Ya i heard that Justice League is coming out the same time as Avengers 2.  And Captain America is already named as "Winter Warrior" I'm pretty sure.  There's a new Thor coming soon too.  The Iron Man looks.  I can't even think of words to describe it.  As for DC..  Man of Steel looks really good.  The Wonder Woman movie will be good of course.  I hope they do a Flash movie #favoriteDCsuperhero

 

Man of Steel does look good actually; I'm hoping it gives me more of a reason to like Superman.

Any way... Yeah, didn't even watch The Avengers.

All of the new wars will end up like this. Wars were destined to fail because:
1. If they succeed, everyone and their mother will post every three seconds and no one can keep up. Then, someone will lock the thread because it'll be so much posting it might as well be spam.
2. No one will care enough to make it past the OOC thread.

Not to mention YCM Wars are usually with clubs fighting to improve the bond of friendship and such between club members. What the hell is Lowbloods and Highbloods going to do? Because you see from Homestuck how everyone went on a rampage and killed each other.

Oh my. Don't tell me you though there was an actual superiority issue going on. It was Red and Blue, so I wrote that as shitty flavor. It really didn't mean anything. ;-;

 

Also, if it does go past the OoC, the simple solution is to make different threads, for the different areas. That way, things won't get as tangled as they would if it were a single thread.

Oh, you came up with it. I didn't think it was a superiority issue, I was just thinking it of the same manner as the Homestuck team and how swell it worked out for the trolls later on.

That just seems sort of messy though. Having 2-3 different threads for separate areas/bases seems unnecessary, people just need to be forced to be patient, which is why I suggest the waiting after 5 posts rule one of the wars had.

I honestly don't get why people pick up cigarettes. I can understand weed since there's a high, no immediate drawbacks, and it's a plant. But cigarettes only last for a couple minutes and everyone knows that crap gives you lung cancer.

You could say stress relief, but if you're dealing with that much stress, I'd say get yourself a stress ball.

Half an hour seems like too much because at the regular speed of wars, it's incredibly easy to lose your place.

There's no EASY way to regulate posting. You can do it by X posts between each post, but that requires people to post regularly which not everyone really does. It also requires a decent number of people in the RP.

 

Time can work, but it doesn't always help. Sometimes, if you're interacting with someone, you might have to wait a little while anyway. There's just no easy way to do it.

Yeah, the VC was a part of that war. I recall that my motivation for getting involved was that somehow, the fall of the FTK was Pikachu's fault. Never did get to fight him. But, yeah, it was fun. I enjoyed myself.

I actually have a solution for that and we won't even need to make individual threads on the forum. I am part of another web site called Chatango and you can open up your own "private chat rooms" without much problem and turn them into anything you want too. I pre-thought having a tournament and planned on having it there, but if the club wars thing wants to go there I can change things around.

 

You don't even need to join Chatango, just sign in as your YCM username and you'd be fine.

Stress balls don't do sh*t. Not even when they're shaped like boobs. I'm not kidding on that one. Seriously. Now I don't smoke by Jesse does and he just enjoys the nicotine he gets from it. I wouldn't smoke because one of my family friends, I called her my Aunt we were so close, died from Lung Cancer because she smoked a cigarette ever day of her life.

Yeah I think that is something fan fiction has over role-plays. However when you are role-playing with a bunch of people you come up with different story lines that you would have never thought of by yourself so while it may be slow and tedious at times, if you get a good enough group, you can really do an amazing role-play

Even with "good" groups, the probability of it happening is extremely high. But also keeping Fanfictions going is pretty tiresome in itself. Both of them require miracles to go on and run smoothly.
