You guys are seriously trying to kill him off. Blu might just have him survive. Just because Blu had him say what he did to Elzira, those may just be the words of someone who thinks he is going to die. Blu might have him surprisingly live.

Besides...I like Baschan TT_TT Me no want him to de.

Exactly, I don't see why everyone is thinking Baschan will die. The chapter isn't even over yet DX

And why are people thinking we're heading to Xilith? Elzira needs to get to the Tree of Aska!

As for how Dusk's character will be introduced... Let's just say it's not what you think Cherry...

[*]Well, in order to get to the Tree of Aska, they must pass through Gurada Village.
[*]To get through Gurada Village to the Tree of Aska, one must be deemed worthy by the goddess Atherion.
[*]To see if someone is deemed worthy, the people of Gurada Village prolly have some kinda ritual in place.
[*]The people of Gurada Village are skilled magicians.
[*]There are skilled magicians in Xilith, who might be able to help in some way.
[*]Alexander, Ikeno, and Cael are already headed to Xilith to obtain the compass that shall lead them to Oasaah.
[*]On a side note, Alexander was a.) reluctant to begin with, and b.) pledged to serve the Princess. So he might do something. *HINT HINT*

So, by examining the facts and possibilities...It is likely that the two parties' paths may intersect AT LEAST once more, and it seems fitting that the powerful city-sate of Xilith would be a meeting place. Also, .:Blu:. said some interesting stuff about Xilith in the locations guide...It has libraries filled with extensive histories on Odiad and magic; there's Scion temples (Scion are in some fashion related to Atherion, as they are lesser deities), which would be helpful for Rose and Elzira to become bounded to Scions; the shield could be used to defend against attacks, which would be likely, considering the Paradisus Royal Family's nature; that sphere has to do something important, or else it wouldn't have been mentioned.

Honestly, Chekhov's guns all over the place.

Then again, this is all entirely speculation, so I might be dead wrong.

... Hoooolyyyyy shiiiiit... That is some in depth analysis... I think you deserve a rep for that...

Snapping out of my state of sheer awe... The only thing preventing speculations to be true is me. Still, that was freaking awesome what you just posted Dharc O_O

Thank you for the Rep, kind sir. Been a while since I got one of those.

But it's just common sense, really. If there was no intention on using something, it would not be mentioned, would it? That is the very definition of a Chekhov's Gun—Something pointed out at one point to be utilized later on.

I respect you, .:Blu:., and therefore assumed you were intelligent enough to utilize that literary device. That is also why I created sych an in-depth analysis into the circumstances and possibilities.
