Cherz
Mason made his way to his room when they were all dismissed. How strange. Its only 6:00 and Tizu seems to want a- He let out a yawn. When he reached his room, he suddenly knew why. Those deserts were sleep drugs! He thought. He fell onto his bed, and went into a deep sleep. While he was asleep, a shark fin emerged from the floor. A giant shark with metalic teeth appeared out of no where. It glanced around, then it dove into the floor, as it it was water. It began to circle the room, constantly monertering all the activity. Mason had dropped 1 card duringhis fall. The card fell face up, and it was big jaws.
Reinforce
Leaving the dining hall, David started to feel tired, though as he was normally tired he found nothing unusual about that. Upon reaching his room, he grabbed a card out of his deck and placed it on his duel disk as he got ready for bed, before placing the duel disk down on the table, and going to sleep. In his room, a glowing white and blue serpentine creature appeared to curl around his room, taking up a large amount of space. If one were to look towards his duel disk, they would notice the same serpent appearing on the card's image that is sitting on his disk, partially obscured by some of his clothing, with the name "Daedalus" showing off it. Takashi125
Takashi heads back to his room and while on the way, he suddenly felt like he was going to pass out as he let out a big yawn. "What the...? Why am I so tired all of a sudden...?" he thought. He manages to make it to his room as all the others and stays awake long enough to shower and changed into his night attire before finally giving in and collapsing onto his bed. But before he completely succumbed to this mysterious feeling of sudden exaustion, he muttered something, a name. "Shi...en..." then his deck beside his bed began to glow and then the apparition of a powerful Samurai warlord adorned in crimson red armor appears in the room and stands guard beside his bed. No one was surly going to cause any harm to Takashi while he slept with such an intimidating figure keeping watch.
Et7000
Shock looked around at everyone in dismay, realizing that they were ignoring him. "Come on, guys, it was just one little joke!" he protested as the others walked out. He sighed, amd walked back to his room. He staggered, and he realized the chocolates must have had a sleeping agent in them. He almost went to his bed, but his mind flashed back to when he was a little kid. Little Flint walked out of the room where the adults were talking. His mom did not see him go, so Flint decided to walk around for a bit. He went to the gardens and stretched out and went to sleep. Flint woke up to the gardener running away with a knife in his hand, while Nanna chased him with a broom. "That's why you need your cards," Nanna told Flint. Shock put down three card stands and set the Wicked ones each in a pedestal. As he fell asleep, three duel spirits, a black blob, a dragon, and a large fiend appeared.
CAD97
Krystal brushed a piece of hair out of the eyes of Tizu while he slept. I'm sorry I had to do this to you, Tizu, but I needed to do this. They need these cards to protect them. From who, I don't know. I just do. Krystal slipped a card from the Tizu's pocket and pocketed it, then walked over to Tizu's desk and grabbed the six cards sitting there. Looking at the cards, she started down the halway, then almost slipped. Duel spirits? Who on this ship has the power to summon or draw duel spirits in a non-inspicuous [attracts duel spirits, the boundary between our world and theirs is weaker] place, other than me? I might possibly charge a place, but I haven't been here long enough.... Feels like one for each room. A little more cautiously, Krystal headed down towards the passenger cabins. Approaching the first cabin, Gladia's, Krystal slowed. She tried the door, which was, of cource, locked. Managed to stay awake long enough to lock the door, did he? Strong stomach. Door's not a problem, though. Krystal pulled out Tizu's card and held it against the door, which then opened. Krystal went in, then slowly put her hands up, in one of which was a card. I'm not going to hurt him, she brodcast, calming the duel spirit guarding the room. She then walked over to the desk and put the card down. She then left to go to the next room. Before she left, she checked the door. Locked again, like it should be. Approaching the second cabin, Mason's, she took out a cards. I have to thank Tizu for putting who the cards went to on the computer, else I wouldn't know where this one went, taking another out of her pocket. Trying the door, she managed to open ir without a problem. Krystal went in, then slowly put her hands up, in both of which was a card. I'm not going to hurt him, she brodcast, calming the duel spirit guarding the room. She then walked over to the desk and put the cards down. She then left to go to the next room. Approaching the next room, Takashi's, Krystal slowed. She didn't want to risk an encounter with primal Japanese spirits. After confirming that the only spirit inside was a duel spirit, she entered. Krystal went in, then slowly put her hands up, in one of which was a card. I'm not going to hurt him, she brodcast, calming the duel spirit guarding the room. She then walked over to the desk and put the card down. She then left to go to the next room. Approaching Shock's room, Krystal backpedalled a bit when she touched the handle. The reason was not the many pranks Flint had set up (which had all been jammed by the card in Krystal's pocket), but the overflow of duel spirit energy from within the room. Three!?!? she thought, squeaking just in the slightest. Slightly worried, she entered cautiously. Krystal went in, and almost broke her calm mannor and gawked (for half a second). Those three... she thought. She then slowly put her hands up, in one of which was a card. I'm not going to hurt him, she brodcast, calming the duel spirits guarding the room, though not without some effort. She then walked over to the desk and put the card down. She then left to go to the next room. Approaching the last room, David's, Krystal shuddered. She had never liked the "Downunda" duel spirits. Even though, glancing at the last card, Krystal was pretty sure that the Australian used an archetype deck, and not a general outback / "Downunda" deck, the room still output a similar aura of Austrailia. She braced herself and entered. Krystal went in, then slowly put her hands up, in one of which was a card. I'm not going to hurt him, she brodcast, calming the duel spirit guarding the room. She then walked over to the desk and put the card down. She then left to go back to her room. On the way to her room, she slipped into Tizu's and returned his card, though not before gazing at it for a while. I don't know why Tizu uses you, your effect seems perfect for my old deck. Maybe, if I had a card that good, I might consider dueling again.... Krystal slept fitfully that night, dreaming of angry duel spirits and strange, benevolent forces fighting an evil fire. CAD97
[OOC: Ok, I have enough time now, so here goes... (In all honesty, I don't have anything for right now...)] When morning came, Gladia woke up quickly and was startled to see her Laquari duel spirit actually visable in the room, pacing. Doing her best to commuicate -- she had never been the best at it -- Gladia brodcast "What has you worried? And how are you taking a semi-physical form here, without an active duel?" Then, spotting the new card on her dresser, she asked "And where did this card come from?" The duel spirit paced a few more times, growled, and then dissapeared. From Laquari, Gladia managed to pick up " Someone ... not harm ... left card ... auspicuous ... " before it dissapeared. Disturbed, Gladia got into the shower, again locking the door. Strange that they have running hot water, when it is needed more for drinking.... Well, I do guess this is a rather big ship to take so few people on a two day trip.... But I need to stay focused. Pondering, Gladia reviewed all she knew about duel spirits. She knew enough about duel spirits to know that they only appeared in the normal world in certain places at special times, or in a duel, and eighter time they appeared, they had no real physical impact on the world (god cards and other excess power excepted), but interacted through the minds of humans. Contact with a attacking spirit outside of a duel would lead to your brain thinking it had been attacked, but your body actually unharmed. They could still kill you however, as an attack could convince your brain it was dead and shut it down. There were special "duel sheilds" for use battling wild duel spirits. Also, when an intellegent spirit interacted with humans, you could understand its thoughts if you had enough practice backed with the talent. They detect lies, and will get bonded to and protect someone if they have a real reason and spend time with that person. Also, it is theoretically possible to access their relm, the same way they can cross over to ours, but no one has ever figured out how to. After finishing her shower, Gladia got dressed in her Laquari cloak again, and went to the dining hall to grab a bite to eat. Walking by with a nugget in an american biscuit, she noticed a notice from Tizu that he would be with everyone for dinner, but was occupied until then. Finishing her biscuit, she headed to the duel arena and sat in the stands. She took out her duel sword and drew a couple hands, pondered the best way to start of with each one, and then shuffled them back into her deck. In her extra deck was one new card that she still had yet to figure out how to use. [OOC: I want a duel today, but I don't particularly want to have Gladia duel until later. She'll be in the first tourney duel (and therefore won't lose a petal of her flower for not dueling), but I don't want her to duel until then. Also, Tizu won't duel unless for a real reason, like to punish someone sneaking around in his room. Ethan might be willing to duel.] After a few rounds of practice hands, Gladia fingered her flower necklace displyed proudly on her chest today, and then took out the new card and puzzled over the best way to use it. Et7000
Shock woke up to his Wicked cards hovering over him. All three of them? Here? Shock thought. Normally they can only appear at home. The black blob growled and said, "FLINT, there HUMAN in here. IT give card to Flint. No harm, IT say." Shock shook his head. "That's weird. How did they get through my tricks? And, Avatar, call me Shock!" he said aloud. "Well, I suppose I should eat." After grabbing a bite of pancake, he walked out to the Duel arena. Strapping on his lightning duel disk, he wandered around, marveling at the arena. Seeing Glad drawning practice hands, he left him alone. Shock sat down and waited for any others to come and duel. He pulled out his new card and gazed at it, trying to get a feel for how it would work in his deck.
Takashi125
Takashi woke up groggy which was unusual for him perhaps dues to the sleeping drugs in the food he unsuspectingly ate. He showed no real concern as he fought it off and sat up from the bed. He stretched his arms while letting out a long drawn out yawn when "Master... someone came to your as you slept." Shien said, reappearing by his bedside. Takashi blinked then faced him and asked "Huh...? Who did?" Shien points to his deck "She wasn't someone you met and she seemed very suspicious so I was about to draw my sword when she said she wasn't a threat and she gave you that card." Takashi takes the card from his deck and he is surprised by it "Number 182 - Shinzo...?" he read the name of the exceed monster. He then reads the effect and he was impressed. "Hmm this is a good card. I think it will come in handy. Though I wish whoever gave this to me do so face-to-face..." Takashi was beginning to find all of this very strange however his curiosity gave way to hunger. He slips the card back into his deck and takes a quick shower. Afterwards he got dressed and left his room and went to grab a bit to eat to eat from the breakfast buffet then decided to take a walk. He comes across a dueling arena to which he decided it was the perfect time to get in a practice duel. He saw two of the other competitors there and focused more on Glad as he was who he was drawn more towards for some reason. He approaches him and asks. "Good morning Glad. Sleep well? I slept like a stone." he chuckled as he sat beside him.
CAD97
"I slept well," Gladia lied. "Strange thing is, this card appeared on my bed stand last night," she said, purposely being slightly vague to avoid talking about the duel spirit of Laquari. Taking 'Number 145 - Thracios' out of her pocket and waving it around, she asked, "Did you get one? And do you think everyone else got one? Mine works well with my deck, and is sort of powerful, any duels would be skewed if the other contestants didn't have any new cards." Gladia then glanced over at Shock, wincing inwardly at his aura of hostility and hurt, as no one had gone over to him yet. "Wonder where all the rest of us are," she mused out loud. "Having trouble with that seditive?"
Reinforce
David woke up to see the head of Daedalus above him. "What's up Dae, you aren't usually this uptight when I wake up." "Someone doesn't usually come into the room, drop off a card to you, and then leave either. Without any intent to harm you either, though I did sense a dislike of the Australian Spirits." "Lucky I don't use those spirits then, or whoever it was might have been more uptight and less likely to be nice." Walking up to his duel disk, David looked at the card sitting next to it. "Number 132: Sacred Angel, sounds like an interesting card to have. Works well with my Level 5 Sacreds, and would work well with the level 6 Sacreds if i used them. This could combo nicely with Pleiades too, especially if my hand is good." Adding the new card to his deck, along with returning Daedalus to the deck once more, he quickly got dressed and left the room, grabbing and eating a plate of Eggs Benedict and eating it, before continuing on to the arena. Walking in, he saw Gladia and Takashi talking, and walked over to grandstands next to the field, waiting to see if anyone would challenge him to a duel. Et7000
Shock looked up as Takashi came in. He was about to walk over to duel, but he walked straight to Glad. Feeling hurt, he pulled farther back and kept staring at 'Number 174: Pyrrus.' It seemed to be perfectly made for his deck, and was very powerful. Shock looked around and thought, Where is everyone? I thought there was a sedative for me, to try and kidnap, but it seems as though everyone got hit hard. He looked up when David came in. Since he walked right past Glad and Takashi and seemed like he wanted to duel, Shock went over to him. "Hey! Would you like to duel? I just got a card last night, and I would really like to try it out before the tournament. Please accept my challenge!" Shock said.
Takashi125
Takashi was surprised that he wasn't the only one who got a new Exceed monster and glad showed him his: Number 145 Thracios. "Hmm that's a really good card. And you're not the only one, here's mine" He showed him Shinzo and let him read the effect before putting it back away. Then all of a sudden Shock came over and wanted David duel him.Takashi didn't think it was a good Idea to duel you're opponents before the tournament as you you are basically giving away your strategy and thus your opponents could counter you come the tournament. But if they wanted to do just that, then who was he to pass up the opportunity to information. "This should be good, Glad as we'll get to see their deck and strategy before the tournament." he whispered to him.

Since you challenged me though, I'll take the first move." David walked over to the starting place of the arena, and drew his hand, before drawing the sixth card to signify that it was his turn first. "My turn, Draw. I'll start off by activating the Continuous Spell, Sacred Starsign, and then normal summoning Sacred Leonis. Then, I can use the effect of Leonis to let me normal summon an aditional time this turn, so come out, Sacred Sheratan. Overlay, Leonis and Sheratan to Xyz summon, rise out of the Hyades to bring justice to this world, Sacred Hyades. By the effect of Sacred Starsign, since a Sacred Xyz monster was summoned to the field, I can draw 1 card. Reinforce
David winced as the flames burned him, then shuddered somewhat at the sight of the Flame Sprite's increasing power. "My turn, Draw. With this, it's time to get serious. I'll summon my Sacred Pollux to the field in attack position, then use the effect of Pollux to allow me to normal summon once more. Reinforce
David winced as his monsters got wiped out in the light of mirror force, as he hadn't wanted to reveal the effect of his new Xyz monster yet, and the rest hadn't got to actually see it's effect, and then again when he was bombarded by a second hit from the Raging Flame Spirit. "During your end phase, I'm activating my own trap, Xyz Reborn, to return my Sacred Ptolemys Messier 7 to the field, and draw once thanks to Sacred Starsign. Then, my turn, draw. Reinforce
David winced again, though continued on nonetheless. "Why would I be concerned about them, they're both out of the way now and I still have a fairly overwhelming advantage. I would have preferred to leave Ptolemys on the field, but who I'm going to summon will be more useful to me anyway. "Due to his effect, I can detatch one XYZ Material monster to destroy your monster and deal 500 damage to your Life Points!" Pyrrus grabbed one of his units and expelled it from his hand in a fiery explosion. "But, since he used his effect, he cannot attack. I end my turn!" Reinforce
"Don't get so cocky just because you managed to summon your own new card, when you use his effect on Pleiades, I'll chain the effect of Pleiades to that, returning yours to your extra deck. I still lose Pleiades bu thts evens te field out slightly. Draw, Spell activate, Sacred Super-Rebirth allows me to retrieve two Sacred monsters from my grave at the cost of not being able to attack, so I'll choose Sacred Leonis and Sacred Schet to add to my hand. I'll set a monster, turn end." David watched his opponent carefully, waiting to see any signs that might give away his plans. Et7000
"Grr... Well, you got rid of Pyrrus, but I can still beat you!" Shock shouted. "Draw!" As Shock looked at his hand, he sighed. "Well, I guess this will be a short and sweet move.," he said. "First, I will summon my Gaia Soul the Combustible Collective! (Lv. 4, 2000 ATK) I could tribute a pyro, but I don't have any. So, I guess that my Gaia Soul will have to attack your monster without any boosts! Go! Attack that facedown! And by the way, Gaia Soul does Piercing Battle damage. But. at the end of my turn, I have to destroy it. So, go! After that, I end my turn." he said. Gaia Soul dissapeared in a blinding flash. "It's your turn." Reinforce
David grimaced as his Sacred Leonis got wiped out in the attack from Gaia Soul, and the flames from the destruction further depleted his life points. "Damnit, I'm not finished yet, Draw. Normal Summon, the second incarnation, Sacred Pollux. It was lucky i managed to draw the second copy from my deck, as he suits my purposes far better than any of the other cards in my hand. The effect of Pollux, normal summon, Sacred Kaust. Kaust's effect boosts the level of both Kaust and Pollux, making them both level 5 monsters. Overlay, rise from the stars, Sacred Pleiades, and the second copy of him too. Thanks to Starsign, I can draw again, then Chaos Xyz Change. Rise, Gaia Dragon the Thunder Charger, once again the second copy in my deck. My set card activates, the Equipment Spell, Xyz Unit, which i'll equip onto my Gaia Dragon. Xyz Unit boosts the attack of the equipped monster by 200 times the equipped monster's rank. In Gaia Dragon's case, that rank is 7, the highest I possess. Gaia Dragon's attack power is boosted by 1400 to reach 4000 ATK total, the exact same as your life, and you have nothing left to block this attack. Therefore, this duel is over, Gaia Dragon, the Thunder Charger, Direct Attack." LP: 500 Hand: 6 (Includes Sacred Schet) Monsters: Gaia Dragon, the Thunder Charger (4000/2100, ATK position, 3 Overlay Units) S/T: Sacred Starsign, Xyz Unit (Equipped to Gaia Dragon, the Thunder Charger and giving a boost of 1400 ATK)
Et7000
"GAAAAAAAAAAAH!" Shock cried out as Gaia Dragon the Thunder Charger slammed into him. "Ooof. Good duel, David." he said. "And this time, I don't have a Joy Buzzer," he said, extending his hand. "I really didn't think you could pull off a monster with 4000 ATK points in one turn. That was sweet!" Walking away from David, he looked over what he could have done better. Hmm... I was too cocky because I still had full life points. Next time, I should... and do this... OK me, enough plotting. Shock walked into the stands, wondering if anyone else was going to duel. "Hey guys, just because I lost once doesn't mean that I'm not a contender!" he shouted. "And also, I will still duel anyone who wants to!"
