Thar
I read the rules: those sided with Rouge don't have their powers cause the meteor fragments would give it to them. My character was supposed to be Rouge, but I guess I have to reconsider. But being a good character doesn't sound like my character's style, so could there be a 'chaotic neutral' field for him to be in, along with his agent? ---------------
Porter: Name: Burinn Èchope (BYUR-rin EY-showp) Age: 16 Gender: M Alignment: Rogue Personality: Burinn can be a bit... eccentric. He is one to mindlessly blurt out whats on his mind and not be able to realize what he said due to already being on the next topic. His speech and thoughts are sporadic, which doesn't help much in battle. He has a really innocent mentality for his age, not being able to recognize many serious issues quickly. He is, however, a really kindhearted guy with a good sense of justice, helping his allies whenever he can, whether they asked for it or not. On first impression, most people would think he's on a sugar rush. But no. That's just the way he is. Biography: I kind of want to keep this a secret. I will PM it to you when you see this. Appearance: Short but messy black hair, with a streak of cerulean at the front. Central heterochromic eyes, the inner iris being gold and becoming blue farther out. A-liitle-tanner-than-fair skin. Thinner-than-average build, but not remarkably so. Dark blue jeans. Black shirt. A dodger blue windbreaker jacket with black trims. The collar is lined with black downfeathers. Black and white sneakers. Power 1: Psyche Power 2: Shade Extra Information: Has Epilepsy (is being medicated). EDIT: Oshi. When did all of these posts happen. I think we should just wait for Smear to clarify things.
John A. But being a good character doesn't sound like my character's style, so could there be a 'chaotic neutral' field for him to be in, along with his agent?
Oh, that was really poorly explained in the plot (the plot made it seem as though the Frags would enhance rather than give in general). Regardless, I agree, my characters don't really fit a "good" archetype, hence why I'd like them to switch to rogue eventually, not so much for power since they already have it, but some form of revenge, if at all possible. If that conflicts with the predetermined plot, then so be it, I won't have them switch. I'd just think it would be smarter to not force every GOV-F character into a "good" archetype. Catterjune
It says that if you pick rogue, then you either have to not have an Agent (in which case your powers wouldn't even be unlocked, if I'm not mistaken ) or be teamed up with another YCMer.
.. Yeah, that makes sense. Porters have their powers activated when they find an Agent. So are we to take it that Rogue Porters with no agents have no powers? If they're waiting for the stone to give them power then... they're gonna be mere mortals for a majority of this, and not even a remotely viable threat, right? Not sure if teamining up with another YCM-er was what was implied. Honestly I'd prefer to choose the person I teamed with (or at least had veto power over it) as opposed to being assigned someone. tl;dr - Clarification please? Elƒie
^Solution. Patience. Anyways.. I don't think Porters and Agents have to be in a relationship.. Or opposite genders, ya know, assuming they're a single gender.
Smear
I'm kind of confused by the plot... Everyone is born with Elem, except for Agents. So then... not everyone is born with Elem? People with the strongest Elem get powers. But people with compatiable porters also get powers. You mention that Agents have a special ability called "Trigate" but don't elaborate on what it is, other then something that activates the Porter's powers. You also say an Agent's power is amplified, but his only power is to activate a Porter so... who cares? The Agent section mentions "support abilities", but doesn't really specify what it entails. Do you mean support specifically for their powers, like some kind of power that greatly increases the range of the Wildlife ability in case we're in the city with no real animals or trees around? Or did you mean a more generic kind of support like "Cure, Cura, Curaga", that sort of thing? It seems like a creative idea and I'd like to join (preferably as someone else's partner because I don't like RP-ing with myself) but... meh. Would like more clarification on Agents.
I started creating the plot without the idea of Agents, but Agents seemed to make things more interesting, so I added them later. I guess I forgot to edit that part. This again is part of the needing to edit. I'll touch up the plot a hell of a lot. Silly Kakashi and Kyng didn't notice my plotholes. :'P All "Trigate" is, is the ability to activate Porters powers. Kaka and I decided Agents to have supportive powers after the plot. That's another example of forgetting to edit. .-. With the support abilities, I guess I forgot that people can't see what I'm thinking. I'll edit the plot a lot more. Everyone with questions, even if you've already posted here, please PM me. It would help me a lot. :3 *will edit this post later, after plot is edited.

Big Bad Pennar
Name: Zeirnia "Skarcaiser" Viedkun Age: 21 Gender: Female Alignment: [acronym='...or at least that's how the GOV-F see her, She dislikes other Rogues and hunts them down to kill them, as well as hunting down the Meteor Frags']Rogue.[/acronym] Personality: Skarcaiser often prefers to be alone, Contemplating about what to do next. She often can't help but have a lot of fun, Especially with other people, She knows she's beautiful and she often toys with people using her beauty, only to lead them to their own disaster and death. There are only a few people that she'll even bother talking to, and those are the people that were able to punch her while in battle. She is a very adaptable person and will actually work with others if need be...
Skarcaiser was orphaned at the age of 4, Which gave her quite a few problems at first, but she had gotten used to it. During School, She was an odd little kid, Often studying her classroom endlessly to see what could go wrong and where. During the 5th grade, She discovered her Tempest Elem Abilities when a very unnatural wind escaped her hand, After her abilities were discovered, She was made fun of and had to drop out of school the next year, Which gave her time to control her powers. It was then She discovered that she actually had a second Elem in her body, but it acted strangely compared to others of that type. Normal Energy was freely Malleable, while this one was restrained inside the body, Acting as some sort of energy to use as certain abilities. When Giving her first new move a try after studying for a while, She succeeded, but all of her body had then Suffered from an incurable case of what she called 'Wind-bleached Albinism", A disorder that was caused by moving too fast, causing all of her skin, hair, and eyes to turn Snow White.... When she heard of the Meteor Fragments, She went to search for them with a few friends, but she had a run-in with the GOV-F, who mistook her for a Rogue and tried to capture her, but she escaped. Several days later, Her friends, whom identified themselves as Rogues, Then tried to chain her, but they had failed and were knocked out by Skarcaiser... To this very day, She searches for the Meteor Fragments and eventually wipe out the Rogues...
Appearance: Skarcaiser's Skin and Hair is as white as the ground that is freshly covered in Snow, and absolutely radiant. She has White Eyes as well, Which tells you that she's an Albino, She has a rather Shapely figure, Somewhat Large breasts (Which she sees as a curse while it's actually giving her more Drag wind to Play with). She wears a breathable Dress, Originally Scarlet, but bleached white by the winds while traveling at really high speeds. Her beauty is very charming, Made her quite famed among the Rogues and the GOV-F, and often leaves people awestruck for days on end, just by appearing in front of them. Power #1: [acronym='Her control of her Tempest abilities is actually so complex that She can Manipulate the Drag winds as she runs and cause her to move fast enough to outspeed most if not all bullets. If she's Manipulating Drag Winds using her tempest, She does not tire out, but other ways tire her out rather quickly']Tempest[/acronym] Power #2: [acronym='Although it Operates like Ki in an Martial Artist rather than being freely Malleable, It is also used as a Sensory extension to sense things around her, See Extra Information']Energy[/acronym] Extra Information: Skarcaiser had studied her strange mutation to her Energy abilities, and found out about how it works, using her 'ki', She's capable of Performing the following Techniques:
Essentially the ability to move a short distance instantly, The Drag Wind this causes allows her to combo into several techniques with her Tempest ability
Empty Air Multi-Shundou:]Essentially a Large Chain of Shundous in the air, She does not use this often as it tires her out easily by Ki Consumption...

Combo Shundou:]Her most feared move, Especially since she can combo into many attacks using this, but what makes this so dangerous is that it is essentially an Indefinite Shundou, Allowing her to travel to most places in mere seconds...
While in her Combo Shundou, She can travel in circles and quickly create a Whirlwind that gets more powerful the longer she goes in circles and the larger the Circle. She eventually has to slow down as she gets dizzy rather easily, She can destroy a twister by running in the opposite direction the twister is blowing in circles.

She Suddenly Stops and lets free all the drag wind she was manipulating, Creating a gale that could blow most people off their feet if she spent only seconds in her Shundou, This gets more powerful the longer she stays while using Shundou, Making this ability very dangerous, She has to use a lot of Ki to suddenly stop and tires her out severely. Sometimes, she fails completely and trips over something, making for a hilarious moment, but seriously injuring her, it's rare, but it happens...

While in her Combo Shundou, She can elect to use her ki and slow down to cause Clones with Substance to appear along her path, She goes slow enough to not be able to create a Whirlwind and it is harder to perform her Devil Gale while doing this, There is also a max of 10 Clones...

In other news... -She dislikes people making rude comments about her Albinism as she used to have color once -She likes teasing people with her beauty, She also likes being around other women -She carries a small, 1 foot, Steel Sword -She loves the number 6466 and has a weird version of the number embossed on the sheath of her short sword -I plan on giving her a Theme Song

Zoidberg
OK... now I can't decide whether I want my Porter to be a Shade/Psyche or a Shade/Virus.
I already have a Shade/Virus if that helps in any way. Also, I updated my app to fit the new standards. I believe everything should check out alright. Wait... I still see one plothole... What threat really is there to the rogues? I mean, yes, they want to find the Frags, but if that's to simply UNLOCK their powers, then they're not really much of a match for the GOV-F teams, right? Do they just have advanced technologies and weaponry or something? Otherwise they really don't seem like much of a current threat, and I'm assuming that there aren't an unlimited amount of Frags. The only thing I can think of is the possibility of there being those at the "head" of the rogues who have already unlocked their powers who WOULD pose a serious threat to any Porter/Agent combination. John A. Zoidberg

Name: Zeraf Horonigai Age: 32 Gender: Male Alignment: GOV-F Personality: Zeraf is very bitter and pessimistic about most situations. Despite that, however, he’s entirely devoted to Turquoise (though he doesn’t show it as often as she’d like him to). Around strangers, he’s very quiet, but if he knows someone well, he can be very talkative, especially regarding what he thinks about the hunt for the Frags (which is generally something along the lines of, “I appreciate the government’s desire to keep us safe and everything, but I feel as though they’re putting far too much effort into this.”). Bio: Zeraf was born to a normal family (his mother and father’s situation was similar to his own with Turquoise- they had small arguments, but they loved each other very much, and were entirely devoted to each other). He was once a very happy, outgoing child. When he was ten, however, his parents were slaughtered by a GOV-F Agent and Porter team who suspected them of being in league with rogues. From then on, he vowed to never aid GOV-F with the rogue vs. GOV-F conflict (which, of course, was a vow he broke). Zeraf stayed in the house where his parents were killed until he was eighteen, when he left his hometown to become a drifter. Along the way, he picked up many martial arts techniques such as kendo and jujitsu. When he was twenty-four, he met Turquoise and took her into his home, eventually learning that they were compatible and falling in love with her (further explained in her bio), and joining GOV-F to search for the Frags. Appearance: Zeraf has long jet-black hair, reaching down to about his mid-back. His eyes are a light blue color. He is generally seen with a blank expression on his face, due to the fact that the majority of the time, he is thinking about something. In stature, he’s very tall and thin, appearing to be almost skeletal. When he is with Turquoise, he is often either very angry, or smiling depending on how she is currently acting towards him (which, the majority of the time will be a playful-mock, to which he responds generally with apathy). Power #1: Shade. Power #2: Virus. Extra Information: Often carries a sword with him.

Name: Turquoise Chujitsuna Age: 21 Gender: Female Personality: Turquoise is not only kind, but very loyal as well. Generally speaking, she would do anything for the one she loves, sometimes getting even obsessive over them, and willing to protect them even if it means her own death. That is why she and Zeraf often argue: despite having minor differences and considerably frequent altercations, they look at their compatibility as an opportunity for love, rather than simple nature. However, she treats those that she doesn't care for very differently. Occasionally, she'll impose verbal harm upon another- even if she knows that they are more powerful than she- for simply trying to make simple conversation with Zeraf, as she is incredibly jealous, and acts solely on that jealousy. Those actions, however, come in waves. To most, she is a simple girl, very kind and easy to get along with in most situations. Most often, her protectiveness of Zeraf is in battle. If Zeraf is injured in battle, her support powers gain an incredible boost due to pure rage and willingness to slaughter a foe. Bio: When Turquoise was young (around the age of eleven), she fled her home. Before that, she was raised in an abusive household. Her mother and father fought daily, and more than once, it ended in the generic "dad goes to stay at a hotel for the night" scenario. When that happened, she would be forced to endure the rage left in her mother’s system, which was considerably more persistent than her father's. When Turquoise turned eleven, she decided that she'd be better off living on the run and possibly finding a foster home to live in. With that mindset, she left and never saw her parents again, living as a young homeless girl for the next two years. Over that time, she slowly became aware of her powers due to small quantities of darkness emitting from her fingers from time to time whenever she became angry. One day, a tall man with long, jet-black hair found her laying in the street, starving and dirtied. He then took her in and revealed himself as Zeraf. At the time, he was twenty-four. They spent the next few years together, getting to know each other more and more. Though his slightly bitter disposition and her optimistic, friendly disposition combated often, they managed to connect on a very deep level. When she turned eighteen, it was finally discovered that he was a Porter and she was an Agent (the concept of an Agent being something that she’d never been told of). After that, they immediately departed together under the will of the government to find the meteor fragments (though they didn’t particularly do it simply because the government asked; moreso because it seemed like an adventure and they were interested). Three years later, they are still hunting. Appearance: Turquoise, ironically, has snow-white hair. As for her figure, she is shorter and skinny. This is due to the fact that she never ate much during the first half of her life, so it didn’t take much food to satisfy her. She has pale skin and rosy-red cheeks. The majority of the time, she will be seen smiling, though if she is angry, it is also clearly able to be seen. She usually wears her hair down naturally, but if she knows that she will be going into battle, she will often tie her hair into a ponytail, as to not let it get in her face and break her concentration, lest her support for Zeraf be cut off. Support Abilities: Ability #1: Lifeguard Ability #2: Equalization Extra Information: N/A

Catterjune
I'm still having trouble conceptualizing the plot. So 89 years ago, fragments of a meteor rained down on earth. These fragments were apparently so potent that they continue to cause hiccups in the people's children and grandchildren later down the road. The meteor fragments caused Elem. Those with zero fragments = Agents. Those with few fragments = Normal People. Those with an unspecified number of fragments = Porters. I'm assuming that being infected by the meteor means the meteor fragments were really really small, like space dust or grains of sand or something. I'm also assuming that this coating of spacedust was wide spread enough that it covered most of the world, otherwise the line of "Most people are born with Elem" doesn't make sense. The only other possible explanation is that the meteorite pieces are very very big, and their power radiates outward like... well, like radiation. Those closest to the meteorite pieces are strongest and those furthest away are remarkably weak. But anyway that's besides the point. Okay so the Gov-F approved way of gaining powers is by using an Agent. And those that are hunting meteorite pieces are the enemy. But the meteorite came down 89 years ago. Why all the sudden intrigue in them now? And why is "Porter + Agent = Powers" considered good for the government while "Porter + Rock = Powers" considered a bad thing? Wouldn't government officials want the use of the fragments themselves? It could win a lot of wars and quell a lot of revolutions. As far as the rogues go, aren't they completely not-at-all a threat compared to the Porter + Agent combo? Rogue Porters need the rock just to get on even ground with a real Porter. And then when we add in the Agent it's a complete curb stomp. And if they have the meteor fragment on them that's amplifying their Elem, doesn't that mean it could also amplify the Elem for the real Porters and (possibly) their Agent? Plot just doesn't make sense, and you kind of admit you put little thought into Agents, and it shows.

My understanding is that all porters are blank slates and can only have their powers activated by either a rock (the rogues) or an agent (the GOV-F) one can't be stronger than the other its just that with an Agent you get some back-up. If anything two YCMers that decide to partner as rogues is pretty broken because you get both a rock and an agent. I will say that only real cause of confusion is that the meteor caused Elm. If the meteor crashed while there was still civilization then no way it goes unnoticed for 89 years there would have been studies because babies would be coming out the womb with super powers lol. However if the meteor did not cause Elm and it was a natural thing like air or something then Porters are basically Benders from Avatar that need help. Which makes sense because you can easily not come in contact with a meteor fragment for an odd amount of time and then be uproarious when you realize it brings out your super powers. That being said I still think there is potential and I want to be on the ground floor of something lol (Even though I realized Rogues are broken lol) Here is my app for GOV-F
Porter Name: Isaiah Christian Age: 47 Gender: Male Alignment: GOV-F Personality: Neb is a religious of governmental zealot that borders on insanity. He is calm and collected when not in combat so much so that he is even comfortable around children. However in times of battle his manic side appears as he wields two long sabers to mow down his enemies, however he still maintains enough composure to focus solely on his mission. He uses his abilities to in terms of boosting himself than launching projectiles at the enemy mainly because he relives everything as a crusade and feels that most people should die by the sword. Biography: Isaiah not surprisingly grew up in the church. As a devout protestant he devoted all of his time to defending the church and proselytizing to nearby townships. He did so with a smile on his face and humbly took the many rejections of those who would not attend his church. When he turned 30 he was honored to be the head bishop at his church. Unfortunately on that same day a rogue porter set fire to the church searching for a rumored fragment in typical anime fashion. Thus began Isaiah's mad drive into insanity. Not knowing of his own porter powers Isaiah was useless against the rogue so as he barely escaped and vowed revenge for all of Christendom. Isaiah spent the next ten years mastering swordsmanship and aiding out neighboring towns everywhere in his travels. His exploits caught the attention of the GOV-F so they approached him. Knowing the aim of the GOV-F and their talent to match Agents with Porters. Isaiah saw this as a sign from God and that the GOV-F were God's divine will on Earth and Isaiah vowed to follow them for the rest of his days the only problem is finding a an agent for Isaiah... Appearance:
http://i21.servimg.c...14/hellsi11.jpg
Power #1: Mineral Power #2: Overgrow Extra Information: Isaiah carries with him a pair of 3 foot long sabers, he can be seen often quoting scripture in battle. Agent Name: Sam Winters Age: 23 Gender: Male Personality: Sam is a businessmen who hates his current situation. He tends to try to analyze everyone he meets in hopes that he can find that one person who will liberate him from this annoying contract with the government. Sam takes on task methodically almost like a game of chess and as such no matter what the situation he tries to make everything as efficient as possible. Even in combat he believes that there are useless moves in every combat scenario so it is best to capitalize them. Sam can come across arrogant because he is constantly trying to tell people in ways they can better themselves. Biography: Sam was a very normal child nothing special in his story to be exact. He did well in school and was all set to go to college, but he thought it would be great if he was able to have a successful summer internship with the GOV-F. As he got accepted into his internship program he was a simple secretary. He did not have any real important duties or task, but that was fine with Sam because nothing mattered except getting done with this internship. One month into his internship everything seemed to be going smoothly unfortunate for him Sam ran into a very odd foot soldier who brandished two swords in on of the GOV-F's office buildings. Sam was initially scared because who wouldn't be with a big ominous sword wielding man approaching you. The big man walked passed Sam without even waving or saying high, but Sam was close enough to see that the man was angry and the man was looking for someone specific. Sam looked the other way and did not bother to ask questions (like how did someone with two swords make it through security) second later a fight broke out down the hall from his cubicle. The swordsman got into a fight with a porter unfortunately for the swordsman the porter had an agent with him so most of the swordsman's efforts were in vain. As a crowd gathered round to watch this throw down Sam was slightly upset at the two on one situation but he didn't know what he could do. Subconsciously Sam reached out his hand towards the swordsman and they started to resonate. Sam unleashed the power of trigate unwittingly and led the swordsman to victory. In an odd twist the swordsmen revealed to be Isaiah thought that this instance was another sign of God's divine will because Sam and Isaiah are both Biblical names. Unfortunate for Sam who simply wanted an internship for his resume he became stuck with the government as Isaiah's agent and partner. Sam does not blame Isaiah for this situation he blames the government for not letting it be some sort of side job. Appearance: Sam is of African American decent and has is lightly overweight. He tries to keep his hair cut and everything looking normal too help hide the fact that he has a belly. Tanner often wheres dressier clothes to remind himself that he wants to be a businessman at one point in his life without having to go on death defying mission with a religious psycho. Sam often wears speries instead of dress shoes because they are more comfortable in times of combat he likes to were kangals and fedoras because the give off the image of being cool. Support Ability #1: Equalization Support Ability #2: Allegiance Extra Information:

Sam loves sleep, it is the one time his body is at total rest and no one else is in control of his life. Having said that waking him up from sleep is the same as jabbing a rattlesnake with your bare fist. Your life would just be easier if you didn't do it.
Sam always wears a pair transition lenses glasses because he is legally blind without glasses.
Sam's favorite color is orange and tends to dress in earth tones.
Sam hates when people refer answer either or questions with yes or no
Sam always carries a small leathery man purse because stuffing your pockets with gadgets and stuff ruins the fabric in his slacks. Kakashi Hatake
I'm sorry why are we separating porters into the categories such as real or fake? My understanding is that all porters are blank slates and can only have their powers activated by either a rock (the rogues) or an agent (the GOV-F) one can't be stronger than the other its just that with an Agent you get some back-up. If anything two YCMers that decide to partner as rogues is pretty broken because you get both a rock and an agent.
If I am correct about this, Rogues cannot have an Agent. A Porter and an Agent can only work together if that Agent is the one to unlock the powers of the Porter, but in the Rogue's situation their powers are unlocked by a fragment so they cannot have an Agent. To make up for the GOV Porters having Agents, the Rogue Porters can use Frags to become more powerful.
