Remo, remember that scene where Creator killed his half-bro? Well, technically he did, but more like Donovyn was wounded and fell off the building, and in the midst of maniacal laughter perished.
Anyway, I just read the whole thing in an hour and a half. Gotta say, it was quite interesting. Ouja Boards are bad news. I coulda told them that.

Hello Dane, good to see you have remained the same as always. You didn't like the story that much I suppose?
Story was far too supernatural based. While the original DEF did have hints and pieces of it, it was mostly realistic besides technology and exaggerations. Generally, if you want to write a continuation or spin-off of something, it pays to keep it in the same vein of literature as the original.

I doubt I'll read it if the rest of it is in the same line of work as that small bit.

It's not that it was bad, not at all. It just isn't up to my tastes.

So is the evil spirit an entirely new character or is this a character who died in DEF during the Inactive War?
The character is someone who died during the Inactive War
And if I'm not mistaken, there is an armed force known as the 'Free Army' or something to that tune?
In the story the original rebel group known as "the Banned" changed to "The Freed" once Life was defeated and Emperor Aito disappeared

Evil spirit? I'm guessing it's either Life refusing to die, or that crazy guy who died laughing.

I believe you are referring to Alan Deustodo who claimed he'd come back as the D. Onem

Gotta say, Jake, despite my lack of DEF knowledge, so far that short story is very intriguing. I'm only half way through it right now, but I'm definitely considering finishing it before you get DEF II finished and posted.

Thank you

Oh okay so that was how Donovyn was killed. I only knew that Creator killed him. But there was also the person I said above.

Well Dane sorry it's not your taste. Like I said I'll add a bit more of the supernatural but it wont be so over the top like the short story was. Yes there will be things here and there yet like in the original I'll have it explained so it makes sense.

Just finished it. That was intense, I must say. Several grammar errors assuming from hasty writing, but a fun read nonetheless.

I have to ask, though... the last part with that memory... was that a memory a part of DEF?

Those who got possessed sometimes had "flashbacks" of the person who had possessed them. I know one person had a flashback and you got to see the experience through that spirit's eyes. One of the flashbacks even tells you the identity of the "evil spirit" if you looked hard enough.

Just going to stand there and watch the snow fall. I kind of miss the Christmas Logo now though. I will probably be listening to more music than expected if anything. And I get cards.
Probably am going to change my sig around to fit the spirit if I really care. I care more about my birthday coming than silly ol' Christmas. :P

December 23rd.
I really never thought you knew my birthday though...
OH, I also have my second year anniversary coming up. Don't want to miss that!

Hey DD, did you happen to read Jake's short story yet? You play a pretty interesting role.
I haven't. Guess I'll start reading now.
