Jake the Sage
I am writing so much then I'll post it. I want a good portion of it already finished before I post them week by week- that way while I'm posting the episodes I can also have time to write the second season. And sorry Fusion but Death Note just seems boring to me. Give me a reason, a good reason to watch it.
Fusion X. Denver
Aha, that might not be a bad way to do it. And the suspense. There's a clash of minds on the psychological level that involves the characters outwitting, manipulating, and changing the pace of the case throughout each episode. Sure there's a lot of dialogue, but it's really fun seeing Light's and L's minds at work.
Thar
And sorry Fusion but Death Note just seems boring to me. Give me a reason, a good reason to watch it. It's clever and witty. Basically, you have some guy with a notebook where you write someone's name in it and it kills them. Then you have some other guy hidden from the world using a false name L, using that advantage to track down the owner of the Death Note and booking him. So it's like cat and mouse. Jake the Sage
Thar thank you for the plot explanation but I already knew all of that. But that still isn't enough, guess I'm not interested in the psychological aspects of it that's made it popular . . . though after everything I guess I'll give it a look (>3>) And Fusion yeah that writing is so far doing good for me. It's allowing me to look and correct things I might have missed- not to mention I have two friends working as "editors"
Desu the Blue Nerd
Jake seriously hasn't seen Death Note? He seems like he'd love it.
Jake the Sage
I tried to watch it once but like a lot of anime I seemed to jump in the middle of it. Never a good place to start. I know what it is all about and I know the major characters but beyond just getting glimpses of it there really hasn't been a time I sat down and said, "Man I feel like watching Death Note right now . . ." Thar
I read the first 12 chapters or so, but then I just stopped. I wanna keep reading it, just to see more of L and Ryuuku.

Spirit of DMG
Okay, so I've been watching Fairy Tail. Once I finish that it's Wolf's Rain then on to Soul Eater. Man, Loxas is really messin with Makarov right now... Wonder why Natsu can't get through the enchantment? Is he really over 80? Or is he secretly a stone statue that's been hit with an animation spell? ... There's probably a second enchantment preventing Lost Magics from being used in the battle royale cause both of those seem silly... Then again, this is Fairy Tail... Jake, just shut up and watch Death Note. If for no other reason than that MisaMisa is really cute.
Fusion X. Denver
Aha, another Fairy Tailer in our midst. I can dig it. Reminds me of One Piece a lot. Although its been feeling a little off lately, dunno why exactly. Anyways, Jake'll soon join the Death Noters, that's good. Say, this is kinda random, but you're all used to that, so I'll just ask. I'm looking to start a radio show at my college called Highlight. The idea behind it is basically about bringing attention to underrated people/things in media. I'd start off with highlighting (u see that) an artist/group by playing a song, describing their overall style and giving a quick background story. Then I'd do the same thing for a Youtuber. It's a growing art form and now you can make a career off it, so why not, right? And the other component I wanted to include was inspiration, since lots of kids in college are looking for some as they face their futures. The last part of the show would be talking about an individual who managed to do something great through lots of hard work, basically give someone my listeners could learn from. Do you think something like that would work? Should anything be added/cut?
Lt. Colonel Remo
Sounds nice, but it sounds like you might need some hipster friends in order to find all those bands/youtubers daily/weekly/whatever increments

Jake the Sage
I can see Fusion doing that and to be honest it might be interesting to see. I know we have a radio station here that literally plays whatever they want without a single DJ, and it's almost 95% good songs that you either know or have heard growing up. I think doing something for AMVs would be awesome but there is already a guy on Youtube who does that. Fun fact: did you know that when a band made a remix of their song they had an AMV maker do his/her thing for the official release? No kidding . . . they actually hired the guy to edit an anime to match with the song lyrics. I don't know if he/she got paid but that shows you that AMV making isn't just "a hobby" Actually, here is the AMV itself: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PHmUKMgTQgw
Jake the Sage
You ever get sick and then just get over it? Yeah that just happened to me, in fact it always happens to me . . . how often do you get sick?

Thar
Funny thing is, everyone in my family AND at work has gotten sick, and I never picked it up. Must be cause I'm always a bit sick. I'm always coughing, sneezing, and sniffling, but those symptoms aren't severe enough to be considered "sick." And it also might be my compulsive fruit-eating/drinking habits. All that Vitamin C has something to work with.
Spirit of DMG
I never get sick. Well, rarely. Once every few years I'll be down for the count for a few days, but then I'm over it. I have the worst diet habits of anyone I know. I'm drawn to sugar. Pepsi, cookies, cake... if it has Sugar, I'm probably gonna eat/drink it. Yet, I never get sick. Flu, Cold, whatever, I take no preventative measures, and I'm fine. I know people who are OCD about eating healthy and are total germaphobes, and they go down every year during flu season. Odd... The Warden
I am relatively resilient to disease, mostly cause my family loves their garlic. Plus, I don't smoke or drink; so my immune system is top notch in terms of flu, and even if I do get sick, it'll be gone in about 2-3 days. Fusion X. Denver
I usually get sick once or twice a year...usually from aggravated allergy symptoms that turn into a cold :/ Although there's a bit of an epidemic around my school now, but I haven't gotten sick again. Thank God >_>
Thar
I don't understand why people get so hyped to get flu shots just for some harmless virus. I understand why senior citizens would need it, but seriously, if people don't want to catch a disease, they should wash their f*cking hands instead of relying on needles injecting who knows what into their bloodstream. Dude, you need to come down here and visit the 'Cheesecake Factory' with me one of these days. I, like you, have a sweet tooth that is only overshadowed by my sister. And I am pretty much the same when it comes to being sick. I hardly get sick and when I do it happens to be only a day thing were I lay down and sweat it out before getting back up the next day with a shrug, "Okay that happened . . ." Like everyone here I don't care what I eat, as long as it ain't sea food, and don't go out of my way to get check ups or take medication when I am sick. Most medicine doesn't even cure you of the disease, just makes it where you don't notice the symptoms anymore, so really what is the point!? Actually Broken, a glass of wine once a week is supposed to be good for you. On the same note an apple in the morning wakes you up faster than a cup of coffee. The Warden
Ever tried wine? I took an accidental sip and it almost burned through the back of my throat. But when I say drink, I mostly mean beer or vodka, the most common of booze.
