Project: 13 [ OOC / Started / Not Accepting ]

[spoiler=Plot]Oresha is a land ravaged by a seemingly endless war for power and control of a mystical energy known as Anima. Anima, argued by many as being substantial for maintaining natural life on Oresha, is a magical energy that can be concentrated in large quantities and used for many purposes including as a weapon for warfare. Thus the countries of Oresha began a war for complete dominance of the land and Anima. The warring nations of the Nox Empire, the Batillus Republic, the Oriens Alliance, and the Kingdom of Arma are the dominant forces in the ongoing war. Unlike the other three nations, the Oriens Alliance, instead of wanting to have complete control over all sources of Anima, is fighting in order to protect the sources of Anima and regulate it in a way that is beneficial to life and the land of Oresha itself. However, standing in its way is the powerful militaristic nation of the Batillus Republic whose sole purpose in the war is to establish itself as the absolute sovereign of all sources of Anima as well as the other nations. The Anima that the Batillus Republic has been able to harvest has been converted mainly for war purposes.

In the year XD278, the Research and Development branch of the Batillus Republic Grand Army were successful in their initial trials to create an "ability-enhancing" serum that would allow for normal soldiers to essentially become super soldiers with magical capabilities. Though the proto-serum was successful in creating these super soldiers, the soldiers would only live for several weeks before dying of a disease, know dubbed the "Anima Syndrome", in which the cells of the soldier rapidly deteriorate, causing them to literally decay into nothing. The Batillus Monarchy banned the serum until a new one could be created that would not retain those horrific effects. This prompted the scientists of the Research and Development branch to start a project they would later name "[b]Project 13[/b]". It coincided with what the Grand Army was doing at the time: utilizing adolescent soldiers. The Grand Army would take orphan infants and raised them to become natural super soldiers.

The scientists noticed that the old serum's side effects had a least dramatic effect on younger soldiers and so they worked extensively to create a new serum suited for adolescent soldiers. After years of development, a suitable serum was ready for use. Coincidentally, at the same time the serum was completed, the Grand Army had just acquired fourteen children, all under the age of five, to be part of the adolescent super soldiers program. The scientists were able to convince the Batillus Monarchy to allow them to use the newly created serum upon the fourteen children. The results were far more substantial than the scientists could ever dream to be possible. The fourteen children, after mere weeks of having the serum injected into them, showed an incredible increase in both physical and mental attributes. The fourteen children were then given codenames and an "Aspect" for each to represent. The scientists have succeeded, or so they thought...

The serum was then used on numerous other children. Some displayed the same increase in abilities as the original fourteen, but most, however, had quite the different reaction to the serum. Many morphed into horrific mutants, later named Kilidas, that lost essentially all of their human nature and merely killed and eat anything they can. An order was issued to kill the Kilidas on sight. Many were eradicated but some escaped into the wilderness of Oresha. Once the Kilidas reached the age of maturity they began to reproduce, creating an entirely new race of mutant creatures. Within the original fourteen, a girl, who was codenamed "Nil", an ancient word for the number "zero", began displaying aggressive tendencies and symptoms similar to the Kilidas. One of the scientists involved in the creation of the serum, however, had developed a mother-daughter relationship with Nil and decided to escape the Batillus Republic before Nil would be executed. Believing the scientists involved in Project 13 had helped the woman to escape with Nil, the Grand Army executed every last one of the scientists.

However, the thirteen children that were left were not executed due to the fact that they did not displayed mutant behaviors. The Grand Army continued to give extensive training and attention to the thirteen that were left and developed them into some of the best soldiers the Grand Army has ever produced. They were given the title "Unit 13", feared throughout Oresha for their capabilities that were years beyond even seasoned veterans of war. Unit 13, up to date, has not failed a single mission assigned to them by the Grand Army. However, as the members of Unit 13 saw more and more of the atrocities war has brought upon Oresha and especially within their own country, it became quite apparent to the thirteen that something needed to be done to finally put an end to this tragic, endless war once and for all, and if they, themselves, will have to be the ones to do it, then so be it.

[spoiler=Rules]If you are applying for this RP then it is expected that you know the rules of YCM's RP section and there is no need in having to remind you of them. Those who are unfamiliar of the rules or are new to RPing in general, I highly recommend you do not participate in this RP. Applying for this RP means that you will need to be active. If for any reason you cannot be active, PM me saying so or post it on the OOC. I am only accepting an EXTREMELY limited amount of people for this RP. Those who do apply, you have a maximum of one character unless I say so otherwise. This an anime/manga-esque RP, so the story will be based on chapters, seasons, arcs, etc. Also, I will not be accepting any antagonists unless I say so otherwise. If you have read the rules, please put four asterisks (****) in place of your username for the "Username" part of the app.

[spoiler=Important Info]1) Oresha is a dynamic world, like Earth, meaning it contains a wide variety of regions from grasslands to deserts to snowy mountain ranges. However, unlike Earth, the sky and lighting of Oresha is very grey, creating a somber and melancholy tone. During nighttime, the sky is riddled with numerous stars. The technology of Oresha is very modern including cars, cell phones, television, computers, etc. Cities and towns of Oresha can vary but usually has an old, rustic, almost-medieval look and feel to them. You will never see modern-style houses in the world of Oresha.

2) Project: 13 is meant to have a dark, ominous, and melancholy tone and atmosphere. In terms of rating, the RP is PG-16, containing excessive swearing, violence, and gore, but not much sexual content.

3) In terms of creating a character for this RP, you will have a list of names, or more accurately codenames, you can choose for your character. The names are numbers 1 through 13 in different languages except for 8 and 9 whose names are the spelled version of 8 and 9 respectively, and for 1 and 2 whose names draw allusion to their respective numbers. Each character must have a specific weapon used only by them. Let's say someone chooses to use a specific type of sword like a katana, no one else applying can have their character use a katana no matter how different the katana looks. If it's still classified by me as a katana, you cannot use it. All characters have a specific uniform that they wear that consists of:
1. A black suit jacket with a red interior, gold trim, a raised collar, and three brown belt straps with brass belt buckles lined vertically down the right side of the jacket for use in keeping the jacket closed like how buttons work. The cuffs of the jacket’s sleeve also have two brass buttons lined vertically down as well. Also, two brass spaulders are connected to the jacket via metal buckles. The suit is meant to be worn closed. Also note that the collar on the female uniforms is bent down.
2. Something worn under the jacket like a shirt, you get to choose what you want your character to wear.
3. White dress pants or something similar for males, and a red plaid skirt for females. What is under the skirt for females will not be discussed unless it's bicycle shorts or something.
4. Black socks, short for male and long for female, and black dress shoes or boots.
5. A red cape tied together by a brass decorating piece. The standard cape extends just below the back but you can modify the cape to fit your character's desired appearance including its length, size, and how it's worn.
6. A red, hooded mantle with gold trim and a single gold button that connects the mantle together is also sometimes worn by the members especially on infiltration missions in order to hide their faces.
How you choose for your character to wear certain items, how those certain items look, and what other accessories you were are entirely dependent on you and your creativity.

5) This RP follows a strict story structure and must be followed as so. Irrelevant posts will be warned. The posting style of this RP is turn-based, involving rounds. A round of posting consists of me posting then all other participants will post once, unless some circumstances prevent that from happening. After that round, a new round of posting will begin starting with me posting once more. After I have posted to begin a round, it doesn't matter who posts next as long as we reached the point where everybody posted once for that round.

6) This RP, like my other RPs, does have a central protagonist portrayed by me. However, unlike my other RPs, the focus on this RP is essentially on all fourteen members of Project 13. With that being said, some characters within the fourteen, like mine’s and participants' characters, have a more important role than others.

[spoiler=7) Important Terms]1. Project: 13 - The name of the RP and not to be confused with the term Project 13.

2. Project 13 - The name of the project in which scientists of the Research and Development branch of the Batillus Republic Grand Army created a super soldier serum in which they used upon fourteen children, the central protagonists of the RP.

3. Unit 13 - The name for the military group consisting of the 13 of the original 14 children of Project 13.

4. Aspect - A feature of humanity assigned to each one of the fourteen children of Project 13 to represent. A list of Aspects is given for you to choose from.

5. Oresha - The main setting of the RP.

6. Anima - A magical source of energy that exists naturally within Oresha. Small pockets, known as Anima Springs, can be found throughout Oresha. Through the use of specialized machinery, Anima can be gathered, processed, and concentrated for different uses. Natural Anima has healing properties and are often used alone as medicine. Anima behaves exactly like water and it can be consumed, resulting in a temporary boost in physical and mental capabilities. 7. The Batillus Republic - One of the nations most focused on within the RP and one of the dominant nations as well. They are the strongest nation in terms of military power.

8. The Batillus Republic Grand Army - The Batillus Republic's main military force, proven to be the strongest military force as of presently.

9. The Grand Army Research and Development Branch - The scientific branch of the Batillus Grand Army that, years ago, produced a serum capable of many triumphs and downfalls. Certain scientists of the branch worked on Project 13. After one of them had escaped the Batillus Republic with a child from Project 13, the rest of the scientists were executed.

10. Kilida - Kilidas are the results of children who were incompatible with the Project 13 serum and have morphed into horrific and deadly creatures. They are more powerful, deadly, and age much quicker than the common person.

11. The Alliance of Oriens - One of the nations most focused on within the RP and one of the dominant nations as well. Its primary goal for fighting in the war is to be able to regulate Anima in a way that is beneficial to both life on Oresha and Oresha itself.

12. The Nox Empire - One of the four dominant nations within Oresha. Within the four dominant nations, the Nox Empire is the most economically and technologically advanced.

13. The Kingdom of Arma - One of the four dominant nations within Oresha. The smallest nation of the four, the Kingdom of Arma's strength consists mostly of specialized magic-wielding soldiers. Arma is also home to many rebel groups that opposes the Batillus Republic's methods.

14. Jewells - The main currency of the RP. Jewells come in exclusively gold coins and while there are other types of currency within Oresha, Jewells are the universal currency and will work everywhere.

15. Magic - Magic are powers that your character can utilize in combat along with their weapon(s). Magic can include firing a fireball, shooting lightning, healing, firing special bullets from a gun, etc. Some weapons can be used solely with magic like a flute can be used to activate different types of magic. Creativity is up to you. Just remember, your primary weapon is more important than magic and should be used more unless of course your weapon is based around magic.[/spoiler]

Ace wears the standard male uniform of Unit 13. However, his jacket, instead of three, has four belt straps. Ace also wears a single brass [url=http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/3/3c/Fleur-de-lis-fill.svg/350px-Fleur-de-lis-fill.svg.png]Fleur-de-lis[/url] pin on the left side of his jacket collar and a small brown bag strapped to his black belt underneath his jacket to store items. Ace's belt also has two large straps on the back in order to carry his weapon.[/spoiler]
[spoiler=Personality:]Despite his youthful age, Ace has a mature speech and attitude. He is considered as a calm person, but can reveal himself at times to be reckless and act out of anger. Ace tries his best to maintain his leveled composure as well as keeping his friends out of trouble when possible. He doesn't think twice, however, when defending his friends from trouble. Ace can be rather reserved and shy towards people outside of Unit 13. He is easily surprised at new things initially, and if something is particularly unusual, Ace's composure is replaced with an almost child-like wonder. Ace is quite patient, allowing him to do things like playing chess and stargazing, both of which he actually enjoys doing. His patience is also a virtue especially on espionage and infiltration missions. However, as mentioned before, Ace can sometimes be reckless and act of anger, abandoning his usual patient demeanor. However, even those times usually only happen in extreme circumstances regarding matters of the utmost importance or regarding the other members of Unit 13. Though not the smartest member of Unit 13, Ace is an adept strategist, which potentially resulted from numerous hours spent on playing chess. He also excels in military knowledge because of long hours of research he has invested himself in when he was merely ten years old. Given the Aspect of Willpower, Ace has developed a strong sense of determination and persistence but without being stubborn.[/spoiler]

[b]Sabre[/b]: Ace uses a one-handed sword known as a sabre. This particular model is called [b]Deus Edge[/b]. Ace can strapped his sabre horizontally to his belt via two large straps on the back of the belt when the sabre is not in use.[/spoiler]
[spoiler=Fighting Style:]Ace utilizes a quick-pace style of fighting that requires the use of a light-weight, one-handed weapon. Ace's style of fighting is one of the quicker styles of all the members of Unit 13. The bulk of his attacks are generally quick, short slashes supplemented with a few wide but slower slashes. He can also fight in a backhanded style and can shift between normal and backhand seamlessly in combat. Ace rarely, if ever, uses stabs or thrusts. Being light on his feet, Ace has a variety of acrobatic attacks that can be easily chained; he can, as well, dodge attacks more fluidly. The weakness to Ace's style of fighting is that his attacks are generally weak and can be easily stopped by bigger opponents.[/spoiler]
[spoiler=Secondary Weapon(s) & Equipment:][b]Natural Anima Vials[/b]: In the brown bag that he wears strapped to his belt, Ace always carry at least four vials of natural Anima used to heal minor wounds.

[b]Small Binoculars[/b]: Ace also carries a pair of small, black binoculars for use in surveying enemy outposts. The binoculars, despite their small size, are quite advance being able to zoom quite a long distance and having multiple viewing modes including night vision and infrared.[/spoiler]
[spoiler=Special Technique(s):][b]Aerial Upper[/b]: Ace first attacks with a quick upward slash, knocking the opponent into the air, and then leaps into the air and finishes the attack with downward stroke, sending his opponent plummeting into the ground.

[b]Zephyr Wing[/b]: Ace throws his sabre at the enemy(s). The momentum that the light-weight sabre picks up causes it to move in the style of a boomerang, hitting the enemy(s) before returning to be caught by Ace.

[b]Maelstrom[/b]: Ace rapidly spins his sabre to create a circular "shield" that can be used to deflect incoming projectiles.

[b]Sparrow Dart[/b]: Running in a zigzag pattern, Ace strikes enemies as he pass by them.[/spoiler]
[spoiler=Magic:][b]Blue Ripple[/b]: The tip of Ace's sabre ignites in blue flames. He then proceeds to slam his sabre into the ground, causing the blue flames to split into three separate trails that shoots toward the enemy(s) and create a medium-sized explosion of blue flames. Depending on how many enemies there are, the blue flames can either hit three enemies or converge at the last moment to hit either one or two enemies.

[b]Fireball[/b]: A simple magic that has Ace shooting a single fireball from the palm of his hand.

[b]Stray Stars[/b]: Ace's weapon glows bright yellow as he points it toward the sky (this magic only works in an outside area). Three shining, yellow star-shaped projectiles then plummet from the sky to hit the area in which the enemy(s) is in. This magic can hit or miss at random.[/spoiler][/spoiler]

The only deviation from the picture, is that Sei has a short hair cut that frames her face on either side. As for the uniform, Sei didn't really change it much, choosing to wear the boots and is quite content with the other requirements. However, the cape, instead of wearing it as a came show wears it around her waist with the clasp on her left side. As for an undershirt, she wears a red tank top, but her stomach isn't shown due to the bandages that were wrapped around her waste. Her arms are also wrapped up in bandages, starting from her knuckles and ending right below her elbow. Bandages are also on her legs starting from her ankle and ending right below her knees, however only a bit of it is seen due to her long socks. Th reason being is because they hide the [spoiler=marking][img]http://www.vectorfree.com/media/vectors/tribal-tattoo-vector.jpg[/img][/spoiler]embedded on her skin (vertical on her arms and legs, and horizontal on her stomach).[/spoiler]
[spoiler=Personality:]One thing about Sei that was very odd is that she enjoys coloring in coloring books, and drawing very crude looking pictures for the others. Along with enjoying the rather pointless activity, she also does so to show her love for her friends. Another oddity about her is that she doesn't speak. Not that she [i]can't [/i]speak she just doesn't. Sei just doesn't like wasting her time with talking, believing that actions convey the message much clearer. Despite that, the other 12 don't seem to have a problem with understanding her often holding conversations with her while she just seems to smile and stare back at them. Sometimes Sei writes on a white sign with a red crayon for when speaking to those who can't understand her. In some cases she will actually talk, like for when calling out her attack, but she uses the least amount of words as possible which ends up causing more confusion.

Her facial expressions are easy to read, and she's not good with hiding her emotions. If she's sad, happy, or annoyed it will clearly be expressed making her an open book, and very blunt with how she feels towards people. If she doesn't like someone they will know in a heartbeat. Though when in a fight she manages to keep a straight face. She also isn't the most patient person when it comes to certain things(mostly with her crayons. Don't ever get between her and her crayons), and can display quite the selfish, and monopolistic tendency with people she likes - mainly the 13 unit. Sei also has the habit of hugging the other members or hanging around the other members when bored. Over all she is an easy and very simple person to get alone with.

Sei is a kind hearted person, not liking to see anyone especially her friends - who she sees more as family considering the circumstances - in pain and would rather take the pain herself, whether it be physical or otherwise. Not surprising, she has an extremely high tolerance for pain not even flinching at what most people would be hollering for. Exactly how far her threshold for pain is hasn't been found out. Even so, she doesn't shy away from something that pay be painful since she knows that feeling pain is a part of life.[/spoiler]

[b][u]Combat Info[/u][/b]

The weapon, named [b]Soul Splitter[/b], is a 5'5 long weapon and a blade span of 3 feet from base to tip. The scythe is usually laying across her back. Where the grip guards are at it can be separated into two sickle like weapons.[/spoiler]
[spoiler=Fighting Style:] Sei is a close and mid-ranged fighter. Due to [b]Soul Splitter [/b]being a double bladed scythe, she has twice the cutting power along with considerable reach. Sei's main fighting style is utilizing [i]Chain Attacking[/i], which are long unrelenting striking combos. She is quick, and light on her toes, her strikes coming so fast that they seem appear to cut through air. [b]Soul Splitter[/b] can also become two weapons by detaching from each other at the center of the body, essentially becoming two large Kama-like weapons. If she is forced too she can fight bare handed, and while she is good at it, it is obvious it's not her expertise.

Sei's weakness would be dealing with long ranged fighters, and other fighters that can keep out of her range. Since her attacks at chain combos, she has to always keep them in her fighting distance other wise she won't really have anything to do. Sei is a chain fighter, and as long as she makes contact with her opponent she can essentially keep attack for as long as she can hold the chain. So if she was to miss her opponent whether initially, or in the middle of a chain, she will have to retreat immediately or risk being vulnerable to attack. Her chain attacks deal with not leaving the opponent time to react, so while they are fast they aren't exactly powerful enough to cause massive damage. When finishing chain attacks, her last attack is usually the killing blow so she will give everything to the last attack. If it is dodged she will be left open momentarily as she will have to regroup herself.[/spoiler]

[i]Chain Scythe - [/i]A 6 part chain combo which is initiated after the first strike makes solid contact. Scythe can be together or separated.

[i]Dual Scissors - [/i]The two blades glow blue, and Sei gives two cross slashes, in which a glowing 'X' shaped scar heads towards the opponent. Scythe can be together or separated.

[i]Carnage Scissors - [/i]Basically a mix of her other two attacks. She begins with a 7 part chain combo then ends with her [i]Dual Scissors [/i]attack. Scythe can be together or separated.

[i]Havok Circle - [/i]Performed when surrounded, or out numbered. Separates the Scythe into it's two parts, attacking everyone who gets in her way with chain combos. Finishes her attack by reforming the single scythe and throwing it, causing it to spin rappidly cutting down whatever is in it's path before returning to Sei.[/spoiler]
[spoiler=Magic:]Though Sei does have magic abilities she doesn't use it all of the time. The reason being is because in order to use it she has to be in some sort of physical or emotional pain. The more pain she is in the more powerful her attacks her. So essentially her attacks can be infinitely powerful as long as she can remain conscious through the pain. This is one reason why her pain tolerance is so high. It's best to think of the pain she receives as a sort of gauge that is absorbed by the markings on her. When she takes a certain amount of damage the markings glow allowing ehr to use her techniques, which then need to be refilled once they have been used. Because of this Sei is used to fighting while in a heavily damaged position.

[b]Reverse Healing: [/b]While it can be thought of as healing, it's more so absorbing the pain of someone else and taking it on for herself. Say for instances someone has a cut on her finger, when she uses this technique she can transfer the damage to herself. The the person will become "healed" and Sei will now have a cut on her finger. She can absorb any type of pain a person is feeling, even the pain emotions in which the person in question will feel numb and cold for a while. While using this technique she must maintain contact with the other.

[b]Death Scythe: [/b]The blades glow red hue, and the bottom blade vanishes with the length added to the top blade, making it larger and longer. The speed and damage dealt is increased. The more pain Sei is in, the stronger this attack becomes. With every swing, Sei is able to release a sickle shaped red energy blast, that gets larger as more pain is accumulated. The attack is active for only five minutes before it finishes, before Sei's pain needs to accumulate again. Requires 3 markings to glow.

[b]Heaven Massacre[/b]: Sei holds her scythe over her head and she begins to spin, rapidly gaining speed. A red beam then shoots into the sky before dozens of red, sickle shaped blades rain down onto the opponents. After this attack Sei is usually at her limit as her "pain gauge" has to be considerably high. Requires all five markings to glow.[/spoiler][/spoiler]

The sheer size was reason enough for Trey’s place in Unit 13, as his own influence from the serum lead to intense and incredible enhancement within his muscular tissue as he developed, in addition to the intense testosterone during puberty which he used to burn on increasing his Herculean Body: tanned skin, rock hard muscles, and a daunting height of 6’6” await those who approach this giant, who’s etched with his intense deep brown hair and eyebrows; his blue eyes give a more gentle edge to this titan.[/spoiler]
[spoiler=Personality:]In contrast to his hulking physique, perhaps the tip top condition of a human being, Trey has a heart of gold, and abhors the use of unnecessary, and especially inhumane, unjust, and cruel violence. Being rather sentimental, Trey has kept to follow the idea of “If you haven’t got anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all.”, as well as advices others to try do the same, simply due to seeing people on a more optimistic side of things, indeed something admirable, however in addition to this his vocabulary for things that aren’t nice to say usually don’t extend any more hurtful than “You’re a mean person who’s mean!” which, when spoken to in Trey’s rather deep and intense voice, sends shivers down someone’s spine regardless. Trey tends to be rather sympathetic and empathetic with people, and enjoys listening in turn of speaking simply because he enjoys learning things about people. Furthermore, being a listener is also down to his rather quiet nature: Trey’s quietness stems from two root causes, which firstly is due to his disliking of beating around the bush, however heavily on shyness; due to his lower level of intelligence he doesn’t wish to embarrass him and, well, res ipsa loquiter. It should be noted, however, Trey’s usually emotionally aloof expression is deceitful due to the fact that, despite having this expression, it’s usually when he’s more serious in contrast to his usual playful manner. Rather comically, some of Trey’s interests differ to what people may deem as “macho” however he’s yet to encounter someone to call him up on these, interestingly enough; however, if one doesn’t think he’s willing to scrap, one’d best be aware he does enjoy to wrestle in friendly situations. Finally, one very crucial note to take into account: don’t push Trey too far.[/spoiler]

[spoiler=Fighting Style:]Trey’s fighting style is peculiar: he makes prominent, and very effective work with his war hammer, able to deal very powerful blows with both powerful swings of his hammer’s head, or even just ramming enemies with its pole, usually driven to force opponents into submission; however, upon rare occasion outside a friendly spar, Trey’ll drop his hammer and use his wrestling techniques, occurring in situations whereby an opponent challenges him in said art, or in turn its needed. In either situation, Trey’s capabilities are very interesting: his offensive and defensive skills are, often, unrivalled and incredible. However, when unarmed, Trey has a difficulty with getting up from the ground on his back, which makes him vulnerable downed; when using his hammer, he can, though rare, clumsily cause collateral damage. Furthermore, with slightly slow speed and his psyche, Trey’s barbarian might is placed heavily into perspective…unless he goes berserk, of course.

In Summary: Trey’s brute strength and endurance is difficult to contend with, and alongside his brutal hammer skills and powerful wrestling manoeuvres really put the Giant in his Gentle Giant accolade; however being a slower member of Unit 13 as well as unwilling to fend for himself, he’s best in a team scenario with a member in need of backup.[/spoiler]

Tolv doesn’t actually have his hair that long. It’s basically that except with the hair that goes down so low.

He wears a shorter version of the jacket that ends above his waist instead of the longer standard. It should also be noted that he wears his jacket open revealing a dark blue t-shirt with a black picture resembling the chamber of a revolver on it. Like the female uniform he has the collar bent down. He tends to claim the collar up just gets in the way. Another addition to his attire is a belt lined with bullets for his revolver along with a holster on each of his sides for his revolvers.[/spoiler]
[spoiler=Personality]Tolv is known as the most aggressive of all of the members in Unit 13. He’s the most prone to use “colorful” language as some might call it and resort to violence as a way to solve problems instead of something silly like words. Despite acting in a rude and quite vicious manner Tolv’s intelligence isn’t all that inferior to the remaining members. He ranks somewhere around the middle in terms of I.Q. among the group. Despite that he has always preferred an “actions speak louder than words” philosophy in life and he has the tendency to focus on combat rather than any sort of academic work. It also explains his “stronger” language as in if he’s going to use words they might as well be the ones with the greatest impacts. A.K.A. Swear words. Of course he is not limited to them.

Despite all this he’s actually very caring of the other members in Unit 13 even though he really may not seem like it in most cases and in most cases swear at them just as much as anybody else. As mentioned though words though are nearly meaningless to him compared to actions taken and he tends to prove how much he cares for his teammates in combat by always having their backs or by always being willing to help them train or sometimes join in on their personal hobbies…as long as it isn’t what he’d deem completely boring which is pretty much anything not involving violence or plenty of movement.[/spoiler]

He wields two twin revolvers both resembling the gun in the picture. He calls the set [b]Gemini[/b] but when he gets into more detail he’ll refer to them individually by the names [b]Castor[/b] and [b]Pollux[/b].[/spoiler]
[spoiler=Fighting Style]Out of the three ranged fighters Tolv has the highest firing rate and ammunition capacity (Kat having two bullets and Trece only having one arrow versus the six bullets that Tolv has in each of his guns). His maximum range and power of his bullets also falls in between the two. Where he really begins to fall behind the other two is his reload speed and the fact that he carries less bullets on him at all times. Because of that he has to be somewhat savvier with his ammunition which he does by spending a lot of his time in close quarters so when he shoots he’s less likely to miss and he may also engage in melee combat as to not use his bullets exclusively to gain kills or knockouts. Using two guns at one point also causes a loss of accuracy as it is difficult for the average person to have a steady aim with two guns although Tolv’s proficiency is high enough that this isn’t really that much of a problem for him anymore. In most cases he’s able to point his revolvers in two different directions and still hit some close range targets fine and then quickly switch to two other targets at close range and hit them fine. It’s when doing this at more of a longer range that things become difficult.

His actual combat style is a bit unorthodox as mentioned before he mixes together melee and ranged combat so he’s constantly switching back and forth between the two. It’s actually somewhat hard to tell if he’s about to smack you across the face a bunch of times with his revolver, use a single bullet…or twelve, or just chuck his gun at your face. All of which being able to deal sometimes lethal amounts of damage but it’s obvious to say his damage caused in melee combat easily trails behind that of all the members specializing in it. Tolv has a high amount of maneuverability and movement speed that surpasses that of even Eight. He also a very high attack speed but that is surpassed by some of the other members, most notably Dis who leads in those regards but also somebody like Eight and possibly Ace.

As mentioned before his actual melee strength is quite low and in intense combat he may actually fail to kill an enemy by using a melee move. Not to mention his reach with it is only slightly longer than Eight yet somewhat slower and much weaker. His defense is also incredibly low so he relies on his speed to avoid attacks. Another disadvantage he faces is one he tends to bring upon himself. As mentioned in personality he is the single most aggressive of all the members and therefore tends to be the first to jump into action even if it’s an obvious trap with a large group of enemies.

It should also be noted that due to his weapon along with his combat style and willingness to fight whenever he makes a great training partner for pretty much any other member.[/spoiler]

[spoiler=Special Techniques][b]Rebound[/b] - Tolv chucks or kicks his revolver at something. Afterwards the revolver will act as a boomerang and return to him unless it hits something. In that case if enough force was put into it then the revolver will rebound off the target and return to him.
[b]Refraction[/b] - Tolv fires a shot that bounces off one or many hard surfaces to hit a target. The amount of concentration and thought needed to pull off this technique scales with the amount of times the bullet bounces off a surface.

[spoiler=Magic][b]Reflection[/b] - Reflection is a magic technique that also acts as Tolv’s best source of defense. A small barrier is created for a split second that is able to completely reflect a few weaker attacks or at least least able to limit damage taken from a strong attack to a degree while still possibly reflecting some of the damage back. The skill is most effective against ranged attacks such as bullets or magic as melee attacks appear harder to reflect.[/spoiler][/spoiler]

[spoiler=Personality]Being only 4' 7", Sheva is definitely sensitive about her height, but not in an "awww.. why would you say that" kind of way. Instead, Sheva's short temper goes off and she's ready to pick a fight. It's not just her height that flares up her temper, sadly. Stupidity, lack of common sense, nonsense, and a few other things tick her off. Despite often being seen as immature most of the time, Sheva actually thinks ahead and more thoroughly than most people that are twice her age. In fact, Sheva thinks way too far ahead and too thoroughly, often leading her to imagine up scenarios that are almost impossible, but still have a slight chance of happening.

As for her personality, aspect wise, Sheva represents the entire coin we call trust. On one side, when Sheva trusts someone, she trusts them 110%. So far, there's only one person she completely trusts and that's Trey. With his personality and aspect, she knows Trey would never knowingly or willing betray her. On the other side of the coin, Sheva has a hard time trusting anyone, even the rest of the members of Unit 13. This leads to the grey area of Sheva's trust, the small area that binds both sides. Having grown up with Unit 13, aside from Trey, she doesn't completely trust the others, but just enough to be able to go on missions with them. Only when it's needed, of course.[/spoiler]

Septyni is special whip sword that runs on magic. When no magic is being fed into it, its a [acronym=Top one sword what it looks like]normal[/acronym] 5' sword. When magic is fed into it, however, Septyni initially breaks up into 7 segments and can then be used as the whip sword it is with a reach of 10 feet. If more magic is fed into it then what's initially needed, the seven segments will break again into a total of 14 segments with a range of 15 feet max.[/spoiler]
[spoiler=Fighting Style:]Sheva's fighting style with her whip sword is to be as close to her opponent without being within their range of attack. Like with any other whip, there's a slight recovery time Sheva has after launching an attack that can leave an a small opening for her opponent, but after fighting with this sword for her whole life, the opening is very small and she's worked out ways around this issue. Another weakness with this fighting style is the weapon itself. If both magical connectors between two segments is disturbed by a separate source of magic, the segments will fall apart from each other and takes about [acronym=10 for when its 7 segments and 20 for when its 14 segments]10-20[/acronym] seconds before the segments are rejoined.[/spoiler]
[spoiler=Secondary Weapon(s) & Equipment:]Besides Septyni, Sheva also carries a steel crown, a skull, a seahorse shaped ocarina, and a king chess piece that's half black half white.[/spoiler]
[spoiler=Special Technique(s):]Red Ribbon - As a finishing move, Sheva will wrap Septyni around the opponent and give it a quick tug, shredding the opponent into ribbons.[/spoiler]
[spoiler=Magic]When Sheva was young, she came across a strange pocket watch that was haunted by a spirit of a groom who died when he tripped down a flight of stairs as he checked his watch to make sure he would reach his wedding in time. Well, we all know how that turned out.. Since finding that watch, Sheva began to collect objects that were haunted. She eventually came across an item that was actually cursed and somehow, Sheva was able to make a contact with the demon that cursed it. Now, instead of learning spells, Sheva saves her magic energy to summon out her demonic familiars. So far, out of her huge collection, she only has 4 demons which are listed in ascending power.

But due to the fact that she needs to be near/in water, her usefulness places her at the bottom of the list for strength. Manipulating water, Ningyo is able to move it to her will. She can even have it boil or freeze into her ice, if she wished. To summon Ningyo, Sheva must play a specific melody on the seahorse shaped ocarina she carries around. Once Ningyo is out, as long as Sheva plays the ocarina and has magical energy, Ningyo will stay out; usually 30 minutes max, assuming Ningyo doesn't use up Sheva's magic energy too fast to boil/freeze the water.

Manipulating holes in the dimensions, Haiiro is able to teleport himself, attacks or objects around. Usually, he does this in ways that mimic the moving abilities of chess pieces like the Knight, Bishop, and Rook. To summon out Haiiro, Sheva must cut the king chess piece straight down the middle, separating the black from the white. She must then proceed to cut them up into diamonds. From there, the diamonds begin to glow, grow and rearrange themselves into the body shape of Haiiro as the rest of his body pop out from there. Using Sheva's magical energy to manipulate the dimension holes, as long as he doesn't get carried away with how often or how heavy/strong the object/attack he teleports, he generate stays out for about 30 minutes as well during combat. If Sheva has him out for company or [acronym=due to his wide range of knowledge]advise[/acronym], he can stay out almost for 8 hours.

Taking the [acronym=the one he's holding in the pic]skull[/acronym], Sheva must then fill the skull with her magical energy until it begins to crack. From there, she tosses it into the air and Agari emerges from the Underworld to catch the skull and uses it power his dark magic. Depending how Sheva packed the magic into the skull, the skull with allow Agari to use magic for 15 minutes if she quickly and loosely packed the magic into the skull. If Sheva took her time and packed it with condensed down energy, Agari has stayed out for an hour one time. From there, once the skull is drained of magic energy, Agari will either go back, or he'll stay and watch the rest of the fight.

She's also the most dangerous demon for Sheva to summon. In order for Sheva to summon Ryuuhime, she must place the crown on her head and let Ryuuhime possess her body. From there, both Sheva's body and Septyni are transformed as Ryuuhime takes over. After that, Sheva must be careful on what she lets Ryuuhime do and how much of her magical energy gets drained before attempting to take back control. With Ryuuhime having the love of fighting, destruction and blood, she's never willing to go back to the Underworld. This'll lead to a fight of will between Sheva and Ryuuhime and if Sheva is too worn out from the amount of magical energy that she lost because of Ryuuhime and if Sheva ever loses this battle of will, lets say it'll be the last thing Sheva will ever do..[/spoiler][/spoiler][/spoiler]

Her own unique "fighting style" involves activating magic with her flute by playing different melodies. She can walk around and evade simple enemy attacks, but cannot perform any evasive maneuvers that require concentration because it will interrupt her magic activation. Kat incorporates a variety of different ammunition for different purposes, but all of which packs quite a powerful punch especially in close proximity. A weakness of her fighting style is that she cannot move when firing her weapon and she must reload constantly albeit her reload time is not nearly as much as Tolv's. All of her attacks are associated with swinging motions that can all hit multiple enemies at once and deal great damage while also knocking them down and stunning them temporarily. However, because of his weapon's length, the speed of Nine's attacks are slower than average. Nine's movement speed and mobility in battle are also slower than average. All-in-all, Nine is the fourth slowest member of Unit 13 in battle, just a tad above Kat, Dual when she's using her flute, and Cinque who is the slowest member of Unit 13 when using her weapon. He also hates being left out. Dis' best, and possibly also worst, attribute, however, is his tendency to encourage his teammates to "take it easy" even in dangerous surroundings and near-death situations. [spoiler=Fighting Style:]Dis is the fastest combatant of all the members in Unit 13. He uses powerful, blinding fast slashes that can easily render enemy armaments useless as well as easily slicing off limbs. Many of his techniques require expert timing. Dis is incredibly skilled when it comes to parrying, albeit, a tad slower when it comes to counter striking when presented with an opportunity. However, the drawback for his quick-and-powerful-oriented fighting style is that he has limited maneuverability. He is able to quickly sidestep and leap short distances to evade attacks, but he is unable to evade in rapid succession, meaning if he faces an opponent who will attack for a long time without stopping or tiring, Dis will get hit. That is why his fighting style is geared more towards finishing an opponent fast instead of a prolonged battling.[/spoiler]

Her basic fighting style is mostly grounded and consists of wide, powerful slashes. [spoiler=Fighting Style:]Trece has the longest range of all members of Unit 13. When compared to Tolv's and Kat's weapons, his accuracy and reload rate are faster but his firing rate is significantly slower than Tolv's and slightly slower than Kat's. This is due to his fighting style that focuses on precision firing from afar. Trece becomes vulnerable when firing his arrows so he usually fires from a cover. He also has low mobility when aiming and firing which makes it difficult for him to avoid faster attacks.[/spoiler]

But there's 13 possible characters! (14 if you count Nil) Would it not be more interesting to have each character controlled by a different person?
And how were we supposed to know about this? If this was an Exclusive RP you should've mentioned in the title!
And reserving? >.< I hate it. It basically limits everyone else. What if someone else could've made a better character, but you missed it because someone else 'reserved'?

As for the exclusive thing, I didn't feel like I need to considering I put "Not Accepting" in the title which is pretty much self-explanatory but I guess you're right
Finally, if anyone who has reserved and fails to post an app that is qualified by my standards after a few tries, then I will gladly open the spot for someone else. With that said however, those who have reserves have never failed to impress me in both their apps and posts in the IC so there is very little chance any spots will be open later.

The only deviation from the picture, is that Sei has a short hair cut that frames her face on either side. As for the uniform, Sei didn't really change it much, choosing to wear the boots and is quite content with the other requirements. However, the cape, instead of wearing it as a came show wears it around her waist with the clasp on her left side. As for an undershirt, she wears a red tank top, but her stomach isn't shown due to the bandages that were wrapped around her waste. Her arms are also wrapped up in bandages, starting from her knuckles and ending right below her elbow. Bandages are also on her legs starting from her ankle and ending right below her knees, however only a bit of it is seen due to her long socks. Th reason being is because they hide the [spoiler=marking][img]http://www.vectorfree.com/media/vectors/tribal-tattoo-vector.jpg[/img] [/spoiler]embedded on her skin (vertical on her arms and legs, and horizontal on her stomach).[/spoiler]

[spoiler=Personality:] One thing about Sei that was very odd is that she enjoys coloring in coloring books, and drawing very crude looking pictures for the others. Along with enjoying the rather pointless activity, she also does so to show her love for her friends. Another oddity about her is that she doesn't speak. Not that she [i]can't [/i]speak she just doesn't. Sei just doesn't like wasting her time with talking, believing that actions convey the message much clearer. Despite that, the other 12 don't seem to have a problem with understanding her often holding conversations with her while she just seems to smile and stare back at them. Sometimes Sei writes on a white sign with a red crayon for when speaking to those who can't understand her. In some cases she will actually talk, like for when calling out her attack, but she uses the least amount of words as possible which ends up causing more confusion.

Her facial expressions are easy to read, and she's not good with hiding her emotions. If she's sad, happy, or annoyed it will clearly be expressed making her an open book, and very blunt with how she feels towards people. If she doesn't like someone they will know in a heartbeat. Though when in a fight she manages to keep a straight face. She also isn't the most patient person when it comes to certain things(mostly with her crayons. Don't ever get between her and her crayons), and can display quite the selfish, and monopolistic tendency with people she likes - mainly the 13 unit. Sei also has the habit of hugging the other members or hanging around the other members when bored. Over all she is an easy and very simple person to get alone with.

Sei is a kind hearted person, not liking to see anyone especially her friends - who she sees more as family considering the circumstances - in pain and would rather take the pain herself, whether it be physical or otherwise. Not surprising, she has an extremely high tolerance for pain not even flinching at what most people would be hollering for. Exactly how far her threshold for pain is hasn't been found out. Even so, she doesn't shy away from something that pay be painful since she knows that feeling pain is a part of life.[/spoiler]

The weapon, named [b]Soul Splitter[/b], is a 5'5 long weapon and a blade span of 3 feet from base to tip. The scythe is usually laying across her back. Where the grip guards are at it can be separated into two sickle like weapons.[/spoiler]

[spoiler=Fighting Style:] Sei is a close and mid-ranged fighter. Due to [b]Soul Splitter [/b]being a double bladed scythe, she has twice the cutting power along with considerable reach. Sei's main fighting style is utilizing [i]Chain Attacking[/i], which are long unrelenting striking combos. She is quick, and light on her toes, her strikes coming so fast that they seem appear to cut through air. [b]Soul Splitter[/b] can also become two weapons by detaching from each other at the center of the body, essentially becoming two large Kama-like weapons. If she is forced too she can fight bare handed, and while she is good at it, it is obvious it's not her expertise.

Sei's weakness would be dealing with long ranged fighters, and other fighters that can keep out of her range. Since her attacks at chain combos, she has to always keep them in her fighting distance other wise she won't really have anything to do. Sei is a chain fighter, and as long as she makes contact with her opponent she can essentially keep attack for as long as she can hold the chain. So if she was to miss her opponent whether initially, or in the middle of a chain, she will have to retreat immediately or risk being vulnerable to attack. Her chain attacks deal with not leaving the opponent time to react, so while they are fast they aren't exactly powerful enough to cause massive damage. When finishing chain attacks, her last attack is usually the killing blow so she will give everything to the last attack. If it is dodged she will be left open momentarily as she will have to regroup herself.[/spoiler]

[i]Chain Scythe - [/i]A 6 part chain combo which is initiated after the first strike makes solid contact. Scythe can be together or separated.

[i]Heaven Destroyer - [/i]Throws the scythe so it spins rapidly then returning to Sei.

[i]Dual Scissors - [/i]The two blades glow blue, and Sei gives two cross slashes, in which a glowing 'X' shaped scar heads towards the opponent. Scythe can be together or separated.

[i]Carnage Scissors - [/i]Basically a mix of her other two attacks. She begins with a 7 part chain combo then ends with her [i]Dual Scissors [/i]attack. Scythe can be together or separated.

[i]Havok Circle - [/i]Performed when surrounded, or out numbered. Separates the Scythe into it's two parts, attacking everyone who gets in her way with chain combos. Finishes her attack by reforming the single scythe and throwing it, causing it to spin rappidly cutting down whatever is in it's path before returning to Sei.[/spoiler]

Though Sei does have magic abilities she doesn't use it all of the time. The reason being is because in order to use it she has to be in some sort of physical or emotional pain. The more pain she is in the more powerful her attacks her. So essentially her attacks can be infinitely powerful as long as she can remain conscious through the pain. This is one reason why her pain tolerance is so high. It's best to think of the pain she receives as a sort of gauge that is absorbed by the markings on her. When she takes a certain amount of damage the markings glow allowing ehr to use her techniques, which then need to be refilled once they have been used. Because of this Sei is used to fighting while in a heavily damaged position.

[b]Reverse Healing: [/b]While it can be thought of as healing, it's more so absorbing the pain of someone else and taking it on for herself. Say for instances someone has a cut on her finger, when she uses this technique she can transfer the damage to herself. The the person will become "healed" and Sei will now have a cut on her finger. She can absorb any type of pain a person is feeling, even the pain emotions in which the person in question will feel numb and cold for a while. While using this technique she must maintain contact with the other.

[b]Death Scythe: [/b]The blades glow red hue, and the bottom blade vanishes with the length added to the top blade, making it larger and longer. The speed and damage dealt is increased. The more pain Sei is in, the stronger this attack becomes. With every swing, Sei is able to release a sickle shaped red energy blast, that gets larger as more pain is accumulated. The attack is active for only five minutes before it finishes, before Sei's pain needs to accumulate again. Requires 3 markings to glow.

[b]Heaven Massacre[/b]: Sei holds her scythe over her head and she begins to spin, rapidly gaining speed. A red beam then shoots into the sky before dozens of red, sickle shaped blades rain down onto the opponents. After this attack Sei is usually at her limit as her "pain gauge" has to be considerably high. Requires all five markings to glow.

The sheer size was reason enough for Trey’s place in Unit 13, as his own influence from the serum lead to intense and incredible enhancement within his muscular tissue as he developed, in addition to the intense testosterone during puberty which he used to burn on increasing his Herculean Body: tanned skin, rock hard muscles, and a daunting height of 6’6” await those who approach this giant, who’s etched with his intense deep brown hair and eyebrows; his blue eyes give a more gentle edge to this titan.[/spoiler]
[spoiler=Personality:]In contrast to his hulking physique, perhaps the tip top condition of a human being, Trey has a heart of gold, and abhors the use of unnecessary, and especially inhumane, unjust, and cruel violence. Being rather sentimental, Trey has kept to follow the idea of “If you haven’t got anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all.”, as well as advices others to try do the same, simply due to seeing people on a more optimistic side of things, indeed something admirable, however in addition to this his vocabulary for things that aren’t nice to say usually don’t extend any more hurtful than “You’re a mean person who’s mean!” which, when spoken to in Trey’s rather deep and intense voice, sends shivers down someone’s spine regardless. Trey tends to be rather sympathetic and empathetic with people, and enjoys listening in turn of speaking simply because he enjoys learning things about people. Furthermore, being a listener is also down to his rather quiet nature: Trey’s quietness stems from two root causes, which firstly is due to his disliking of beating around the bush, however heavily on shyness; due to his lower level of intelligence he doesn’t wish to embarrass him and, well, res ipsa loquiter. It should be noted, however, Trey’s usually emotionally aloof expression is deceitful due to the fact that, despite having this expression, it’s usually when he’s more serious in contrast to his usual playful manner. Rather comically, some of Trey’s interests differ to what people may deem as “macho” however he’s yet to encounter someone to call him up on these, interestingly enough; however, if one doesn’t think he’s willing to scrap, one’d best be aware he does enjoy to wrestle in friendly situations. Finally, one very crucial note to take into account: don’t push Trey too far.[/spoiler]

[b]War Hammer:[/b] Trey makes excellent usage of a War Hammer, this Model the Achilles QKE Model #26449 (colloquially donned the Achilles Quake), which, despite its intense density, specializes in using high pressurized air for devastating blows.[/spoiler]
[spoiler=Fighting Style:]Trey’s fighting style is peculiar: he makes prominent, and very effective work with his war hammer, able to deal very powerful blows with both powerful swings of his hammer’s head, or even just ramming enemies with its pole, usually driven to force opponents into submission; however, upon rare occasion outside a friendly spar, Trey’ll drop his hammer and use his wrestling techniques, occurring in situations whereby an opponent challenges him in said art, or in turn its needed. In either situation, Trey’s capabilities are very interesting: his offensive and defensive skills are, often, unrivalled and incredible. However, when unarmed, Trey has a difficulty with getting up from the ground on his back, which makes him vulnerable downed; when using his hammer, he can, though rare, clumsily cause collateral damage. Furthermore, with slightly slow speed and his psyche, Trey’s barbarian might is placed heavily into perspective…unless he goes berserk, of course.

In Summary: Trey’s brute strength and endurance is difficult to contend with, and alongside his brutal hammer skills and powerful wrestling manoeuvres really put the Giant in his Gentle Giant accolade; however being a slower member of Unit 13 as well as unwilling to fend for himself, he’s best in a team scenario with a member in need of backup.[/spoiler]
[spoiler=Secondary Weapon(s) & Equipment: ][b]Sewing Kit:[/b] Usually done for his hobby, Trey’s kit can be helpful in the case of need for stiches, although he usually prefers to patch up Unit 13’s uniform when tattered.[/spoiler]
[spoiler=Special Technique(s):][spoiler=Unarmed Brach:] [b]Dash Grapple:[/b] A very simple procedure, whereby Trey using a quick burst of speed in order to grapple an opponent, whereby he leads into different techniques…

[u]Flash Splash Suplex:[/u] Using Dash Grapple’s momentum, Trey uses his own weight to lift the opponent over his body and slam him into the ground, however not before splashing his body upon the opponent to amplify the power of the move.

[u]Guillotine Clothesline:[/u] Throwing the opponent back whilst remaining caught with his left hand, Trey ploughs his arm into his opponent. (Weaker alternative involves a Dash, however without grappling.)
[/spoiler][spoiler=War Hammer Brach:][b]Hammerhead:[/b] By holding his war hammer, Achilles Quake, by its pole fastened into the head, following which he “throws” the head forwards, the Hammer acts like a battering ram, dealing an intense and heavy blow to, usually, the chest or head of the opponent; on a limb it’d knock it back, simply nudging an opponent.

[b]Soaring Comet:[/b] Firstly an upper swing of his war hammer sends the enemy skywards, following which Trey leaps into the air and smacks the hammer upon his opponent, either causing them to be launched down (which he calls the Comet variant) or dragged down into an enormous blow (which he calls the Meteor variant)

[b]Table Flipper:[/b] Charging an orb of concentrated air in the circular area of his hammer, Trey smashes it into an opponent: the released air will send the opponent flying with much greater momentum.
