YCLoveMaker Hotel: We Love You All to Death~!

Recommended Posts

Bryblade was far more intense than that, Denver.

Hands down that has to be drawing. I used to doodle all of the time, even in class, and that is actually how I ended up getting into writing. I had an comic, which turned into Struggle of Powers, and once I graduated I had no time to draw or anybody to really read them- note I didn't have a DeviantART account then. So I kind of just dropped drawing all together and went for writing because:

1.) I was a better writer than artists

It's funny that you say this because seeing as how I see quite a bit of grammatical errors I'd like to say, "I'd hate to see your art."

AND
2.) There was an audience for it

Comics seem to pick up better for people rather than writing.

I did try to pick up writing again as a kind of picture journal, which did get popular when I shared it, but other than that I don't have the time. But if anybody is interested in seeing one I'd be happy to upload one (83)

Eh . . . I got out of Yu-Gi-Oh for the same reason I did the first time= It is MOVING TO D*MN FAST! If I can't get the cards I want out of the pack before another one comes out I don't see the point (=_=)

Yeah, hard to keep up with no damn money.

And I bought myself a new beyblade just because my little cousin is into them and I couldn't find my brother's Rushing Boar.

I was thinking of getting back in but the names of they beyblades are all just so damn stupid.

You drew?

Yeah, upload whatever you've got, that'd be interesting to see.

Here is one, though again I never did put much effort into my drawings
RealLifeFarmville_zpsab5b3dab.jpg

The story behind this was in fact my mother DID attempt to start her own garden but had bought the wrong soil so nothing ever grew.
Whoops, doing that wrong. You're not supposed to try and build decks solely out of packs, that's nigh-impossible. You're supposed to trade, or buy singles.

Call myself a solo act. I really didn't know many people who played Yu-Gi-Oh also much less had the cards I wanted. Any stores around here wanted to sell them and not trade so . . . yeah (=_=)

That's so DF (>3>) Seriously my grammar ain't that bad.

And yeah the new Beyblades are horrible. Well maybe just the bit monsters they have now, but other than that they've basically haven't changed a bit. Sure they're metal instead of plastic but nothing beyond that.

Hobbies? Well, I bowled for about 5 years in a league, and I did pretty well at it. My current record is still 219, compliments of my double turkey.

But I can't do it now unless I feel like taking a 30 minute drive to get to the only bowling alley in Darwin.

Well, your art's a lot better than I can do, good job ^^

Thanks Fusion (83)

And I've bowled a couple of times and HOLY F*CKING SH*T . . . I'm horrible at it. If I don't get it in the gutter most of the time I end up just picking off one or two. Okay actually I don't remember how good I am at bowling because I've only done it a few times, last time was at my brother's base, but I can assure you I'm probably bad at it, LOL.

Bowling is fun, but yeah, I don't do it as often as I want to.

Recently I've been working on my curveball, which seems to be working cause I've been getting strikes with them.

It's a lot easier on the Wii, though...

Oh an Fusion, any chance you could stop by the Showcase forum and check out my chalk drawings?

100-160 is my usual range

The bowling alley near where I live is really nice so we usually go there for the dark light and black leather couches

Oh god, I f*cking love the black light nights.

That's usually the only time we go is on those nights.

My best score was I think ~218, and I was on a roll.

I had a lot of hobbies, but mostly liked drawing, writing and playing music instruments. I still do some of these nowadays, but I guess that kind of stopped when I moved away for studying and money/time flew into other things? But when I find a music piece that interests me, I will play a bit.

Also, bowling is a lot of fun (but I literally suck balls. In the sense that they end up in the sides sometimes xD).

I very rarely bowl and the last time I did was years ago. Not something I was very good at. Well I might have been one of the better ones when I was in Elementary but it was bowling so I didn't really get to into the club we had.

So what other sports do people play here that we haven't mentioned before?

I really don't have anything else that I haven't commented about; I've already spoken about paintball and LARP

I loved snowboarding but that's another thing I haven't done in a while due to lack of money. Thinking about it I can probably save up a bit and do it again next year. It'd just be like four days in winter so I'm sure work would let me do it. Not to forget, I know a few people and have been talking to my old snowboarding buddy again.

I'm probably going to end up getting into airsoft seeing as how I know quite a few people who are also into it and I have a job. Just need to get together with one of them so we can talk about the gun(s) I should get.

You draw too? How good are you?

My brother wanted me to e-mail him a bunch of my "comics" so he could so them off to his army buddies and apparently all of them liked it and wanted more. When i told him I wasn't going to e-mail him anymore he suggested I make a website or a Facebook page about them. I'm actually considering putting up a Facebook page.

What do you guys think?

On a side note, we had a new member in my college club. Him and I ended up dueling with LARP swords and kept hitting in the same freaking place (B |) So now my leg is sore . . .

Speaking of art, I just finished a chalk drawing of Glacial Malphite from League of Legends. It's in the Graphics section if y'all are interested.

And if anyone has any suggestions for what I should draw next, feel free to throw out ideas.

That's pretty much the ONLY place to swing at because blocking that low makes for a difficult transition and an easier hit.

I keep wondering if the other college in town, UNCW, has any clubs I could join. Not sure if I can do that cause I'm in another college, but it'd be nice to consider.

So far, I've accomplished 2 double turkies, resulting in 219 and 214 respectively.

That's as good as my friend John. Were you on the bowling team at your school?

I will say my Wii Bowling's pretty pro. The key is doing a curveball from the far right.

And I can, sure, though don't expect anything too constructive because art is not something I'm an expert on >>

Same...when the gutters are blocked.

That sounds like a pimping bowling alley, all I ever see are hard plastic chairs.

I was a pretty good swimmer in middle school, but I sucked in high school and that never really happened.

I tried track for a year and I guess I was okay as a sprinter, but there were a lot faster than me. At least I was faster than my sister.

I've skied a lot, but I've been wanting to try snowboarding. Supposedly you fall on your butt a lot during the first day, but once you get the hang of it, it's easy.

Wish I could practice my marksmanship, but my parents hate guns. I had to use all my persuasion skills to get a water gun for summer camp one year >_>

That seems to be the most common curveball area.

I usually move a few pegs right and aim about a peg to the left, then curve it right. Scored perfect games with that strategy.

If we're on the topic of art too now it might be ironic that I'm probably the least interested in it of us all. Seeing as how I'm left handed and it's supposed to be the right side of the brain that deals more with creativity. Although a few of you are probably left handed too.

1 v. 1 me, bro.

A lot of bowling alleys seem to have special nights like it. I'm more surprised you haven't seem to have heard of it before.

I was apparently a better swimmer than I thought I would be. Moved up a lane in freshman year, woohoo.

I actually have no clue how I never managed to break anything.

Oh yeah, that reminds me. My dad and I are probnably going to go out to shooting range more often in the summer. He'll probably pay for bullets and I'll pay for entrance.

I'm left handed and actually most people who are left handed tend to be more creative. It's actually also the right side of the brain that controls the left side of your body. The brain is wired backwards and has a 3 nano-second delay from what you are seeing.

I know all of that. Who doesn't know all of that? Why else would I even say it's ironic to be left handed and least interested in art here and then mention how the right side of the brain is more focused on creativity?
