Bahamut - Envoy of the End
For my 4,000th post on this site almost two years on from joining (I really should spend more time training or socialising with real people shouldn't I?) I tried to make a monster with 4000 ATK and DEF and keep it balanced. I probably failed. RVAC-099 Hyper Striker X4000 Secret Rare LIGHT ********** Machine/Xyz/Effect 3 Level 10 Monsters While there is Xyz Material attached to this card, it is unaffected by the effects of Spell and Trap cards. Once per turn: Detach 1 Xyz Material to Target 1 monster your opponent controls; change its Battle Position (if the target monster is face down, flip it face up. Flip effects are not activated at this time). If there is no Xyz Material attached to this card; its original ATK and DEF is halved. ATK 4000 / DEF 4000 Machines are easy and generic to give huge ATK to, but at least this can't have its Limiter Removed. Now obviously, this is going head to head with Fuya's Super Galaxy Destroyer thingy, which has more attack and a great mindsweeping effect once on the field that makes it practically immune to traps itself. But it's still vulnerable to Dark Hole, lolShrink, Book of Moon and its own mediocre defence, etc, etc. Even to Torrential. This isn't, which when you've gone to the effort of overlaying three Level 10 monster I can only imagine the rage of seeing it Bottomless'd. Effect is maybe nothing ripsnortingly new, but I can't think of an Xyz monster that acually does this (may be wrong, it seems like a glaring gap) and it seems fitting. So yeah, how'd I do? Alice Moonflowyr
Dude, no fail here. The simple fact that it needs three level tens makes it balanced XD And yeah, I dont think that theres any Xyz monster that already has the effect. And uh...wouldnt it be immune to Bottomless as well? I think you meant Warning/Judgment. Link to comment
Enguin Enguin Enguin Enguin
I think it's pretty good but....what decks can realistically get out 3 Level 10s into a situation where you'd rather summon this than stick with your 3 Level 10s? Other than that I see no problem, but the fact that the one problem I see is actually a reason to summon it, well...yeah. I can't see anything to change it to that wouldn't make it overpowered, but at the moment it seems a bit weak. I'm not sure though, could just be me. Link to comment
Toffee.
I'm tempted to say change the materials to 2, and give it some kind of "This card cant attack direct" clause, but that would defeat the purpose. Regardless, the card is badass. Link to comment
Galkin
You know, you could have flawed the card a little. How am I suppose to comment on a card that is both balanced AND good? Link to comment
Bahamut - Envoy of the End
Can't be bothered to quote everyone when reply is mainly 'To All'. Why can I not get this many people commenting on my set? It's only 58 cards... and counting... Spike: Yes it is immune to Bottomless. What I meant was it must be frustrating to go to great lengths to summon Super Robo > Bottomless > NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! So this is protected. I guess Enguin and Armadilloz are right in that's its maybe even still more trouble than its worth in that you're probably giving up to much ATK powers / attacks to be beneficial, but I'm guessing we're going to be getting more cards like Galaxy Queen's Light and Tannhauser Gate in every set now as Numbers get bigger and badder. Thanks for comments guys. Link to comment
