YCLoveMaker Hotel: We Love You All to Death~!

Recommended Posts

I've been listening to Everybody for a few days now.

Don't even care, it's catchy =P

Same here (XD)

I'm well aware of Injustice Superman, I've been reading the comics and I beat the story mode for it. Kind of an interesting AU take on him.

Yeah it is even though some people complain about it actually being an AU story. Though if it actually happened in the original universe people would complain that they made Superman kill (>3>)

Almost like how everyone complained when they killed Spiderman in Ultimate . . . but then Marvel really f*cked up and decided to kill him in the original Marvel Universe too. Why Marvel!? Why!?

Okay Spiderman isn't technically dead, but Peter Parker did have his brain switched with a dying Doc Oc. Then Peter Parker managed to put his brain back in his original body with Doc Oc, who ended up basically erasing Peter's mind thus "killing him".

Not cool Marvel. Not cool.

I think Zombies are retarded and overused.

So I'm not gonna go see World War Z. Though I intend to watch and enjoy Monster University.

Okay not retarded but I can agree they're being overused. And I can't watch a movie that I can easily tell the plot too. I mean i saw the previews for Monster University and knew the plot twists and everything about it in the first place.

But I find it interesting the first Monsters Inc. was when we were still in High School and now Monsters University is out when the same generation is going too college.

Have you ever seen Shaun of the Dead? :<

I love that movie. Shaun of the Dead and Zombieland is the two zombie movies I love the most.

Cortez thinks shades'll be the next big thing for mythological creatures (half-joking); I'm thinking old-fashioned legends like the creature from the black lagoon or Nessie will be.

Nah I think zombies will stay around for a bit then go to aliens. Creature from the Black Lagoon and Nessie have never gotten enough recognition to get more than one movie. Actually Creature from the Black Lagoon hasn't even had a remake since the original now that I think about it- Nessie's never even gotten a movie.

I wouldn't blame them entirely; if you love a character for who they are for so long and then they go through a dramatic change "just because", it's understandable you'd be mad.

But that's what AU stories are for, to humor those ideas while maintaining the status quo.

Well, I was pretty upset about it too at first. But if you think about it, there's no way Peter isn't coming back.

I think they'll return things to normal when the Amazing Spider-Man 2 comes out, so when people see the movie and feel like checking out the comics, they won't be confused by seeing some guy named Otto in Peter's head.

Right now, I'm just trying to enjoy this character growth for Doc Ock and see what else will be shaken up over the course of Superior.

They did that on purpose, actually. The point of it was to show kids that your whole life stays with you as you grow up, including what you loved as a kid. And also to give them something to relate to, since most kids then are in or going to college now.

I should've thought of aliens, actually.

They'll probably make a hit comeback at some point, maybe with the new Star Wars.

Yeah but I like seeing a bit of deviation from the norm- besides Batman using guns in The Dark Knight Returns. THAT was stepping out of bounds for me.

I've read a couple AU comics, since my father is a fan of them, and they are quite entertaining.

True but to me that just makes it worse . . . like when they killed Batman. You KNOW Batman is going to come back, but how they made him come back was stupid. A time traveling bomb? Seriously? That was the best DC could think of?

*sighs*

Comics really do some serious asspulling when it comes to resurrecting characters.

Like the Wasp surviving Secret Invasion by actually shrinking into the Microverse and not just getting shot or whatever.

Or Johnny Storm being resurrected (somehow) and being used as a slave-gladiator until he escaped back into our dimension.

Or Captain America/Norman Osborn/Superman simply waking up after being dead a little while because they're just so super.

I still need to read TDKR. That's the one where Batman beats the sh*t out of Superman and I've been dying to read that.

It's actually very good, though Batman does use guns, which I disagree with. Batman's death is believable in that one because it doesn't trick Superman, for long.

Has anyone been watching Transformers Prime: Beast Hunters?

Naturally. Prime has been very good so far, and I was glad to see a very competant Starscream. As far as screamies go he's #2, since Armada's will pretty much be #1 until we get one that is highly loyal, efficient and a deadpan snarker to boot.

(Note, the #3 Starscram is the original, just for the merit of being the first one.)

I like that this Starscream is a lot more devious than the last. I mean I thought it was funny when he suggested that they let the Autobots destroy the Predacon clones instead of doing it themselves- add in he tried to off Shockwave at the same time with a good enough excuse it makes it just better.

Now I do have to say this . . . why do the producers feel the need to destroy the Autobots Base TWICE?

Let's see...

You find rats. You can't trace the nest. You spend 50 episodes kinda looking for it but not really while you try to kill the rats.

Finally you find it. You burn it to the ground like it's due.

Then the rats start showing up again! What is the logical course of action?

Trace the nest again and get rid of the damn thing. They wanted it to be believable.

Okay yeah but too convinient. They blew up the base for the season finale and now they just did it again. Though I will give them props for how they found it and for Soundwave's badassitude when he beat the sh*t out of Bulkhead and Smokescreen.

I will add that Knock-Out's voice is like liquid sex. Since every time I hear his voice, I am always reminded of Mercurymon.

That's because they're voiced by the same person- Darran Norris. And yes he does have a cool voice.

Through the use of Science, humans are able to cross wormholes into another universe inhabited by a race called the Scaarians, which are a green-skinned people that have a society that's very tied to a relationship between agriculture and social interaction. A society ruled by the marketplace, they are a somewhat peaceful gem race compared to much of their world. This world is mostly desert, which is inhabited by destructive creatures that would quickly eat you alive. The humans set up outposts at first to trade with the people, then a civilization slowly forms. The destruction of the Earth through unknown means closes the portal between Earth and the planet, and the humans slowly go mad. This madness ends with a revolution that crushes all ideals of democracy and a dictatorship of the final humans forms, which is very hostile to the Scaarians.

And we go from there.
