Once Toonami gets started back up and is going good, then we should bombard them with suggestions.
we should not bombard them everyone makes a fair and reasonable list 10 - 30 noting some are not owned by cn and unfortunately never will ps you should confirm with at least 5 others on each others list to reduce multiple copies on the list ps do research find some new anime find at least 3 new anime to put on your list do not put common choices like bleach / fma or stuff they allready showing

I'm no rocket scientist or executive, but wouldn't multiple suggestions for the same anime give it a better chance of being considered?

I can understand the pirating to some degree. Fairy Tail for example only has like 50 episodes available for official viewing so people are going to pirate the rest. Naruto isn't that excuable since, while it is a week, a week is hardly any time so, again, support the official martial. The one that bugs the hell out of me though is that people pirate something like One Piece that releases online HOURS after it airs in Japan. No, your being stupid and DIRECTLY refusing to support the people that are making it. Hell, the same can be said for those that don't watch the official backlogs for any anime.

Well, yeah, that would be what annoys me too. Especially when people try to use lame excuses like saying fansubs are better.

How in the hell does that even work? Sure, he might be called Zolo, but WHO cares. Your reading it so if you want to see Zoro, read it as Zoro. And hell, unlike fansubs the official stuff is more likely to be accurate since, you know, people get paid to do this. IE: The have incentive to not half ass it.
Dear lord people are dumb.

Anyway, tonight should be a good night. Lets just hope waking up at 8 won't make it hard for me to stay awake.

Actually, Funi's subs say Zoro. I just can't stand how broken the English is in some fansubs. You're exactly right, people at Funimation are actually paid to translate it. And don't get me started on all the words that remain untranslated for no reason.

OT: I really wish I had cable. :(

I can't wait for more Deadman and Casshern. I think Deadman will become a favorite of mine, I have a good feeling about it.

When that cart boy voiced by Aaron Dismuke got cut, my first thoughts were (jokingly), "Great, Aaron's been in an anime for 2 minutes and he's already dead. Will he ever get another major role?" XP

This opening night is real crap. It's just the same shows, plus Casshan (which can be watched on Funimation's Youtube channel along with tons of other anime) and that one I don't care about, with Toonami CGI scenes. Wow! My childhood has been revived with the same shows that come on every Saturday! This is like how TNA Wrestling changed their name to Impact Wrestling. It's still TNA Wrestling.

Apparently, they're trying to get Gundam Wing. Guess what? Bandai uploaded the ENTIRE series, along with 00, Zeta, and the original, which was also on Toonami in 2001-02, on Youtube. My point? In the age of convenient video sharing sites that companies use to give us Gundam, Voltron, and Robotech, all of which aired on the original Toonami, I think it's safe to quote the greatest shonen manga hero as I direct this message to the revived Toonami: "You're already dead".

Well, Deadman only has 12 eps. If you want to go into it your going to need to read the manga.
Deadman was... Disturbing, to say the least, but I like the power concept after reading up on it a bit. Cashern reminds me of Megaman for some reason.
Again, Deadman seems like an interesting show. Sucks I killed the plot twist by going to wikipedia, but w/e. But, as said, I'm not sure what I really think of it. ATM it doesn't seem to be the show for me.

O yea, I can see that. Hell, next episode he gets a pet robo dog.

The onle and only.

This isn't about the shows, its what the Toonami label represents. No one was expecting anything spectacular. Its about the nostalgia and bringing anime to a new generation.

Under this logic the television industry should have failed a while ago.

Also, fun fact, #CowboyBebop is trending world wide.

Yeah, I know DW ends partway through the manga. Is the anime different enough from the manga I'd have to start over or can I continue where the anime leaves off?
Not sure. From the ending I saw the anime having it should line up with the manga. Personally I just watch the anime fo rthe hell of it and just read the manga.
