seeped chilling venom and boiling rage despite its sweet and demure exterior, said to the old man, "Lucas, sweetie, I really should warn you; if there are to be any chairs thrown around in this event, it'll be the one I'm sitting on, if you catch my drift~<3"

~~~~
"I'll start things off, then!" Russell declared as he drew his opening hand. "I open by Summoning "Noble Knight Artorigus" in Attack Mode!" Immediately, a knightly figure appeared to Russell's left, his hand on the handle of a sword imbedded in a stone mound (1800 ATK). "I then throw down two face-down before ending my turn," he concluded, two face-down cards briefly appearing at Russell's feet before fading out of view for the moment.
"A decent start," Gabriel said out loud as he drew his own opening hand, "but now let's see how it stands up against my forces! I start my turn by Summoning "Masked Bravador - Lynk" in Attack Position!" At Gabriel's declaration, a masked wrestler wearing a lynx-styled mask jumped high in the air before landing right in front of Gabriel (1650 ATK). "Now, while Lynk is face-up on the field, he gains 100 ATK for each card I have in my hand." As Gabriel explained the ever-loving crud out of Lynk's effect, the Masked Bravador began to serge with a bright green aura. "Since I have 5 cards in my hand at present, Lynk's Attack Power is increased by 500, bringing him to a total ATK of 2150!"
"Okay," Russell replied with a somewhat bored toned, "so... before I start getting grey hairs...?"
Gabriel scoffed at Russell's joke. "Fine, you asked for it. Entering Battle Phase! Lynk, strike Arturigus with Lynx Lariat!" Lynk charged forward at the Noble Knight, prepared to strike the knight's face with his extended arm.
"Sorry, to disappoint you, broski," Russell interrupted. "Trap Card Open: "Scrap-Iron Scarecrow"!" A look of shock crossed Lynk's face as his arm connected with a football helmet with goggles as opposed to a human(?) face. The scarecrow shattered to pieces and promptly faded away, only to be replaced by a face-down card which, too, faded out of sight. "Once per turn, my Scarecrow can take the force of one oncoming attack, then return to its previous Set position. I'll have to wait until it rebuilds itself to use it during the next Battle Phase, but since you only have one monster anyway, I've nothing to worry."
"Hmph," Gabriel muttered. "Very well. I'll just set two cards of my own, then end my turn." Now that Gabriel's hand size was down to three cards, Lynk's Attack Power went down to 1950, still strong enough to overpower Arturigus, but, then again....
"With the end of the first Round," Vivian stated over the microphone, "both Russell "Taurus" Oxford and War Garvas are still at a full 4000 Life Points each, both with 3 cards in hand, one monster on the field and two face-downs. That will all change with the start of Russell's next turn."
Yes Dear Lucas said in the most deadpan tone not even looking at Carla. It was actually an involuntary reaction he developed after years of marriage. Being him he naturally upset his wife and whenever she got angry he could auto-tune her out. Though in the back of his mind he didn't understand why Carla was somewhat upset. She couldn't have heard the prostitute remark (or so he thought), maybe its one of these young people problems. This is why he hates the young...well one of many reasons. Lucas took a second to wonder about Cynthia as well. Not if she was okay or not but if she had been properly potty-trained. Its a fair question since a) she clearly lacks any form of manners so who knows what she knows and b.) the stool is only tall enough for a decent person to have to squat on meaning if she doesn't have proper bladder control it could get messy. Then again strippers do have excellent upper body strength and core control she should be good.
Onward to the duel. He said as he was slipping in and out of his own thought process. He watched the first turn go down earnestly as he was hoping some of the other wrestlers who were knocked out of the ring would come back and just unleash savage vengeance among these two. But that didn't happen instead a white knight appeared on the field followed by two facedowns...standard. Then came a masked wrestler on the other side...really now a masked wrestler using a deck of masked wrestlers...well to be honest it not surprising that people use cards patterned after themselves. Even the "True Sirs" are like Lucas in a lot of ways. As the wrestler attacked and the trap card was activated then cards were set and turn was ended. Lucas resumed his -___- face.
Sooo nothing happened..
Natsu and Idris finally lugged Itsu's body into the Pelican and set it against a wall just in time for Yuri to appear from thin air. Natsu rushed back to grab the girl as Pandora pulled up on the stick, sending them up through the shaft and out into the blue sky. Pandora announced as they maneuvered down to where Protheus was. "Welcome to Pandora Air. Please keep your hands and feet inside of the Pelican until we have come to a complete stop."
Ringmistress watched through the cameras of Duel Arcadia as the battle raged. She was controlling carnival-themed robots of all shapes and sizes with jury-rigged weapons against 30 of the best soldiers in the world equipped with battlesuits that made each of them worth a company of troops, as well as a compliment of aerial drones. The fight was now on the midway, with the ACS teams slowly advancing against her makeshift defense force. She scrolled through the options available until she found what she was looking for: a mothballed mech made by one of Itsu's friends. She quickly ordered a slender jester robot to the machine, finding a large white angular motorcycle with sidecars and wings on the back. The motorcycle roared to life and sped into the battle, gatling gun attached to the right sidecar while the left sidecar had a rocket launcher. The jester pressed a button, and motorcycle suddenly started transforming. The wheels swept underneath the main body of the bike while the front and rear sections locked together to create a cockpit, the wheels being attached to legs that doubled as the bike's primary drive. The sidecars also transformed a pair of arms equipped with the weapons attached to them. In the motorcycle's place was a 12-foot-tall white robot that looked like the love child of Machine Emperor Wisel Infinity, the robots from Portal 2, and a Transformer. It had an angular torso, a head topped with a single red eye with several smaller red eyes on either side, two giant shoulder pads supporting tiny arms, and powerful legs with wheels for feet. The robot stomped forward, shields flaring from the wing-like projections on its back to protect it from the oncoming fire, and it responded in kind, small mini-missile launchers popping up from the shoulder pads to fire heat-seeking missiles at the drones and ACS troopers alike.
Meanwhile, a red and silver motorcycle was racing its way up the ramp-like staircase circling the circumference of the tower's interior. He could detect the one that defeated his Mistress, and some other poor soul was in trouble. He stopped near Protheus and Archetype, waiting for one of them to make a move.
