The Warden
Oh, I know about the auto-grind in Magatsu Mandala Cherry, used it myself a few times... fo the money, fo the money. Papa gots to start da savins for New Game+. I heard little Lizy was a bit of a nuke, due to all her rules and regulations. But, that isn't to say Maggy slouches either. Also, I am currently pretty sure that it's almost impossible to get all the S.Links done in the first playthrough. Also, can you imagine Gamera and Godzilla makin out? It'd be little fiesta day at the fishmarket. "Oh Gamera, your fins feel so nice up in there. Oh sweet Godzilla, put your tail into my shellhole." iCherry
There are some guides for finishing all Links first playthroughs. I haven't ever used one though because I enjoy going to find the links I especially want to work on first before anything else. Like in P4, I work on the party members before the others. ... Which is probably why I never got to max everything.Save that big money for New Game+ and grab your level 47 Izanagi on Day 1.Maggy isn't too bad compared to Lizy though. Spirit of DMG
How far are you in it? I can't even get past the first boss. >< I swear, I cannot land a single blow on it without being annihilated by his hammer, which deals damage even when he misses. And it took me like 3 deaths to figure out that the first blow had to be a diving stab. That helped a lot. But still: the closest I got to killing it was down to like 1/15 of its health, which of course was when I was one hit from dying- *SMASH!* Yep... You gotta stay right up on that guy, and when he begins swinging his hammer, roll around behind him. You gotta get the timing just right on this, or else he'll still hit you, but once you figure it out, he's too easy. He'll also fly up in the air and drop, which can do a good bit of damage and knock you down if you're too close. Just run back a ways, and when he lands run up on him and seize a chance to do some damage. I'm fighting Orneith and Smough. Yes, the first Boss in Anor Londo is two bosses. Gamera is a giant turtle? Who feeds on heat sources? And is supposed to be the guardian of humanity? Why does that sound like it could easily backfire?
The Warden
I find the party's the most important S.Link, due to the obnoxious weaknesses getting presse dout, mostly. My first run through is Chie, Yukiko and Yosuke, but, I'm considering a sausage party run next go. Maggy's easier because you can use your party, if you were forced to solo her, she'd be the same level as Lizy. Though, I heard in The Golden that they made the Shadow Yukiko and Shadow Kanji fights easier. (Either way, I still enjoy watching Shadow Yukiko get her bird ass handed to her in The Animation. Actually, Shadow Naoto and Shadow Chie also suffered pretty satisfying defeats. There's some comfort in watching that smug little s**t getting blown away by Megidolaon.) iCherry
Even without a party she isn't that bad. They did tone those two down, yeah. I've only heard that though, since I can't even play Golden.jfc im sure everything in golden is easier since your party members can have their persona evolve twice
The Warden
Actually, their evolved Personas were changed to those new designs. From what I read, they gave Shadow Yukiko an ice weakness, as well as giving Tough Guy & Nice Guy an Ice & Fire weakness respectively.
iCherry
... Oh.... the hell was the point of that wtfIce Weakness with Shadow Yukiko is a yes.Ice/Fire Weakness on Tough/Nice Guy is a Hell Yes.
The Warden
The ice weakness is a touch dodgy, since Charming Prince was also weak to ice. So, now Shadow Yukiko can be more easily AoAed. Though, I always found Shadow Yukiko to be harder than Shadow Kanji, Tough/Nice Guy are a pain, but, they do get baked easily enough. Then you gotta spank da homo; which is better than the cheapness Shadow Yukiko unleashes with Shivering Rondo and Burn to Ashes.
iCherry
Shadow Yukiko is harder solely for Chie. Her 1 Mores hurt.Shadow Kanji, himself, is piss easy. He's got that annoying shock move and crap, but I just sometimes let Chie get enraged on purpose and she can just go apeshit and inflict massive damage on him for me. Fusion X. Denver
Only video game I've played recently is Devil May Cry. Call it simple and easy, but boy is it fun. Jumping's a tad clunky though. Whole new level of respect for Dante though. Badassery at its finest. And Gamera looks better than I remember...good for it. The Warden
I let Yukiko and Chie get enraged in that fight so they can whale on him, he was down real low so healing didn't matter anymore. Though, ready to have your mind blown? In The Golden, after you beat Ameno-Sagiri, it DOESN'T time skip. You have until February 14th for quests and S.Links
~Tico~
Though, ready to have your mind blown? In The Golden, after you beat Ameno-Sagiri, it DOESN'T time skip. You have until February 14th for quests and S.Links Becasue I enjoy randomly interjecting within conversations... Old news to me. Although it was nice since rushing through for the sole sake of trying to finish them S. Links right before the last day of December isn't as necessary. But now Golden seems much, much easier than the original P4. So much so that it's almost boring. Almost.
The Warden
To be fair, The Golden also adds in two more S.Links that need to get done for Magastsu Inaba. You need the spare time to make up for doing those two.
~Tico~
I was done with Adachi's Link (or at least getting it up to rank 6) by some point early on, although my memory fails me as to when exactly. Marie's too didn't take me too long, as I definitely recall having hers done before December. But then again, that extra time makes up for the Links I neglected in favor of theirs, so.... :T Also, unless I remember incorrectly, don't the "rare" enemies not only show up a LOT more frequently, but also give you a ton of EXP and money now? Each time I found one and killed it, someone in my party usually got a level up or two from the huge amounts of experience thy provide. Comparing that with the original, where they only gave a pitiful amount of EXP...No wonder I was at level 90 by the time I got Magatsu Inaba. The Warden
The Golden is indeed much easier. Though, doing Marie early then gives you access to the Hollow Forest dungeon during February, and Getting Adachi to 8 gives you the chance to destroy evidence incriminating him, causing the S.Link to become the Joker, or, if you realize your suspicions, the S.Link becomes the Hunger. ~Tico~
I still feel kinda miffed that they localized the Lust as "Hunger". I guess it could fit, given Adachi's "hunger" for thrills and power, but Lust seemed to fit his character more overall, especially after it was revealed how and why he approached Saki Konishi and Mayumi Yamano. Jake the Sage
And Gamera looks better than I remember...good for it. Yeah that is the Heisei version of Gamera, which is the updated version. Like Godzilla who went through a Showa and Heisei version so did Gamera and even Mothra. Gamera is a giant turtle? Who feeds on heat sources? And is supposed to be the guardian of humanity? Why does that sound like it could easily backfire? Well the first one fed on heat sources, the other one absorbed mana and made himself stronger- the Heisei version was also the one that was the guardian of humanity. As for how it could backfire I have no idea. But think about this . . . Gamera absorbs heat sources like power plants, which Godzilla is one, and Godzilla can withstand TWO mother f*cking BLACK HOLES being shot at him! Mugendramon
Wait, wait, what? When did Godzilla get black holes shot at him? There are several Godzilla continuities. One of them is the one where it fights space mecha godzilla. It shoots Black Holes. However that works.
Spirit of DMG
Imagine this: Gamera feeds on heat sources, such as power plants. Suppose this thing decides it's not happy with what it's getting, and decides it wants more? Who's gonna stop it from completely consuming all the heat sources it can find? Jake the Sage
Mugen you have no idea what you're talking about . . . do you? There was no "Space MechaGodzilla". However you are right on the continuity thing. The current continuation, which I believe is just a jump off from "Godzilla vs. Destroyah", had a film called "Godzilla vs. Megagurius" where the EDF (Earth Defense Force) completed a sub-orbital min black hole cannon that they could shoot at Godzilla. The first time they technically missed, by a few yards, because the Meganulon were interfering with the targetting system. The second time they hit him dead on . . . but Godzilla just shrugged it off like, "Yeah whatever . . ." Also Godzilla has only died TWICE in his 50 years being on screen. Once in the original movie and again in Godzilla vs Destroyah, the latter death being caused by nuclear meltdown that WOULD HAVE BLOWN UP THE F*CKING EARTH!!! I mean seriously, if Godzilla is going out . . . b*tch be taking everybody down with him (XD)
Headmaster Monokuma
hey guys popping in for a second cause i was bored Mugen you have no idea what you're talking about . . . do you? There was no "Space MechaGodzilla". http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mechagodzilla The Showa Mechagodzilla has armour constructed out of a mysterious and nearly indestructible alloy known as "Space Titanium." It is also equipped with a staggering amount of firepower. Mechagodzilla is capable of firing a rainbow colored optical beam that was able to match Godzilla's atomic breath, known as the "Space Beam". Sounds like a Space Mechagodzilla to me. Okay yes, while that MechaGodzilla is made out of Space Titanium and what not, it is not called Space MechaGodzilla. NONE of the MechaGodzillas are called anything other than just that . . . MechaGodzilla. Okay there is an exception with the newest MechaGozilla, because for some reason they keep calling him Kiyu, but my point remains that none of them have been called Space MechaGodzilla despite their origins. If I had to guess, which Mugen I hope you didn't think I was trying to be mean there, he was thinking of Space Godzilla.
Mugendramon
I don't actually know anything about Godzilla in the slightest. But I did remember something about Godzilla fighting a robot version... and a mention of space. Also note how I never called anything "Space MechaGodzilla". It was a conjunction of common nouns, not a Proper Noun.
Spirit of DMG
I own several Godzilla movies, one of them being "vs. Mechagodzilla" there is mention of space metal in it. Though, they just call him "Mechgodzilla" and he gets his metallic arse handed to him in the end. Another one is "vs. Monster Zero" and if I remember correctly, there's mention of a three-headed guy named "Gamera" in there. It's also the only one I own with Rodan in it. On an unrelated note, I love how out of Godzilla, Rodan, and Gamera, my Spell Check only recognizes Godzilla as being spelled correctly.
