Stop right there.

No.

No more shipping.

The shippings that have been canon for a while are enough. New shippings are either a one time joke or just terrible altogether.

I love your sig.

Weirdly timed too, since I discovered this awesome DBZ site and rekindled my love for it.

But yeah, YCM shipping's like a dead horse being beaten by everyone on the Merry-Go-Round as they pass it.

I've been watching it straight through for a few months now.

I know what happens, but the anime has loads of stuff the games don't include.

Right now I'm at the Otherworld Tournament, reuniting with the first DBZ episode I've ever watched as a kid.

Oh, the memories~

Clair seems to be like Dwayne "the Rock" Johnson. She's not around often, but when she is, everyone goes apeshit.

Then soon enough, she leaves again.

So I guess Lora & Cherry is OKAYYYY... cause you know, she's not here... <<

Otherworld Tournament's another good example of how filler arcs can actually be good.

Modern-day studios need to take some notes >>

I'm going to watch Kai at some point. Maybe when they dub the Buu saga and release the uncut version I'll just plow through the whole thing.

That's actually a lulzy analogy...pretty much right.

But nah, you won't find a more loyal dog than Cherry.

Well

Andx, but he left the Internet for 2 years to go be a monk.

I don't mind fillers, just as long as there's actually something to look forward to.

And I'm not sure what to think about Kai. I mean... what is it? Just a re-dubbed, filtered down version of DBZ?

It's DBZ without all the filler arcs and filler moments.

You'd be surprised how much extra content got removed .-.

That, and some things were touched up a bit, but only a little bit.

I wouldn't recommend you watching it until a few years from now when it's not as fresh on the mind. It's really best for kids like me who watched it during childhood, but haven't watched watched it for a long time now.

It's not half bad, as long as you avoid the Saturday morning 4Kid's version...

I've never imagined Mr. Popo being blue. Ever. That's just... there's not even a strong enough word for it... >.<

But, that's really anything. The only reason I can stand the 4Kid's YGO dub is because I've been too lazy to find the original version that Japan intended it to be.

Also, Fuse, I think Kai was intended to end after the Cell Games. Unless there was an announcement made when I wasn't looking.

Most of Dragonball Z was filler, but because we didn't know it at the time we just let it pass by without a second thought . . . until Kai. And yeah I am pretty sure that DBZ Kai was supposed to end at the Cell Games, because honestly that is where the creator planned on ending it. The ONLY reason we got the Buu saga was because the fans kept screaming for more and more- which is in fact why Goku was brought back to life, because no one wanted Gohan to be the main hero since we got so attached to Goku.

On another hand I never saw the 4Kids version so I never knew about the Blue Popo until Team Four Star did a special with him in it. In fact Team Four Star is the reason why I'm now afraid of Mr. Popo (e_e)

Speaking of Team Four Star and Dragonball Z Kai:

Dragon Ball Z Kai is continuing into the Buu saga overseas, it was confirmed last November.
Weirdly enough, it won't air in Japan.

That really doesn't sounds as weird as it should mainly because it's more or less the same thing. I know the original show had a bunch of filler and Kai cut that out, but I... am not entirely sure when I say this. I don't think there was too much filler in Buu Saga other than parts like the ridiculously long SS3 stuff and some other scenes where they just sat there doing nothing. Seeing as the only other difference would be the script, there's... not much reason for Japan to just go over it all again.

... again, this is me thinking almost all of the buu saga was important

I believe I've reached the part where the first sign of Majin Buu is shown on the head of Spopovich.

And I believe another nostalgic moment is coming up next episode. I remember Videl (whom I just fell in love with~) being slaughtered by Spopovich in her match, and Gohan struggled to keep his cool.

But back then I thought it was Broly. I'm not sure whether he's in Z or GT, but I am STOKED to see him. He's like, the best brute in the show, imo.

Broly the Legendary Super Saiyan was fkn epic. He was like... just the most BA bruiser in existence.

Then Broly's Revenge came out, and a five year old Trunks and Goten were all it took to take him out, which was sad...

He's in a third one? Huh...

Sailor Moon was the first anime I saw. And I don't recall much about the Buu Saga except Buu turning everyone into chocolate and then eating them. And he pushed Kakarot to SS3, in which state he looks like the lead singer to some punk rock band.

Okay I finished watching Gurren Laggen and I can say this with confidence, I understand why people enjoy it and claim it is an extremely good series. It is. Like Hellsing, yes I'll compare it to that, it isn't some long drawn out series that takes forever to get to the end- it is short and simple and when it's finished you're left wanting more. I also can't believe it ended on the ONE thing I consider the "most bad ass way for someone to leave" which is just a witty comment then walk away without saying anything else, the cape was just for added effect but well worth it.

So, uh . . . yeah . . . now I just need to finish crying through AnoHana (just kidding I haven't cried . . . yet) and then one more thing then I'll resume Ranma 1/2 and see what else is out there for me to see. On a side note though I've found that the Anti-Spirals are akin to the Master Keys, though only so much and they aren't the first race/person/etc. that shares some similarities with us; it's also funny that Jesse views humans pretty much the same way, looking down on them like insects who just struggle for no reason.

But Dad constantly praises the human race so you understand why they fight a lot............and I do mean a lot.

@ The Broly Topic

I don't even consider the third movie even remotely canon because it was terrible. Broly is my favorite movie-exclusive character and dbz antagonist in general. He was extreme and buff as hell. He spends the first movie looking like a twig with some weird anger problem which then explodes into the strongest super saiyan to exist with the godliest steroids.

Not to mention he slaughtered everyone for like, a good hour and a half of the movie. Even when Piccolo came in, and Vegeta stopped being a pansy, they still got their asses handed to them.

The Second Movie was really meh to me because Broly didn't have the same terrifying feel as the first one. Especially since he was having a hard time killing some two saiyan kids. ... Yet he messed up Adult Gohan pretty well, but Adult Gohan sucks other than Ultimate Gohan sooooooooo :v

i just feel like only the first movie did him proper justice, even if the way he went out was... sort of dumb

I agree, Broly is hands down one of the best Dragonball Z villains ever. He is just a literal force of nature. I mean he just keeps going through people one after another. Just- BAM! Knocking them the f*ck out without so much as a care. Also you have to admit he has some of the best lines for a villain for DBZ.

"Why don't you give us a handicap!?"

"Is that another word for coffin?"

MY GOD! That still gives me chills and I'll admit, I've used that . . . oh yeah . . . I've used that sh*t before when beating people at Brawl and they ask for a handicap. I mean, who doesn't love Broly and his eipcnes?

You mixed up the order there; Bio-Broly was the 3rd movie. The 2nd movie was when Broly returned to Earth during the training period for the 25th World Martial Arts Tournament (or some time around there) and he fought Gohan, Goten and Trunks.

But yeah, Broly's fights are pretty friggin awesome to watch. Not much personality though.

Finally!

Figured you'd like it.

Now go watch Death Note.

LOL No (B l)

I am going to watch AnoHana and then finish something else because I still have writing to do. Over 140 pages man! Over 140 f*cking pages!!! AUUGGHHHH!!!

Sorry but unlike Gurren Laggen, which did interest me and I always wanted to watch, Death Note seems to be a bit more . . . how should I put this . . . boring.
