I hate to sound like a broken record and all, but Super Smash Flash has him and outside of having the most difficult Smash you can do he is a solid fighter- though his B move is more annoying than Meta Knights ever was.

 

And why Lucario replaced with Mewtwo? I'd keep them both ^^

 

That wouldn't do since they both have, almost, the exact same move set with the only difference being that Lucario does more damage the more he is damaged. I know we face the same thing with Falco, Ganondorf, Toon Link and what not but I for one can't stand the idea of yet another duo who share almost the same identical move set.

I'm also a little apprehensive of including the Villager and Wii Fit Trainer into the battle. I can kind of understand the Villager, since Animal Crossing is a huge success for Nintendo, but why the hell are they including the Wii Fit Trainer?

No actually, I love the series. I just don't play it much.

 

And because it adds diversity. A joke character doesn't have to be bad, it can be something that doesn't take itself too seriously, like Villager or Wii Fit Trainer.

That makes sense, though I heard people talking that the "character customization" could be your actual Mii and that you could have them fight in Smash Brothers. That would actually be a good idea to me.

I think it's a decent idea. While I think joke characters are good, I think that Mii might push it too far. As long as they aren't stupid when designing him it could work.

 

His attacks are all combo-based for the most part, and when you add someone like that you end up with someone like Meta Knight, aka Tier S. It doesn't translate well into Smash Bros.

We are in agreement. Olimar is exceptionally fun to play as when you are going against people in Brawl + since it increases everything to an insane level. Everyone in my gamers club in college was playing their main or secondary character . . . I just trolled along with Olimar and Pikachu.

ROB and Olimar are probably boarder line DL content to me, but I've seen them used enough that they could remain mainstream. As for Ike, he would just be swapped out for Chrom since Chrom is the newest Fire Emblem guy and everyone would know who he is. I didn't mean get rid of Ike, but yeah DL him.

One way I can think of to have both Lucario and MewTwo, while solving the "Identical moveset" problem: Give one or the other a different moveset. I've seen Every instance of MewTwo in Pokemon, and I've seen that movie involving Lucario (the name of which escapes me) and I noticed something. In the canon, their movesets look nothing alike! MewTwo uses Barrier, Psychic, that little ball thing he used fighting Mew (Which I guess could be Aura Sphere) but that'd be about the only move I saw MewTwo ever use that he shares in common with Lucario. [/rant]

 

Anyway. I'm a bit ashamed to say that I've only ever played Smash Brothers one time. It was fun, but I haven't played it since, due to the fact that I've never been able to find it and afford it at the same time. ;.;

Well too late now. With the new one coming out next year you might as well just save up for the new Wii U or 3DS version.

 

I actually don't like the fact that the two systems can't communicate together and play together. Meaning you need two 3DS or Wii Us to do multiplayer. However Nintendo was kind enough to allow people to carry over their customizable characters from system to system.

I haven't seen that one yet but I swear to GOD I am going to alongside Man of Steel. It looks interesting, puzzling, and to top it off it has magic tricks in it. Hell to be honest the fact it has magic tricks in it is enough to make me want to see it anyways.
