YCLoveMaker Hotel: We Love You All to Death~!

Recommended Posts

I can see where you are getting at Fusion, but a dog is a dog and alive. The gun, if properly locked away and only obtainable by those the owner views as trustworthy (in my house that'd be no one), then to tell said person that they can't buy a gun because of someone else is unfair. Not to mention that some people will have records that are not necessarily "bad" but are for things that 1.) They were innocent for but still got charged or 2.) something petty.

Think of it like buying a video game rated R, which you are of age. You want to buy the game and are going to be the only person to play it, however, because you have a little brother who isn't old enough then you don't get to buy the game. You can say "my little brother isn't going to play it" all you want, but you still don't get to buy the game simply because someone else isn't old enough. It becomes unfair, right?

Now if someone in the house is mentally incompetent or poses a risk then it should be obvious that no one in the house should own a gun.

That's another thing that burns me up. People are blaming violent video games for the recent shootings. I mean, good lord; that's like blaming high school chemistry for meth cooking.

This applies to pretty much anything with mature content like blood and guts, nudity, drug use, etc. Parental guidance doesn't mean they flat out can't view it; it just means that they have to either be supervised or given permission to, trusting the fact that they don't act the same way IRL.

My parents don't mind me playing games like GTA or Assassin's Creed, but it's when they're watching me play it that gets awkward, given that they're not comfortable around such content; at least while either me or my sisters are around.

See, that's what I'm taking about: more in-depth background checks on the family or whoever one lives with to find out that stuff. I don't believe those factors are taken into consideration during gun purchasing at the present time.

As for the comfort value, that's really up to the family. If you can convince your mom or whoever that it'll be fine, then fine, but I do think the gun sellers should definitely check into the whole family because what they deem fine may not meet societal standards.

Right with you; I had to do a debate about that in high school and I was on the side against that. But of course we had to use evidence and the only stuff online supporting it is sh*t that goes with it because it's easy to determine.

It really boils down to the person's sense of morality and understanding of explicit content like that. Video games could be a factor as to why the person did the crime, but it is not the factor and shouldn't be held responsible for such turnouts.

And yeah, I was showing this funny flash movie about the Matrix to these two kids I knew back in 4th grade, but the teacher heard someone say crap and proceeded to watch it with us while they made a Trinity sex joke...

Okay since everyone knows that I wasn't able to go to Mega Con with my club nor with my friends, I decided after a bit of talking to organize the next trip to a convention to ensure that I and my friends will be able to go and have fun! After a bit of looking we, meaning me, decided on which convention we were going to go too out of the ones that sounded the most fun.

We are going to Anime Festival Orlando!

Not only is it 4-5 months away, giving us enough time to save up the required money, but the main event sounds too fun to pass up.

What is the main event?

War Between Worlds

Oh yeah . . . if any of you decide to go let me know- if this does go off as I want then you just might run into me. Hell! You and I might actually have a one-on-one match (>B3)

A quick glance through that page reminds me of Cardcaptor Sakura and that one Earth Dragon game Yugi played in Season 0.

Good stuff.

If I managed to get to Florida again, my first stop would be the Magic Kingdom. I have not properly enjoyed an experience there yet and I'm determined to make it happen >:

You've never had a good time at Disneyland?

Must be because I'm a Florida-born guy, but I've been to Disneyland a few times already and all of them were a pleasant time there.

I've been there twice: Once for a family trip, and once for a marching band tour. It's funny, though, cause we only marched once. We had the entire week to check out all the parks.

Though, it would've been more fun if one of my friends hadn't been mad at me the entire week. Every time I passed her, she'd grumble at the sight of me.

Well

The first time I went to Disney World was when I was a little kid. But we went during the week when the Pokémon Johto League Finals were airing and I was a major grumpy-puss the whole time because I couldn't even record it and I basically ruined the vacation >>

Last summer though, I managed to go to Epcot in Disney World and that was alright. Now I just need to do another proper Magic Kingdom run and I'll have no regrets.

You're in a band? What do you play?

And geez, more people ruining Disney vacations for others. What a world.

Disney vacations are overrated in my opinion. Your better off going to the beach, mall, or zoo. If you want a Disney vacation, sit down and watch all the Disney movies non-stop (yes you can take food and pee breaks).

Have to say I agree with this. I've been to Disney probably a total of four or five times and, unless it's during a special event, it isn't as much fun as people make it out to be. Sure some of the rides are fun but when it all boils down to it what is the most memorable thing you did?

I can't remember anything Disney specifically did to make me remember going, and in turn wanting to go back, but only that my friends tricked me onto a ride I didn't want to go . . .

As for the Zoo I'm kind of in the same boat as Disneyland. It's a tiger behind a cage . . . amazing. (B |)

Mall is fun only with friends as is going to the beach, unless you're there to catch some waves then it doesn't matter who is with you.

I agree completely. Although this is coming from a guy who lives on the other sides of the country than Florida's Disney Land unlike a resident who can go whenever. Gone twice. First time I was I don't even know how young. Probably 10 years ago.Maybe more. I don't remember when the Universal Studios trip was. Went again like five years ago but my brother and I got bored. It rained so we just used it as an excuse to leave even though we had only been there for a few hours. I think I like Universal Studios more.

The fact that you guys aren't the first to tell this to me depresses me completely ;__;

I hear a lot of people our age like Universal more; probably because there are more "bigger" rides for us to enjoy and Disney really excels on that childlike charm. But still, I have not had the proper Disney World experience that everyone else I know has, so I want to go for that one magical time to satisfy that, then I'm good.

Now that you bring up movies though, I realize I haven't seen any of them in a while...I need to do that.

Why? It's not really bad.

If I were to have kids I'd still definitely take them to Disney World.

It's one of those things you gotta do at least once.

They have a few good ones on Netflix. I watched Pocahontas and Aluce in Wonderland. Most of the rest are on VHS in my closet, but my sisters have the player due to DVD player failure. So I can't watch them on my own terms. A few other parks I wanna check out before I die are Universal Studios and Busch Gardens, also some Six Flags parks, since I've only been to one of those.

Right, but pretty much everybody has told me it meets the hype more when you're a kid compared to now. But whatever, I'm more in touch with my inner child than most anyways, so I should have a blast either way.

I've actually never watched Disney's Alice in Wonderland. Same for Hunchback of Notre Dame.

I haven't seen Rapunzel or the Frog Princess either, but I'm assuming those are more forgivable.

I never went to Disney World, but I feel like I'm a bit too old to enjoy it now (at least by myself).

I honestly feel like any vacation spot would be fun if you enough friends with you to keep things interesting. Even staring at tigers behind cages.

I want to see the white tigers in Vegas someday.
Same for Hunchback of Notre Dame.
Hunchback of Notre Dame is probably the most nostalgic Disney movie for me. I watched it at my grandma's house while I was up there one week, and I felt like I was 5 years old all over again. Dream vacation? That's easy: Greece. Mostly for photography of the famous landmarks of Ancient Greek history, as well as the ruins of Troy if it exists.

Well for one, "Troy" was located in what is now modern day Turkey, which means you'd better have planned a multi-country trip =/

There's also the fact that Greece is currently dangerous for tourists and has had country-wide protests against economical measures taken by their leaders. A portion of the trouble is coming for the neo-fascist group "Golden Dawn"

So yeah it isn't the best place right now xD But at least you can still visit the ruins of Troy in Turkey if they're open to tourists

Rapunzel I can forgive, but you need to watch Princess and the Frog, as well as Hunchback of Notre Dame. Those two Disney movies are amazing, even if Princess and the Frog isn't as old as the others it feels like one of them.

I'm surprised that The Princess and the Frog didn't do as good as I thought it would. I mean it was Disney finally getting back to their roots with the entire princess scenario. But then again I guess since they hadn't done it in so long most people weren't certain about an animated Disney movie being played in theater when Pixar had taken it over.

Also I think it was nice that they finally had a black princess.

On another note they really had a lot of freedom to do with the story as they pleased, since the original Princess and the Toad story had little detail in it.
