Wow, turns out that's on Crunchyroll too. I've been very lucky finding recent suggestions by other people on there. Earlier today I found Steins;Gate, though it doesn't have any episodes but they said it'll be coming soon.

Upon retrospect, I realized that the episode where Hapshiel appeared was completely parodying Evangelion. I mean, Eitarou was totally being Gendo, and they were fighting an angel with a defensive barrier.

I'm amazed at the fact that this wasn't even a Gainax anime.

Actually I kind of noticed that too when I saw one of the guys striking Gendo's infamous pose. Beyond that I really didn't notice anything else that parodies it so you know more about the series than I do.

I saw Pacific Rim today and, though I was tricked into thinking it would have a preview for Godzilla 2014, it was a pretty good movie.

The visuals were top notch and every design made to not only look real but functional. You really got the feel those things work and with the camera angles they make you really do feel the size of the Jaegers and the Kaiju. I've been doubting Legendary Pictures being the ones to make the new Godzilla movie, but after watching this I'm confident they'll be able to at least make Godzilla look believable in CGI.

The plot on the other hand was kind of bland, being pretty predictable. But then again we really don't go to a monster movie for the plot, or at least we don't expect deep psychological development from out main cast, so it was alright. You had your introverted, yet still well renowned hero who is the best of the best but doesn't know why he is really there. You have the love interest, though they twist it a bit and make her the main hero's equal and partner. You got the disrespecting ass hole who has a change of heart and ends up sacrificing himself for the greater good.

You have the entire group and all, but the idea of the Kaiju being from another dimension and had been the cause behind the dinosaurs extinction was interesting. The way the mechas are piloted is also an interesting idea; adding on you can "mind meld" with the Kaiju as well only makes the technology significantly more interesting. It only makes me excited at the possibility of using that same technology to control the Kaiju instead of use it on a mech to kill them.

Yeah, that movie was dope.

Pretty much agree with you on everything you said, though I really hope it gets an Oscar for visual effects. I was so floored by the awesomeness, I kept muttering, "Awesome" during the fights.

EDIT: Also, if any of you are looking to kill some time this July and need to catch up on your anime.

I think they'd be able to get an Oscar for the visual effects. As for the fights yeah I was thinking how cool they were and when some of the creatures began actually formulating battle plans I was floored thinking, "Wow these things are not only cool but smart as well. Now I really want one."

Could you imagine utilizing the mind meld devices to control those Kaiju or other monsters from other movie titles?

It's rained so much here, half of my usual course is flooded.

Yeah I read about that.

You know after rewatching some of Case Closed I learned that the leader of the Black Organization has actually appeared already in the anime and that his actual business has his name in it. As well the artist originally thought that the manga wouldn't last three months . . .

So that means that only the first two or three manga were the only ones that he originally planned on having be published. Does this mean that the leader of the Black Organization was seen in those two-three manga or was he seen at a later date and the fact that he only thought the manga would last three months is a false starting point.

So now the question is, who can pinpoint the real identity of the Black Organization's Leader?

Ah, the f*cking rain.

If not for how hard it rained, it's been isolated as heck. One moment it's sunny and beautiful, then suddenly it's dark as night and it's like a monsoon.

It was the same way Friday morning: Woke up at 7:00 AM to go to class, but got rained out of a safe drive there, went back to sleep until noon, and it was STILL raining.

...and the frogs seem to be having a GRAND old time! :D

Yeah I can't go to sleep without hearing them croaking constantly outside my window. Had a few even sneak inside and, being the animal lover that I am, I would have to catch them and put them back outside.

You know, speaking of being an animal lover, I don't know how late this is (probably another slowpoke moment for me) but did you guys hear PeTA is at it again?

This time their target is Assassin's Creed: Black Flag

Why?

Whaling.

Touche. But still, i'm just waiting for Courage Wolf vs. Insanity Wolf and that got me excited for a moment.

They actually already have it up. I can't decide which one was better unlike Slenderman vs. Unwanted House Guest and Nyan Cat vs. Grumpy Cat.

Now my question is, where is everyone?

I could really go into Transformers talk with Broken right about now.

Broken is asleep.

You know this . . . how? (Oo.)

Starscream being incompetent was more funny this time, when everyone thinks he did a great job.

Laserbeak becoming remote-controlled is just amazing.

The most I remember is just the fact that they're having Rachet assist with making the synthetic energon. Which is the thing I wanted to speak with Broken about.

Well, that and the admitting that I was wrong about the Decepticons blowing up the base. I was complaining that they made it too easy when they blew the base up a second time but you find out Starscream never did blow up their base and just destroyed an empty hangar- which is what you are talking about.

Laserbeak is a part of Soundwave. What they remote controlled was his transponder, which was trying to get back to the Nemesis.

Well yeah, but now the question is how soon are they going to get to Nemesis and save Rachet? And is Rachet going to actually complete the synthetic energon formula, get saved so it can be used for the Autobots, or make a faulty version so it (perhaps literally) blows up in Megatron's face?

Also I take a peek at the toy section at Wal-Mart and saw that there is actually more Predacon toys coming out which, since the Preda King toy came out before he appeared in the show, leads me to believe that there is going to be more Predacons in future episodes. Interesting note too, the Predacon toy was also a dragon so it leads me to believe that all of the Predacons are dragons. I thought they might just be predators like Lions, Tigers, etc. or mythological based; dragons, centaurs, etc.
