Xi-3
So the idea is that we submit cards that represent us and you determine who wins with a story on top of the usual judging criteria like Balance and OCG? Interesting concept. It would take some serious thought before I could enter something like this. If I was to pick a TCG card I would say "Chaos Command Magician" represents me. As to the original card, that takes more serious thought, as I said.
n8thegr8
So you kind of have the idea but you have to make up your own character. It can be like Chaos Command Magician, you can be a rainbow unicorn for all I care, but it has to be original. As the story goes on, you are going to make cards to help your character survive. Xi-3
I'm entering because I like the concept.
Raven tended to be aggressive around other children growing up because he was smaller than them. He lived near an old man who he found out used to be a court magician of some respect in his younger days. Raven buried himself in studying magic under this magician at the age of 12. When he was 17 his teacher died, so he started to learn exclusively from the old man's expansive library of books -- some about spells, others about potions, and all esoteric and obscure. Raven specializes in Fire Magic, and although he can use a practice wand or the old man's oak staff to help cast spells, he also has a gift for casting unaided while in a state of rage. He has taken to using the staff simply to hit things and buy the time he needs to cast spells. As Raven was nearing his eighteenth year the old man's small shack burned down, along with most of his books. All that remained were the three books, the staff, and a few coins which Raven had had on him before the fire struck. Raven is now forced to look elsewhere to continue his education in magic... The titles of the books Raven carries are: - Drawing Forth Earth's Energies - Talk Loud and Carry a Big Stick - The Paths of Light & Darkness, And How to Tell The Difference

And can you PLEASE explain the game to me?What do you mean we have to survive? Also, can I make my character a girl because there's this character that look like me as a female charatcer. And we both have the same skin tone, hair color, and same eyes color. We're both skinny..and I don't know any male that look like me.But the character that look like me is like immortal,so I can't die.So do I win?(not a vampire)
n8thegr8
@retro ninja Basically all of the characters will meet up in the story to fight some big evil. Along the way to defeat this big evil, there will be challenges where I will require each person to make a specific card. The loser of that round will "die" and if your immortal, I WILL FIND A WAY And use whoever you want

Xi-3
Does the character have to be like me? I didn't think so, but if I'm wrong I can fix the back story. This way he has a challenge to go on a journey, and also because he's not the most social of people. I do believe that education is a life-long pursuit. I also have social challenges that it would be inappropriate to get into -- so in a way Raven and I are alike. I'm just not a Fire Mage Apprentice who might have accidentally, maybe, burned down his own house. Or was it an accident because of all those old books and open flames by which to read? Or maybe an arsonist who didn't like crazy old men? That's something we can ind out in the story. I thought it'd be fun to give a magic book a humorous name. "talk loud" could relate to incanting in a clear voice. "carry a big stick" could relate to how well a mage's staff resonates with the environmental magicks. In this case, it's even somewhat ironic because Raven can cast without a spell medium if he has to (but he also needs to get angry first). The first book is about Earth Magicks, including alchemy. The last book is divided between Light Magicks and Dark Magicks. It allows the user to choose and focus on his or her own path. These are also hints at how Raven can change as he grows more powerful. And he will change.
n8thegr8
You are all set Xi-3 and your character is fine too. Your character DOES NOT have to be like you at all. Like I said feel free to be a rainbow unicorn. As for retroninja, all you have to do is donate 100 points (which you get by posting stuff) and create a character. If you want to use that girl just give me a bio-ish thing like Xi-3.

Xi-3
Can't be that many more posts to 100 points. I'm looking for a picture of a guy who looks like Raven, but is sporting a sword (just a plain old sword is fine). For some reason it made me think of Robb Stark, but he always looks too old or too young. Raven probably also shouldn't look like he comes from a highborn family, as he does not. Credit for the picture I used goes to the Marvel Comics team who did the adaptation of Magician: Apprentice by Raymond E. Feist.
Retroninja15
Ok,so now I have 99 point.Now if I just comment here..than I get 100 Point? Ok,I'll donate the 100 points to you. Ok,I did.I'm now in 0 points,so I need to win no matter what! Here's my card:
Kaguya Houraisan was once a princess of the Lunarians, a race of people living on the Moon. She was exiled to Earth over a thousand years ago for the crime of using the forbidden Hourai Elixir to make herself immortal. Arriving on Earth one day, she was found by a bamboo cutter and dwelt among the humans she had once despised. Though the Lunarians looked upon humans with contempt, Kaguya came to love her new home. Tales of her unearthly beauty led men from all across the land to seek her hand in marriage, Fujiwara no Mokou's father being one of them, but none could successfully complete her trial of the Five Impossible Requests. The first was to bring her the stone begging bowl of the Buddha from India. The second was to retrieve a jewelled branch from the island of Mount Hourai. The third was to seek the legendary robe of the fire-rat of China. The fourth was to retrieve a colored jewel from a dragon's neck. The final task was to find the legendary Cowry treasure of the swallows. These potent treasures were eventually revealed to already be in Kaguya's possession in the final stage of Imperishable Night. After years of exile, powerful emissaries arrived from the Moon; Kaguya had been forgiven of her crime and it had been decided that she should return. Kaguya, however, had grown to love life on Earth and had no desire to return to the lunar capital permanently. Enlisting the help of her friend Eirin, Kaguya escaped from the emissaries and fled to Gensokyo. Taking refuge in an ancient manor called Eientei hidden deep within a secluded bamboo forest, the two Lunarians began a new exile. After several centuries of isolation, she was eventually reunited with Mokou, who had also used the Hourai Elixir to become immortal, and the two continued their feud, murdering each other on a nearly daily basis. During the events of Imperishable Night, Kaguya had been hidden in a secret pathway along with the true moon by Eirin to ensure any Lunarians sent to recover Reisen would not discover her. The heroines of Imperishable Night, however, did discover her, and challenged her to return the full moon to Gensokyo. After being defeated, Kaguya unleashed her powers of eternity in an all-out bid to break the spell of the imperishable night cast by the heroines. Finally she relented and the true moon was recovered. She now spends her days living in Eientei in a carefree manner, sometimes holding exhibitions of Lunarian treasures there for the rest of Gensokyo to admire. Her long isolation has made her lonely, and she enjoys telling stories to any guests she might receive.
Xi-3
Surely you mean: "This card cannot be targeted or destroyed by your opponent's cards' effects. Once per turn reveal the top 5 cards in your Deck and Special Summon any monsters as their summoning requirements allow. Discard all of the remaining cards." In my opinion this is more like a Level 12's effect, not a Level 8. You seem to be adhering to Jack Rakan's motto: "Go Broken or go home." The backstory sounds like what I know of Touhou (and a good deal more, to be honest), so you're probably a fan. I'm fairly certain Raven and Kaguya will never meet or interact, unless n8thegr8 gives Kaguya a good reason to leave Eientei.

Xi-3
I now have "Raven LV6" and "Raven LV8" if you would like them. Should he survive longer than that, I was thinking of going with two versions for divergent stories: one would be Dark and the other Light (both being Fusion Monsters). Or maybe he could go between Dark and Light depending on his emotional state, only to achieve the peak of his power as a Grey Path Magic Swordsman. Assuming again he lives that long. But I would need pictures for them. I had an idea that he would get killed as a Dark Sorcerer, and be reborn as a dark version of himself as a child, but who needs the 'Avatar of Evil' stuff? He'll be a much better character to keep as a human anyway. EDIT: What do you think of adding a deadline to either start or close this contest to cover the possibility that we might not get any other contestants?
