The Mushroom Kingdom

Yeah, I'm gonna change my icon as well. Samus just doesn't look well on me (the suit makes me look fat.)

I was gonna enlarge it, but... it looked ugly, so this will do.

Derp.
I edited my post.

So, on a tangential note, do any of the Mario Party games for Wii have online play?

Whenever I see someone post a FC for a specific DS game it makes me chuckle... :3

If we did something like Kid Icarus or MK7, then I would just post my 3DS friend code (since DS games have a different friend code from the 3DS).

As I was discussing earlier it only lets possible things happen. You could have a full team of shiny legendaries but they could only be as powerful as you could get them in-game, same with their movesets.

What are the rules going to be? Do we have a banlist?

If we're just having a Pokemon tournament, at least make the rules a bit interesting. Perhaps mixed tier (you are given x amount of points to use per team - an Uber costs 5 points, an OU costs 4, et cetera), or have each round utilize a different tier (quarter-finals are Uber, semi-finals are OU, finals are UU). If we're just having a stock Pokemon tournament, it will be extremely boring, especially since we have access to a simulator and getting any "perfect" team will take all of five minutes.

Alternatively, I've always liked the idea of the following tourney set-up (if it's a bit difficult to follow, I apologize, but this is my first time putting it into words):

Let's say I have a team of six Pokemon, and I'm going into my first match. All my opponent sees is I have a Deoxys-S lead that uses Stealth Rock, and then I sweep him with a Kingdra (Dragon Dance and Waterfall, I guess). He writes this information down and posts it on the tourney thread. Now, for the next match, I can change any and all of my team except for the information posted in the thread. So if I see that my opponent has a Scizor lead, I could maybe prepare for that by changing one of my other sweepers. That way, you always have some insight into your opponent's team, but he or she could change quite a bit before your match.

It also rewards 6-0 and 5-0 sweeps, since that means less of your team is seen and you can be extremely flexible. You'd have to put a massive amount of trust in your players to ensure the IV/EV/item distribution stays the same (since it's a bit unfair to be able to change that), but otherwise it seems like a solid venture. Especially since, for most competitive players, you tend to write down what Pokemon your opponent has and what moves they've used regardless. So it's not like it takes an extra amount of work to run this tourney.

Again, just shooting some ideas.

Btw, anyone want to help me test my team in Pokemon Online?
I will. Do we just go to the main Pokémon Online server? What's your name on there? I'm Shradow, as usual.
