That'd probably help a lot in the long run. I remember Yin getting on people's cases to reduce their sig sizes all the time, but I haven't seen any too big ones since Black made his Sig Size announcement.

Now, the reason I would rather have this discussion here, aside from Desu's eloquent proposition; is the fact that maybe more than one of you need to know what's being done wrong here. Eh, still, this is a Yugioh forum. I think going all fr srs about it is a bit of an overreaction and some of the newer members would be turned off by doing a quiz-thing.
Maybe a captcha (however it's spelled), though those can get annoying.

I keep up with Naruto and One Piece regularly when they come out. I've finished watching Hellsing and Fullmetal Alchemist so they are out of the way- until Hellsing comes out with the final volumes to watch.

The only series I have that are ready to be finished is "AnoHana" and "Gurren Laggen"; episodes 7 and 23 respectively. Other than that I could pick "Ranma 1/2" back up if I wanted too or possibly even "Kenichi, the Mightiest Disciple"

Fullmetal Alchemist is about two brothers who have done the ultimate taboo of alchemy and as a result have had "the Truth" take something away from them. For the oldest brother Edward he had his right leg removed and to save his younger brother, gave up his right arm. The younger brother had his entire body and when Edward gave up his right arm, he had his soul bound to a suit of armor. Now the two brothers search the world for a way to regain their original bodies back.

But it isn't easy when the world is ruled by the laws of "equivalent exchange" where in order to gain something, you have to give up something of equal value.

That's a really interesting idea for a show or book. Is it manga or just anime? I would watch it if anime and definitely read if manga. Any other interesting ones? I really want to get back into manga and anime. Or just good books you've read. I need to find good books.

It's both. Actually there is three. The original manga and then two anime shows. One is just called Fullmetal Alchemist and was made before the manga was finished so part way through it goes off the original plot; the other anime is called Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood and follows the manga's plot to a tee.

If you have ever read or seen Hellsing I would put that one out as well as Negima and Love Hina. I highly suggest Love HIna if you are in or planning on getting into college.

Kenichi's good, though the anime stopped early on in the manga.
However, they've been coming out with OVAs lately, so there's a chance of a 2nd season.
I'd watch the anime, and if you like it, pick up the manga. It's worth the read, though there's no telling when it'll ever end...

The thing about Bleach is that it started off great, but then it recycled its plot a couple times and just got really meh.
It's like, a universal consensus, sad to say.
I'd say [i]read[/i] Bleach, the one advantage about reading it all at once is it goes by pretty fast, even if it has a lot of chapters.

FMA is an awesome series, either read it or check out Brotherhood. You won't be disappointed.

So you have Bleach and FMA so far (if you decide to do those), what else interests you?
Gore a turn off? If so, avoid Hellsing.
If you love it, DO Hellsing.
Care for any romances? Clannad and Toradora are top-notch in that department.

Ive had trouble with mods in the past and how they threaten a thread or people because they have the power too, and thats what gets my knickers in a knot the most. I wish yu could have been a little more polite when asking is to stop spammy, because the vibe i received was more hostile then it should have been. I kepy forum etiquete back then because there were less ass holes before. I recall people being a lot more relaxed back then. I got in no arguments before and didnt like it when others did because there never seemed any real reason too.

In general it seems the rules have changed. I joined in 09 and used the forum till 2011 and then left and came back about two months ago. I know how forums work. It just seems unfortunate that policies have changed on here like they have on many other forums

I hate people who view things like this. As time goes, things change. They will never stay the same.

This is something we need to embrace. If everything stayed the same, life would be dull as f***. Maybe it's just me, but YCM sucked when I joined, it sucked before I joined, and it will continue to suck when I'm actually gone instead of partly dead.

I want YCM to change. If it does, maybe it has the slightest chance of actually not sucking for once.

Hey Dane good to see you haven't changed. I know you aren't around a lot but please, don't complain about a forum you willingly go on from time-to-time. Yes there are parts that do indeed suck and could be improve, but you can't deny there is a reason you and everyone else keeps coming back.

Stating a fact isn't complaining. YCM does suck. There's very little constructive discussions going on anywhere. CC is a festival of bad design while pretty much anyone who knew how to play the game in TCG is gone.

Role Playing has been going downhill for a long time, and while I haven't been looking as much lately, seems to be the same generic stuff as usual.

Creative Writing is the same as always. 1/2 people writing and getting praise. Tons more who write and get ignored. Then those people who can't write worth s*** and and get told so.

Showcase is cool, but being kept alive by a small group of people.

Clubs is the same as it was when I joined. POINTLESS, POINTLESS EVERYWHERE

The reason most people keep coming here is boredom and people they know are here. If YCM shutdown, all people would need is a way to contact some people on YCM that isn't YCM. Nothing would really be lost.

I only come here when I'm absolutely bored and I have nothing better to do. Today happened to be one of those times.

Dane that is still your opinion. I personally believe there are certain sections that are quite good and even some threads worth coming back to this thread. In fact outside of a few role-plays I can't join because of being in college this place still has a lot of good things in it and good people in my opinion.
