Split Pain
Continuous Trap
When either player takes damage; inflict the same amount to the other player.

Burnt Draw
Continuous Spell
When you take 800 or more damage from a card effect; draw 1 card. If you draw 4 or more cards with this effect on 1 of your turns; negate this cards effect until your opponents standby phase.

Soothing Cards
Continuous Spell
When your life points are reduced by 1000 or more by a card effect; for every 1000 points (Rounded up) discard 1 card: Gain Life points equal to the number of cards discarded x 1000. If your life points would be reduced to 0 by battle or card effect; send cards from the top of your deck to the graveyard equal to the amount of damage x 400 (Rounded up); Reduce the damage to 0.

Split Pain can be used to stall indefinitely since your opponent cannot deal lethal Battle Damage without killing themselves.

Burnt Draw is a little too strong with Curse of Darkness. You take damage, but you also draw cards and the effect isn't symmetrical. So you can gain massive advantage and crush your opponent with low LP, but you will crush them nonetheless.

Soothing Cards has an interesting function. You can keep yourself alive by milling, which is awesome, but if you take damage from a card effect you have to discard. But since most Decks can't do burn damage, you can just mill for a while, and if you're running Gustos, oppress your opponent to death. Perhaps the cards should be banished instead of milled.

Change to only activating via card effect?

I'm not sure anybody would really go through the effort of doing that though. Plus the amount of damage taken was intended to counter chain burn, but I'm not sure how it would work out, honestly. Anything I can to to fix it?

That could work.

These 3 cards were intended to work in tandem with one another as well (Not really soothing cards, but sort of), inflicting 800+ damage with a card, Taking it yourself, and drawing a card.
