Colonel Remo Posted June 13, 2013 Report Share Posted June 13, 2013 As much as liked the Z-fighters, Luffy's crew definitely got much more emotion and support out of me I thoroughly wanted to see Luffy win, even though I was fully aware that SS1 Goten should been more than enough to defeat him I mean, they had a "no flying" specifically to give the OP and Toriko characters half a chance at the race (I guess only Sanji would have been able to compete, plus he kinda looks like a Super Saiya-jin so.....) Because that's what I thought pokemon needed.Then again, I've kind of stopped caring about Pokemon, sure I'll get the next one, but I don't know, I haven't been enjoying the new ones.... And like DMG I hope that there will be more old Pokemon than new original Pokemon because of the same reasons. Also since we have a new type what are the chances that there are going to be more new types coming? And what is the X & Y Legendary Pokemon supposed to be guardians over? I mean after Arceus, the God Pokemon, what else can you do? You have space, time, balance, guardian of the forest, the wish maker, the first Pokemon, protector of dreams, guardian of land, guardian of the sea, etc. etc. I saw "Star Trek: Into the Darkness" yesterday with my Dad for Father's Day, we celebrated it early since we don't see each other that often, and I have to say despite not knowing a lot about the series it was enjoyable to watch. I would have preferred seeing 'The End' but hey it was his choice. I don't really like the new fairy type. Mainly because, how the fuck can a fairy kill a dragon? IT JUST DOESN'T MAKE SENSE. I don't see why it should make sense, nor do I see what the point of a trump Pokemon is. They did the whole trump thing with the first 3 gens: Gen 1: Blastoise (blue) beats Charizard (Red) Gen 2: Lugia (Silver) beats Ho-oh (Gold) Gen 3: Kyogre (Sapphire) beats Groudon (Ruby) Gen 4 is where balance starts to begin, cause both Dialga and Palkia are Dragon-type, but Dialga is Steel-type, which Psychic isn't very effective against. So stat-wise, Dialga's superior, but then there's the signature moves: Dialga's "Roar of Time" packs a helluva punch, but it requires time to recharge and, against another legendary such as Palkia, the opponent can deal two blows that add up to a bigger magnitude, for which case Palkia wins. In this case, the real seller of a certain game was "what's your battle style? Strong and burly, or agile and persistent?" Gen 5 and 6 are the same way, though I'm not sure what a fairy-type is nor do I know its strengths and weaknesses. But I doubt they're going back to the trump cover Pokemon deal. Which makes sense since fantasy has had mages trump warriors (Fighting types) as well as Dragons. What I wanna see happen in the next Pokemon thing is that they bring back some of the original Pokemon. No, I mean it, when was the last time the Gen 1 Pokemon were even mentioned in canon reference? If you look at some of the newer trailers, you'll see Pikachu, Charizard, Houndour, Psyduck and a bunch of other older Pokémon present in X and Y. Dragon is the only thing thta can efficiently harm that second dual-typing, something Dialga can do with his 150 Power Roar of Time. That's true, but I've heard several Pearl users say how Dialga's recovery after "Roar of Time" was its Achilles heel, especially since most of the time it doesn't kill Palkia in once hit. Since Spacial Rend is a Dragon-type move and Dialga is Dragon/Steel, then the damage adjustments cancel out and deal normal damage, which is still a walloping 100 along with the second attack during the recovery. Though I was interested to learn that Mega Man's normal A attack was him firing his arm cannon. The first person to have a ranged A move and all of his B moves are based off of different powers from the Robot Masters. Should make playing as him either incredibly fun or incredibly frustrating. Why not just redux copying movesets and such? There was a theory saying Xerneas and Yveltal represented good and evil respectively, but that sounded a little flimsy to me.
