.Rai
Lightforce Sword / Flame Tiger 3 Flame Tiger 3 Flamvell Firedog 3 Tour Guide from the Underworld 3 Metaion, the Time Lord 1 Neo Flamvell Hedgehog 1 Flamvell Magician 1 Sangan 1 Effect Veiler 1 Gorz the Emissary of Darkness 3 Pot of Duality 3 Mystical Space Typhoon 1 Dark Hole 1 Monster Reborn 1 Heavy Storm 1 Book of Moon 3 Lightforce Sword 3 Fiendish Chain 2 Bottomless Trap Hole 2 Torrential Tribute 2 Solemn Warning 1 Solemn Judgment Genuinely quite proud of this deck. Apart from having a cool-ass name, some substantial testing has meant that this actually test decently against the better decks of the format. The reason for using Lightforce Sword is simply is that it trades my resources in order to disrupt the opponent's. The hand is pretty important, and so is the Graveyard, especially in this format of more than a few Inzektors. A card that can deprive the opponent of both resources is good in my books. An overlooked meta call card really. The last bit is nearly never relevant. Potentially disrupting a combo for 3 turns is good enough. Flame Tiger was an interesting thing to discover. Knowing its a Firedog target is good enough. But a Firedog target that abuses Xyzs, and also the banished zone with TGU. Flame Tiger is great with Lightforce Sword, basically as another route of action. While Lightforce helps prevent said threats, Flame Tiger gives you a minimal amount of field presence, that also works as good fodder for whatever you want to do. Not drawing a card? Pah. As long as you have a Metaion, which is actually pretty easy to do, your hand is pretty tricked out. If Metaion does get removed from the field and to the graveyard in some horrible accident, Hedgehog can recover it. Hedgehog is an interesting thing here. It does make Ancient Flamvell Deity which is never a bad thing, but also has that lovely little recovery ability that makes it excellent fodder for the Scrap Dragon cannon. Other stuff includes a playset of Fiendish Chain for more anti-metaness, and 2 BtH which does help a lot against Dragon matchups (although Lightforce should help a lot in the combo matchup). .Rai
WAIII. By the way, wins: 2-2 Inzektors 3-0 Hieratics 2-0 Rabbit 2-0 Bad decks Yay? Obviously with newest build. Old build had ew Dimensional Alchemist.
Tiger Tracks
This deck looks gimmicky. Not really sure if it's a bad gimmicky or a fun gimmicky but I'll test because it runs Flame Tiger. May I ask with a slightly more detailed play book. I'm not too familiar with some the cards and worry some of the more subtle card interactions and combos will escape me.
Firedog > Flame Tiger > Utopia > When Utopia dies, empty field for Metaion/Gorz/Revive Flame Tiger. Revive Flame Tiger + Firedog on field > Flamvell Magician > Magician + Flame Tiger = Stardust A lot of the deck is actually relying on Flame Tiger for field presence, which works really well. Imagine Flame Tiger as a pseudo-Tengu for this format basically. Lightforce Sword helps a lot against the Hieratic, Wind-Up and Inzektor matchup, while Flame Tiger deals with Rabbit and Hieratics really, really well. Kazooie
Honestly, I really like how this deck looks and really does look like it would have a good matchup against meta decks for the most part, but I'm kinda curious, why Fiendish Chain over Effect Veiler? :'O
This Account is Unplayable
Veiler should be here over Chain. It not only gives you that extra tuner, but doesn't leave your lines of defence down to a clear MST shot. Rai-Oh also doesn't seem like the best meta call, at least not more than 2, Inzektors will punish you heavy and Chaos Dragons have no trouble getting it off the field. It's only really good against Rabbit, Wind-Ups, Heroes and Dark Worlds, and the latter 3 are much more uncommon. In the place of the third, at least, you could run Book of Moon. If you opt to take more out you can run a 2nd BTH and a Compulsory if you were to take them all out.

And I have no clue how I missed Book of Moon. I did however: -3 Rai-Oh +1 Book of Moon +1 BtH +1 Veiler Tested against 1 Chaos Dragons, 1 Rabbit. Chaos Dragons: Won with a Fiendish Chain onto their BLS, and dropping Flamvell Deity for the win. Rabbit: Yay for Veiler.
