Let me put it this way, I remember a good many things for various reasons, which are mostly as follow: They were funny/amusing, it's something that might pop up in future conversations, or it's something I can use against a particular person later. You are usually in the final category, since I save most things you say in preparation for derisive comments later.

Which I did say my commenting how it's a project that's taken just as long, if not longer than Trio of DEF II, since this project has been in progress for, how long now? 3, maybe 4 years?

Well that answers that.

Mmm, more or less. Trio of DEF II has taken longer than I thought, but not as long as SoP II. The chief reason why it's taken so long is, well, I stopped role playing and decided to stop working on the role play too. So technically it hasn't taken this long to make it but I haven't wanted too for this long.

Though since I am role playing again here I decided to add it to my list of things to do.

Actually Broken's above comment just reminded me. I read . . . okay skimmed through his review of your and Creator' fiction story, chapters 11 and 12.

Why was the Hotel so easily broken into? (XD)

I wanna hear it from you two personally.

. . . . things might get backtracked quite significantly . . . .

Well I have other things to do, I did plan on writing more today but I instead spent it doing yard work.

Dad surprisingly likes mowing the lawn.

It's easy, fun (for some reason) and gives me time to think . . .

Hotel was so easily broken into because your staff is underpaid and generally useless.

Since you know, nobody pays for their stay here and all.

Yeah I actually liked that joke. No one does pay to stay here . . . monetarily that it.

And what's this Struggle of Powers again?

It was an old role play I had that was finished, but I always planned on making a second part too since we ended on a cliff hanger. Got out of role playing so I stopped working on it.

I knew it was a finished RP. I want to know what it was about, since that's what got you a name around the RP section, right?

Oh sorry misread your post (^^);

Well Struggle of Powers is pretty much a post apocalyptic super hero role play.

It started with a few unique individuals. A girl who could walk through walls, a man who caught on fire and didn't burn, the person who could breath underwater and the many others.

In a couple years all the counties of the world have made these people, or "Supers", into unbelievable weapons of mass destruction. World Wars are widespread and the world is on the brink of total obliteration. Now a few contries have used their Supers to drag people with superhuman abilities from other dimensions to help tip the balance of power in the war.

You are a "Super" who has been dragged to this war torn dimension to fight.

Survive or die, those are your choices. But For Which Contry will you fight for?

That was the original opening for Struggle of Powers

You actually kept that?

I still have the topic archived Lora.

Sorry Dad let me repeat....you kept that?

(=_=) I'm not going to admit being a kleptomaniac Lora

But you are....

Okay Mugen well, as I said that was the original idea. I let people decide what they were going to do and I still plan on it for the second part- since that is what made it popular in the first place.

But the situation is going to be changed up. There isn't any "being brought from another dimension" anymore, you're just in a world that has been ravaged a a war with people possessing super powers.

The new plot is basically going to pick up from where the last role play left off. The Northern Territory has lost it's leader, but his great great granddaughter is now in charge, and the South now has a new leader- both are currently working together to rebuild and reform a standing army.

Then we'll go from there.

You can be a normal human or someone with super powers, an android or even alien. I don't really mind as long as it fits well enough into the story.

And looking at the thread, it lasted over two years and it has been two years since it ended this past April. Also I don't know if SoP is what got me a name in the RP section or not . . . though I hope it's just that I'm a good role player (^^)

That sounds like a cacophonous free for all with everybody doing their own shit. Powers all over the grid too probably, that intro just puts things really vaguely. Do you feel there's a specific reason why people were drawn to participate?

Probably because of the amount of freedom I gave them. We had specific outcomes that I needed done but other than that It was free to chose how you wanted to do it.

An example would be, in the original, we had to get into the Southern Territory and cause a distraction so someone else could set up bombs. That was the goal, but I let everyone choose how they did it.

We ended up sneaking in as slaves, as supers are treated as such in the Southern Territories, and then we rebelled to cause the distraction.

As or the powers we actually had them relatively well done. I had the list, which I had lost thus why I am doing it again, with powers:
That you could NOT own

Powers that had some restrictions on (i.e. needed a major weakness or only so many people could have them)
Powers with no restrictions and no limit to the number of people who could have said power(s)

It was actually fun to see how people would combine powers and use them for their own gain. Tempest Dahlia, an old role player who doesn't come here anymore, actually used his character's powers and personality to end up becoming the Leader of the South after the war.

So if you think a character can't "go places" then that says otherwise.

Um well...at this point...your Hotel wasn't precisely up to par with how it will be now? *looks for Creator to help back up....soon*

The clam?

*Opens the Manga that happens to be Katekyo Hitman Reborn, plus pulling up a translator*

Vongola in Italian means Clam. I own the Vongola HQ here on YCM. Creator suggested clam, with the Vongola thing.

Excuse me for thinking that it seemed pretty interesting as a calling card. I mean, people leave a Joker card, a Rose, etc. But if someone leaves a clam, it makes it strange? Kinda sorry, but isn't that the point of most of the criminal's calling cards?

^^^Sorry about that, sorta went into a rant and didn't mean it^^^

Sonic, you would fit right in with the British.

So SoP was a freedom-based RP? I remember Akatsuki's: the Hidden Base. Had no plot and everyone was kinda doing their own thing, which made a huge mess of things. But it was still fun picking fights and screwing around in character. You could even do things on your own for character development or have your own training arc.

But it was also a major amateur operation, so someone running one would need to do a good job in reining everyone in with reasonable limits.

Vongola doesn't seem very clammy...but who am I to judge.

Well I know it doesn't, but that's how the writer had it. Plus, if you remember in the future arc, they had a song (or possibly poem), dealing with the trinisette.

-The Rainbow (Arcobaleno)

-The Sea (Mare)

-The Clam (Vongola)

Well, it's just that, the clam is a stupid calling card. The Joker was a calling card because he was the freaking Joker.

See, the clam is synonymous with vaginas, and in some cases, virgin ones. Due to being clamped shut like the legs of a nun. When you think about it, leaving a shut clam around as your calling card creates some very mixed messages.

O_O um...I needed that painting in my head.....NOT!!! ;~; *grabs brain bleach*

I actually didn't know that Broken. I assumed most people would put the connection of Vongola and the clam together.

If it makes you feel any better Sonic, clams make me think of Family Guy before vaginas.

...

The Internet: Where you find yourself saying things you never thought you would say.

crappy anime.

Hey now, Reborn's not crappy.

...well, the beginning's pretty slow.

And the ending's rushed and unsatisfying.

But the middle's great.

So Reborn's like an oreo that way.

I'd link the episode for those who don't know what I'm talking about, but I can't do that on a phone.

Just for reference, the clam was HIS idea. In fact, most of the heist stuff is his idea just like most of the case is mine.

For future reference by the way Broken, the heist and case always happen at the same time, hence why some parts merge. One isn't meant to be read before the other like in most books, you can read one, or both sections in any order you choose. You can completely ignore Spectre Scourge and his "Vongola" and focus on the Detective or vice versa.

Honestly, we're doing more out of boredom than anything.

In hindsight though, I should've avoided letting him use the clam...too late now though.
