Material Merchant - LIGHT
R/**
Insect/Xyz/Effect
2 Level 2 Monsters
When a Xyz Monster is Xyz Summoned (Besides this card): That cards controller may detach 1 Xyz material from it; That cards controller draws 1 card. This effect cannot be activated if this card has no Xyz Material. If your Opponent Draws a card from a "Material Exangers" effect: You may detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; Draw 1 Card, then, each time your opponent Xyz Summons a Monster this turn, draw 1 card.
ATK/600 DEF/1750

So, I herd People thought an Xyz Librarian would be broken?
Part of me thinks the last part is overkill. The other part Thinks It's a hilarious draw back for an opponent trying to OTK before they get rid of it. Eh, You decide.

When you say "a 'Material Exangers' effect", do you mean the effect of this card or a card that shares its name?

This card is solid but not broken. There's no Tuningware or Sangan for Xyz Monsters, but since (I think) it can respond to its own Summon, it's a 0 at the least. Reviving this card from the Graveyard is generally pointless since it'll have no Xyz Materials. This card also lacks sufficent DEF to survive more than 1 good turn, and unlike Formula Synchron or Hyper Librarian it will just sit there.

I'd say it would ALMOST be balanced if it weren't for Quillbolt Hedgehog. Assuming you can detach in response to its own Summon, Quillbolt makes it a bit excessive.

You have : and ; reversed. : should be after activation conditions and ; should follow Target/Cost.

[/quote]I mean both. Any Material Excanger on the field can activate the trigger to activate the effect.
It's intended NOT to. That would be too broken :P But, It doesn't remove materials from itself to draw, it removes from others, to restrict their effects, so that you have to be a bit more careful on when to draw...
Well, I want it to not activate to its own summon, so....
Alright, Thanks. Editing now...
EDIT: Also added some more balancing to it. Can't use drawing if he has 0 materials, to prevent Call/reborn/etc abuse with him.
