YCLoveMaker Hotel: We Love You All to Death~!

Recommended Posts

I'd like you to elaborate a bit more on that first point, Broken. For the second? Well no f*cking duh. That's actually what I'm saying. I find it silly that asking for modship is apparently the actual biggest reason to deny somebody from being a mod and not a lack of good credentials. I already know those people wouldn't make very good mods as who the f*ck is Clover and Jake is terrible with people but a willingness to take the position made clear isn't really a bad thing...unless you're Jake and admit to being power hungry.

I should have phrased my words better. It's not wanting the post that makes them a bad choice. It's wanting the post without being able to back it up with trust/fitting qualities that makes them come across as self-entitled and discourages us from actually taking them up.

That's basically the same in any job Desu. If you go into a workplace with no resume and demand a job, of course they'll turn you away. And you can't just go "Well I'm a nice guy" and expect to change their minds. Being a Mod ain't easy, and you need more than an upbeat attitude to do the job.

I feel like the continuation of this is my fault for not putting the last post between [sarcasm] and [/sarcasm] but then there would be an incredibly massive inconsistency in my argument that you two seemed to fail to actually notice and the same seems to go for my argument as a whole so I'll try and make this simply just for you guys. Somebody saying he/she is interested in modship isn't the worst thing. Sorta good actually. The person is interested. That's, believe it or not, good. Is it the best reason to hire somebody? God no. Where the hell did you guys get that from? I never said that or even dared to imply such a thing. I have said credentials are the most important and you guys do seem to agree already which means that Mug was simply wrong in his original statement that whether or not a person asks to be a mod is actually the most important factor and I only have to be disappointed in him now.

Dude I did notice the sarcasm tags. The problem is that you felt like making a retort when according to what you just said, my last post was exactly the point you were trying to make. So why respond? To not let me have the last word in the conversation?

I admitted to being wrong and corrected myself;

And unless there is something actually wrong with these criteria, I don't see why you'd give me a sarcastic retort.

Mods have to be decided on their merits and not on the fact that they 'think' they should be good for the role. If that happened then we'd have Striker & Jake for mods

Hey! I personally believe I'd make a very good Mod! But that's just me and, hey, I'm not going to say I'll suck at it.

All joking aside I know I'm not good with people and sometimes takes things too seriously, like DF said:

. . . Jake is terrible with people but a willingness to take the position made clear isn't really a bad thing . . . unless you're Jake and admit to being power hungry.

If I was a Mod I'd probably have to have someone making sure I didn't act an idiot or get on my nerves. But, then again, we've had Mods who use their status for personal vendettas to permanently ban people they don't like.

Jake just openly said he's power-hungry. If you'd promote that, who's to be disappointed here?

The "power hungry" thing? Seriously how does no one see that I'm joking with that? (X3)

All offense intended, but I honestly doubt that Clover guy or Jake would make very good mods.

Love you too Caeda~! Also, yeah you're still a member of the club as long as you have your name listed here.

What have you been up too? How's Black?

I don't get to talk to you guys anymore (TT_TT)

Omg, I just remembered. I ran a YCM Super Hotel once. It got archived because of my inactiveness.
I know it's archived, but I remember it for memory purposes:
http://forum.yugiohcardmaker.net/topic/172465-the-ycm-super-hotel-summer-is-coming/
Honestly, you should put that in this club's history.
Why don't you take a look Jake the Sage?
Jake, you were also in it. Look at the last page. :D
This got posted before the Ultra hotel got posted up.
I think I found my reason to help manage this hotel. It's because I was a part of it's history.

Yup. I helped it stay on it's feet, and then someone filled me in when I was out with the Ultra Hotel, and then this. So I say, it was the longest living hotel in YCM History, getting more and more popular with each remake. It would always attract mods and super mods to join since they always felt they needed to be in it.
(Oh yeah, and I saw Jake the Sage got "Where Vacation Is Just A Click Away." from the Ultra Hotel he made before that came from my older hotel.)

I know...we should have a tournament...dealing with children's trading ca-*shot*

Yeah that's been done WAAAAAAAAAAAAAY too many times. Riddle me this though, what other Christmas themed events has the hotel done? <- Since I was barely active here for those times.

How about a tournament with Christmas characters? Like one person can be Santa, one can be Frosty, one can be Rudolf, etc. Abilities, strengths, and weaknesses will be judged by someone trustworthy.

I'll admit I like that idea too. So Windows would you mind working on getting the Christmas themed character list ready?

Secondly, is anyone else having a problem with the forum? Like I can't post normally or go into my contact list for the threads. I can't even post a Status . . .

Alright. After my school. I can't think well in the morning.
