Personally I find PewDiePie pretty annoying. But seeing the look on his face and the scream after a jump scare in his LP of SCP-087-b is worth listening to him.

I'll agree. I had one of my friends show me the PewDiePie videos but to be honest I couldn't stand hearing him; okay some things were funny like an occasional lines and him screaming. And Opal here is your Tour Guide pictures:

The thing about Pewdiepie is, while he's only an average commentator and kind of annoying, he has this charm that makes everyone adore the sh*t out of him.

I don't hold a grudge towards any commentators that are considered "overrated." In fact, I don't think there's a single commentator out there that I DON'T like.

I like 2mysteriousnuggets, he has a tendency towards stone-cold reactions in regards to horror games, and he made some HILARIOUS mods to SCP-087-b.

The charm is that he's swedish, and sounds like a little kid. Or possibly that he sounds like Kael'Thas from Azerothian Super Villains.

BUMP

I just recently had a duel with some of the people in my club at College and I can gladly say I still have it in me too win sometimes. In both Magic and Yu-Gi-Oh! I beat someone with my Black and Red decks in magic, but lost when he milled my Green/White deck away. In Yu-Gi-Oh I won all but two times out of possibly seven duels total. One time it was a two-on-one and they managed to get me down to 750 LP before I could take one out. The other time was when they somehow managed to kill my Plant Deck before I could stop them >>

The good ol' days when I got my first cards for my 12th birthday. Back when the game wasn't infested with Special Summon spamming and all that mattered was ATK, DEF, and LP.

It's a good thing I sold my YGO stuff, cause I can hardly find ANYONE that still plays with a GX gen deck.

I'm just about done with the game. Nobody to play with, haven't actually bothered to follow the game for a while, etc. If given the option I'd just sell most of my cards and be done with it. Maybe use that Rock Stun deck EZ made for me a while back if anybody really wants to duel me on DN but that's pretty much it.

Well I hadn't been collecting, trading nor even playing since the Earthbound Immortals. But when everyone at the gamers club began playing MTG I decided too see how many people knew how to play duel monsters . . . the answer was a surprising few. I'll never sell my cards because I've already learned my lesson when I sold all of them before and ended up getting back into the game >>

I actually bought the Legendary Series 3 as well to get the Seal of Oricalcos; I like how that it can not be destroyed once per turn. And to be honest I find DN completely cheap since you can use ANY card as long as it actually exists. I mean talk about a way to make any deck you want and beat people without actually putting in that much effort. Get the f*cking cards and met me somewhere and see how well the duel turns out >>

That's not cheap. Unless you mean you just don't have to waste all your money for all those specific cards to make the deck and therefore you're cheap. You can make the same deck as your opponent or one that beats theirs. You're not suddenly limited either.
That was actually the point I was trying to make. You have no limits on what you can use. There are literally no consequences for getting a good dueling deck. You have nothing too lose from it, while if you play irl you have to not only put in the time in finding the cards but money to buy them. Though again I always wanted duel monsters to be more limited than they already are. Like in the actual show. Only ONE Stardust Dragon . . . making it actually pretty f*cking valuable. Not only that but it'd make the tournaments a lot more interesting.

I prefer DN in a few ways, cause as far as I know, I know no one in RL that plays this game, so, even if I DID have a good deck I wouldn't have anyone to duel against, which would make owning the deck pointless. Plus, DN and the other online all cards available games let you try out many different combos, and in some cases, let you see how your designed deck tests before you make the commitment of getting the cards.

No it wasn't. My point was for it. You're against it. How could they be the same points then?
You have no limits on what you can use. There are literally no consequences for getting a good dueling deck.
You're ignoring that you won't be the only one with a god tier deck if you even manage to properly build one.
You have nothing too lose from it, while if you play irl you have to not only put in the time in finding the cards but money to buy them.
But why should we be wasting money only to test to see how we really like the cards? I mean, this reason is truely just silly. Really? Oh hey, if you don't like this card in real life then GO F*CK YOURSELF!
Though again I always wanted duel monsters to be more limited than they already are. Like in the actual show. Only ONE Stardust Dragon . . . making it actually pretty f*cking valuable. Not only that but it'd make the tournaments a lot more interesting.
How's this relevant?

Okay I'm not going to continue on with the conversation of Duel Network, for good or ill reasons I am certain it'll just become an argument and I'd rather avoid that.

On a new topic I actually got to LARP for the first time in my . . . wait . . . actually the second time in my life; the first one as at a party with NERF swords. We spent a few times building out swords out of Duct Tape, dried Bamboo and Fun Noodles for pools. Once it was all built and ready to go we went outside and decided to have one giant melee so everyone could get "a feel of the swords" and once it was over the rules were explained; I'll admit some of the rules I completely do not agree with but whatever. Then we went on and had a tournament.

Best four are now the group's 'Black Knights'. Which I am proud to say that I am one of the four Black Knights (^^)

I thought you would be ashamed....

I am proud of my nerd-wailing abilities with a foam sword (XD) I'mma LARP as a nerd who role-plays as a rogue mercenary . . . role-ception!

Yeah sure . . . whatever helps you sleep at night (XD)
I think if I were to ever actually LARP for the first time in years if we're counting just messing around with friends I'd dual wield swords. :I
Well I didn't want to duel wield swords because I hadn't gotten a feel for a lot of them and even when I had I couldn't pick out which two would've worked well together; in fact the first match I had an overly heavy one.

To be honest one of the rules, I agree on, is that "you cannot aim for your enemy's head on purpose." However I wasn't exactly aiming when, after getting one of my friends to the ground on one knee, I cracked him square in the head. And I don't mean this was some little smack or tap. I parried his sword away and went- CRACK! Like something you might see out of a movie or something . . .

I was worried I might've given him a concussion of something hitting him square on the head so hard. Luckily foam swords are surprisingly easy on the noggin' (Oo)

I'd play but I don't think anyone would be able to use a foam staff....not to mention I am seriously lacking in the body department

Okay you need to get me the information on how to make one . . . now! (OO) On another note one of the rules I dislike are that you couldn't thrown anything and also being hit in the back on the shoulder blades counted as "being decapitated". >>

No! Bad Desu implying anything bad about my body!

Yeah that head hit got me penalized from the match so I had to go out and wait for me to come back in and try again. I suppose my kendo training kind of gave me a bad habit of aiming for the f*cking head to ensure I get to kill the b*tch . . .

I guess the only thing you need to know is how to outline the sled with the pool noodles.

Basically, you need to cut a slit along the length of the noodle deep enough so that it goes into the hallow tunnel. After that, cut the noodles to the length of the round edge of the sled. Then insert the edge into the tunnel through the slit. This adds protection to the edges so that shield bashes are still lethal, just not harmful.

Then you just cover the whole thing in duct tape. After that, you can make the arm handle simply by putting 2 layers of duct tape on top of each other sticky-side-together and applying it to the inside before you cover it, because the covering will add extra hold to avoid slip-offs, which are a pain to fix.

Look at me talking about LARP weaponsmithing when it's been over 2 years since my last game. :/

Okay, I'm not gonna imply anything. I'm gonna state it outright.
Now, on to the foam sword thing: beam me over there. I wanna take a crack at this.

Donovyn if I could I'd gladly accept that offer and bring you all over to join in. And Thar I got to give you props, when people asked me how I learned to make my sword the way it was I said that "a friend of mine over the internet is a LARP weapon smith". Literally in the span of a few hours they had shattered the bamboo core of nearly every single sword we had created yesterday. Mine . . . mine was hit, hard enough you could hear the crack all throughout campus, against a pillar without breaking. Then the tip broke off and we had to mend it along with every other sword that was broken.

Mine is still the best used one and everyone wanted me to go get more wooden dowels to use as cores. Go figure the club leader said "no we're using bamboo". He even went on to say that the reason that the bamboo in the other swords had broken so easily was because "they weren't dried out enough". I have to say I like our club leader but now I have an urge to shatter every single f*cking bamboo-cored sword he makes with my dowel sword to prove my point; if that fails I'll upgrade to mother f*cking metal pipe cores if I have too! LOL
