Gender: Male

Personality:
Makoto seems to be a calm warrior, not resorting to violence unless it was absolutely nescessary. His demeanor may say that he'd would rather kill you than talk things over, but its not the case. Makoto happens to be a kind-hearted person who would help his friends or allies with anything that they may need. When he gets into a mood, which happens to be when he is stumped in a situation, he starts to training with his katana which always calms him down. A few other things that help Makoto calm down and relax happen to watching the Cherry Blossoms bloom, which was a childhood memory he always remembers, as well as eating ramen noodles, his favorite food. When it comes down to protecting his friends or completing a mission he was given, Makoto becomes focused on it, ready to even lay his own life down for the cause. Though he rarely gets angry, it is often showed when someone reminds him of his failures...or of his family's failures.

Bio:
Makoto was actually born in Osaka, where he lived a peaceful life with his mother: Ai, and his father: Kiba. His father was a trained samurai who retired after Makoto was born, though he often trained his son in the ways of the samurai. The life Makoto had was pretty good, until his discovery of his Maryoku. When he turned 5, he was a pretty hyperactive child, who was literally running circles around his parents. This was the start of Makoto using his Maryoku and becoming faster than normal people. Then someone got a hold of his father and had him do something he never wanted to do.

That following year, after years of research, Kiba took Makoto to Tokyo and brought him to a friend, who just strapped Makoto down on a table. Kiba began taking syringes filled with Chi, injecting them into his son's body. The reasoning for this, was the Emperor's Admiral forced him to make a soldier for him, capable of using two types of Maryoku. After countless hours, and almost giving up hope, the proceedure finally finished, giving the young Makto two different Maryoku. Though when the Admiral tried to take Makoto, Kiba fled back to Osaka and dropped off the grid. But those following years haunted Kiba for the rest of the time he watched his son grow up. Makoto grew up to be a strong young man, becoming more like his father everyday. But the days like this, only lasted for so long.

3 months after he turned 18, coming home from hanging out with a few friends, Makoto found the house completely destroyed and burning. Rushing towards it, he saw his father murdered in cold blood, with his last words to his son being: "Y-Your mother...the Emperor's Admiral....he took her...prisoner. S-Save...h-". And with that, his death was complete. Since then Makoto has looked into every prison that he could, trying to find his mother...also hoping to see/meet the Admiral face to face...to end that man's life.

Maryoku:
1.) Speed - He stores up enough chi in his legs, hands, etc. And upon release of the chi, it will cause Makoto to become faster. With this, he'll be able to run faster, attack quicker, or dodge an attack quickly. However, the more Makoto uses this Maryoku, his chi will burn out quicker.

2.) Light - With his chi he can quickly make light blasts, flares, or a barrier that automatically comes forth by the use of his right hand. However, with Makoto's blade, he is able to channel his chi into it cause the light to bond with the blade for a short amount of time.

... I might need to redo my app then. Cause my guy is on the Emperor's side.

... I also might need to make a Rebel character, so I can actually partake in the Rebel's as well, and have the RP progress further, now that it's in a pause.
Name: Isoroku

Age: 57

Appearance:

Frame:[background=rgb(251, 253, 254)] Isoroku is a tall old man. He is 6"7. He is very very thin. He looks like he is dying from some illness. He has very pale skin. He has a long cut on his left arm that goes from the back of his wrist all the way up to his shoulder, but he keeps that hand and arm wrapped in bandages[/background]

Head:[background=rgb(251, 253, 254)] [/background][background=rgb(251, 253, 254)]As you can tell, Isoroku is an old man with long gray hair, but he always keep it wrapped up in a ponytail. There are actually a few streaks of black hair still in it. They really stand out. His face is just as thin as his body. His eyes are as blue as the sky in mid-day. He has small thin eyebrow that are hardly noticeable.[/background]

Clothing:[background=rgb(251, 253, 254)] He wears a typical male Kimono with a belt thingy that wraps fully around and hangs down past his backside. He wears regular thong sandals for everything. He also wears a regular samurai's sword on the left side of his waist.[/background]

Gender: Male

Personality: Isoroku seems like a calm old man, but he isn't. He seems relaxed almost all the time, but he goes haywire when a peasant that isn't working for him approaches him. If they do so, he becomes frantic and attacks them at will. He will only give jobs to female pesants. He cannot stand to be in the presence of a male (read the bio to know why).

Bio: Isoroku was born under the rule of Emperor Shouhei. At that time, there wasn't really much to fear. He took sword lessons and learned the way of the samurai from one of the housekeepers. He was a happy boy and actually loved helping out some of the peasants. Yes peasants. His family was wealthy and they lived a City named Taka. There are a bunch of really tall buildings in the main city. That is where it gets its name. His parents were strict. They didn't like him helping out the peasants that came through the city now and then. They were really prejudice. Isoroku didn't care what his parents thought and did as he pleased. Isoroku was 12 years old at the time when he wandered off into the forest just beyond his home. He met a man (a peasant of course) who he never saw before. Isoroku offered his help to the man, but the man said nothing. Before Isoroku could say something to the man again, the man put his hand over Isoroku's mouth and gripped him up. Isoroku tried to scream for help, but he was muffled with the man's hand. Even if the man didn't cover his mouth, no one would hear him scream. They were too deep into the forest. In a quick second the man tore off Isoroku's clothes and molested him. Not too long after the man fled and left Isoroku on the ground naked and unconscious. Isoroku woke up a few hours later to the sound of people calling his name. It was the peasants that worked in his home. They found him and tried to help him, but he refused and pushed them back. He fought them off for like a second until he passed out again from exhaustion. The peasants took the opportunity to pick him up and carry him home. The next day his parents questioned him on what happened. He shamefully told them with tears forming in his eyes. His father said he deserved it for trusting those dirty pigs (peasants... duh...). He gave his father an ugly but satisfying look. His mother didn't agree with what was just said, but she forbade Isoroku to go near peasants outside of the household. Not only did he obey her, he stayed away from the peasants that worked in his home. He told them he would do everything himself and that he didn't need one of those pig's help. This shocked the peasants that worked for him. He was always friendly they thought, but even they couldn't blame him. That was quite an experience. About a month later when everything died down a bit, it happened again. Isoroku's mother and father where out and he was left with the housekeepers (must I say it?). He was still a little bit ticked for being left alone with them. He was in his room practicing his calligraphy when one of the male housekeepers entered his room. He shouted for him to get out, but the same thing happened just like on that day. The housekeeper silenced him by putting his hand over his Isoroku's mouth and molested him. Isoroku couldn't believe what was happening. He tried to scream, but the housekeeper's grip was too tight over his mouth. You could hear his tear hit the floor before even a whimper could escape the grasp. While the man was still going at it, he told Isoroku that it was him in the forest last month. Not too long after the man fled the home and left Isoroku just like before passed out on the floor. When he woke up this time, his parents were standing above him while he lied in his bed. They were talking, but Isoroku didn't care enough to listen. He told them to get rid of all the male workers in the house. His mother was quick to do so, but his father told him no. He said just because one of the male workers defiled him, doesn't mean the rest will. And besides, there are some jobs here a woman, especially a peasant woman, cannot do. He told Isoroku to act like a man and deal with it. Isoroku gave his father the ugliest look possible. He then shouted at his father and asked has that ever happened to him. He told him he had no right to say the things he did because he hadn't experienced it. He shouted a few other things before his father struck him across the face. Without saying a word he left the room. His mother gave him a kiss on the forehead and left behind her husband. Terribly distraught, Isoroku just sat in his bed for the entire day without saying a word and not even moving a muscle. He sat there with a blank expression. By the time he was 17 his father abused him and his mother to the point where he couldn't take it. One night while his parents were sleeping, he took his favorite sword and stabbed his father in the neck. It was still quiet. It all happened too fast. He wiped his blade off on the bed sheets that hung over the bed and fled his home. Soon after he became a bandit. He terrorized villages and killed peasants for the hell of it. When he was only 50 and retired from the killing, his house was attacked by the neighboring Feudal Lord. They learned about Isoroku's doings and whereabouts and didn't want a man like that near their village. They attacked in the middle of the night. There were about a hundred soldiers that broke into his home. Isoroku actually managed to kill all of them with his sword. After the soldiers were dead, he went out and attacked the Feudal Lord who was outside waiting for the battle to die down. He took off his head with one clean cut. Right after he took of the Lord's head, a whit light appeared from no where and shot straight up Isoroku's arm. Thus leaving a long cut that started at the back of his wrist up to his shoulder. After it healed, the scar was terrible. He had to cover it with bandages. One day while Isoroku was taking a stroll through the forest, he was approached by Kouhei. Kouhei praised what Isoroku for his doings and offered him a spot on his council. Isoroku accepted and he became one of Kouhei's Councilmen.

Maryoku: N/A

Weaponry: A plain samurai's sword that he keeps on the left side of his waist.
The bio's a bit jumpy, but it's a great story. I'd advise that you use more comma's though.

I was planning on posting once the meeting of the rebellion had started, thus making him late(Which would end up a recurring theme), but it doesn't seem like the RP's gonna even get that far. Want me to post and make things a bit more exciting(Including drunkenness, attacking the spies by accident, breaking a wall in the local tavern and much more)?

Personally, I'd wish there would be more RPers on the Emperor's side, because if it's just me and Toot, it'll become dull with character interactions, while the other characters (the "Rebel scum") have a much easier and more effective time to develop relations with other characters.

Y'know?

It only seems like there are a few characters on the Emperor's side because they're meeting thing is starting a bit slow imo.

Yeah just out of curiosity is there any other post the the initial 4 of us that did some form of entrance. I assumed we were to wait for some kind of GM post about the meeting to build on but if we can write our own meeting and flow with that than maybe we can liven things up around this RP.

GM?
