[/quote] While I do agree that his RP are structured and organized, and has significant posting rules to help conduct an ease to the RPing without the hassle of scattered character organization with his, and his RP skills are nonetheless high-grade, you should also consider the past RPing masters (I'm proud to be considered one of them, though my skills have I admit slipped since). Their skills were just as impressive, if not grand. So certainly, I disagree with the King of the RP title. Regardless, he's up there. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I don't consider myself as the best and I never will; clearly there are better RPers out there like this one YCM member named Lord JZ of the Enigma. He taught me how to RP when I first became a member here and if it wasn't for him, I would not be where I'm at today in this forum. Because of that, I consider him a greater RPer than me. Besides, trying to earn some title is not the reason why I RP. The reason I RP is to share stories that just seems to randomly pop into my head for others to participate and enjoy alongside me. Irl, the only time I got to use my creativity for things like RPs was when I was in elementary school playing with my friends. I certainly want to continue to share my ideas with others but of course I'm not going to be out in public pretending to sword fight someone... no that would be weird. That's why I turn to RPing for my need to share ideas with others now. Like I said, I don't do it to be handed some title that holds no life-changing importance, I do it because I like sharing the things that go on in my head. I'm perfectly happy with being able to make something that others can enjoy. /speech Redd: Gay... So very, very gay... *punches Blu in the stomach and casually walks away* EDIT: Okay, with my emotional dribble out of the way, let's get down to brass tacks. Dharc, I think you should save your third skill for a stronger boss later on. It would be a waste to use it on the first boss of the RP who hasn't really hurt anyone. You'll have more than enough of an oppertunity to shine later in the rp, and Blu will definately make sure of that. He's always fair to the RP'ers. JUst trying to have Alex use all of his strong techniques early on will just make it seem like you're trying to pull all attention to your character (which I know you're not). Alex is a good character with or without all of the flashy and powerful techniques, so don't think that with every giant creature you have to use it. Also, if you have something planned, even if you want it to be a surprise, you should tell Blu. Because like I said he'll give us all a moment where the spot light is on us, but if what you have in mind messes up what Blu(who is the owner of the rp) wants to do then your idea will be out of luck. If you already talked to him about it then you can ignore this, but still. We all have ideas for our character, but don't try to force it so aggressively. Let it all happen, Blu will take care of you. But you're doing a good job with Alex, and your posts are always a good read. And I know you're not intentionally pulling attention, and to be truthful you're really not. I was just trying to give you a warning because thats where it looks like it was heading. Thats all.
