Sadly the story hasn't gone anywhere recently. Thanks. I'll get to reading it when I have the time. So now I have AnoHana to finish and now this . . . along with "A Certain Scientific Railgun"
Kazooie
I know she's not worth the time, but her personality. See, the most satisfying kill is not someone's life, but their confidence, their pride and dignity. It is much more satisfying to put those 6 feet under than any meaningless character's life. Er, I guess I shoulda said below most people, not just not worth their time. Because really, even if she DOES lose instead of godmodding her way out, she might just act like old!Striker and gloat about how awesome and amazing she is anyway. Jake the Sage
Well Caeda from her profile it seems that she has the power to "make her powers more effective". Basically if her sword can't cut you she can change it so it will . . . But enough about that! Has anybody seen 'Man of Steel' yet or 'This is the End'? Mugendramon
I read some reviews stating that Man of Steel was kind of average/mediocre. I myself don't think Superman's too easy to adapt for the big screen: This is the fourth attempt or so.
The Warden
No, and no. And I most likely won't either.

Basically if her sword can't cut you she can change it so it will . . . But enough about that! Has anybody seen 'Man of Steel' yet or 'This is the End'? Funnily enough, I saw both movies in a row. This is the End was absolutely hilarious if you're a fan of stupid movies. Great one-liners and the best crude humor since Step Brothers. Man of Steel was a pretty great movie. Superman finally got the movie he deserved.
Jake the Sage
I myself don't think Superman's too easy to adapt for the big screen: This is the fourth attempt or so. Actually it's his fifth attempt. Superman 1-4 was with Christopher Reeves, then we got that horrible reboot where Superman was supposed to have a son, and now this one. Speaking of the son does he return in this new movie? Funnily enough, I saw both movies in a row. This is the End was absolutely hilarious if you're a fan of stupid movies. Great one-liners and the best crude humor since Step Brothers. Man of Steel was a pretty great movie. Superman finally got the movie he deserved. Okay because I had been given different reviews about it. Some say it was good while others keep saying it was bad or just not as entertaining as they thought it was. Guess for me with some low expectations I'll be able to enjoy both movies.

The Warden
Wait, This is the End. Is it stupid funny, or stupid awesome? Oh wait, crude humour, so stupid funny. Hmm, well, I enjoyed Movie 43, I might check the movie out.

Hmm, well, I enjoyed Movie 43, I might check the movie out. Kinda both, to be honest. Mostly the former, but there's some of the latter sprinkled here and there. Especially the end. hehe Movie 43 didn't hit it with me. Though I kind of went in there thinking it was going to be one of the worst movies ever like everyone said it was, so I might have been biased. The Warden
I was perfectly aware that the movie would be dumb as balls, thing is, I like stupid stuff. I find it entertaining in a strange way. I mean, he had testicles on his neck, that's majorly funny.
Spirit of DMG
Honestly, Superman stopped being anything of an idol when I was about ten. That's when I saw Wolverine. At that point I realized that Superman... doesn't have a personality. I mean, he's invulnerable to everything, he's got 98% of every power you can imagine, and his only weakness is the most common thing in the world. (Okay, Kryptonite is supposedly a "Very rare" thing. Thing is, though, how does every villain acquire it if it's that rare?) For what it is, the Superman movies I have seen are half decent. Man of Steel is not among them at this point, however. So far, my favorite Superman movie was Doomsday. Mainly because it gives you some idea of what Superman would be like if he actually had a character flaw. Or a personality in general. The Warden
Superman is also weak to magic, jus saiyin.

I find it entertaining in a strange way. I mean, he had testicles on his neck, that's majorly funny. Oh so do I, stupidity's like my favorite sub-genre. The main thing I didn't like with that movie was that it stretched the jokes too long and thin for me. Like if they shortened the testicle-neck date or if they made more black jokes during the pre-game meeting besides them having big dicks, then I might have had a different opinion. I've started reading some Superman stuff, I wouldn't say he doesn't have a personality, but everything else is pretty much accounted for. I think Superman Unchained might bring a refreshing take on him though, it's a new series by Scott Snyder, who's been writing New 52 Batman and he is a superb writer. Jake the Sage
Kinda both, to be honest. Mostly the former, but there's some of the latter sprinkled here and there. Especially the end. hehe I thought that was funny. Yes I know the ending despite not having gone to see the movie yet- I blame Youtube for that (>3>) It's actually a guilty pleasure, at least it was, to say I enjoyed listening to some Backstreet Boys when they were new and still putting out records. Now with God awe full singers like Justin Beiber and Lady Gaga I can say Backstreet Boys aren't as bad as them . . . at least none of their songs are autotuned (to my knowledge). Honestly, Superman stopped being anything of an idol when I was about ten. That's when I saw Wolverine. At that point I realized that Superman... doesn't have a personality. If you want to see Superman go nuts I suggest playing or watching this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xyy_nge5VTg Actually in the DC Comics they've made it so that Kryptonite (which happens to be my favorite song) is so extremely rare that barely ANYONE has it now. So in the past everyone had it now no one can get it- so why even have it in the first place? Let's not forget there was different colors of Kryptonite in the past as well. And that Superman even once lost his susceptibility to Kryptonite for a bit. For what it is, the Superman movies I have seen are half decent. Man of Steel is not among them at this point, however. So far, my favorite Superman movie was Doomsday. Mainly because it gives you some idea of what Superman would be like if he actually had a character flaw. Or a personality in general. I think my personal favorite of the DC Movies, that involves Superman, has to be "Superman Vs. The Elite"

Thar
Remind me what we're supposed to be celebrating on July the 4th? Nothing comes to mind. Fusion X. Denver
I've been listening to Everybody for a few days now. Don't even care, it's catchy =P And I'm well aware of Injustice Superman, I've been reading the comics and I beat the story mode for it. Kind of an interesting AU take on him. Remind me what we're supposed to be celebrating on July the 4th? Nothing comes to mind. Though I did go see World War Z today. It was meh. Ha! I also saw WWZ today, though I thought it was actually okay.
how OPed those zombies were, seriously. Fusion X. Denver
have you ever seen Shaun of the Dead? :< If not you should, it's one of the few Zombie movies I've actually enjoyed. I have not, but the summary for it on IMDB has convinced me that I need to get on that pronto. I think Zombies are retarded and overused. So I'm not gonna go see World War Z. Though I intend to watch and enjoy Monster University. First it was vampires, now it's zombies. Cortez thinks shades'll be the next big thing for mythological creatures (half-joking); I'm thinking old-fashioned legends like the creature from the black lagoon or Nessie will be.
