YCLoveMaker Hotel: We Love You All to Death~!

Recommended Posts

Okay DF I've finished speaking with Fusion about wither or not my character had any "supernatural abilities". I'll concede to you that you were right about that . . . my character had no ability that could be classified as beyond human.

Though we did not display any "supernatural abilities", due to the physics of the DEF Universe, we could still push ourselves to seemingly inhuman feats of strength, speed, endurance and/or fighting prowess akin to what you'd see/read in "The World's Mightiest Disciple: Kenichi"; though in all fairness he did go to state anyone in the universe was capable of this if given enough training.

However, upon further discussion he explained that my character and Lora's status as "not being human" was left open for debate; he did not want to give a definite yes or no in 'Trio of DEF', however he does say in his one-shots I was not. So for each person it is up to them to decide if I am human in the original 'Trio of DEF' or not . . .

@Thar: I thank you for the e-mail, but man it has a lot of 'errors' in it (XD)

Oh? I thought DF was the one who had brought it up. But Creator to be honest I think your character became "non-human" at the end of the series . . . when you disappeared at the end of 'Trio of DEF'

You disappeared without a trace, so in my eyes you escaped the dimension and became a "Travel Key".

Jake, why are you telling Desu this? I'm the one who brought it up.
We've talked about this before and so have you with him. It was just brought up again last night.

Honestly, I don't even see how it's left open. If that's the case then, by the same standards, Creator can be 'non-human' too.
Again, Denver was probably just being nice by basically saying, "I don't really care if you want to consider Jake in the fic to not be human although he is."

Striker don't help. I seriously don't see why he is complaining about that last post.

That is what I actually thought had become of Creator's character in the story, since it was open to interpretation. Creator PMed me once about a small personal roleplay and had it where his character had been traveling through dimensions with Black. So I think that, in the story, that is what happened to him when he disappeared . . . though only when he PMed me did I cement it as what I thought exactly had happened, before I had also had the possibility that he went out into the world to explore it as a "normal man".

@Jake regarding the email: Yeah, sorry. When I C/P'd it I brought all the spoilers with me, which I spent forever getting rid of. Plus the format of the forum just f*cks it up during the transition from YCM to Word.

The whole story should be there, though, I hope. I haven't read it yet, so I wouldn't know.

Yeah everything is there and again I thank you. I finished fixing every error in there so now I can go back and search through it at my convenience (^^)b

In fact it has already proven useful since, when I was fixing things, I saw that the character Thomas King had made a movie called 'Fall of the Royal Family' and I needed to mention a movie during a certain part of the story. Before that I had just not named the movie . . . LOL

Thar, I'm actually re-plotting the part where you're introduced right now, so this was kind of an odd timing.

Slightly different character, but I guess that works.
I figured that, but to me it answers what happened to the 'Trio of DEF' version
Also I told you that I had slipped dimensions, tho I'm not a key anything.
It is a classification more than anything else. A title might be more accurate.

In fact Creator it fits kind of well with your character having started traveling the multiverse.
Out of all of the classifications of known "Keys" the 'Travel Key', obviously, is the one that travels the most. Most people who are 'Travel Keys' do not possess the inherit "spark" needed to transcend into certain types of Keys nor the power needed to become a 'House Key'. Because of this to become a 'Travel Key' one has to have had their consciousness transcend the normal boundaries of their home dimension, either by a near death experience, spiritual awakening or the like. With their consciousness having gone beyond the boundaries of their home dimension, 'Travel Keys' are capable of unlocking the doors to their home dimensions and entering the space between dimensions (commonly called Limbo) at will. However in order to enter another dimension which is not their place of origin, the 'Travel Key' must spend some time figuring out the "combination" to the dimensional door.

As 'Travel Key' has only become "beyond human" via mind, their bodies remain human and thus remain bound by it's needs. If a 'Travel Key' were to have their body completely destroyed or dies, their consciousness would remain in tact though without a form unable to interact with the general populace of the multiverse; those whom can astral plane or are psychic may be able to communicate with the disembodied 'Travel Key', thus they virtually become a ghost-like apparition. A 'Travel Key' who has died or lost their body cannot reform a new one at will and instead must find a "host" in which to implant their consciousness into. Despite being able to imprint themselves on anything with a thinking brain, because of having transcended and not originally inhabiting their new host, the 'Travel Key' will eventually kill it's host; naturally psychics and those more spiritually aware will last longer.

Because of having been consciously awakened 'Travel Keys' are identified by their intellect, ability to make friends, and honed abilities; though this is a generalization. Due to having the ability to open any doors, they are generally tasked with the job of bringing people who have stumbled into Limbo back to their respective dimensions or acting as liaisons to dimensions which have managed to contact each other

Some 'Travel Keys' have an assistant with them known as a 'Valet Key' that allows them easily preform their abilities and/or help open the door(s).

Yeah, I lost that list of Key ranks you gave me.

Anyway, doesn't really apply here. If anything he'd travel via Slipstream using a device to randomly jump between them. No real power or combination to decrypt or anything.

Not all dimension travel and shenanigans falls into your Key stuff.

After watching some One Piece eps, I gotta say, despite how handy Hancock's Devil Fruit Powers are; I have no clue WHO in their right minds would want to suffer the negative side effects of it, I honestly don't. And no, I am not refering to the general weaknesses of Devil Fruit Users.
