Fusion X. Denver
Oh the movie went in theaters already? That's cool, I finished K-ON about a month ago, so this is pretty nice timing. Is the movie supposed to serve as a conclusion to the franchise, or is it just more shenanigans?
Yeah, a while back now... finished S2 as well (K-ON!!)? It's just more shenanigans. The manga has only just ended.
Fusion X. Denver
Yeah, both seasons. It's a good anime so long as you don't require needing your brain for it, but I think I would have enjoyed it more on a weekly basis rather than marathoning it all in a row. Just more shenanigans eh? Well, that's alright. It might get another movie for the manga ending anyways, given its popularity.

I watched K-ON! as a marathon but K-ON!! weekly as they came out, I'm not sure which reasons I preferred S1 for so can't really comment, confounding variables. I reckon it makes a fair bit of money for KyoAni, would be surprised if they didn't do something else with it after this movie, same goes for Haruhi.
Strange, I also preferred the first season for some reason. Maybe S2 just had that "more of the same" feeling that put us off a bit, or it's longer length made its content out to be a bit tedious. Having another Haruhi season/movie would be nice; if this K-ON movie's also just another random adventure, I concur KyoAni will do something with them again too.
Probably is the reason, once you keep doing (or in this case watching) something over and over again it does become a lot less interesting. I'd be really shocked if they didn't do anything else with Haruhi, it's a massive cash cow for them (case in point: people actually bought Endless Eight). Just hoping that K-ON! will also have enough demand for them to do something else with it. I love my moeblobs.
