File Transering from PS3

Recommended Posts

So, I have some music files that I downloaded from PSN. It's the soundtrack for Starhawk, and there is nothing I'd like more than having those files on my Laptop. You know, iTunes and such.

HOWEVER

I can't find a way to get those files to save my LIFE.

How exactly would one do it, if possible?

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Listen, Sony doesn't normally allow jack off their device. Arguably, this is rationized for not allowing people to copy games or something silly. The best I've gotten is getting music on my PS3 with a flashdrive. I don't know how to help, your best bet is to call up Sony support and see if some function exists like that... or maybe a PC service.

ANYWAY: USB drives are the only way that I know of "Transering" files from a PS3 to computer. You may be able to burn music onto a blank CD, but I'm not completely sure.

Alright. Also, thanks for not totally laughing your head off just because I don't know something. I really appreciated it.

I was loopy when I wrote that and my intention didn't come through. I was laughing because of the ridiculous amount of time I put into trying to solve this a few months back and now you're trying to get it. Like I said, ...I think it was the thunder..., anyways sorry it that came off as demeaning.

It's alright, I didn't think much of it anyway.

There has GOT to be a way to tear that thing to shreds to get the files. It'd be a shame not to listen to the soundtrack on my iPod, as it's really high quality.

Ugh, I don't want to buy the soundtrack on iTunes, but I also don't want to just pirate it. Both would be too much of a bother.

...Time to explore the darkest depths of the internet!
