Nathanael D. Striker
Carbon Titan *** EARTH Rock/Effect ATK 1000 DEF 1300 Once per turn: You can Special Summon 1 Level 3 or Lower EARTH monster from your hand. If this card is destroyed: You can add 1 Level 3 or lower EARTH monster from your Graveyard to your hand except this card. I mainly took away the restriction on Xyz Summoning and replaced when with if in the second effect. May edit it further if needed. Link to comment
Bahamut - Envoy of the End
Didn't realise that was you, the returning Striker *slowpoke.jpg* Always thought you were a good cardmaker even if a loose cannon in other sections, but hell we could do with that now. Welcome back. As for this, I forsee Birdman abuse somehow in something like a monster mash. Summon this, summon something else, replace this with Birdman. Especially given this can summon itself, and when detached or the Xyz monster is destroyed, can add Birdman back to hand. Hmmm... Link to comment
Nathanael D. Striker
I tried to play around with the attributes of Carbon a bit, mainly life and decomposition that gives life nutrients. The Basically, the I went to a bit of science in this one. Link to comment
Blake
And "If" makes it bad design. First off, it sets off with Foolish Burial and cards of the sort, which means it supports already broken stuff even MORE. Then there's the fact that, since it activates from anywhere, you're just gonna make +0s and +1s off of whatever you make with this, guaranteed. Now it's stupid with Xyz and Synchros. Of course, not completely, but it guarantees you're going to keep the resources you use up if you run enough level 3s, like, say... Tour Guide? Sangan? It's not even necessarily broken, but it's terrible card design that begs to be exploited. If kills the card's balanced, when makes the card bad. Link to comment

Bahamut - Envoy of the End
You didn't really address my comment at all But effect is 'you can', so it has timing issues right? Still, Black is right. I totally forgot about Sangan, this recycles it to a ridiculous degree, along with others. Link to comment
Nathanael D. Striker
Sorry about that. If doesn't have a timing issue even with you can since the card only cares if the action was done, not if it was the last thing done which when applies. In short, no. And I'm changing it to destroyed to help its balance with recycling. Link to comment

Destroyed doesn't balance it, it makes it suck more. That would be why Poison Draw Frog never worked for my Frog deck on Tag Force 1. Suibon
Maybe a further restriction on the Level 3 and lower monsters fetched by this card when destroyed? But why are we making a treasure out of Tour Guide and Sangan anyway, as if their broken-ness somehow makes them worth considering in modifying this card? Link to comment

To sy "TGU an Sangan are broken without this" is an idiotic and ignorant argument that holds absolutely no weight. If a card makes them more abusable then it's bad design. Plus, those aren't the only two. There are a plethora of abusable levels 3s. As for the card, restrict it by type and/or attribute. Link to comment
