Lt. Colonel Remo
Jake, did you ever finish working on those chapters for DEF 2?
Thar
Hehe, setting fire to a snake. I normally wouldn't say animal cruelty doesn't bother me but... snakes are abominations and they should die in fires. Snakes are adorable. So are spiders. Mayflies, on the other hand... Mugendramon
Snakes are adorable. So are spiders. Mayflies, on the other hand... Have you ever been bitten by a snake? I assure you you want to see them burning soon after.
Thar
Have you ever been bitten by a snake? I assure you you want to see them burning soon after. I've never been bitten by a snake and nor do I intend to be, but that has nothing to do with how I feel towards them. Heck, as long as it's not venomous, if I was bitten by one, it wouldn't bother me. I've been attacked by a swarm of fire-ants a few times, which is about as bad as it gets. Seriously, after a week of burning pain followed by several weeks of itchy, swollen flesh as high as my knee, I think it's safe to say that ANYTHING else would be more tolerable. Well the one that bit me wasn't venomous but do I wish I had had a fire nearby. Sticking your foot on a fire ant nest is a bit unlucky if not clumsy on your end. Thar
Sticking your foot on a fire ant nest is a bit unlucky if not clumsy on your end. More unlucky than clumsy, cause I didn't even see it. It was hidden by tall grass, and it was on a hill. The clumsy part, though, was me slipping on some loose dirt. But again, I had no idea there was a nest there. Jake the Sage
Good. You are learning, young Sage. Well, under any other circumstances, I probably would have relocated the snake to a nearby deserted plot of land and let it go about its day, but watching it burn alive is almost as good. Well, as I said, we have dogs in our yard and after having my second dog die because of a snake bite . . . yeah I wasn't going to take any chances with my brother's chocolate lab being bitten. However I didn't actually see a corpse so I don't know if it managed to escape, as there was still some brush it could've been hiding in, or if it indeed did die in the flames. Either way, it's been a day since the fire and Doc, the dog outside, is still fine so I suppose it is dead. Jake, did you ever finish working on those chapters for DEF 2? *sighs* Remo I have chapters 0-3 completely finished and I am working on chapter four's completion. I've also done work on chapters 5-8 but I need to check through them to ensure nothing is out of place. Why is it taking me so long? Because I switched around the series of events a bit . . . to make it more interesting. Not to mention I had to change the play three f*cking times. BWUAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!! *falls over laughing* Thar if fire ants are the only thing you've been bitten by regardless if it was an entire colony or not, let me tell you . . . you've had it easy. I've been bitten by a raccoon, a dog, stung by bees, bitten by ants and wasps alike . . . Don't forget Uncle Mike was stung by a scorpion once That too . . . The Warden
Yeah, being bitten is cute and all, but, at least you guys can enjoy your beaches. We have various jellyfish here. Like Box Jellyfish. They can swim fast, like, 80 km/h, that's neat, it can detect colours, oh, and it's sting can kill you since it's a deadly toxin. Did I mention that without swift medical procedure it'll kill you in 20 minutes? And let's not forget a Jellyfish that you will survive, maybe, but whilst you're suffering its sting, you feel a sense of impending dread and doom. It makes you fear the worst. So, if you big girl's blouses ever feel like being masculine, come to Australia, where everything is trying to kill you.

Thar
Jake, I've been stung by bees and bitten by dogs. Raccoons, no. But have you ever been stung by a yellow jacket? That sh*t sucks, considering once ONE stings you, it attracts others to try and sting you. Broken, I'm sure everything we complain about pales in comparison to your continent, but you gotta cut us some slack; we're legitimate weaklings against the malice of nature. And I feel stupid forgetting he lives in the country where everything is trying to f*cking kill you, so of course he'd win this little debate about who has been in more dangerous situations with animals . . . Have you ever been stung by a yellow jacket? Yes, yes I have. The Warden
Most of us in the NT get used to nature due to our love of Reptile-based Parks. There's one in the capital Darwin, wanna know it's name? Crocodylus Park. Yep, a large park filled with Crocs, and my god, there's so many. Plus they have a reptile house to boot, at certain times you get to hold snakes. Big mothers too. And in Alice Springs there's the Desert Park, filled with so much lovely Australian wildlife. There's a Nocturnal House too. Filled with some nice critters, including Stick Insects half the length of your arm and as fat as your fingers. Come on they're not as bad as you think. You just have to avoid them and be careful going into the water . . . My cousin has actually attempted to catch one and I myself have gotten close to catching a wild crocodile, though it was a baby.
Jake the Sage
You know what I hate? Going to an appointment on time but they don't take you for like an hour after your scheduled appointment . . . [hr] Also, who has seen the new DC Animated Movie "Flashpoint Paradox"? Spirit of DMG
You must really hate going to appointments, then. Cause every one I've been to has pulled that. Nope, haven't seen it. Haven't heard of it for that matter...
Jake the Sage
You must really hate going to appointments, then. Cause every one I've been to has pulled that. Well . . . yeah . . . Nope, haven't seen it. Haven't heard of it for that matter... You should. It's so far one of the best DC Animated Movies I've seen in a while, since 'Under the Red Hood'. They even go so far as to make cameos of characters you know and like and end up killing some of them.
Spirit of DMG
Honestly, DC doesn't have a very good track record with superheroes. Marvel does it better, but that's just my opinion on the subject.
Jake the Sage
Well actually DC comics have had more interesting stories than Marvel has had, sometimes, though Marvel really has been doing more in recent years. For instance DC was the first to introduce the idea of a multiverse and in fact one of their most popular series was 'Crisis on Infinite Earths' which made Supergirl a household name when she sacrificed herself so that Superman wouldn't die. Also I've never seen people stop and actually hold funerals for any character like they had done when they made everyone thing Superman had died. I mean seriously, they actually had people write death threats to the Superman writers so they would revive the Man of Steel. Now movie wise yeah, Marvel has easily outdone DC, but hey . . . DC has Batman. I mean . . . come on! IT'S THE GOD D*MN BATMAN!!!
Spirit of DMG
While Batman is awesome on his own, in the Justice League stuff, he's just... Justice League does no justice to Batman... -.-; I just would like to point out that most Marvel characters, especially the heroes, have something DC doesn't: A major, glaring, irrefutable FLAW in their PERSONALITY. And, while we're on the subject, most Marvel heroes have a personality. Something I don't see a lot of in DC, save Batman. But, again, only when he's in Gotham doing his own thing. Still, though, Marvel doesn't do the whole "Flawless Hero" thing the way DC does it. Come on, Batman is really the only DC I can think of who's worth caring about. Still, though, Marvel doesn't do the whole "Flawless Hero" thing the way DC does it. Come on, Batman is really the only DC I can think of who's worth caring about. I'll agree with that because some of DC's characters don't seem to be motivated by anything or what not. Though to be honest Superman is getting out of touch with the readers again when they keep making him so powerful that nothing can hurt him. How am I supposed to worry about a guy who can literally survive being smashed between two planets? Easy, I can't. Though Batman's villains are also very interesting and you can feel bad for them, save the Joker who just does whatever the f*ck he wants. I think the Flash is also another guy who you can feel sorry for. In the newest movie that came out, "Flashpoint Paradox", it shows that he is fast enough that he can travel back and forth in time as long as someone else isn't using up too much of the Speed Force. That means he is potentially the most powerful character of DC, yet he can't do anything in the past because (as the movie pointed out) one small change can make the world fall into chaos. That is a heavy burden to carry knowing you can change the past but you ultimately can't. Also Green Lantern I feel sorry for because, at the current moment, the Guardians are trying to eliminate the Green Lantern Corps and replace them with mindless drones the Guardians control via telepathy. Jake the Sage
Wow it's dead in here...........like no one at all. Where is everyone? I think they're all getting ready for school or to go back to college is my guess.
The Warden
You know Striker, I find the Zazu incident fairly reminiscent of your own spiral into insanity. Right now he's at the War Torn phase of evolution. And, should he come back, he'll keep blaming Codex whilst being incredibly egotistical and arrogant. God, it's like watching your own life unfold before your eyes isn't it?
